Reviews Dapo At Tisa

Long wait for the food is worth it. Best tortang talong ever! I even loved their Sinigang na Salmon Belly and Inihaw na Liempo.
Ambience and parking are okay too.

Though mabagal yun service nila, guarantee naman masarap ang food nila. Must try ang sinigang na lechon at ang seafood paella. Hindi ko na napicturan sa sobrang gutom ko pero babalik ako dito ng di masyadong gutom para may pic. Ambiance and parking are ok too. Meron din waiting area for food panda and grab food rider. No service charge pero ikaw na mismo magbibigay ng tip sa sarap at sa bait ng mga staff. Pati manager visible tumutulong sa staff nila.

The long wait for the food to be served is worth the wait! Food is so good and also very affordable. Will definitely go back! Perfect for family lunch/dinner.

Afforsable Filipino Cuisine. Crispy pata is a must try. Though not for the weak of heart, their chicharong bulaklak ia the best. To feel a little less guilty, try to order their sizzling tofu.

It is a very homey experience, it’s like eating inside your own house to the next level. Food are very delicious specially the baked salmon.
Some staff are attentive.
Parking though is an issue.

Found in Marikina City, Dapo at Tisa welcomes you in an old house style of resto.

The ambiance of the place is very homey. The price of the food is affordable as well. There were a number of best sellers to choose from.

Their staff are nice and attentive to our requests. This is a good place for family gatherings. Their resto gets quite a bit crowded at dinner time. Shows that they really have quality food to offer. 👍

I've been here a few times since it's just a walking distance from home. The ambiance is great because you can feel a Filipino home. Plus their menu are mostly Filipino cuisine. I love their sisig, lengua and bangus.

Rice: Dapo’s Fried rice (Yangchow)
Seafood: Calamari with aioli and honey mustard sauce
Pork: Sinigang na Lechon Baboy

My fiancé and I went here for dinner. Food was affordable, delicious and has a big serving! Their rice is good for 4 people. Calamari was okay, it’s a bit sweet but the sauce compliments it. The Sinigang was good; lots of veggies and it’s good for 2 or 3 persons plus it’s 250+ only.

We also got the chance to try two of their beverages: Avocado Shake; it’s made of ice cream and they also have a selection of the Bulisar tea. The one we had was Ginger Tea and it was very mild and calming.

All in all it was a great experience for us and especially to our tummies!

We will definitely come back! 😊

Love Filipino food? On a budget? Want sinigang and lechon? How about lechon sinigang? Well, Dapo at Tisa’s got it and they got it gooood!!

Had Mom’s birthday dinner here one night last August due to my Dad raving about it. (He had a lunch thing with his balikbayan cousins there and they all loved it)

All their dishes are reasonably priced and the serving’s really good for 2-3 pax. The food’s good. Too good, in fact one can rival it with the dishes that you usually get on high end Filipino Restaus but for a really cheaper price!

The place is usually packed during lunch and dinner but definitely worth the wait. Must try if you’re dropping by Lilac, Marikina!

Been here a few times. Nothing fancy, just classic home-style cooking, some with a little bit of reinvention. Nothing I've not seen somewhere else. Everything is good because it's classic Filipino fare. All the tastes are familiar and comforting. Can't complain. Servings are generous. Parking is limited, though. There were a few times my family and I had wanted to eat here but couldn't because there wasn't anywhere to park. That's probably a good indication of how popular the place is and how good their regulars rate the place. Might be an indication, too, that there's just not enough parking. Place is quite popular to local diners. Wouldn't be surprised if foodies from other places wanting to try the whole Lilac strip would want to try it here as well.

Very accommodating staff! Sa parking palang, accommodating na. 😂

Personal favorites (we always order these every time):

1.) Sigarilyas in Gata
2.) Chicharong Bulaklak
3.) Beef Kare-kare
4.) Lechon Macau

Very spacious place, and a plus for the separated room/ area for small gatherings. 👍

If you haven't tried Dapo at Tisa, I suggest you run and visit it as soon as you can!

