Ordered almost 50% of their dishes and not one of them is disatisfying. Everything on the plate explodes with flavor I haven't experienced before. If you're into Japanese food this is definitely a must try! Service is great as well and very welcoming. I must say the value for money is worth it based on the servings per dish. Best to dine with family and friends and there are a lot of choices with unusual but exquisite fusion that adds to your personal palette to choose from. Will definitely come back for more!
Apart from offering a delectable twist on Japanese food, Mr. Roboto’s staff are to be commended for their customer service and attention to detail.
I’ve only gone three times here, but it was enough for one of their staff to remember my allergy to shrimp. She relayed this to the team preparing the food, and they accommodated me by making my order without this ingredient. All this without my prompting them about my dietary restriction. Kudos to the Mr. Roboto team!
The food and service are excellent. The plate serving is also just right. Taste of food is so good. A must try here in the south.
Superb Japanese food, super cool ambiance and my fave 80s music! This is my kind of resto! Thank you, Mr. Roboto! Definitely, coming back here.

Loved the voltron and shake nigiri. On my next visit, I'll try the Nori Nacho and other sushi flavor.
When My daughter invited me yesterday, I said I think I will not like the food coz its new to me and I am having a hard time with the chopsticks hahaha but As soon as I tasted the food... Hahaha! I am speechless... Nauna pa ako natapos kumain sa anak ko hahaha! The food was great and I wanted to go back again...
Great Maguro Nigiri!
Nice ambiance and great staff and service. Highly recommended.
Voltes 5 is really a winner, my husband and I's fave. Dotonburis are also a yummy treat. Another one of our favorites is the Chicken Karaage, tried it both in gravy and curry sauce. Gyudon is also good. Looking forward to trying Chicken teriyaki next week! Love the big servings, fills up our tummy. Good service too and friendly crew. Keep it up!
Good food, fast service and the ambiance really is amazing!
Smart fresh fun ideas well executed. Decor is a love letter to the classic mecha. An instant classic.
Wonderful staff and food!

Servings are big sized portions good enough for 2-3 people even though the staff would always say it is just good for one person. We always end up ordering too much and end up with leftovers. This is still a good option when choosing a modern japanese restaurant in the south if you like your dishes tweaked and given a different version. The tables and chairs do need to be cleaned. We have seen food scraps on the chairs and floor during our previous visit here.
Not usually a fan of fusion Japanese cuisine since I'm a hardcore purist but boy was I wrong. I loved every dish I tried, the Mr. Roboto, the Voltes V, and don't get me started on the Shake Nigiri!!! The Shake Nigiri was the best thing in Japanese Fusion I've tried and I was honestly surprised at how well it worked!!I love the old school anime decor of the place and I'm willing to come back! My money was well worth the dining experience I had here and I think it will continue to be on future visits!!
Super worth it. Currently my favorite japanese resto for maki. 😍
Best Japanese fusion restaurant in the Philippines easily. Mr. Roboto>OOMA, Chahan fried rice and dirty corn are real tasty. Big servings at a reasonable price which is KEY.
i already went here 3 times because of this dish, i also love the fact that the place isn’t packed and not noisy at all unlike in some other restaurants. definitely coming back again!
I love everything about this restaurant—their retro, robot-themed ambiance, friendly staff, and OMG, THEIR FOOD!
I live in Quezon City and have a friend from South, who would always recommend this place. When I was checked-in in a hotel in Alabang few months back, I finally tried this place out and was really surprised with how good their food are, given so much Jap restaurants opening here and there. They have a modern, inventive take on Japanese food and not really your usual in a good way. I honestly think they could even compete with other famous Jap restaurants, if they would expand.
Ever since my 1st visit, I was sure to myself, that I’d return to try other dishes. And indeed, just few weeks ago, we stopped over Alabang from Nuvali just to eat here for dinner!
