It's my first time to dine here and based on my experience i rate it 5 star. Let me share you why..
- Food is great. All our food orders are delicious. The Palabok ala Marita was my favorite(not the typical pinoy palabok). Food were also served fast.
-Staff were accomodating and friendly. Serving always comes with a smile specially the supervisors, jayson and i forgot the other one.
-Every corner of the resto is instragamable! If you are a millenial you would love this place i guaranteed.
I will definitely come back to dine again.
I have been wanting to check this place out since last year, and fortunately I was able to go here last night. And I was not frustrated that I decided to celebrate my post V day here.
First, the place really lived up to the photos I have seen, even better! It is not very crowded and was clean, properly lighted, good aesthetics, homey and comfy. And I must say I really loved their rest room!
Second, they have a wide array in their menu, not to mention that it won't cost you a fortune as it is also very delicious.
Third, they have attentive and very accomodating staff.
I hope Marita will not lose it's charm to be the ideal restaurant for date nights, family gatherings, or even night out with friends and officemates. Bon Appetit!
For the price of their breakfast buffet, it was so worth it! They have an omelette station, wide variety of desserts, unlimited brewed coffee & iced tea! One of their wait staff Yman, became our personal butler already just to ensure we are well-served!
Should change the name of palabok
Old school city meets modern structure in Marita Restaurant. It’s a relatively new establishment that doubles up as an events place as well.
I was joined by two foodie friends here yesterday, after a short stint in covering a nearby cafe. The interiors are unusual for the area, making it a sought after visit.
We shared two cakes, Chocolate Mousse, and Dark Chocolate Sansrival; both were impressive in presentation and taste. The latter had a nice synergy of chocolate and creamy butter.
Marita also has a make your own Picolo Ice Cream drink, the Avocado (Php 175) was light and fruity.
From beef tapa and garlic fried rice, pancakes, whole grain cereals, fruits and greens, to omelette cooked right in front of you, this place really has something to offer for the price of 299 pesos ($5) per head from 7 to 10 in the morning. Their free flowing brewed coffee deserves the real 5 star rating. Kudos to the management. Cons, eavesdropped that they don't honor senior citizen discount. Sigh.
Tried their bfast buffet. There are more selections than I expected for 300 Php. Hot choco is yummy. Staff is friendly. And they are open at 7am which is a plus. Will come back soon.
Food is great and affordable, servings are big, and the staff are extremely friendly! The place itself is cozy and great for taking photos. Parking is spacious and the surroundings are peaceful.

Food took so long. 15min promise and food took more than 30mins. If we didn't follow up, no one would have approached and we could have waited longer. Food was still good though. Gave complementary cake for the hassle.
I thought I have shared a review for this place a long time ago, but there's none yet...
Well, I think the place prides itself with its cozy and rustic theme...It may also be a good place for romantic dates...
In one of our dine-in experience here, having a big family dinner here was a huge relief, coz our food servers really attended to our orders extremely well...my kids running around seemed all well I supposed...
The food here is great...well at least those that we ordered, especially all their pastas and pizzas... here's what I remembered stood out...their kare-kare is one of the best I tasted...their lengua sits well on a creamy sauce, yummy...gamberi, excellent!...beef caldereta, i like that it's nutty-spicy, but kids won't like it I'm sure...
So I think this resto is one of the best I have dined in here in Marikina...you can try it for yourself, though

Marita Restaurant is a must try. 😊 Servings are enough to make your tummy full. Cakes are good. Not too sweet, good to eat for both children and adult. 😊👍🏻
It was a Sunday, and I took my family out for dinner. I found this restaurant on Zomato and decided to try it out.
They had very cute, modern interiors. Serving time was a bit slow, but it was okay. We ordered Paella, Crispy Pata, Caesar Salad, Wings, Kare-Kare and Lengua Pastel, and Caldereta. There were 7 of us dining BTW. Hehe :)
The prices were reasonable except maybe for the Kare-Kare which was served in a tiny iron cauldron. I liked the Caesar Salad and the Crispy Pata the most! Everything else tasted fine, but not exceptional.