Next to Rekado (Marikina Branch that unfortunately had closed permanently), this is my favorite in Marikina.

We had already dined here a couple of times, the latest of which was on Mothers' Day. It has never failed us so far, you can not beat the price, the serving and quality. The food that we've tried here are pretty much the bestsellers, and my favorites were the Kare-Kare and Sizzling Tofu. Geez! I could eat the Sizzling Tofu all day! It was so creamy and was simply melting in your mouth.

It is easy to go overboard when ordering as they have a lot of choices but the prices are really good, we rarely ever go over 2k even when we're a big group. The only time we had spent more than a couple of thousands was during my niece's gender reveal, and my brother had booked the place then. There was no reservation fee, and the minimum package was 3k consumable. Even then, we brought home a few bags of food just to hit the 3k.

Try doing that with a mainstream restaurant. ;)

Be warned though that if you plan to visit the place on holidays or occasions, you might need to come in really early. The place is quite small, which is part of its beauty, and could accommodate only around 50 to 70 heads. Dapo at Tisa had also garnered quite a following from recent times which explains the long queues, and do not accept reservations except if you plan to book the whole place or one of the rooms.

Loved the homey feel of the place. Their staff are friendly and attentive. Food definitely tastes great. Pork sisig was flavorful. Kare kare was tender. Price was on point too! Cant wait to come back!

First time to eat in this place. First stop, the place has good overall design. Plenty of space between tables. Has a big function room and wash area and comfort are both clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We order the package 3 since we were a big group. I have to say i was impressed with the taste of their food. Sizzling tofu, pusit, crispy pata are all well recommended. Overall, it was a great experience for me. Highly recommended to friends and area meetings like business review and RTD’s. Looking forward to eating again at this place. Cheers!

The foods are great! Especially the crispy pata, shanghai rolls, pork sisig, sinigang na letchong baboy, buffalo wings, and kare kare! 😍 We went on my mom's birthday and mine. The place is good. The staffs are friendly and great. The foods are delicious and worth to pay for! And I assure you that you'll love this place! ❤

Una sa lahat masarap ang crispy pata dito! Crispy, malaman at malasa. 😊

At sympre very tender ang karne. 😊

We always come back to this restaurant because it is an alternative to the usual Pinoy restos we go to when we crave for Pinoy food.
When we come over, we ALWAYS get tofu sisig. It is one of the best dishes that they offer there. We come back to this resto every now and then because aside from the fact that it is near our house, we enjoy the taste of the dishes that they serve. Their staff are also pretty good in attending to customers so that's another plus!

Ambience - 4
The facade in the evening looks like a big bungalow house having a dinner party. Once you enter, you will see several dining tables meant for each family or party to dine. It gives the feeling of your own house with wait staff passing through the entire dining area serving food or taking orders. As we went there on a busy Saturday night, the restroom was not kept clean. Maybe it was because of the number of customers at that time. Hopefully they will work on it in the future to ensure that they maintain cleanliness all the time.

Food - 5
We ordered sizzling tofu, pakbet, grilled squid and Dapo’s Secret. Everything tasted great! Especially the tofu and pakbet! It felt like my mom was their cook. It was truly a home cooked meal! After each spoonful, you will hear me say, “ang sarap!” Will definitely come back here to try more of their dishes and order Dapo’s Secret some more. Hehe.

Value for Money - 5
Each serving is good for 2-3 persons so it is definitely perfect for families or big groups or a couple who eat a lot!

We came in around 630pm. No parking space available. Had to park on the establishment beside the area. Place was full but there was still an available table for 2. We were seated.

Ordered their chicken barbecue and kare kare, and i would say that it was yummy. Good food. I did try their green mango shake, but i was not a fan of it. I had tasted better green mango shakes. Serving time for food was not fast.. Was already hungry when the food came and we already had a lot to talk about while waiting for our dinner. The pricing for the food was good.

Staff were friendly. We were seated near the bar area. The ambience was very homy and really has that Filipino feel.

Please improve on your serving time. Other than that, our visit was good.