We got their nori tacos, salmon sashimi, mazinger z roll, and voltes v roll. Also had their tempura bowl (got this during my 1st visit, too). Their rolls and tacos (served with generous amount of salmon and tuna sashimi bits) were savory unique in taste. Sashimi was fresh. Tempura bowl was (again) excellent, 11/10! I’m a tempura lover (I would never miss a week without tempura 😂), and their tempura bowl has actually become one of my favorite—their sauce here really complements everything in this dish, really a must try! Serving sizes are pretty big and worth it for the prices, too.
Can never get enough of this restaurant and would always come back, whenever I have a chance. If they had a branch nearer my place, I would be a regular customer for sure!💕
Hard vouch the Ika Nigiri! Just be careful in eating it because the ink tends to stain your teeth but I daresay it’s worth it!! Would definitely come back to try the other interesting flavors!
Love!! Really good serving size! In love with their chahan, didn't get to take a pic of their chicken karaage but it's also another favorite.
Finishing a 12-piece sushi all by myself is a really fun experience. I loved Mazinger Z so much because the taste is out of this world! Definitely coming back again!
I looove their sushi!!! You can eat alone or with friends and you would never mind because their food is really delicious!!! I have been here for about 4 times already, and I definitely would be back for more.
Mr. Roboto is a classic/modern Japanese restaurant located in Alabang Town Center. It is a robot themed restaurant particularly Voltes V, Mazzinger Z and other 80's to 90's robot characters. They serve classic Japanese dishes with a modern twist. I like the presentation of the dishes. Food taste is above average. Price is reasonable. Nice staff. Good location.
Big servings, delicious food, and excellent service! My friend and I found the place after a post from Tara Sa South in Instagram. Definitely worth the trip!
Great food!! The flavor of the sushi is unique and balanced. Salmon was fresh, rice dishes were flavorful, dessert was perfect. 5/5 will go back for more. Hehe
I love love love the Nori Nachos! Actually, once you enter, you'll notice every table has Nori Nachos. 😅 It's a definitely must-try. Another thing I like with Mr. Roboto, their servings are big, so I suggest bringing your friends here if you plan to dine out. 😉👍
Kumain kami dito last father's day 2019.
Mahilig kasi si papa sa jap food kaya sinuggest ko itry namin dito over our yung fave namin jap resto.
Sobrang sarap dito. Pero naghanap lang kami soup like sukiyaki/miso pero wala silang any soups.
👌nori nachos
✔kani salad bomb
👌tuna chirashi
👌salmon chirashi
✔mazinger z
✔daimos
👌genmaicha tea (bottomless 😉)
Babalik kami 😁
Great value for money. Yes, the Salmon Chirashi bowl is P480, but for P480, you get a bowl of salmon sashimi and rice that’s enough for 1.5 hungry people. Also loved the Dirty Corn.
Just keep in mind that this is a funky, fusion-type Japanese restaurant, not a strictly traditional one.
Space was a bit cramped and we had to wait a while to be seated. It was worth the wait though - the food was really tasty! I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a chill meal to hang out with friends.
After our kid's recognition ceremony, we craved some japanese food. Opened up zomato and this was the first that popped up. Decided to eat here, and boy was it worth it!
Rated 6 out of 5. Would eat here again.
If you love a different twist on your California Maki. I love their best seller tea. Simple.
The desert, I need to bring it home.
It is too big for one person.
My friends and I loved their food! They had huge servings, so everything was really sulit.
The salmon from both their nigiri and their Chirashi bowl were fresh. 💕
The staff were polite, and were always quick to answer inquiries. Our glasses also were never out of water.
My friend and I liked their wall a lot! I also loved the way they present their wasabi, simple but cute with a robo face. Also loved all the other details. Although the place had mostly glass opposite or adjacent to their wall, it was okay since there wasn’t much people passing by. Or that we were too engrossed in what we were eating to notice 😂
I’ll definitely come back!
Their menu are all creative and good. I really enjoyed all the meals that I ordered here. Despite that it's westernized, everything still came out good. The only downside for me is that the place is small & it easily gets crowded here. Plus, everything is in glass so there's no much privacy when your inside. But nonetheless I really like their food.
What a great food experience! I used my zomato gold to avail the 1+1 on food, but my favorite dish would have to be the nori nachos - it is a MUST TRY!