The servers were attentive and friendly :)

My boyfriend and I had our Valentine’s lunch date here. Since we visited during lunchtime, we had the place almost to ourselves. The atmosphere was serene, peaceful and the interiors were very instagrammable. Their waiters and staff are also one of the friendliest and most accommodating that we have ever encountered.
We ordered their Lengua Pastel and Homemade Tagliatelle Ala Bolognese and they did not disappoint! Both were delicious although I do wish that the Bolognese had a larger serving size. The prices were worth it considering that you not only pay for the food but also for the elegant ambience.
After our very pleasant dining experience, Marita will surely be one of the restaurants that we’ll be returning to for our future dates.
Food was decent. Their version of angel hair palabok is very good, and so is their buffalo wings (the wings were too small though). I think their squid should improve, it wasn't just bland, it had no taste at all.
The interiors are very Instagram worthy though, and all the servers were pleasant and accomodating.
One of my work mate recommended this resto in Marikina. I was told that they're offering breakfast buffet on weekends. Curious about what it offers, I eent there after my shift. Their food are excellently cooked and are made from fine and fresh ingredients. Brownies and choco sans rival.are the bomb! I can't help but to keep on eating. Veggies are great! Eggs are cooked by the chefs upon request. Pancakes are good too. A must try. Will be back to try their other cuisine. Place is awesome and instagrammable.
Good food , the best ambiance. If you want the picture perfect place to eat choose Marita's their lasagna would be good for 2 light eaters or 1 very hungry person. Their shakes are average their cakes are dry but the sansrival is fine. They serve a huge variety of food, perfect for a big group with different likes.

Been here thrice, all to celebrate special occasions. Food is okay, some taste great like their chocolate lava cake, but some are not so, like their gamberi pasta (expectig gamberi to be olive-oil based, and not creamy like carbonara). Reasonably priced, and the place is very cozy. Service was okay too.
PLACE:
I find Marita's restaurant so cozy, romantic, yet it still has that homey feeling. At first look from outside the resto, you might find it quite expensive but its NOTTT! The interiors upon walking inside is quite posh. Place is definitely a must see.
FOOD:
Food was actually good. We ordered their pizza gamberi, meaty lasagna, salpicao (forgot to take pictures of it), buffalo wings (wasn't able to took a picture of it as well), and lava cale (I intentionally didn't took a photo of it since Iwasn't able to enjoy it that much)
Pizza Gamberi : It was good but I felt like I was quite deprived of Shrimps. It only has small tidbits of shrimps. I think it would be better if Shrimps weren't cut into tidbits so that we can get more of the Shrimp's taste. Nevertheless, pizza was not a bad choice after all. We just thought that it could have been better. 😋
Lasagna : OMG. The moment the lasagna was served, I drooled. It looks so good that the first thing came to my head is "I should definitely post this on my IG". After taking a shot of it, I immediately taste the lasagna and it was sooo good. Its so meaty and cheesy!! 😋
Salpicao : I forgot to take a picture of this but as far as I can remember the taste was just fine. Its neither good nor bad. The meat was quite tough also. And I'm the kind of person who wants my Salpicao to be soooo garlicky but this one lacks garlic for me. ☹️
Buffalo Wings : It was good. Worth trying but I think there are other restaurants in Marikina that serves better buffalo wings than this. 🤔
Lava Cake : Chocolate inside the molten cake is not gooey. The cake itself is quite mamon-ish type for me. Its not that bad but I just really have certain criteria for lava cakes.
SERVICE:
Staff were so accommodating and service was fast.
PRICE:
Prices are fair enough for the quality and quantity of the food as well as for the ambiance of the place.
VERDICT:
Did I enjoy it? - Yes
Will I recommend it? - Yes
Will I come back? - Maybe
Masarap ang food and medyo generous ang servings and super reasonable price. Ambiance is superb! Very Instagram worthy ang interior, love it! ❤️
Marikina has gotten popular as a foodie street with a lot of new restaurants opening here and there. In my last visit home, I got invited by friends from Team K to try out Marita Restaurant. I immediately said yes since I wanted my one-day-only stint in Manila to count. Ever since I started working in Cebu, every trip to Manila needed to include places I don't see there, and a worthy restaurant I can write about on |ooloo. This sure is one of them.
