Pinoy food with a twist. Bagoong Paella with Kare Kare is my fav here, it is really good how they came up with Kare kare. It us better to share the meals since the serving size is big.
It’s a must try for Pinoy food lovers!
We had a nice send-off lunch for our colleagues at Neil's kitchen. I personally loved the food fusion. We enjoyed tasting different rice recipe, except the sinigang rice which is too sour for my taste, I still did finish it though by mixing the dinuguan to it. So nothin' went to waste.

Food: I've ordered bagoong paella with kare kare, the serving is good with its price, and it is really delicious. :) it is really amazing how they came up with bagoong paella :) kare kare is also delicious and the meat was tender :) the orders of my family is also great. The adobo project is okay for me. Their calamares lacks a little bit of a flavor and the sauce that they've accompanied with doesn't feel like it's a match hehe, I don't know what that sauce is, but they should partner it with vinegar or tartar sauce. But, all in all it was really a good meal!
Place: the place is not that big, but it is really cute =)) Hehe.
Service: hmm, if only not for the service, I will rate this with a 5 star, but I am not satisfied with it.
Very creative in giving Pinoy food a twist. For example, their Kare Kare doesn't come with the usual bagoong because it is already paired with a bagoong rice. Another example is their Dinuguan which is served fondue style. Food tastes really good, especially the Kare Kare and Alabang Fried Chicken. The Dinuguan Fondue is good as well, however the pork is overly crispy that is tasted a bit burnt. Serving size is also big. Neil's Kitchen is a must try for Pinoy food lovers.
Awesome food, great portion sizes, prompt service and very peaceful setting. Very good experience overall.
We went to dine here for our (late) lunch date. There were still plenty of people eating at 1pm but there wasn't any waiting line. The staff were polite and attended to to us immediately. Their dishes has a very unique twist , a very different take on Filipino food.
We ordered Ooh lalaing which was topped with shrimp patty and served with rice. This was our favorite because there's so much flavor and right amount of spicy. We also had sinigang paella which was perfect with Grilled pork. Then out appetizer was the Calamares which has a large serving and a great starter.
Definitely go back and try more of their dishes.
Still craving their kare kare and bagoong rice! ♥️
A surprise birthday dinner for a loved one was arranged with the help of Neil's kitchen staff, Carmella. She generously offered the best menus, facility and servers. It was truly a successful birthday celebration! Thanks Neil's Kitchen! We're definitely going back!
Finally!!! Been wanting to try out this restaurant for quite some time now. First of, it's true that every corner of this quaint resto is Instagram worthy! Have no pictures though coz I was busy eating. Lol! As for the food, they serve Filipino dishes with a twist. We ordered Calamares, Alabang Fried Porkchops and Grilled Chicken & Crispy Dinuguan Fondue. We enjoyed all of the dishes, and they come in big servings too (good for 2-3 pax per order). Will definitely come back to try other food in their menu. Also discovered that they have private rooms that can be rented for private events.
Good selection of fusion dishes. Welcoming ambiance. Accomodating and attentive staff. A little bit on the pricey side but worth it for the quality you're getting.
Ito yung restaurant na binabalikan namen dahil sa bukod sa ambience ng restaurant yung food nila para samen masarap...lagi namen order dito yung Sinigang Paella with Grilled Pork Belly, Dinuguan Fondue with rice and dessert Fried Suman, Mangga, and Chocnut😍😍😍
Filipino staples with a twist. Quirky interiors are attractive to the Instagramming crowd. We tried the sinigang paella and the kare-kare paella and found it interesting, but not something we'd crave for.
I thought they were kinda pricy but when I saw the serving, it was so many. Haha we were four pax and none of us even finished our orders because it was many and heavy but they were really delicious.
And the staffs were really amazing! Our waiter was really friendly and sweet and very accommodating. Definitely going back!!!
