Greg & Sally is where we had our Wedding Reception and choosing them is the right decision. Hindi namin itatanggi, madami kaming pinuntahan na lugar kung saan maganda pero walang tumapat sa kanila specially at their price point. Their Team na mababait (Specially Ms. Elaine) together with our Caterer made the venue level up from something to amazing. It was indeed the perfect location to held our event.
Sa unang tingin, di niyo iisiping kasya pala ang madaming tao dito, hindi niyo iisiping pwede pala mag held ng event dito but guess what? Pwede at sobrang sulit kaya kung nababasa mo to, it's worth trying lalo this coming Valentines. The place wont let you down.
Bukod sa venue na pwede irent, Cafe din sila and worth it ang offers lalo na yung mushroom. Their food is one if the reason why I want to go back bukod sa naging special na yung lugar sa amin ng wife ko. Salamat ng Madami sa buong Staff ng Greg & Sally and I will surely recommend your place & food to others!
I had a great dinner with my friend at this very nice place.
My review for Greg & Sally :
1. Food (taste, variety & presentation) = 4.5/5 -- Too bad walang pasta naubusan daw kasi, pero we order their sizzling pork sisig and it was very good!
2. Price (Is it worth your money?) = 4.5/5 ( Yes,very affordable sya )
3. Service (courteousness, promptness, grooming of staff) = 4.5/5
( I must say they are all friendly and accommodating, lalo na first timer ako sa place they find time to have a little talk just to present the menu to me )
4. Location = 4/5
Yes! Perfect, malapit lang sa house namin.
5. Ambiance (exterior and interior cleanliness, design and facilities) = 4.5/5
Very simple, yet nice but parang I'm looking for more "design or borloloy" something like that ( more lights, yung cozy yung lights wag pang spotlight..hehehe ) I love the sound of ,"kuliglig" parang nasa province lang. And I think mas ok din yung may little music ( not too loud, maybe a jazz songs or instruments something like that ) And pinaka gusto ko tahimik sya, very cozy and calm place.
Their BUKO PANDAN is a must try! super sarap
Overall, I loved it!
I just saw greg and sally in facebook and im curious about the place because in fb photos the resto is garden cafe. I admire the place thru pictures so i decided to dine in and the place was really good and the ambiance is very relaxing. And also i like their foods their pepper pork steak is really tender and chicken mushroom pasta is tasty.
I highly recommend Greg & Sally for everyone who wants an awesome and romantic ambience with a very accommodating service. Best place for debut and wedding receptions
We just celebrated our renewal of vows ( silver anniversary ) yesterday here with bohemian/reggae concept. The place was indeed the perfect venue.
Thank you very much Greg & Sally !

The place is like a secret garden hidden inside marikina city. Very refreshing greeneries and soooo delicious and affordable foods! Even the coffee passed my standards! No wonder celebrities visit here
We enjoyed the ambiance and ofcourse the food (worth the wait)!:-) Staff are very nice and accomodating from reservation to advance ordering thru phone, thank you so much Ms. Elaine and team! The price is worth, our family loved it much specially the steak and sally salad (highly recommended). Best place to relax and spend quality time with loved ones.. We will definitely come back! Great job Greg&Sally Cafe! More power! -Abada Family
We went here earlier. Everything's great! The place, staffs, food. Everything! Everyone should visit this cafe, swear it wont let you down! High five, Greg and Sally!
Very accomodating, food is great and I love the romantic ambiance. I requested them to buy a bouquet to surprise my gf, they politely granted my request.
They also have a cool game for couples while waiting their food. Thank you! We will surely be back soon.
The owner of Greg and Sally is so generous. Even though they are close during Mondays, she was kind enough to open her doors to give us oregano leaves. Thank you again, Mam. :)
It was a great experience celebrating me and my boyfriend 2nd Anniversary here. I highly recommend this place for couples, families and friends who want to celebrate something :) A romantic place indeed.
My friends and I had our Christmas dinner get together at Greg & Sally. The place has this really relaxing and homey vibe - the cafe, after all, is nestled in the spacious garden of the owner's residence. The food was affordable & delish - nothing fancy, just good food! (You'd just have to be patient or maybe bring something to munch on while waiting). Do try the pork steak (either with salad or rice), tinapa rice, tomato basil pasta, and iced calamansi tarragon juice. They also serve breakfast all day- which we will try very soon! ❤️
Such a nice garden and restaurant unexpectedly hidden behind those walls. So much attention to detail ... The environment really makes the food :-)
Lovely setting for a weekend brunch in a garden with fresh air! The food is pretty healthy and home cooked with herbs grown in the garden.
We had Iced Dalandan Tarragon and Hot Calamansi Taheebo Tea as our beverages. Fried Cheeseballs made for a tasty appetizer. Our mains, Tinapa Pasta and Ginataang Kalabasa 't Sitaw, were both simple, yet so tasty and satisfying.
Place - very nice, with many plants and trees around .. with swing.. my kids loved it..
