Ate here on a Sunday night. Ordered chicken quesadillas, enchiladas, and the grilled corn. Recommend the quesadilla and grilled corn (though it was 120 for corn with cheese). Very similar taste to a popular Fil-Mex chain... Place exceeded my expectations. Catch though is that the bathroom facilities weren’t good.
The best churros in town. Pesto tortizza, honey garlic and garlic parmesan wings are also a must try!!!
Every dish we ordered was well presented and delicious. I love their pizzas.
Their ice creams seem homemade. Price was very acceptable. I will be back to try their other dish.
The place was very appropriate to the concept. Highly recommended!
Affordable place to grab a couple of drinks and probably a light meal with friends. Highlight would be their beef quasadilla (sadly, I wasn’t able to take a photo) and their nachos 🤤

First time namin dito and it exceeded our expectations. Good for sharing halos lahat nang inorder namin. Thank you so much sa mga friendly staffs, we enjoyed the food so much :)
One will feel the mexican vibe as soon as you enter the restaurant. Loved their menu, though I only tried their Chimichangas and Beef Taco for take out because we were in a hurry. Flavor was there. Staff were pleasant.
Would like to go back there to try other offerings.
One of the best Mexican Restau I’ve been to.
It has the total look, feel & taste of Mexico (though I’ve never been there). They have a 3-5 parking space in front of the store.
Everything is just nice.
The food is superb! Didn’t have to wait for too long to get served. And every dish we ordered was mui delicioso! Comes in generous serving.
The price is just right and very affordable.

We went with 2 kids in tow. And the staff were very patient & kind with the kids shouting & running around.
TIP: if you’re not fond of spicy food better ask the waitress. This is one thing I missed when I ordered. Especially when esting with kids.
The husbands enjoyed the beer as they find it very cheap.
We will definitley come back to try their other menu.

Dining here was not planned because we were supposed to dine in at Forget Me Not. But due to some inconvenieces, we decided to dine here and we were happy that we did. 😊
When we checked the menu, the price was very affordable. That's why we were quite surprised with how the food were presented and tasted. We ordered Buffalo Wings (P190), Hunchos Salad (180), Sizzling Tuna, Elote "grilled corn" and Cucumber Coolers. All were really good. Except for the sizzling Tuna that was too sweet for out taste.
The staff were also very friendly though at times were not very attentive. As for the ambiance, it elicits a homey vibe that goes along well with the mexican house music.
With that, I'll give them a 4 for now. But, will definitely dine here again. ☺
I loooove this restaurant! We ordered a bunch of stuff, and everything was perfect! Their prices are very friendly and they come in big servings! An order of chimichanga, gives you 2 rolls filled with generous amount of meat. Peri-Peri chicken was fall of the bone tender with an amazing sauce! Definitely going back!
My friends and I decided to have our quick reunion at Hunchos as we do not have to leave Marikina to taste South American cuisine.
We really love the elote. It is the corn on the cob with some "whatever-is-that-on-top" is so addicting.
The chicken peri peri is also very delicious. It was also served with corn and several sauces.
The quesadilla and tortizza--yes, tortizza which is the lovely union of pizza and tortilla, are both must-order.
The ambience is very Mexican especially the cut-outs at the window which reminded me of the movie Coco. The drawings are so colorful that my friend's little cutie loved to take her pictures here.
Kudos to the Hunchos team!
P.S. They also deliver. My sister ordered food here and still Hunchos did not disappoint us. Love the food.

At first, I hesistated if I'm going to buy food here. But damn, it has potential! I'm kind of picky with Mexican food, but this one got my YES! Place is Instagrammable and service is polite, hospitable and friendly. Definitley will go back here with my other friends!
One of my fave restaurants in the neighborhood 😊 I really like the colorful graffitis. Food is excellent, very affordable, and the staff are kind. The owner/s are also very hands-on because they assist the customers personally. Will definitely go back here again and again ❤️

This is my first time giving a written review. 😅
We ordered only 2 dishes: their tortizza & periperi chicken. The chicken was delicious, but the tortizza was the highlight of the night. Uh, no, scratch that— it's the highlight of my week! (and yes, it's only Tuesday)
Those 2 dishes plus rice for me & my dyowa costed only P520, and it was surely sulit 'cause we felt filled & satisfied after! Also, the place was very much IG-worthy.
We will surely go back to try their other dishes! 💯

I've been meaning to check out Huncho's for months but it was only one spontaneous evening that my mom and I tried it after seeing it again. I guess its fun-looking and inviting artsy Mexican exterior was the one that gracefully dragged us inside and made us crave for burrito the moment we walked in.
The place wasn't so crowded when we dined there, but seeing the other customers' tables made me realize that people who go there don't just eat one or two dishes. Most of the tables are full with mouthwatering dishes and upon seeing their menu, I understood exactly why. They have a really good selection of dishes that are affordable for its kind.
We ordered their beef burrito (because come on, why wont you?), chicken quesadilla, camarones, and my most favorite off their menu: Churros con Chocolate. I think we ordered for a little too much for just two people but each dish is worth each bite and price.
The staff were also fast, attentive, lively, and polite even when the restaurant was almost full of people.
This is a place worth coming back to and worth recommending for not only its quality of food but also for its price and service.
Me and my college friends held a get together here and we loved it. We orderes the buffalo wings, and its so tasty best paired on its dip. I really loved it! And also the baby back ribs and their peri peri chicken. Staff were very accomodating. Ambiance was nice perf for its mexican themed restau. One of the best in Lilac street.
It was already late when we got to Lilac, so the restaurant that we were supposed to eat at was already closed. It was a blessing in disguise, because we stumbled upon Hunchos instead. Their food was really good. I recommend ordering the Chili Rellenos. The owner and staff were really accommodating, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The place was clean and orderly. All in all, it was a great experience. We hope to visit again soon!
Their buffalo wings were flavorful while the baby back ribs were fall-off-the bone tender.
The wait staff were also polite, despite the fact that there were around 20 of us.