Everything here is great. You should try their Paella Negra with Calamares, Paella Valenciana with Tempura and the ever famous Fried Suman, Mangga & Chocnut👅👍🏻
Went here with a friend from the states whom I haven’t saw for a year and a half. I ordered the Alabang Fried Prok Chop, honestly it doesn’t taste that good. It tastes a bit raw and not really to die for, the rice was good to be fair and the attendants were nice and accommodating. The chicken (not sure if it’s inasal) that my friend ordered, however, was good. The loaction has poor mobile signal reception
The ambience was okay.
Good food. Big serving. Very creative in terms of concept. Love the ambiance and atmosphere. Staff are friendly and approachable. Downside is they don't accept credit/debit card.
Neil's Kitchen is one of our favorite restaurant. Food never fails. An order is served in big portions so you can share it. In our recent dine in, I suggest that they add a little flavor to the black palabok because it's kind of bland that time. By thr way, I hope that they'll be able to accept credit card alreadt.
Loved their boneless chicken BBQ, tapa and spaghetti. Generous serving, good for 2 people. Great ambiance and good service. Staffs are attentive
We ordered paella valenciana, fresh lumpia in cilantro wrap, pad thai, chicken bbq, inihaw na liempo, fried chicken, beef caldereta, fried suman and puto bumbong. The servings were big. The caldereta and the desserts were amongst the most favorites. We reserved the black room which was cozy and can comfortably seat 24 pax.
Their wait staff attended to all our needs and were all very courteous. ❤ would like to go back to try other dishes.
Serving of the viand can be shared by 2 or 3. I like their Grilled Chicken and Crispy Pork Dinuguan Fondue and Sinigang Rice with Grilled Pork. Staff are attentive. Place is simple yet clean. Would like to try their dessert next time.
If you would like to try Filipino dishes with a twist Neil’s Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. The place is very cozy and gives that homey vibe. Their version of Karekare is unique and taste very good. The appetizers are superb and worth a try.
It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth it.
Now I know what all the fuss is about.
Delicious food, very generous servings so that offsets the relatively higher sticker price compared to other places serving similar cuisine. Interesting combinations. Paella negra and calamari? Genius.
My only concerns?
- The BBQ pork belly was on the tough side - it could use a slightly thinner cut and a bit more fat for tenderness. Flavor? No issue at all. It was delicious, in fact.
- Not exactly senior friendly in terms of accessibility.
After having mass at a nearby chapel, we had brunch and celebrated Mother’s day. Good thing we went before 11 am as the place easily became full.
Ambiance - we were seated at the top floor. It was a bit warm.
Food - maybe pricey but it is good for 2 people. We ordered tokwa’t baboy as appetizer (vinegar dip is the highlight), grilled/bbq pork, bbq chicken, callos, aligue pasta, sinigang, ang caldereta.
It is not your usual dish; it is very flavorful. Meat is very tender.
Service - great! Two thumbs up!
I will be back again to try their other dish and the dessert....
It is not just a Filipino Cuisine.
It is a Filipino Cuisine with a Twist.
I am a Keto Girl. I am glad I was able to eat here.
I love the ambiance of the place too.
We had our party here. Ang ganda ng place! Ang sarap ng food, yung kahit busy kakachika pero mapapatigil ka to appreciate their food! Highly recommended!
Very cozy and super delicious food! Definitely will come back here together with my family and other friends. Kudos to you! God bless you always.
Their Alabang Style Fried Chicken comes in huge servings that one rice is not enough!
Service is quick and table seating is more organized compared to other restaurants even during crowded weekends.
Come to Neil’s if you like Filipino comfort food!
Today is a celebration of friendship! The first lady I met in our village when we moved to Alabang in 2010 just sold her house and said goodbye to her plans of retiring here. She and her husband are going back to the US.
For a fitting "fare well and see you there next year," we went to Neil's Kitchen. It's amazing that Neil Ramos does not have a formal culinary background. One thing sure, he knows flavor, how to mix, match and have it come alive in living color with familiarity and novelty. He started out as a caterer but his love for food, cooking, innovating and clamor from people who trusted his abilities led him to open his kitchen to the public at Westgate, Alabang.
