Nono's has been my constant when it comes to having Comfort Food done right which happens to be their tagline as well. Good thing they got a branch in Festival Mall which I do not frequent often because of the distance.
I am pretty unfamiliar with the restaurants around the area and was not in the mood to try a new one so I just opted to stick with a familiar taste -- Nono's.
I ordered their Creamy Truffle Pasta and it was honestly good -- the Truffle was not too strong and the serving is generous. I suggest that they let the customer choose their pasta 'coz I could have enjoyed it more if it was a Tagliatele Pasta.
We were here last week. Love their pesto. My son loves their cheesecake. Staff is friendly and service is efficient. The place is also very welcoming.
I love Nono's. It never gets crowded in there and I love the resto ambiance. My favorite thing to order is their Nono's salad which is a healthy combination of salad veggies and fruits. So good. My husband enjoys their beef belly. For dessert, I will always order the Chocolate Oblivion. I also love that they give the customers free treats in the form of cookies or a slice of cake.
Thank you Nono's for your fast service for your delivery because I was starving. I had a good breakfast (Grilled Salmon and red rice). It only took 35 mins from prep to delivery via food panda. As for the food, still warm and I like the taste of salmon. buttery but very light. Will order next time. :)
Their truffle pasta is tdf. Would’ve given it a 5-star if not for the serving size of their flat white. It was really good, though. Also had mac & cheese which was okay.
Their eggs ben and waffles with strawberry are definitely a must try! The eggs ben was done perfectly and the waffles are crispy and soft. A really feel-good breakfast power meal!
Loved everything we ordered! It was nice that they offered sides with veggies and red rice. Food was right on, not salty (which we really liked). Plus points for the surprisingly flaky waffles. Will def go back to try out the rest of their menu. 😊
Good ambiance. Delicious cakes! We love their food and coffee too. Nono’s is our new tito/tita tambay place. We love the place - cozy and bright. Not too crowded like other coffee shops.
Super love the Homestyle Fried Chicken w/ Waffles! Saltiness and sweetness explosion inside your mouth in every bite. Also tried Fried Truffle Cheese Wontons, it was good, their Beef Tapa (USDA) was normal tasting tapa. Not recommended. They gave us compli strawberry shortcake, it was dry. Also not recommended.
Love the ambiance and food! Our favorite was the chicken, they suggested a step to enhance the flavor of the chicken, It was so very worth it.
I was able to try their Kesong Puti with Walnuts and of course, their famous Chocolate Oblivion. I love the interior of the place and they have a variety of pastries and cakes.
Who would have thought that this restaurant is actually not dealing much with Filipino dishes? I thought they are, been quite resistant to eat here but guys, guys, guys... Great food. I cannot argue much about the ambiance, they have cool and a very light feeling when you come over. Big table even just for two, and silly it might sound but their Samsung air conditioning unit added like an interior, love it. They have a great menu and I finally found a restaurant that cook pesto just so right. Like so good... Hard to name every food but pesto was outstnding for me. Service was good too. You can have take aways as well.. Cool eh! Will definitely be back. See my Pesto cream with grilled chicken 👇 Go get yourself one.
First to try was the newer branch in Sta Rosa, Laguna but only for coffee ☕️... this branch is very commendable esp for the great food 👍🏼, prompt and courteous service esp for our server : ms Karen 👏🏼 we’ll definitely come back 😘
Rating is based on their cakes from Classic Confections, as we only went there for desserts. We bought Sylvia’s Strawberry shortcake and Meline’s Chocolate Cake. The strawberry shortcake is my absolute favorite - the best I’ve ever tried. It’s a sponge cake with real strawberries and a creamy icing, with just the right amount of sweetness and strawberry flavor. Gosh, it’s really good! This cake is a must-try if you ever get to drop by. Meline’s chocolate cake is the perfect partner, since it’s not too sweet, a soft moist chocolate cake with a dark chocolatey icing.
They sometimes sell their whole cakes at 50% off, when it’s around 2-3 days before the expiry date. This is a great deal for me, since the cakes wouldn’t last for more than a day with us anyway, because their cakes are just sooo good! Will definitely come back for desserts.
I love everything from Nono's. They have generous servings too. What my kids usually order is their chicken dipped in honey then gravy. We also love their chocolate peanut brittle. Service is also great!
We frequent the place almost every week for our usual coffee & brunch fix: grilled cheese panini for the kids, something from the “Mains” for my wife, and Pepito steak sliders for me. The waiters & staff (Jem & Karen in particular), always greet us with a smile.
Yesyes to Nono’s.
Glad to see a new café in the area. We’ve tried the place a few times and it was always a good visit. Not perfect, but good nonetheless. Cookies and cake varieties are something we’ll try more in the next visits.

Fried Truffle Cheese Wontons (Mozzarella and cheddar stuffed wontons, drizzled with honey and truffle oil) – this was interesting to me so I ordered this as an appetizer. This was a level up from your ordinary cheese sticks appetizer on the menu. The taste of the cheese together with the sweetness of the honey actually works.
Tomato and Basil (Spaghetti with organic cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, parmesan cheese and olive oil) – this is marked as light and healthy on their menu so I’m guessing diet conscious eaters would select this pasta option. True enough, the taste was light, meaning I found it bland actually. I would have wanted it to have more flavor.
Truffle Cream (Spaghetti with truffle oil and freshly grated parmesan cheese) – this was rich, creamy and tasty which was the complete opposite of tomato and basil. I guess it was the cream and the cheese that after eating half of it, I already felt full already.
Thing to note that the bread that came with the pasta was hard, like seriously, I felt like it could chip a tooth. I mean a light toast would do but not make it rock hard. Maybe this was isolated and limited to this batch of bread (hopefully).
Nono’s Homestyle Fried Chicken - who thought honey and gravy worked well together. I liked that the chicken was already boneless, so easy to eat. This is a must order!
Grilled Cheese Panini with Sour Cream Dip - if you like cheese this may be for you. Overall, this was an OK dish for me and a good starter although may make you feel full already because of the cheese and dip.
Oriental Shrimp Salad - this is a good salad and I guess that’s the reason why it’s marked as a favourite. Very tasty and the honey lemon dressing is delicious.
Caesar Salad - it was OK, for me it was your average salad.
Cookie Skillet a la Mode - this is a yummy dessert. Brownie was delicious and chewy.
Aesthetic wise I liked the crisp and bright design of the interiors. The beautiful lighting fixtures were a plus too.
Staff was polite and attentive. The guy Chard even asked how we liked our food.
Restaurant was advertised for comfort food, and yes, I was comforted :) I had the Fried Cheese Wanton (super yummy! I wasn’t able to finish everything so I took some home, and it was as yummy as it was freshly served as when it was already eaten cold at home), French Onion Soup (oozing with cheesy goodness) and Mac and Cheese (comforting!). Service was surprisingly fast, taking into consideration that it was supposed to be a soft-opening operation and servers were polite and took time to ask how the food is. Will definitely go back, to try their desserts and to stuff myself with the Cheese Wanton!
A surprisingly good restaurant has popup beside Coffee Bean. They got bread, cakes, and of course breakfast-dinner. A must try place for every food lover.