It has been raining that day, but upon our arrival, we were immediately assisted with umbrellas upon alighting the vehicle. The door lady welcomed us, and asked if we were part of the bloggers' night. I said yes since I saw her holding a name tag with my name and IG handle on it. It's so nice to be recognized as such. 😻 (Thank you, |ooloo and Team K!) ❤️
We were first given a quick tour of the whole property and it is very impressive. The restaurant itself is very dainty and pretty. Right beside it is a large banquet hall. The events venue can cater to large parties, plus it’s very new. I can only imagine how grand events can be held there. They have a number of rooms too, essentially for preparation of the celebrations. Right across it is another one of their venues, that even includes a pool which is perfect for intimate outings. It was a great way to start the night. By the time we got back, EJ has finished styling our table for flatlay photos.
We were served almost all of their bestsellers and boy did Marita make such an impression! When I was auditioning for Masterchef a long time ago, one of the contestants said something that really stuck to me. She said “Food is the most concrete way to say I love you.” I’ve believed this for a long while now, and this restaurant sure has shown so much love on their menu, especially as their dishes were created by their family. They have a fusion of cuisines here, mostly Filipino with a mix of Italian and American.
1.) Buffalo Wings ala Marita
This was the obvious favorite among the bunch, including mine. I believe I’m a wings lover, enough to know when it’s good and when not. This one’s a pretty awesome recipe! It was spot on, exploding with flavors with just the right balance. Sweet, savory and with just the right kick, I absolutely loved it. The chicken was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The garlic mayo dipping sauce served with it went so well with the chicken too.
2.) Sisig
Probably not my preference on their recipe of the Pinoy comfort food, but still really good. My taste for sisig favors well with the crispy type or creamy, the kind with mayonnaise. Theirs was particularly tart, and the texture was on the softer side. Still, it was good and I’d probably enjoy this with some white rice, but I chose not to since the table was literally full with so much more food.
3.) Chef’s Salad Ala Marita
I’ve always had an affinity for candied walnuts and cheese shavings on a salad, so this one’s good for me. I was just hoping for a little less sour dressing. Still, not complaining.
4.) Mixed Cold Cuts
You probably won’t go wrong with this. I can imagine sharing an order of this with J over a glass (or two) of wine. Of course cheese is king, and their choice cold cuts are also very very good.
5.) Mushroom Soup
This was good, creamy, smooth and very flavorful. Then again I always love a good bowl of mushroom soup. Theirs in particular was very easy and filling. It can very well warm up the tummy for the wonderful meal.
6.) Pizza Margherita
The pizza was a little under seasoned for me, but still good. I might have enjoyed this more if I had it fresh form the oven. I was just glad they didn’t scrimp on the cheese. Obviously you can easily please me with any cheesy dish (and gesture hahaha).
7.) Burger Sliders
If a restaurant can make a good burger, then I’m sure a lot of their other dishes work too. Theirs was really great. I particularly liked the juiciness of the patty regardless of it being really thick. I could taste that they only use grade A beef, and I really commend them for that.
8.) Palabok ala Marita Capelli de Angelo
Out of all the dishes laid out for us, I was mostly staring at this mainly for two reasons. The first is aesthetics. The twist on the pasta was dope. It was spot on with how celebrity chef do it on TV. The second reason was the cheese crisp. It got me drooling already just looking at it. This pasta dish is something else. It was a wonderful take on the fusion of Italian and Filipino food by using angel hair wheat flour pasta, but with the sauce and toppings of a Palabok. I didn’t exactly know it would work, but it was actually good and I liked it.
9.) Crispy Pata
This is always a must in every Filipino family feast. Well, this or Lechon, but when the latter is unavailable, the close second option is this dish. Theirs was really good. Crispy crackling skin, tender meat and drizzled with some Balsamic vinegar, it was an awesome take on the popular Pinoy food.
10.) Pan Seared Buttered Steak
I think we ate this a little too late after so many photo shoot. In spite of it being cold, I actually still really liked this. It was juicy and very well seasoned. The herbed butter worked really well with the steak. The potato stack served with it was also very good.