Amazing presentation of food and the serving is big for its price! Place is loaded with robot anime pop culture designs. Overall the dining experience is superb.
Shake Nigiri (php255)
Dirty Corn (php195)
Refillable Genmaicha Tea (php40)
I quite like the nigiri. I wanted to try their Chirashi but I know I wouldn't be able to finish it. I'll be back for it soon!
The green tea was soothing and perfect with sushis. Dirty corn was ok.
The place takes a fun twist with traditional Japanese rolls. We tried 3 different roles: the Mr. Roboto, the Voltron, and the Voltes V. When our food came out, we were definitely stunned with the size and colors! The food is just as colorful as their interior. It’s pretty and very instagram-worthy. The tempura bowl was ginormous, and just as tasty. The one downside would be the sushi- this place is for great fusion rolls, so don’t expect much sashimi and/or a-grade raw fish. Their Sojuyakult (a little odd as Soju is a Korean drink, but I enjoyed it) is a must try~
Food was superb but the place was surrounded by glass and it tends to get warm during lunch time (eventually cooled after a few minutes, I guess they opened or adjusted the air conditioning when people flocked in).
Since I don’t eat salmon sashimi and my friend wanted salmon, we decided to get separate orders of their Chirashi. Chirashi is a bowl/poke with 5 different ways of Tuna or Salmon. I had theur Tuna and it was really good. Serving was huge so it’s advisable to be shared. Sadly, both me and my friend weren’t able to finish our bowl.
We ordered Voltron sushi which is mostly kani maki. It was really nice and we had to have it to go because we were too full already with our Chirashi.
Would love to go back but might prefer going back for dinner next time.
When in ATC, this is always my go to sushi restaurant! I love their Salmon Chirashi so much that almost every time I visit, this is what I order. It was a bonus that they have Zomato Gold for 1+1 on Food. However, the promo isn’t available anymore. 😔 I’d still give this restaurant a 5star!
all the food we ordered were the bomb! worth every cent ☺️ portions are good for sharing 2-3 persons (depends on your appetite)
will definitely recommend to family and friends 😁
Colorful and tasty modern Japanese dishes at a reasonable price!
Ate here twice in a month. We had nori nachos, salmon sashimi, shake nigiri, mazinger z, chicken katsu, and genmaichi tea on our first visit (via Zomato Gold). On our second visit, we had the chahan, gyudon, and ika nigiri.
The salmon sashimi was served 3-ways and the chicken katsu had 3 kinds of dipping sauces but I would definitely go back for the makis and the nori nachos. The gyudon was too salty for my taste though.
Personal Rating: 9/10
Food is good, big serving. Could have been better if they allowed us to take home left overs. Tempura sauce was so-so. I still prefer the traditional sauce.
First, it has parking around the area. It is not hard to find. Second, the place has an ambiance of 80s with new wave music and the paints of famous ROBOTS. Third, the staff was accommodating and served us with our cups always filled with water. Lastly, food we ordered the Mr.Roboto, Daimos and Mazinger Z. Each has unique display and flavor. I suggest Mr.Roboto for first timers. Teriyaki chicken and Tempura was at par with other Jap resto around the area. 3.8 stars for me. From USTH, DOHC_Mark out for now!
It was our first time to try Mr. Roboto and it did not disappoint at all! Big servings and fresh ingredients. We wanted to try the Gyudon but it was not available so we instead tried the Charsu pork which was yummy as well. We will back!
First off, the place looked really cool with their colorful designs. Plus, I liked how the construction of the place made it easy for the staff to cater to the customers as they were able to see everyone.
On to the food, we got the Tuna sashimi combo, Voltron (which is basically their version of a California Maki but with a lot of Lani), Shake Nigiri (which is soy and negi salmon on beet rice) and Ika Nigiri (which is squid on squid ink rice).
Every dish was flavorful and unique. My friend liked the squid dish the best while the shake Nigiri was my favorite. It really just melts in your mouth and each bite is a burst of yumminess. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh and of great quality.