The great thing about Neil's Kitchen (aside from the food) is the waitstaff. They make you feel you're important as they unobtrusively guide you thru the menu while making knowledgeable suggestions. Today is no different as we had Aaron handle our table.
There is a separate menu for zomato gold and we chose the crowd favorites; Sinigang Paella with Grilled Pork Belly (P395) and Bagoong Paella with Kare-kare (P395 and free with gold). From the regular menu, we got "Triple T" Tortang Talong Tower (P350) and my absolute favorite, Fried Suman, Mangga and ChocNut (P250), for dessert.
I super love the Sinigang Paella because all the sour notes you'll associate with sinigang is in the rice. Combine this with the smoky, crispy and charred bite-sized pieces of grilled liempo and the crunch of crispy kangkong and it's party-party!
The Kare-kare is rich with its peanut sauce enveloping morsels of tender beef and bits of tendon. So succulent it is, that when you mix in the bagoong flavored rice it's game over. No sauce or other seasoning needed.
The Triple T is some sort of homage to omurice. Instead of egg omelette wrapping rice, it's tortang talong encasing rice with beef, pork and shrimp. There's crabstick mayo on top to introduce another texture and taste dimension. If you want to be more traditional, there's a brushstroke of tomato ketchup to bring back childhood flavors.
The Fried Suman is a work of art. There is a cube of mango gelatin on top, that if you close your eyes, would taste and somehow feel like real mango that comes in a chunk of a block. Drizzled with coconut cream, crushed ChocNut and peanuts, it is the crowning glory to the tasty, sticky suman. I live for food like these. Bravo!
Awesome food and ambience, and Westgate at night is pretty charming too.
Tried out their Zomato Gold offers and though we were given a different menu (limited selections I guess?) the food we got were both awesome. My husband had chicken inasal with hainanese rice and i had calamari with paella negra. Delicious!
Service was good, the wait staff were all attentive and friendly.
I normally don't write reviews. However this place stands out. It is clean, friendly service. We ordered fried chicken w/ gravy rice and boneless chicken bbq w/ java rice and it's awesome and yummy.
This is a great place!
[GOLD]
The place was great! It was my first time trying the place and it definitely won’t be the last. Ambiance was kinda homey and chill.
I used the Zomato Gold 1+1 on Food. They have a separate menu for Gold customers, but hey I’m not complaining. We ordered the Bulalo and the BBQ Chicken, which was recommended by the server. Both were awesome! Serving size was a lot. The bulalo was garlicky (which I liked) and not that greasy. The chicken was served with java rice, atsara, and macaroni salad. Both tasted just right, not too salty, not too strong.
I’ll bring any of my foreign friends here for an authentic Filipino food!
Im from the North but once in a while I find time to visit Neil's Kitchen because of the Sinigang Paella Rice with pork belly! 👍👍👍👍 Definitely will be back here for more! 👌👌👌
A must visit place in Alabang. The place is good with the staffs taking care of you once you entered. Order their specials then see, smell and taste the food magic. 👍🏻
DOHC_Mark off for now!
Wow! Finally ate here at long last. Thanks in due to the zomato gold membership sale last Friday.
All I can say is, why did in God’s name . I took so long to eat at Neil’s kitchen. 😅
We celebrated our mom’s birthday here. Was skeptical at first since we almost eat Japanese or Chinese often when we eat out. Seldomly we as a family pick filipino themed restaurants.
Appetizers:
Tokwa and Seafood 10/10 👍🏼💪🏼
A must have for appetizers, Raving about the sauce and the kinilaw.
Main Dishes:
We had BBQ Chicken, BBQ Pork, Wagyu Beef Sigang, Adobo project, both Chicken and Porkchop of the south and the dinuguan.
Trust me when I say, all the food was worth it!