11.) Slow Cooked Roast Pork
This was just a tad bland for my taste. But still I liked the texture of the meat. I think it just needs a little more sauce, but the cut of the meat was really good.
All in all it was a wonderful meal. I finally got to meet Kiko. Always a great time with Team k! I Will definitely come back!
***Note: This was a sponsored bloggers night by Marita. All food items have been chosen by the restaurant based on their own discretion.
This is the first time I've ever reviewed a restaurant, but I just had to after trying this out. First off, the place is beautiful. My girlfriend couldn't stop taking pictures for her instagram/blog account. The food was good (we had Crispy Pata, a salad, and my partner had a Lychee shake), and the price is reasonable. It's not expensive, and the servings were generous enough imo. The parking is spacious, and the location is pretty accessible whether you have a car or not. The highlight, imho, is the crew. They serve with a smile and are very friendly and accomodating. From the guard to their waiters/waitresses, their staff made you feel comfortable. That made all the difference. We're definitely going back.
Marikina is truly becoming one of the most popular foodie cities in the metro! It all started with the famous Lilac street with various food spots serving different cuisines for the Marikeños! After a while, different places from every corners popped out not just for the people of the city, but for everyone to try! One of the restaurants that got me excited to try is Marita restaurant in San Roque, Marikina.
I don't usually go to this city located at the Northeast side of Metro Manila because it's quite far from my place, but I'm telling you right now that it's worth the distance!!!
Marita restaurant is serving various dishes that came from the favorites of the owner's family. Everyone in the family surely have their preferred dishes, and that's how the concept of this restaurant came to life. A mix of American, Italian, and Filipino dishes on the menu - expect a wide variety of delicious dishes to satisfy your cravings without paying too much!
Tucked away from the aforementioned popular Lilac Street, Marita Restaurant is one hidden gem in the quaint city of Marikina! We were warmly welcomed by their courteous staff, and gave us a tour around the whole place! The place isn't just a restaurant, but is also becoming a cozy place for gatherings and events that'd surely be someone’s dream for their debut party! From the fancy details of the interiors when you get in, up to the very colors and artworks displayed on their walls - you’d surely be mesmerized with its charm!
We started with our choice of drinks - I tried their House Blend Iced Tea and it’s refreshing! Obviously not powdered as you can really taste the flavor! Buong buo ang lasa!
Now for the food..
Pork Sisig - their version of sisig is quite good. I prefer crispy sisig but this one’s good to try!
Cream of Mushroom - not the usual mushroom soup. Fresh button and white mushrooms with cream, and then topped with parsley, and drizzled with olive oil. Hindi nakaka may unlike other mushroom soup.
Buffalo Wings ala Marita - This is everyone’s favorite! Traditional buffalo wings served with salad on the side, and garlic mayo dip! Perfectly cooked and glazed with special flavors and spices for that glorious taste! Sobrang sarap kahit walang dip!
Mixed Cold Cuts - The only cold thing I’d like to eat my whole life! A big spread of Italian cured meats, seasonal fruits, and cheese. I like it that some of the cheese isn’t as sharp-tasting like cheddar cheese. It might be bland on the first try, but its raw taste really jives well with the cured meats in the platter. This one’s perfect to pair with wine! Don’t worry di siya kasinglamig ng ex mo! loljk
Ribeye Steak - Medium rare is my preferred doneness of the steak! I like it how it’s so tender, juicy, and flavorful even without the sauce.
Slow-Cooked Roast Pork - I rarely eat pork nowadays, but when I do i’ll make sure that it’s all worth it! Oven-baked pork belly seasoned with spices and served with marbled potato, salad, and gravy. The gravy was kinda bland, but the meat itself was sinfully good!
Pizza Margherita - Tomato, cheese, and basil on top of their floury dough! The chef told us that they did use the same cheese they have on the Cold cuts - particularly the quite bland-isa one. Didn’t know what kind of cheese was it but it’s perfect for this pizza. Not too sharp but it tastes just right!
Crispy Pata - Oh my Crispy Pata! Even though it was a bit cold already, it’s still good and heavenly crunchy!