Definitely coming back to try their other concoctions! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
We used 3 Zomato Gold memberships to get 3+3. I'd prefer the salmon sashimi platter to have more raw salmon but the spicy salmon and cream cheese salmon is also good. Nori nachos are very good with the deep fried crabsticks but I feel that the salmon and tuna sashimi are too much. Grilled pork rice bowl is my favorite compared to the lamb katsu and chicken karaage. Its sweet flavor is paired very well with the charred umami flavor. The chocolate bread pudding and the banana cream pie has a very delictible taste if you can shoulder the weird texture.
Mr. Roboto’s take on modern sushi is very intriguing. We ordered 3 different kinds of sushi rolls and enjoyed every bite of it! The staff was quick and polite. The food was delicious. I just hope they put up more branches, that way I could be able to go more often!
used zomato gold here. food was great and the ambiance was good as usual. But i wish the service was warmer; for the most part, it seemed just perfunctory. there was one server though who was actually consistently nice whenever he refilled our water glasses
Mazinger Z and Shake Nigiri were a hit. The tempura, not so much. The veggies covered in breading or flour tasted a little weird. Iced tea is too sweet.
My friends and I went here after gym for our dinner. Everything is delicious. The service is also good. Their Ultimate Prawn Tempura is a must try. For dessert, order their Banana Cream Pie! Will definitely go back. Good job, Mr. Roboto!

Great food and big servings. Our food was served real quick and the staff were courteous. We just don’t understand why you cannot take out your leftover food if you’re using zomato gold. Still a good experience all in all.
For our Monday night dinner, I'd give this resto a 3.5 over 5
1. Servers aren't attentive and not friendly. I've seen customers who were right in front of them for their attention but they never looked their way immediately. Dined here a couple of times already but I never really felt welcomed by their servers
2. Beef gyudon was too salty. It also tasted similar to beef salpicao/tapa instead. It wasn't what I expected
3. Chicken teriyaki was okay but you could really taste the burnt parts
Thumbs up to their makis though, they're really good. Would still give this resto another shot but I hope they can improve.
The queue on a friday night was loooooong.. We had to wait 45-60 mins to be seated. This was probably due to the fact that the restaurant was a little cramped since the space was small to begin with. Although the server allowed us to order when we were already next inline. That made us wait for our food for only about 5-8 minutes.
Food: The food was good. Actually its great. Servings are enough for 2 not-so hungry people.
Ambiance: The place makes you feel that you are in a fast food chain somewhere in japan, except that it makes you feel abit more crowded due to the small space of the restaurant itself.
Overall, if only the place was abit bigger, and the queues were abit shorter, it would be a 5/5.
The salmon is worth it with 3 variations and takes a different twist the tonkatsu is good but the gravy is very salty and the tempura is cooked right but it has a thick breading i rate 7.5/10
The Nori Nachos is a must-order shared by me and my husband. But this is meant for sharing with 3 or more people or else there's "umay" factor. Our son loves this. Mr Roboto and Shake Nigiri taste good and made our tummies so full. Our daughter loves the gyudon. Tastes like bbq.
It’s my second time eating here and I must say the consistency of the food quality is on point.
I have eaten the Mr. Roboto and Shake Nigiri before and I think it tasted even better than the first time!
The chicken katsu did not disappoint as the serving size was really worth every centavo!
All in all the dining experience was great, the staff were nice, and the food tasted awesome!
Definitely would eat here again👍🏼
First time here and really excited to try their makis since my mom said they were so good! I totally forgot the ones we ordered since the names of the dishes were Japanese characters (animes???) and I’m not really a big fan. Regardless what kind of maki you get, all of them are good!!!
Their printed menu doesn’t have photos of the maki but they have an iPad that comes with the menu that shows you photos of each kind of maki. I actually didn’t look at the printed one anymore! The photos in the iPad is a plus points to me!
We’ll tey the tempura and rice bowls soon! Will definitely come back!
We ordered Mr. Roboto, Shake Nigiri and two Chicken Katsu.