10/10
My mom is hard to please when dining out, but she definitely enjoyed her birthday celebration here.
Will we dine again? Were most definitely looking to be regulars hehehe 👍🏼💪🏼😁
Already dined in here twice and still getting same A+mazing service, delectable food and relaxing atmosphere
Their Sinigang Pork Paella is definitely a must-try ❤️
Consistently great and immediately one of the restaurants I would recommend when in Alabang! Price may be quite high but for me, it is worth it!
We've been here quite a few times so when I learned they have promo on Zomato Gold, we scheduled to eat here again and I decided to already write a review.
First off, the ambiance provides a very cozy feeling as it feels homey more than a restaurant. The place is a bit small though, which is a shame as most of the problem we encountered was actually waiting in a long queue. I think they're using the function room now though as an extension whenever there is no event.
The food is really the highlight! Presentation wise, it is immediately noticeable that it is high quality. The taste won't disappoint either, as the food gives you that classic taste while having their own signature twist on the dishes. My favorite is the Sinigang Paella but I think anything is fine.
If still having problems choosing from the menu, don't hesitate to ask the servers, as they are very friendly and helpful. It is easy to get their attention and many times, they also automatically refill your water before you even ask.
Price looks quite expensive, but a single order can probably feed two people unless they are really hungry. Even with the high price, the overall experience is worth it!
One of the must-tries I would recommend to eat here in Alabang!
Unique take on your favorite Filipino classics with quite a generous serving! I love how the place also makes you feel at home. They also such a friendly and accommodating staff. Definitely worth your money! Love the tokwa't baboy, paella negra w/ calamares, pinakbet salad and boneless chicken bbq w/ Java rice!
I used to have the impression that the place is pricey but with the 1+1 deal using Zomato Gold, I could say we had a really good value for our money. Serving size is generous, staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely coming back :)

Great Food, Great Big Servings, and Nice Service!!! The Boneless Chicken Bbq is really great with big servings to match. One of the south’s resto gems!
Been going to Neil’s for years and it never disappoints. On my last visit, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Sinigang for the first time and it’s as delicious as everything else we’ve tried there. Staples are the Tokwa’t Baboy and Sinigang Paella, finished off with the fried suman. Always a sure option for great food in the South! Please don’t ever change, Neil’s Kitchen ❤️
Tried this once with my family. I ordered the Alabang fried chicken. Super delicious. Big serving and I asked for sooo many gravy. It’s really worth your money 💪🏻
NEIL'S KITCHEN!!! One of my favorite restaurant in Alabang💛 All staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered Bagoong paella with Kare Kare, Sinigang paella with grilled pork belly and Alabang fried chicken. All of 'em are bomb af!💣👌
Forgot to take pictures because the food was amaaaazing. The best of alabang! I will happily pay toll fees and gas to eat here again! Thank you for sinigang paella

Neil’s Kitchen reimagines Filipino favorites, and gives it a new twist. We enjoyed the Paella variants and the dinuguan fondue. The interiors could be improved as the third floor was quite unplanned.
With a different perspective on food, Neil's Kitchen comes at it with a kick. Reasonable prices for generous servings as well as unique take on food as a whole, would definitely go back and try out the others in their menu!
This is definitely one of my go-to restaurant whenever I visit the South. I love the ambiance and their savoury dishes. They're best known for their paellas. We ordered Sinigang Paella and Bagoong Paella. Both are equally good to me. Choosing either of the two would just really depend whether you're in the mood for something sour or something salty.
We tried their bagoong paella with kare-kare and their Pad Thai (with mango?) and for dessert their fried suman, mangga with chocnut.
My father, although interest piqued with the different twists to Filipino cuisine, prefers his Filipino food made the traditional way. I, however, quite liked the Pad Thai. It was flavoursome and sour, had mangoes, and I loved it. The bagoong paella was good too, I liked how I could taste the peanuts in the kare-kare, but I had to request more bagoong as I could not taste it in the paella. My palette may be a bit salty.
