I love their Fried Chicken (Kobe) meal, but I find the chicken serving too small for me.. 🤤 I am a monster for fried chickens, you know.
I washed it down with their Halo-halo, I liked it simple but satisfying. 💖 I can compare it with Razon's Halo-halo, nothing fancy but good!
My friends and I wanted to eat halo halo and decided to try Kabigting's and it didn't disappoint. I really love the place.
Ambience 5/5
Halo halo 4.5/5 it's too sweet for me but it's still good
Palabok 6/5 I really like the palabok
Price 5/5 value for money talaga :)
I came here for the Halo Halo, but I also ordered the Palabok. The halo halo was, of course, cold and refreshing, but was tad bit too sweet. It seemed there were chunks of really sweet bananas that tasted like pure sugar. The palabok was surprisingly good. One of the best ones I've had in a while.

Had merienda @ Kabigtings's Lilac St. lst Tuesday. They serve the best Palabok. I give it 5⭐. The Sariwang Lumpia is good too. I love the combination of different vegetables. Sauce is not sweet..4⭐. The dinuguan I personally don't like. They used the regular white vinegar..2⭐. Their staff are really nice..5⭐ Halo-Halo which is what they're famous for I give 4⭐. We paid 430 for the halo-halo, dinuguan, lumpiang sariwa & palabok. Not bad, isn't it? 😊
Are you looking for that legit pastillas on ice? Look no more! Kabigting's Halo Halo is a piece of heaven, their shaved ice is like Bingsu's folded with mashed bananas, beans, milk and pastillas chunks. Beat THAT!
PS: I wasn't able to take a photo, I was too excited and ate it all at once!

Value for Money (5.0)
> This is the place where you can find the BEST Halo Halo and Dinuguan! Nothing compares!
Customer Service (4.0)
> The staff are okay. Few of them showed great enthusiastic service others are not.
Ambience (4.0)
> Everything is nice and simple. Inspired by Pampanga's theme that brings out radiant and cool dining experience.
Having an attentive and friendly staff is always a plus. The quirky interiors make the experience memorable. Great value for money! Palabok and Halo halo is a great combo!
This Kabigting's is literally a mom and pop store. The couple who owns it talk as if they are in their own home. For me, this is a good thing. It really gives new meaning to the word homey.
I ordered a quarter of the Kobe fried chicken which came with rice topped with toasted garlic. It was okay. Should have tried other meals.
We had the halo halo which I liked. It had beans, corn and pastillas. I'll come back for this.
We've been eyeing up Kabigting's since it transferred to this new location in Lilac. The place is clean, well-lit and homey. Finally got the chance to try its Halo-Halo and Palabok just to satisfy our curiosity in comparison with one of its competition (Razon's). Both have few simple ingredients but were uniquely tasty (although some say one is sweeter than the other). But since we're actually fond of the real homemade or shall we say mom-made Halo-halo bursting with various colorful ingredients (like sweetened banana 'saba', 'camote', 'bilo-bilo', 'red and green gulaman', white and red beans, shredded coconut meat, 'pinipig' or rice crispies, topped with leche flan, 'ube' and a generous amount of milk) we'd say both didn't leave a big impression to us. But who cares? When we crave for Halo-halo, specially on extreme hot weather, we know Kabigtings' just around the block ready to rescue. We also like its Palabok better; it's tastier with more sauce and garnishings. Price is affordable and the service staff were attentive and accommodating.
After a Sunday event with children in Marikina, we desperately looked for a lunch stop. Lilac has a lot of choices, we ended up here and Crepe Man.
Affordable meals includes various Silog choices, palabok, lumpia and of course, Halo Halo. We forgot to test their banner dish but had 4 others anyway.
We had three Silogs. The Chicken Tocino, Tapa and their interesting Liempo strips. All three were decent and portions were of good value.
The fresh lumpia was really fresh with ample vegetables. The not so sweet and spiced sauce made it more appetizing.
I've been wanting to dine at Kabigting's Halo Halo since last year but I was only able to try it a few weeks ago. Btw, they are now located near Puregold/Crepeman/Picazza in Lilac Street.
Went here around 4pm on a weekday and there were lots of customers that time. Place has this very nice Filipino-Kapampangan vibes and they can accommodate maybe 20-25 customers inside.
Menu can already found on the table. Then one must pay for their order on the counter.
Here's what we ordered:
Combo Meal: Tosilog with Halo Halo (Php185)
- I find their Tosilog sweet to my liking. Serving size were a bit small especially the rice.