Food - big servings and very tasteful.. tried their breakfast platter and appetizer platter.
Price - very affordable and becomes more cheaper because of my booky app.
Service - staff were very polite and always gives you a smile.
Experience - will definitely go back again and will try their other food
The food was great as well as the ambiance. We really recommend sizzling pork sisig ☺️ the staff was really nice, always smiling and very assistive to every costumer
Just finished dinner here tonight and this place was amazing! The price is just right and the crews are attentive. Definitely will come back here :)
I have visited this tranquil garden place with my friends. I am very impressed by the tranquility of this place. I love their food choices and the
taste was superb. I love that they automatically make you comfy upon arrival and they give you a mosquito killer lamp to avoid those little bloodsuckers 😉. I love that the place allows you to have an intimate conversation with your friends and family. Service is also good. Thumbs up to this place.👍
Honestly, what you’d come here for is the garden date experience. The foods we had were simple but they tasted good and they had adequate seasonings. It was fun because we can roam around and take good photos and also they came with this idea to write certain questions on the popsicle sticks which you can play as a game while waiting for your orders.
Number of times visited: Once
Parking: Street parking
Food: They serve Filipino food and we got the Bagnet Pinakbet and the Crispy Sinigang. I know, that's a whole lot of pork and fat but we wanted to eat both dishes! It's not out of this world, but it isn't bad either. It's average but still enjoyable. Ordered the sampaloc lemonade and calamansi mint for drinks, they're a bit too sweet for my taste.
Price: Just right.
Service: We went during lunch, and nearly missed the dining period. They close on the days that their open at 2-4pm. We arrived at 1:30 pm and we asked if they are still accepting guests. We we're not expecting to be accommodated anymore but we just asked anyway because we travelled quite a distance for this resto. Surprisingly, they graciously admitted us. During the order taking and food serving(we did it quite fast because we didn't want to takeaway their break from them), we saw no signs from the crew of being impatient and everyone was still friendly. Loved their service!
Place: Outdoor dining area. It's like you're dining in a big garden. I'm not sure how hot the place would be during summer though. However, the place is surrounded with plants and trees making it cooler. It feels homey and far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quite a relaxing place to go to.
Repeat: Yes! If only this place is near our area.
Ang ganda ng setting. Sobrang lush and green. Ingredients freshly gathered on site in many cases. The food is delicious and one of few restaurants with numerous choices for vegetarians. Mahal ko ang mushroom sisig, there are many sarap mushroom dishes. And the calamansi and mint and dalandan tarragon drinks are so refreshing and so sarap. Would recommend to all.

Love love love!!! I love the food selection, and the lush greeneries in the place. It is perfect for romantic dinner dates, or family lunch out. It is great that there is a good number of vegetarian options in the menu, Mushroom sisig is a personal favorite. #VegetarianFriendly
This place was our pick to celebrate one of my friend's birthday, and we were so glad it wasn't a regret! The ambience was superb, the staff were accommodating and they never let you be bored or make you wait for that long. The food is also great and the Sinigang gave us "probinsya vibes", would definitely go back!
Great place for a romantic date.
Prices are reasonable. Food is delicious. As you wait for your food, you may roam around the place and take pictures. It’s instagrammable. :)
They have a swing which you can try, an herb garden and a bed in the middle of the garden.
Beverages are unique. Too bad mushroom dishes are very seasonal. We have been to this place for quite a few times already and still haven’t had a chance to try the mushroom dishes.
I have met the owner, Ms. Exel last year for an interview. This restaurant boasts beauty that is born out of some phenomenal history. A garden out of love for nature and family is the beginning of Greg and Sally. Every food is a sure hit promise! And guaranteed fresh.
Greg and Sally Tree Garden Cafe lives up to its name. The vegetables are very fresh. Even the kids can enjoy the veggies, especially their Mushroom Dippers. The ambiance is very relaxing plus, they have accommodating staff.
Food: 4/5
Pumpkin Soup
Hickory Ribs
Pepper Pork Steak with Garden Salad
Cheese Balls
Nothing special with the pumpkin soup but everything else was great.
Price: 5/5
All of that in less than 1k 😊
Place: 4/5
One of the hidden gem in marikina and perfect for our anniversary. We were the only customer until we left. A garden set up with the only con that there were lots of mosquitoes. Place was instagram worthy and perfect for pre nup and wedding reception.
Staff: 3/5
Since the servers are inside, you need to ring the bell to call them. Server is gone as soon as he puts down our order so we have to call him again to take us a pic. Quite weird that they dont even ask if you need anything else when food is being served. There is no "personal touch" with their service.
The place is nice and aesthetic. It's like a hidden garden with beds, lights, tables, and bridges. Sadly, me and the rest of my family didn't enjoy the food. The flavors are too strong. Like the hickory ribs are too sweet and same goes for the other food that was ordered. Though props to the salad because that tasted very good. Service was quite slow but they were nice.