The dessert was so-so. I would maybe have preferred a different one but my father and I both love our chocnut.
The ambiance is lovely. The staff were attentive. Loved the decors! I would suggest tho they find an easier way for seniors to dine as their stairs were hard on my father’s knees and I noticed a few elderly patrons having the same issue.
Overall, I enjoyed our lunch. I would def come back to try their other paella’s and perhaps a different dessert but maybe with a younger crew. Sorry dad. :D
Best place to be if you want to try Filipino food with a twist. Try their version of bulalo, dinuguan and chicken barbecue and top it all off with their suman with mango pudding. :)
Currently loving their Wagyu Beef Sinigang! Me and my husband also loved their Alabang Fried Chicken. This is our go-to place for comfort food.
charming rustic interiors, surprisingly huge portions at reasonable prices, great twist on many well-known filipino dishes. what an awesome dining experience!
Comfort food + big servings + great atmosphere make Neil's Kitchen perfect for gatherings with friends or family. They take typical Filipino meals and put their own spin on it.
Recommendations would include: Tokwa't Seafood, AA Batchoy, and Crab Fat Palabok.
We've only ever had 2 bad experiences from eating here: one, was when they served a spoiled Maja Blanca and the other was when we had the T-Bone Tapa and the tutong rice was just faaar too sweet - almost dessert like. These two bad experiences still don't over shadow all the great meals we've had in this place.
Neil’s Kitchen is one of the best if not the best casual Filipino restaurant there is.
I usually avoid Filipino restaurants as I’ve got my biases regarding dishes and how they should be prepared, however Neil’s Kitchen just pushed all the right buttons.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
• Tokwa’t Seafood : Yeah, you’d opt for the baboy for the umami but, trust me, they’ve done a fantastic job with the seafood. It’ll make you question why this isn’t being done at every other Filipino restaurant.
• Wagyu Sinigang : Fantastic. It’s deconstructed on a large bowl with the star of the dish, Wagyu beef, is bountiful in the center. I love the sinigang soup, it was sour to my liking and of a thick consistency. It is recommended not to pour all the soup on the bowl of rice and sinigang elements as the soup may be too sour for folks who don’t like their sinigang on the very sour side.
• Pork and Chicken Diniguan : chopped pork and chicken is served separately from the diniguan. Well cooked meats with a well-balanced flavorful diniguan. It warrants extra rice.

💲 Price : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For the serving sizes and the quality of the food and service, the price is more than justified
👅 Taste : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s elevated Filipino food with well-thought-out recipe innovation and presentation. Suffice to say my taste buds were elated.
🍽 Place : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s about 75 seating capacity so I can imagine it gets packed during busy service hours. Either come early or make a reservation. Lovely homey ambiance, not stiff and just lets you relax and enjoy a meal with family or friends.
👩🏻🍳 Staff : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They are absolute polite and hospitable gems. Our needs were attended to swiftly so there was no long waiting for requests an such.
⚜️ Zomato Gold : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They had a 1+1 food perk which I loved. The food selection ranged from appetizers, mains, to desserts. They’ll hand you out a separate menu wherein the Gold menu items are listed. They did not skimp and leave out the expensive and good food items. You’ll still see their best sellers, such as the wagyu sinigang, so good.
Experience great service, nice fine dining restaurant, food was so excellent though it was kinda pricey but it was worth it, the place was very spacious and staff were all friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back again in this restaurant.
In these modern days of ours, most people do not only look for quality foods. Some are up to instagrammable dining experience. Here in Neil’s kitchen it’s like hitting two birds with one stone. Quality was a notch and the quantity was surprisingly hefty plus you get to go around and have your photos taken for a memorable picturesque dining experience. Love their concept which is to dine and shoot. 🧡
I love how Neil's Kitchen originated. I got a chance to meet Chef Neil himswelf and was able to indulge us on how the business started and grew from its humble beginnings. They started as a family business focusing on catering services. It eventually grew because of the love of patrons on their family homegrown food/menu. You can also feel the homey and cozy ambiance of the place when you visit. Make sure to try their desserts!