Combo Meal: Crispy Liempo with Halo Halo (200)
- Their crispy liempo were a bit thin and hard to chew. Servings were okay but the servings for rice were small.
- I like that their halo halo is very milky and creamy but I was a bit dissappointed with the "sahog" included. I was expecting a halo halo with ALL or even close to the halo halo we usually eat. There were beans, pastillas and some corn included for their halo halo. Kabigting's halo halo can be compared with the taste of Razon's but just too sweet for my taste.
Overall, it was a good experience dining here and trying their famous Halo halo. If you're a fan of sweets and Kapampangan Halo halo, this is recommended.
My husband Junky Ymson and I tried this place while we're in the area for business reasons. It caught my attention because I remember that Jessica Soho featured this in one of the episodes in her show and it's also one reason why my expectations were high for this place.
We tried their halo-halo, dinuguan at puto, and palabok.
I give their halo halo a rating of 3.5 because it's not as extraordinary as my expectation, it did not surpass the taste of the halo-halo of another famous Kapampangan restaurant in the metro.
My hubby gives their diniguan a rating of 4 but for me it's 3 because it's a bit salty. The palabok is just a 3 for us.
Overall rating is 3.5 for the clean place, good ambiance and fast service.
Mix it all on the floor! Mix it gimme some more. Okay to be honest halo-halo pa lang natikman ko. Pero when u say pride of (insert city), pampanga. Aguy! Kabaleeeen! Masherep! I like their halo-halo same with razon's. Bec im not a fan of sweet beans and monggo beans. Rayumaaa! I like it milkyyyy. I didn't inspect their halo halo much but i can see pastillas and corn floating in my kabigtings halo halo. So yeah maybe thats all the ingredients and sweet beans its my s.o. To do not add the beans hehe as mention earlier. Anyway, Masarap! Pasok sa banga. Beat the too much heat ya know. Ill try their meals if my partner would allow me to hehe
I already saw Kabigting's Halo-Halo Marikina along Lilac last year; in fact, it is included in my teaser video for the Lilac Street food fest. They were located on the 2nd floor of a building then. Recently, though, they strategically transferred, and now they're along the area where Crepeman, Crazy Chicken, and Picazza are. I did not expect the place to be comfortable and artsy! I was also surprised with their halo-halo because at first, it was just like mais con yelo, but then it also had sweet beans and VERY YUMMY PASTILLAS! Perfect to beat the summer heat!!!
You can order their halo-halo solo, but they also have meals with halo-halo, making diners save P5-10 compared to ordering a meal or halo-halo separately. My boyfriend and I tried their palabok, crispy liempo, and dinuguan with puto.
The palabok was okay. It had a generous amount of sauce, though it didn't look too appealing. The crispy liempo's really good, but I think it's best eaten without rice or it's better paired with the palabok. It came with achara and sweet lechon sauce, so I asked for spicy vinegar. Ah, much better! As for the dinuguan with puto... well, the dinuguan did not have a good salty-sour mix, plus the sauce was "malabnaw." The puto was dry, but when dipped into the dinuguan sauce, then it's okay. Not sure if the dryness of the puto and the "labnaw" of the dinuguan were intentional, but yeah, not the best in my book.
The place is air-conditioned, has WiFi, and is adorned with paintings and other crafty/artsy stuff, which are mostly on sale.
Discovered this place by accident when my friends and I were walking along Lilac Street. We were really looking for a place to eat halo-halo and we were so glad that we tried it. I really loved how the yema went well with the other ingredients.
And because I was very much happy with my first visit, last Black Saturday, I went back together with my family. This time we also tried their Palabok and Fresh Lumpia and both are also good. My whole family also enjoyed the halo-halo.
Their service staff are also friendly and it's really a plus point for me.
We will be back again soon.
Even though I'm really not into Halo-halos, I can pretty much exclaim that Kabigting's are among of the best-tasting in the whole country. What makes their halo-halo extra unique is that while there was an absence of a leche flan that was sadly, one of my favorite ingredients, they've included yema - an equally sweet ingredient that blends perfectly along with the other ingredients. However, since I'm admittedly, not that knowledgeable in mixing the halo-halo beforehand, most of the yema were still at the bottom even though I'm almost already done. That said, I wasn't able to experience the entirety of having the yema be throughly mixed and I also ended up not being able to finish due to the significant amount of sweetness that the remainder has left. As for the ambiance, I could sum it up into a place wherein the Filipino culture really is a highlight.