First off with Mr. Roboto, OMG!!! The size of this sushi was beyond my imagination. And the taste...the smokey flavor of tuna really got me melting while chewing the whole thing. Yes, I did took the whole lot! Haha. That’s how you do it! At first I was hesitant because it was big but it was worth it. All the flavors are so right. I don’t actually know what’s underneath the tuna cubes and heck it was so good!
Next! Shake Nigiri another Omg! The sashimi on top is so soft and melts while you eat it without the fishy taste!
Just thinking about the experience makes me hungry and want to have some again.
Lastly and definitely not the least, the Chicken Katsu with Veggie Tempuras. The serving size is really good. Definitely a stomach loader! The Veggie tempuras really surprised me because I felt like I have never eaten any veggie tempura before that actually taste like a tempura. It really leveled up my standard of tempura. I’m now very curious how would their Shrimp Tempura taste like...hmmm.. I feel like I would be blown too!
Getting to the Katsu, there is a lot! Believe me. You would really enjoy it to the very last bit. The Chicken surprised me that it is not your usual chicken breast but it is actually from those juicy-tasty parts of chicken. I also think that there are some chicken skins(which I’m not sure). The point is it was really tasty!
And my favorite part of the Chicken Katsu is the three dips! Yes, three dips! They don’t make you choose which one but gives you all of the choices! which really got my heart. The dips (as my tastebuds deciphered) were cheese, gravy and curry.
I love the cheese and curry.
Just by reminiscing and writing this review makes me want to go back there right now.
Highly highly recommended!
Will definitely come back to try other sushis and katsus! And so much more.
My first experience dining with my zomato gold. It was seamless! It was such a great deal also because food here was superb! The pork and chicken were both really tender. The veggie tempura was interesting also. 👍
Me and the wife have been itching to try this place. With my son out with his friends and the place tucked in one of the corners of ATC. This was the perfect opportunity.
WOW. The food was creative and flavorful. It was a departure from the traditional sushi maki spot. We really enjoyed the salmon 5 ways.
The decor brought back memories but was unnecessary. The food carried it own if you are not looking for the traditional.
The service was attentive and friendly.
Excellent service, excellent food! I really appreciate how they give importance to making sure people with food allergies are well taken care of. I will be back for sure!
2nd time dining at Mr. Roboto. Used my Zomato Gold
It was today at lunch time. Around 11:30am
Food: 10/10 Delicious Food. Great Portions.
Ambience: 8/10 We were placed at our table. But could still see little crumbs of leftover food. But place and paintings were awesome.
Staff: 8/10 Staff was courteous and polite. My only regret is server did not allow my leftover food to be taken out, even if it’s not the complimentary one. I felt obligated eating the leftover food even if I was already so full. Made me a little sad 😢 , As you can see we tend to order a lot haha. 😅
Restaurant Rating: 8/10 👍🏼💪🏼 Really Enjoyed the Food! 😁
Will we dine agin? Maybe, Cut a little bit on slack on the policies please 😅
They serve large portions but taste was just okay. But, this is just my opinion on taste. Staff was friendly and accommodating during our dine.
This is your Japanese dining reinvented! Everything’s delicious and perfect. Enjoyed the sushi, but I definitely loved the Nori Nachos. That was the bomb! And if you’re not up for sushi and all that, their katsu meals might be the one for you! Definitely worth the price!
everything was delicious and servings were big. we ordered tuna chirashi, chicken teriyaki and mazinger z roll. pair it with the asahi beer 👍🏻
Good food. Will remove shrimp from menu item if requested, so people with allergies can still enjoy their food. We eat here whenever we can.
All the sushi's are superb. Japanese cuisine with a twist. Kinda pricey, but everything was good. Make sure to try the Nori Nachos, it's yummy.
I can't count the number of times we've been here. It's a go to place whenever we crave japanese food. I love their wasabi, it's different from other restaurant. I'm not an expert but for it taste good for me.
It was my first experience using Zomato Gold and I appreciate that they are patient with me when they explained me how it works.
The food and staff are commendable and I hope they bring new product to the table in the future.