Palabok ala Marita Capelli de Angelo - If all palabok tastes like this, I wouldn't mind eating palabok all day! Angel hair pasta tossed with prawn, bacon, sun-dried tomato, and salted egg! This is definitely the highlight dish during this visit! I think I almost finished the whole plate that I shared with two of my friends!
Everything we had was good and we’re very delighted to have taste these delicious dishes! Will surely go back soon as I am still craving for their Palabok and Buffalo wings!
Cozy place, perfect for event like baptismal debut and other special occassions. Good food, I love the Penne Alfredo, and salad. We had a good time and the people are nice. Great service.
I always wanna try food/resto in Marikina but I was a bit hesitant since there are contrasting remarks about the food scene around the area. Then come Marita invites to our group. I just can't resist to tag along on this event after the rave review of EJ B. Johnbunag
Marita is situated inside a residential area and along Mt. Kennedy St. The place looks lovely. I love the elegant interior coziness of the place. Colorful chairs and interior. The place is an IG worthy kind of place. The place is bigger than I imagine. They also have two big event hall (The Grand Cobo)at the back of the resto for big events. This place is a complete package.
For their menu they have it all from american comfort food to Italian pizza pasta and cheese and of course all-time fave Filipino foods. In this event we got to try some of their best dishes.
🇺🇸Signature Buffalo Wings - This is one of our fave! love the tangy delicious flavor of their Wings. Something that can compete with the best wings franchise out there.
🇺🇸Burger Slider - another great american comfort food. Not the best but definitely it was good.
🇺🇸Pan Seared Buttered Steak - we didn't get to try this at its best since we took too long taking pic haha. What I can say was the patato side of this dish was so good! It was like a pringles, deep fried thinly sliced stacked potato. Yummy!
🇺🇸Slow Cooked Roast Pork - another fave of mine. Love the baked pork belly. It was so juicy and the spices and flavor was perfect.
🇮🇹Assorted Cold Cuts and Cheese Platter - oohh this one is for the sossy cheese people. I love the Prosciutto, Cured Ham and Salami that comes with it. While for the imported cheese not too expert when it comes to this kind of cheese.
🇮🇹Margherita Pizza - at first we find this lacking saltiness flavor in it. But chef explained to us that they use authentic imported cheese that differ to what most pizza food chain use. At first you'll miss that familiar saltiness flavor but after a few more bites I find it good.
🇮🇹Mushroom Soup - this was creamy smooth good.
🇵🇭Palabok ala Marita Capelli de Angelo - this one is my fave. It was amazingly good. They use angel hair pasta and made an ordinary common palabok into an elegant dish. A must try!
🇵🇭Crispy Pata - another fave of mine. You can never go wrong with crispy pata haha. Their crispy pata skin was still crispy crunchy good even it took us too long to take pic. That's a big plus point. I also love the balsamic vinegar drizzled on the Pata. Yummy!
🇵🇭Sisig - not special but definitely it was also good!
Overall this is place is a new hidden gem of Marikina. A travel worthy kind of place. Top notch ambiance and food. Something that Marikina can be proud of.
I was invited by Russel’s friend to the Grand Opening of Marita Restaurant in San Roque, Marikina. I used Google map to trace the location of the place because I am not familiar in Marikina’s streets and esquinita. The son of the owner Bon greeted me when I arrived to the white restaurant. I was surprised with huge and elegant interior of the place. To be honest, I only expect a bungalow or a unit type restaurant but I was wrong when Bon tour me around Marita. My heart was beating fast with excitement because it’s huge & beautiful. They have events place that can accommodate at least 600 guests and 2 bed rooms where guests can change, rest and have some privacy if they have functions. As we go to the restaurant side, I was stunned with the fine interior of the place. It’s ravishing and classy.
I was lucky to talk with the owner, Ms. Marita itself, Bon told me she wasn’t want to be known that she own the restaurant. Ms. Marita told me that they built this restaurant for the family who wants to enjoy and bond. Ms. Marita informed me that they served their favorite food around the world whenever the family travels. The restaurant specializes Filipino, American and Italian cuisines.