This is the best liempo I've ever had!! I swear the sauce they used to marinate the pork is totally the bomb! The taste is spread across the whole pork from skin to the fats to its meat. I also loved their sinigang rice it's very unique and delicious as well. Looking forward to visit Filinvest for this!
I tried their food on the recent Mercato x Zomato: Fest of the Best event last Sunday. Even though the menu was limited that time and I don't really buy rice meals on Mercato/Banchetto/food parks, I didn't hesitate to try their food.
I tried their Sinigang Paella with Crispy Pork Belly. Each piece is a winner! The sinigang paella has that sour kick while maintaining a not-so-sticky rice dish paella. The pork belly was the bomb. Even if the photoshoot took longer, the pork belly remained crispy and tender. It also has that taste (I can't clearly explain, but I love it). It was distinct. I also like how they put a crispy and flavored kangkong leaf at the top of the dish.
The staff told me that they're going to have a branch in Glorietta sooner. I'm as excited as they are.
It's my birthday! So my familydecided to eat somewhere new. I suggested Neil's Kitchen since I always pass by it when I go to Westgate Alabang but never had the chance to try it. I admire their interior, it's creative and unique. (The walls at their staircase reminds of Alice In Wonderland) We ordered two different chicken dishes. (We're chicken lovers, and we only go back to a restaurant if their chicken is good) AND IT IS!! Their food if kinda pricey but totally worth it! On a side note, their staff is also very accomodating and friendly. Would definitely come back and even try their other dishes.
One of my favorite restaurants in the south (Actually THE best restaurant in the South)! Food is SUPERB!!! Interior design is minimalist (love their staircase)
I guess I already know why most of reviewers here in Zomato didn't hesitate to give a high rating on Neil's. One thing's for sure is that it's because of their very attentive crews. Just like my partner told me, everyone is soooo attentive but not in a way that you'd feel bothered by it. It's nice that they are so attentive about your needs. Very good service, indeed. Second, food was so fantastic. I really love their food although it tasted salty later on. Will really come back to try something else in their menu. Happy to find a very comfy restau in Westgate. :)
Very recommended resto here in Alabang. Food here are the best and that's the reason for coming back again and again. I've been here 2x with my wife and other is with my office mate. The cost of food is pricey but it is complemented with delicious food. One comment is that, It will be hard for PWD's with foot/leg conditions to get here because it is located in 2nd floor only and you need to use the stairs.
I highly recommend Niel’s Kitchen! I love everything about them hehe delicious food, cozy ambiance, and friendly personnel ❤️❤️❤️ try their bestsellers! Sinigang paella and adobo project 😋

Value for money : 4/5
Food: 4/5
Location/ambiance: 4.5/5
I went here for post bday catch up with my friend and son. We ordered the kare kare paella (if im not mistaken) and the fried chicken gravy rice. It may look that servings are very small but do not be deceived. We had a hard time eating all that we ordered. Aside from the paella, we ordered the palabok too! It has an aligue in the sauce. Beware esp to those who have hypertension or allergy. You wont need bagoong for kare-kare though, its mixed already with the rice. Food are instagrammable as well as the extension bookstore.
This will always be our favorite (especially for family gathering). Creativity is well placed! Ambiance is okay. Food are all superb especially my one and only sinigang paella!!!
This place is super nice! The moment you step inside and walk up the stairs, you feel a sense of comfort and the urge to eat lots of food! Haha! But seriously, the reviews are true. We ordered Tortang talong tower with rice stuffed inside, Sinigang paella with grilled pork belly, and chicken inasal with hainanese rice. All dishes were so good!! My favorite was the sinigang paella. Us pinoys love moxing our soup with our rice. And the paella rice really tasted like sinigang broth. The contrast of flavors from the rice and charred pork is so good. I rarely go to the south, but when I do, I will surely go back to this place.