Super sarap ng maki!!! Lahat ata ng maki nakain namin kasi sobrang sarap! We also tried the tonkatsu super sarap din! Very good Japanese food sila medyo hawig na lasa talaga sa dontonburi! Miss ko na japan! Babalik naman ako so jap food again!!❤️❤️❤️
Super worth it. Thanks to zomato we only paid less than 600 for all these food.
The serving is big and the sushi tastes good.
Btw, the b1t1 offer is valid for sushi only. But no worries coz their sushi choices are good and very filling. Servers were also nice and accommodating. We also very much appreciated that they had a tablet to go along with the menu. The tablet had pictures of their menu options so for first timers it is very useful in helping guests choose what to order.
Me and my friends go-to place whenever we are craving for Japanese food. 💓 Their staff was very attentive and love the store's retro wallpapers. Personal favorite is the Shake nigiri and the Nori Nachos. They have a tablet for menu which has pictures that makes it easier for you to order.
We tried this place because of Zomato gold. We got a bit disappointed when the waitress told us that only modern sushis are part of the Zomato gold promo. We ended up ordering Mr. Roboto and Mazinger Z. I must say both were delicious and filling. Will surely come back to try their other dishes
We ordered Nori Nachos, Mr. Roboto & Salmon Sashimi! The food was great, not your ordinary rolls and sashimi. It is really the modern Japanese type of cuisine.
The service is also great. Highly recommend this place 👍🏽
Mr. Roboto offers one of the best tasting Sushi in town! You can never go wrong with any of their Sushi offering. Never bill out without trying their Shake Nigiri.
I don’t recommend them if you’re craving for katsudon or any other Japanese dish though.
My first visit to Mr. Roboto was during their soft opening. We were a big group of eight people, so we had enough appetite and budget to try out some appetizers (Nori Nachos 👌) and most of their maki offerings. Everything was SO good but I wasn't able to take time in appreciating each dish since we wolfed down our orders pretty quickly. So during my second visit this evening, I made sure that I slowed down to savor our order. We got the following
- Secret Secret Maki (my favorite!)
- Daimos Maki (fresh shrimp and not too spicy)
- Kani Salad Bomb (those kani balls are the bomb!!!)
- Pork Katsu (hefty serving, even the eggplant sides)
Excited for my next visit! Definitely recommended.
Retro themed restaurant with anime artwork interior that serves Japanese food.
This instagramable restaurant caught my attention since it’s very near my workplace. Decided to try and ordered Chicken Katsu (your choice of gravy or curry sauce) good for 1-2 person. For someone who’s not really a fan of curry, you should really try this as it can change your perspective on curry sauce. We also ordered Daimos Maki, I like everything that has shrimp on it. Also, don’t forget to try their Genmaichi tea *refillable*.
TIP: download the Booky App and you can score buy one take one on their Daimos Maki for only 250 🍤
Would definitely go back and try their other Japanese dishes.
Seriously love this modern Japanese restaurant! Fave picks are their Nachos and salmon sashimi plate. We kinda widow every visit but those two are our staples.
Gotta love the decor and the hip sushi fusion— any of which are worth trying.
Service is good but not spectacular probably depends on crowd thickness. Everyone is well-versed about the menu and they’ve never disappointed me. Enjoy!
Good food and service! Quite pricy in comparison to the amount of food being served. Really loved the sushi tho. Consider healthy options such as quinoa to attract healthy consumers!
I love the interior of this restaurant. I'm a fan of anime. I always their Daimos and Mr. Roboto. So far, this is among the best sushi places I've tried.
Service is quite slow, but food is good. It ain't too authentic, but it doesn't really matter. I would recommend the Nori Nachos and the Sushi.
It was my first time to eat here and it met my expectations. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. Yummy! 😍
First time to try Zomato Gold and glad we tried it in Mr. Roboto! First time to try out these lovely sushi dishes. Defintely no regrets. Will go back to try the others 😊
#1 Mr. Roboto
#2 Shake Nigiri
Mr. Roboto is located at Alabang Town Center. It’s a modern Japanese restaurant with lots of Japanese robots on the wall mural. We’ve been passing by the area for a long time and never tried it, maybe because of its fancy robot theme. Honestly, I misjudged the place.