Heard so much about Dapo at Tisa that I decided to give it a try. And boy, I was not disappointed. Food is great. We ordered a table full (3 tables, to be exact) of Filipino dishes and they were all GOOD! 😋 They were all tasty and well seasoned. I had a hard time choosing which one to concentrate on, our group ended up consuming 6 orders of rice! Yum! Love restos that serve sago!😉

A few days on vacation in Manila and I was still craving for delicious Filipino food, so my friend decided on taking me to one of the restos along Lilac Street in Marikina for dinner. Unlike most establishments in the area, Dapo at Tisa has parking spaces, which I liked.

This is a really nice and cozy place for get-togethers and family lunches. The ambiance is very homey. As for the food, it’s very satisfactory.

I’d recommend the following food to be no-fail choices:

- Inihaw na pusit (to manage expectations, it doesn’t have stuffings but it has a nice bbq sauce drizzled on top)
- Crispy pata (well fried)
- Pancit Guisado (yaaast! A really good stir-fried canton)
- Garlic rice (yes, it’s good)

We celebrated my auntie’s birthday dinner here as a family (8 people). There are a lot of groups waiting but there are crews who accommodated our orders so that by the time we got to a table, our food would be served immediately. There’s a separated room inside that is perfectly fit for a large family.
The food they serve, especially in meals, comes in good amount of servings and may take 3-4 people. They all taste good especially their Lechon meals.

Sizzling Tofu
Dapo's Bulalo
Lechon Macau
Avocado Ice cream
Sizzling Salmon Belly

Perfect 5 for everything we ordered. 😊😊 Unlike in other resto that serves bulalo with lots of pechay, this one has lots of meat. They said that they are using an imported kind of beef. The tofu and the salmon belly is a must try as well.

Staff: Super asikaso and they answer all our queries about the food and their function rooms. One of the staff even remembered that our companion is allergic to shrimp and immediately told us that the Sinantol has bits of it. And that was when we're already on our way out. (Some of the restos wouldn't care)

Price: We were quiet surprised that everything was only P1200! We ordered another 4 for take out just to maximize our budget of 2k.

Place: Perfect for a family gathering and catch up with friends.

I celebrated my birthday at Dapo at Tisa with my friends and what a great decision that was!
Coming from QC, waze took us to side streets as Lilac street was a bit full that night. Getting to Dapo, i was happy to see that our table has been prepared with the food that i pre ordered as 4 of us made it earlier there. The servers were all courteous and accommodating, despite the fact that they were so busy!
The food was excellent, all right in taste - not salty, not bland, the seafoods were all fresh. And the price is surprisingly affordable, considering the quality of food and service. The local coffee gives the perfect end to a wonderful experience.

Food ordered:
Kare kare
Sinigang na salmon (quickest to order)
sinaing sa gata na tanigue
binukadkad na hito (2 big fishes per order)
Ginisang santol
sizzling pusit ala pobre (best i ve tasted!)
Baked cheesy salmon

My husband and I usually go on a short lunch date here since it's near plus the food is great. We love their crispy pancit, pork spareribs, and pork binagoongan. Their cheesecake is good too. Their sago't gulaman is a waste of money though. The food stands in the street have better sago. 😅

My sister and I were looking for a new place to eat at Lilac when we saw this well-lighted, converted mid-century house beckoning us to come in. As there seemed to be a lot of people, mostly families coming in, we decided to try it out.

And we were not disappointed. Dapo at Tisa serves Filipino food, and they do it well. We ordered Pinakbet and Inihaw na Pusit. Because we’re Ilocanas, we’re very particular about our pinakbet and Dapo and Tisa’s version did it justice. The veggies were crunchy, it was flavored with alamang and the gisang baboy was very crispy. Yey!

The Inihaw na Pusit was also done well. It was fresh, not overcooked, and just lightly brushed with a soy-sweet sauce. Perfect with soy and kalamansi and rice.

We’ll definitely be back to try out their other dishes.