Love this place! Food are really good. The ambience is perfect.. love the writings on the wall. The small library awakens the bookworm in me. 🤓The staff are really nice and attentive. Kudos!
Food are really good. Huge servings! What we have tried so far: Calamares, Tokwa't Baboy, Sinigang Paella, Bagoong Paella, Menudo Mania, Alabang Fried Chicken, Pinakbet Salad, Pork Dinuguan, Suman, Puto Bumbong and Maja.... all of which are so yummy!
Service was also good. They were very accommodating and polite. They didn't mind when it took us ages to order.
Superb dining experience. Highly recommended! Would definitely be back for more!
It's my second time to try Neil's Kitchen at Westgate Alabang, what I really love about this place is their unique design & ambiance.
I remember I tried Neil's Kitchen way back 2015, and it was their soft opening I guess they only offered a few selections on their Menu but needless to say It was really really good (I fell inlove w their Sinigang Paella 😍) & 3yrs after I tried it again and I was surprised cos their menu had a lot of new selections they really improved in the past years. Tho it's a bit pricey but trust me guys it's really worth the try. The food is really good, and yung serving is madami.
PS: Yung Crispy Dinuguan nila mejo puro taba ng baboy ung sinerve, i talked w the server and she told me na ganun daw talaga ang sineserve nila.
Overall, I really love this place & will definitely bring my friends here 👌🏻
We had a really superb dining experience at Neil’s Kitchen.
Everything we ordered was excellent - from the plating, to the taste, to the ambiance, and the service.
This restaurant is highly recommended and I would be back again.
Neil’s was our caterer during our Wedding day and from our food tasting to our couple dinner during the wedding was top notch. Feedback from our guests too we a-ok. They enjoyed and said the food we picked was a great choice. Other than out event, the food was something to remember too. The staff during our food tasting and lunch were courteous and attentive, which gives the customer a sense of importance. Good service and good food. 👌🏼
Deconstructed Filipino meals are served in here. This establishment has truly elevated Filipino cuisine in its own way. From their appetizers to their desserts, Neil's Kitchen would definitely blow your mind. Anything you order from them is something you won't regret. Even their house made drinks are worth trying for. Every inch of their first and second floor are well-decorated; however, the third well is plain and dimly lit. If you're going to choose a seat, go for the second floor.
Great place to dine in. The interiors are instagrammable, as well as their platings. They have BIG servings that make their prices really affordable. My husband loved the Grilled Chicken and Crispy Pork Dinuguan. I love their Adobong Pusit. My kids love their Carbonara. And their Puto Bubong is the best. We really love it.
The place is so nice. Very artsy interiors. "Instagrammable" restaurant with delicious foods. Staff are very accommodating as well. The have generous servings of food. Love their bbq pork belly!
I have tried Neil's Kitchen before but it was years back! We were recently invited to a baptism and the celebration was held at this venue.
I was surprised at how big the place has become! It was still as packed as ever. They served the hits for the celebration and everything was delicious. Standouts were: 1) the boneless chicken barbacue-- always a crowd pleaser, 2) beef in creamy mushroom sauce-- super tender beef, 3) Angus roast beef-- perfectly seasoned and tender. I love their fried suman, mangga and chocnut as usual-- such a festive dessert! It was my first time to try the puto bumbong with buco jelly and toasted coconut-- so good! Another great dessert option, especially for people who love puto bumbong. Interesting and novel interpretation of a classic.
I felt that the waiters weren't organized during the event. Not sure, but it felt like it was undermanned. The 3rd floor was also very hot (noontime in summer), the AC was no match for the heat. The bathroom was left dirty with no running water (at the tail end of the event)-- we used the 2nd floor bathroom. No napkins on the tables-- you had to ask for them. I wished the service was as good as the food.