Since it's listed as a Zomato gold partner restaurant, we decided to try it. We ordered the Modern Salmon Sashimi; the salmon meat quality was great. I’m not a fan of raw salmon yet I really enjoyed it. We also ordered the Mr. Roboto Modern Sushi; I liked how the spicy tuna complements with the cucumber roll.
Everytime we visit a Japanese restaurant, my default order is katsu, simply because I’m not a ramen fan nor a sushi fan. Their Pork Katsu was flavorful; the strong curry sauce added depth to the katsu. But unfortunately, the pork was not tender. It was hard to chew.
---
Modern Salmon Sashimi – Php380 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
***Spicy salmon, Salmon Sashimi, and Negi Salmon with cream cheese.
Mr. Roboto Sushi – Php280 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
***Spicy tuna, negi tuna, and aburi tuna on top of a cucumber roll.
Pork Katsu – PPhp395 ⭐⭐⭐
***Pork Katsu served with pickled vegetable and vegetable tempura over rice with a choice of Roboto curry or gravy.
Delisheshness! Great food, fun ambience, decent service, fantastic presentation of dishes and super solid quality food. Especially enjoyed it with my Gold status! Thanks Mr. Roboto!
I really dig their spin on the different sushi dishes. Not traditional, but still pretty good even for the price point! Be sure to bring friends as their food is meant for sharing.
Mr. Roboto is a retro-themed restaurant with graphic anime artwork and interior. Really millenials!!! Me and my boyfriend, Daniel Rodriguez ordered Mr. Roboto (Spicy tuna, negi tuna, and aburi tuna) and Voltes V (Fried ebi wrapped in kani, kani salad, and wasabi mayo). The taste is so good and perfectly balanced. Must try on their Gendai Sushi.
PS. We got our second sushi for free because of the Zomato Gold 1+1 food offer. Yey to that!!!
Innovative and good tasting Makis. I enjoyed the Tuna and Salmon Makis i ordered. Both has distinct flavors. The tuna was torched and with a faint hint of smokiness. The fresh Salmon paired well with the beet flavored sushi rice. Service was friendly, place was clean during our visit. When in Alabang this a good place to visit. Recommended.
I misjudged this place until a friend of mine treated me here last weekend. The vibe was sooo modern with a pop culture-twist.
The food, for its price, was worth its quality and quantity! Kinda pricey, pero sulit! I had the salmon chirashi (Php 480) while my friend had the tuna version (Php 470). We also got Nori nachos (Php 350) that were so filling we could’ve eaten just that instead and STILL been full.
When I have the budget, I am coming back here.
Mr.Roboto is a modern japanese restaurant that specializes in sushi.
In this visit we tried the following items:
Modern salmon sashimi - this comes in 3 different types of sashimi, one is spicy, one in savory and another covered in soy and topped with caviar. This dish gives you a taste of 3 different types of sashimi while not having to choose.
Salmon Nigiri - Your not so typical salmon nigiri. They use beet sushi rice undernearth with gives the sushi a nice earthy flavor to contrast the fish.
Mr. Roboto - 3 types of tuna on a cucumber roll. I have to admit this was absolutely delicious.
Uni sashimi - simple uni sashimi topped with green onion, tobiko and caviar.
Our Mr.Roboto experience was absolutely excellent. The wait staff were friendly, they knew zomato gold and were very accomodating. Ambiance is also very nice. Will be back again to sample their other maki’s.
Good food! Cool interiors! 👍👍👍
Their nori nachos was so gigantic! Thumbs up for the crunchy kani and nori! 😋
Mr roboto maki will be my new fave maki! I love it!
Mr. Roboto is a modern Japanese Robot-themed restaurant in the South. It is located at the ground floor of Alabang Town Center. They cater all kind of Japanese dishes from sushi, nigiri, tempura and many more. Mr. Roboto’s interior is colorful, fun and somewhat catchy. If you’re a big fan of the classic robots like Voltes V, Daimos and Mazinger Z this restaurant will suits you. They even named some of their dishes to these robots.
