Marikina' Branch is best of all branches of Take home. Maki and sashimi is consistent, well prepared and tasty ingredients. Unlike in Up town Center and SM North which gives maki as sour as tamarind paste (Too much vinegar?) And as small as 5 peso coin.

Staff is civil ( wc is i like)
Well airconditioned Room 😍

Highly recommend ( only Marikina branch 😅)

Best place to get cheap and quick sushi/sashimi to satisfy your cravings! Place is simple and neat, not suitable for dine-in. Good choice for people always on the go ✔️💗

Aside from the variety of their sushis, it was a pretty regular place. But it you are looking for a quick order of sushis, I'd recommend this place. The prices are reasonable and the taste is good.

Best tasting Cali Makki ever. Tried all the flavors, all of them are good. Sashimi is of good quality as well. We've been ordering their makki for special events.

Always in love with Japanese foods of all sorts. Been here just recently this weekends for take out. Store space was just enough for quick eat. It’s not suitable if you’re planning to stay longer because of the limited capacity for dine-ins. Good ambiance still, polite staffs and menu are all so good. Just ordered this all time favorite Maki. And will definitely try all other food picks here. ❤️ Thumbs up.

We were happy with our order!  The rolls weren't loaded with too much carbs. The taste was almost genuine and we could distinctly identify one flavor from the other. It was worth our money. Hopefully the management will consider having a delivery service soon. :)

Good but not great... Its an okay-kind of sushi/ maki.

The no of pcs may seem many at first but when you have the actual order ... Its too small for the price.

Food was great, especially the Dragon Ball Z and wagyu cubes. Taste premium with the mozzarella added isn’t worth the added cost because the wagyu is great in itself.

There's just something special about Japanese cuisine as it continuously finds its way to our hearts. Because of its variety, it should be expected that one can see Japanese restaurants booming all over the metro. One of which is Ta Ke Ho Me, a place that specializes in sushi at a very affordable price.

So if you're craving for some sushi, Ta Ke Ho Me would rather have you bring it home with you, thus they took a creative play of words on their name. You can however, stay in their spot if you wish.

So what we actually had are a combination of the usual variety of sushi that people are most familiar with, with some innovative ones, one of which is their deep fried version. We had California Maki (kani, mango, and ebiko), Ta Ke Ho Me Roll (salmon, cream cheese, and bonito flakes), Spicy Tuna (tuna and panko), Migori (torched salmon and cucumber miso mayo), and Dragon Ball (spicy smoked salmon, mango, and togarashi), all for just Php99 for 9 pieces. The thing that I liked most is their Ta Ke Ho Me Roll. You'll know why when you try one yourself. :)

If you wish to avail some more of their sushis for a party or an office gathering, you can get an even better value than the P99 picks. For only P299, you can already avail for 24 pieces of sushi, and 40 if you pay P499. I suggest that you better call them in advance for reservation as it would take them some time to prepare your order.

They also have Saikoro steak cubes which retails for Php99, with four cubes on a skewer. Theirs has more marble of meat and fat compared to Wagyu sticks being offered in other restaurants.

As for their beverages, they have some imported ones in can. I was able to try Pokka Strawberry and Melon Milk. They were sold at regular prices, which isn't bad for a canned drink. These are better consumed of course with lots of ice.

So if you're on a budget and in the mood for sushi, I recommend Ta Ke Ho Me to bust your cravings.

They have 5 variants of Sushi which can be bought at 99Php for 8pcs, 299Php for 24pcs and 449Php for 40pcs.

Here they are:

Cali Maki - kani, mango and ebiko (4/5)
TKHM Roll - salmon, cream cheese and bonito (5/5)
Spicy Tuna - tuna and panko (4/5)
Migori - torched salmon and cucumber miso mayo (5/5)
Dragon Ball - spicy smoked salmon, mango and togarashi (3/5)

My favorite would have been TKHM roll and the Migori is my second best. The flavors are just the right balance unlike the spicy ones that are quite overwhelming though I love spicy flavor but you can dip it with the sauce to balance it out.

We also had the Wagyu Cubes for 99Php per stick. A little pricey for a small portion but it was soft and tasty.

Worth a try!

A sushi place that's worth your money. :) php99 for 8pieces, what a steal! :) I wasn't able to take a photo of the menu, but they have more than 2 sushi selections plus other food choices like the wagyu cubes with mozarella (that I have to try next time) They also offer Strong Zero beer from Japan. They place is quite small but enough to have about 5-10 dine in customers. They have WiFi! :)

We just ordered Migori, Cali Maki (my fave) and Kani Salad on the side. Migori tastes like "tinapa" so it's a bit salty. Kani Salad, it'd be better if you request less mayo kase there's an umay effect kasi super dami nung mayo. It's SULIT na for 99 per 8pcs. Will definitely go back here. 👍 also for the service, mabilis na serve yung order. Good for take out since the place has limited seats.

Kaka-adik. Yung iba, hindi ako nag-enjoy. Ewan ko. Na-enjoy ko lang talaga ung Cali Maki.

Yung last pic, nagtake out ako sa bahay. Naadik talaga ako.

Sushi is love, sushi is life. Strangely enough, though I love sushi I can't swallow a mouthful of sashimi.
Anyway, I've had awesome expensive sushi (Alex III), buffet sushi (Tong Yang and Sambokojin have good selections), and bad sushi (school canteens, City Buffet). So when I first heard of Ta Ke Ho Me (witty name!) and their prices, I was skeptical but excited. The first branch, Morato, is a bit inaccessible for me though. So my boyfriend and I dropped by the Marikina branch since he's from the area. And OMG I had an amazing lunch! We started on the migori rolls, his recommendation. I love the texture and flavor of the torched salmon, and the nori strips are awesome!! The rice is of good, sticky, sushi quality. 8 pieces for 99 pesos, of quality this good? I'm willing to cardio everyday! Haha.
I then had an 8pc order of spicy tuna. The proportions of rice ball, fish topping, and mayo are perfect. It gets a bit heated up though towards the end, so skip the wasabi if you're ordering spicy tuna.
I tries the California Maki too. The dollop of mayo is a bit too much for me, as it overpowers the filling of the roll. Other than that, it's okay. But migori roll is the best of the three.
Excited to try the TKHM roll next time...and maybe the dragon, if I am brave enough and am armed with water. And then I'll try everything else on the menu! Except the sashimi I think. Lol.
I just wish they had service water. Other than that, I can't wait to take some home to my family! (Challenging though since the sushi might get all disheveled in the box in transit).
AFFORDABLE, AMAZING SUSHI. LOVE. THIS. PLACE.

So glad that to know that they made it to Lilac! As they were on soft opening during my first two visits, the relatively slow service was understandable.

I first tried the TKHM rolls,  lasang lasa ung salmon, and the bonito flakes? So flavorful! I next tried the dragon and migori rolls, but sadly I was disappointed, particularly with the dragon rolls. They were too spicy, I kept coughing while eating them! :( The migori rolls weren't as salmon-y as the TKHM rolls, so for now, my favorite is still TKHM!

You will never get tired ordering their California Maki. It is tasty and the Japanese mayo is the bomb. But if you love wasabi, tell the ates or kuyas to add a bit more on your order as they only put a little amount.
