We've been dining in Max's ever since we were kids. SM Marikina is special since we've been here countless of times. We always celebrate special occasions/family day in this very place.

Place is cozy and okay. Service is unpredictable and inconsistent because there are times where some waiters are oblivious that we are calling them or just acting deaf. Prices are fair but make sure to check your food as some dishes are not consistent too. Servings are not consistent but some dishes stays the same like my all time favorite Sizzling Spicy Fried Chicken, winner! All-in-all, it's an okay place but it can be better. Hopefully it improves as time goes.

This review is literally just for their Max's signature Fried Chicken. here's a lot of fried chicken joints and frankly I think most of them are only okay. I tend to like my chicken very juicy but also VERY crunchy and Max's manages to do both those things. The seasoning is good, it could be a little spicier but nothing a little hot sauce can't fix. Fried chicken with a little spicy kick always makes me happy.

The only critique I have is the wait time. Make sure you order an appetizer to tide you over because they cook the chicken to order and it takes a while. Yummy, yummy.

Max's will never get old with their signature fried chicken which is definitely worth coming back to anytime! Sarap to the bones chicken that is well cooked with the right crisp plus their authentic tasting Filipino food selection. It's the best go-to restaurant for Overseas Filipino Workers who miss authentic Filipino food.