Food quality is good. I like the crispy pancit(?)or its crispy noodles (?) plus their version of calamares is supeeeeerb. We ordered it 4 times during the dinner, yes that good! 😂😂😂
People here are so nice, from the servers and even the guy who attened us in the parking. Considering the fact that they dont have service charge.
So guys please dont forget to tip them!

Been constantly visiting this restaurant and each visit was definitely worth it. Good amount of serving and every time I try something new from the menu, it doesn't disappoint. 😊

Amazing service and attentive staff! I like it when the staff are smiling. 😀

The interiors were okay. Not very remarkable cos I think "homey" is what they're aiming for. But it's warm and inviting. And clean! One of important items I check when I dine. 😆

One of the best Filipino restaurants to try out if you swing by Marikina. 💕

Not the first time to dine at this restau because we just can't help but come back to it. This was maybe our fifth time. Every dish so far was perfect. My favorite is their Chicken Pastel. My buddy preferred to have calamansi with this Baked Cheesy Salmon.

My brother and I celebrated our birthday here. Decided to book a table earlier during the day since every time we pass by this restaurant, it always seems jam-packed. Guess what, we didn't have regrets booking this restaurant! Told them through phone that we have a shih tzu with us so if they could reserve us a seat outside. Turns out they only have one table outside 😂 but still good though since they provided us a fan.

The service was great, the staffs were attentive. The park attendant was kind too!
The place was nice from the outside. Although next time I hope to explore the interior.

The food was superb and the price was worth it! Affordable!

We had the following:
Shanghai Rolls 🌟🌟🌟
Sweet and Sour Pork 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Crispy Binukadkad na Tilapia 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Chopsuey 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Dapo Fried Rice (Yangchow)
Sizzling tofu 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Sinantol 🌟🌟🌟

Recommended and definitely coming back!

My new go-to Pinoy food restaurant! We ordered the Pritchon for appetizer, Pork Binagoongan and Crispy Binukadkad na Hito for our main. Although the place was busy our food arrived after not so long a wait. The hito was nice and crispy and rhe pork binagoongan was very tasty and came with a surprise steamed talong underneath. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable with their dishes. Even the parking attendant was pleasant.

Can't wait to try their other dishes. Keep this up!

Really worth it food, and all of us who visited agree. My mom can't stop raving about the crispy pansit whose flavor was just really balanced well. My dad loved the sinigang na lechon. And my uncle even praised the yangchow rice, describing it as really good rice.
The real steal would be the crispy pata, which was tender in the inside, crispy on the outside.
And the price? We were 6 and only had a bill just over 2K. The mood was bright and the place had good interiors.

Dapo at Tisa is another sprouting new resto in Lilac Street that exudes a comfortable and homey atmosphere. Innate to Filipino hospitality, we were warmly greeted and welcomed by the efficient and courteous service staff.

The menu offers a variety of Filipino food favorites. Choices were a bit overwhelming but we finally decided to try the Sinigang Na Lechon Baboy (with 2 steaming cups of rice) and we liked it. Truly satisfying! Serving was good for 3-4 people and price was reasonable.
The place was cool and clean and was well-decorated and extra rooms were available to celebrate special occasions and important functions. There's no doubt we would be back to share the pleasurable dining experience with family and friends.

Went here with the family to grab some dinner. The parking in the area is limited so patience in looking is a must. The place is really nice and well lit.

Ordered the Tilapia sa Gata (tastes good), Bulalo (could use some onions and pepper), and Pork Sisig (spot on). Serving is enough for groups of 3. Oh, don't forget to try their sago't gulaman.

They are kinda new and the staff really needs to improve a little on their service. The price is reasonable. If you're into Filipino food, you can try this one out. Recommended for family dinners or lunches.

Tried their servings of Bulalo Steak (was really tender and tasty), Sago't Gulaman (not your average sago't gulaman), and a platter of plain rice. The price and the amount of servings, on the other hand, were reasonable.

I like this new resto in lilac. It has a good ambiance when you enter the establishment. It serves pinoy dishes. Must try: roast beef! A good dessert at the end is the avocado icecream. i wish to comeback to try other viands in the menu. This resto is recommendable.