The place is artistically colorful. The ambiance alone is feast for the eyes. This is truly an awesome place to grab a meal or something to snack on when you are craving for mexican-style cuisine.
I love their thin crust mexican pizza. It was topped with generous amount of meat and no need to add seasoning or hot sauce because it is already tasty. The Elote (grilled corn) is served with 3 kinds of dip, it was good and not over grilled. The pumpkin soup is huge in serving but I find it bland, I need to add few salt and parmesan. I didn't like it because it was not creamy. Tried also their avocado shake and it was good, not too sweet. You'd have to visit this restaurant several times to try all the best-sellers.
Service was fast and the servers were very attentive and accommodating to us, I requested for a quick charge of my empty battery cellphone and one staff accompanied me with an umbrella going to the parking due to heavy rain. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food they serve. I will definitely come back to try their ribs and burritos.
My five year old loved her churros & cheese quesadilla while her Dad & I enjoyed the buffalo wings & our cold beer. It's a place that both the little ones & the big 'kids' would enjoy. Food was served hot and the place is warm & festive with their staff ready to serve with a smile. My 9 month old delighted in the colorful maracas. :)
I was just invited by the enticing lights on the outside. Hunchos, i would say is a place for Mexican food gala.
The yellow wall seems very inviting, plus the added wall murals. Muerte designs in the window gives you a look back on disney's Coco 🤗
Food is very good. The coriander garnish is all over the food, giving it a very Mexican flavorful taste. Their nachos is overloaded with toppings with of course my fave Jalapeno 🌶 The baby back ribs is so soft and without much of the bones. And to highlight our Mexican food crawl, Burrito is still in the top 😋
5 stars for the food, the taste, the service and the ambiance.

Hunchos was recommended by a Marikina resident friend. From the outside, I felt seeing the animated movie Coco come to life. Their interiors felt homey as shown by the different kinds of groups dining here - teens, families with toddlers, and students.
When we were looking at menu, we thought they only have small servings and felt they were pricey. We were surprised then that our orders were served in much bigger servings.
From how the place delivers itself, all the way to the food and service, this place is great! Menu is okay, as well as the price point of the food. The staff are also accomodating. My favorite thing about the place are the murals on the wall; definitely a good place to go to!
ambiance was great, it was homey at the same time you could feel the mexican vibe. Their Price was worth it, the food was delicious! and we were shocked with the servings since it was big for just the two of us. overall, i would love to come by this place again! i'm a sucker for good food and good value for money 😉

Looking for a new place to dine at Lilac St. in Marikina, I came across a restaurant which captured my eye and eventually my tummy. For a few months, I always pass by this restaurant but only got a chance to try it last month.
Hunchos restaurant in Lilac Marikina stands out from the rest with its colorful and vibrant exteriors. They specializes on Mexican cuisine.
The place is very vibrant, catchy and gives off that nice Mexican feels with its decors. I like that the place is very spacious and comfy. I love the Mexican ambiance and I think it's a nice place to chill and dine.
What we ordered:
Cheese Quesadilla (Php160)
- I love how cheesy their Cheese Quesadilla was. The dip is a perfect combi to the cheesy taste.
Hunchos Chicken
- The chicken was cooked well and I love how the burst of Mexican flavor in their chicken.
Shrimp Fajitas (Php315)
- The shrimp was cooked well and again, I love how flavorful the taste it.
Mexican Rice (Php25)
I had a nice dining experience at Hunchos and kudos to their staffs who were very accommodating and approachable. We had a very good dining experience here and the foods were superb! Some prices are out of our budget but I think it's worth a splurge. Overall, I would love to comeback again here to try their other dishes.
Food is great, especially when you're looking for a bit of Mexican to change things up. It's one of the better food stops along Lilac, and we'll definitely keep coming back.
I ordered chick pea soup and chili con carne. The soup was fantastic but the chili, I’ve had better. It wasn’t bad but I’ve tasted better. I felt like it lacked essential spices like chili, cumin, paprika and basil. I wanted bolder flavors but what I got was a toned down version of the Mexican chili I know. I appreciated the mix of sour cream though because it added a nice, different layer of taste. I wish the servings were larger too.

In terms of their food, it has an affordable price compared to other Mexican restaurants out there. Their serving is quite enough for the price and you won’t regret eating here at Hunchos.

I haven't ordered anything I didn't like yet and I've been here too many times since the first time my cousins and I discovered this place.
The staff and owner are nice, friendly, and accomodating.