The ambience was very fitting for a baptism or even a despedida de soltera. 😊
Long overdue review. We love trying out different restos on weekends, but Neil’s Kitchen will always be our fool proof option when we can’t think of anything else. Everything on the menu has been amazing. I’d like to particularly highlight their Sinigang Paella with the grilled Pork and Kare kare. Really really good. Guaranteed food coma! 😂
FOOD: We ordered the Paella Negra w Calamari and Crab Fat Carbonara: Two dishes for three girls. The waitress told us that each order is good for 2-3 persons, and turns out, we weren’t able to finish all! The food is great, though! It’s savory and tasty. I personally loved the crispy calamari and its sour dip 💕
PLACE: The place is fancy and unique: The stairs leading to the restaurant is ornated with antique chairs and even a bike, all of which are fixated on the walls. The place is well-lit and cozy, even instagram worthy, I must say.
ACCOMMODATION: The waiters are polite and quite attentive. They didn’t even mind us taking our time ordering
Will go back here w the boyf ❤️
Went there last night to have a simple dinner for my husband's birthday. I expect too much because of the reviews I have read. The staff didn't bother to ask if we're celebrating something and I know they heard us singing birthday song. I expect a simple compliment cake or a greeting from them.
about the food, we liked the kare kare and the tokwat baboy, the fried porkchop and gravy has an ordinary taste. Normally my picky eater son like fried food such as chicken and porkchop but he didn't finish the porkchop.
We also liked the puto bumbong.
Went here twice already with my boyfriend (February and May 2016 and hopefully our third would be this Valentine’s day). Ordered their best sellers; Sinigang na Paella with Grilled Pork Belly, Barbecue Pork Belly with Java Rice, Boneless Chicken Barbecue with Java Rice, and Beach House Nachos😋😋😋 Every food is worth our money. We get what we pay for. Their servings per meal are already good for 2 persons (but if you’re both hungry, sharing isn’t a good idea LOL) The place is really nice, even the interiors, most especially the staircase.
We love to be back here because their food is like no other. Everything’s with a twist! (idk what you call the leaves on the side but it’s really yummy! Wish they have a separate order for that alone 😉😋) We’ll be back here soon ❤️ @neil
I got invited from my Friend's cousin's birthday and twas a buffet party here at Neil's Kitchen the food was great especially I have tried there boneless chicken barbeque and there creamy beef mushroom was superb. I really would come back again to eat here. Also the event place was cozy too. The ambiance was really great I love the set up they made. Rita Emeri Pulhin
The only thing I hate here is they don't have meals that have small serving. Their good for 1 meals is really good for two people or 1 with a big tummy.
We only eat here whenever we are really really really hungry so the food are not wasted.
I've been hearing Neil's Kitchen a lot, with all its hype and positive feedbacks. And now I had the chance to try it or myself. Did it live up to the hype?
As for the interior, the place oozes with a cozy and laidback vibe. I just love how the decors all contribute to the overall feel of the place. The ambient light seeping through the curtained window is just amazing.
The service was also commendable. I love how the staff was very accommodating. They also had the initiative to fill our glasses when about to be empty.
We ordered Sinigang Paella, Bagoong Paella with Kare-kare, Grilled Chicken and Crispy Pork Dinuguan Fondue as our main dish. For starters, we had the Beach House Nachos Grande. The food was topnotch! It was presented differently as compared to the typical restaursants. It was truly innovative.
Sinigang Paella: a different take on my favorite dish. Though I still prefer the usual sinigang with its soupy glory, this version is something worth trying! It tasted the same even without the soup. No regrets in trying this one.
Bagoong Paella: also one of my favorites. I love its presentation, and the taste of Kare-kare is really prominent. The consistency was perfect --- thick and creamy.
Dinuguan Fondue: it made me in awe! I just love how the dinuguan was separated from the meat. Its like dipping the crunchy yet chewy meat in a dinuguan dip. What an experience!
I highly recommend this to people, whether a southerner or otherwise. No wonder why this place is so popular. Indeed, imo, they have lived up to the hype!