A nice garden rustic restaurant. The place is instagramable! Good food - pork pepper steak is a must try. Will definitely recommend the place!
I love the ambiance I love the fact that there are so many spots to pic from I love that there are so many places where we could take pictures or selfies and I love the game in a jar thing. It's kinda like draw lots truth. Their food is nice I didn't mind it. Good variety of drinks thumbs up
We went here on a Saturday for lunch. I must say it has a lot of trees and greens. Thing is, it was not as tidy as it should be. Maybe that was the theme they were going for and should change it to forest cafe (jk 😊).
The food was okay. Nothing special. I ordered the pepper pork steak. It was seasoned well. My wife got the hickory ribs. It was not marinated well. It was savory on the surface but the inner meat was bland. My daughter got the crispy tadyang. Same comment. My youngest ordered tocino. Again nothing special.
Maybe the place would look nice at night but im not sure.
My boyfriend and I were at Marikina Heights last weekend, and I took it as an opportunity to try the places around the area that I've been meaning to try. First on that list is Greg and Sally's Garden Cafe, which is also the closest to where we came from. But, seeing that it is a garden cafe with open areas, we decided not to push through with it fearing the intense heat we might have to endure, so we headed to the next one. However, when we arrived Lilac st., the place was full and there were no parking spaces available! So we headed back to Greg and Sally, and it was the best decision we made that day.
Ambience is great. I love the al fresco dining among the trees and shrubs. I also like some of their food like gourmet tinapa, bean soup and fried mushrooms but the steaks we ordered so far are unremarkable. We go here from time to time as it's walking distance from our house.
Greg and Sally's in Marikina Heights is that kind of garden restaurant you will not find here in the Metro. It is the alternative to Rustic Mornings by Isabelo, the other garden cafe and all-day breakfast restaurant of choice in Marikina.
On Father's Day - which is to say two days ago - we came upon the venue, the staff missing out on some service details, but not overwhelmed.
The food is homestyle and rustic - made with love, as they assert. The crispy lechon sinigang had three good slices of pork belly, nicely cut vegetables and a clean broth. Barbecue baked ribs were bathed in sauce, with a little mango and tomato on the side. Their pepper steak was thick and elegantly cut and fried, though lacking in sear.
The food isn't especially memorable, but the garden surroundings, and the kinds of trees they grow on the property, are rare to see around town. Coming here felt like a lovely excursion, worth the pleasant drive and the breath of fresh air.
We had lunch today (Thursday) to celebrate my niece's birthday. We were the only customers. There were so many servers and they were very attentive. We were seated at the gazebo and it's surprisingly cool even if it's an open seating. We ordered the peppered steak which was OK. The gourmet tinapa rice was good too. The hickory ribs were fantastic but the side mashed potato we ordered was very dry. The appetizer platter was generous and delicious with 3 dips. The bagnet pakbet was also very good. The signature salad was amazing and the pumpkin soup was delicious. All in all for 2,000 less 2 senior citizen discounts.
Service: 5/5
Food: 3/5
Ambiance: 5/5
My sister recommended this place in Marikina Heights as a change from the establishments at Lilac St. It's a quiet place set in a garden and perfect romantic date place.
Their signature drinks are original and really good, with interesting combinations like dalandan and tarragon and kalamansi and mint (the other one is tamarind and lemongrass). They also have interesting dishes diners ought to try. We ordered okra poppers and crispy sinigang which were very good. (I'd just had better versions from the hubby's kitchen so these just lack a bit of oomph. For example, adding paprika to the okra poppers would give it that extra zing.)
There were unfortunately not a lot of dessert selection and the brownie-sundae we ordered were too small for the price. It was also a bit annoying that the servers were inattentive and we even had to bring our payment to them because there was no one around our area. But would definitely come back here to try the other dishes and also because the servings are generous and the prices reasonable.
I got a chance to taste most of the food on their menu. All of those are a must try. i love the gourmet tinapa and crispy sinigang. My definition of sinigang for me is, the more maasim the soup is, the better. [hahaha] This one surely is. Pork was flavored already when fried so the mix of it into the sinigang soup made the sour and salty flavor balanced.
Loved the sinigang and gourmet tinapa pasta! Sa sobran busog hnd na nakapagorder ng dessert.
Hidden garden nga siya within the city of Marikina, ganda! Had fun with the swing 😁

Just when The Squad was so tired roaming around different museums in Marikina, Greg & Sally Tea Tree Cafe came in to the rescue. It was the nearest cafe onto the last leg of our Marikina Trip (celebrating my Inaanak's First Birthday) and so we grabbed the chance to cool down and decided to eat early dinner at this homey cafe.
The staff greeted us warmly and no surprise, the warmth was consistent all throughout our stay.
We're a pretty big bunch of 10 peeps including 2 kids. I can't exactly remember what we've all had but we've had multiple orders of: crispy sinigang (must-try), pork steak, pica-pica platter, fried chicken, pinakbet, crispy okra, calamnsi juice and a lot more.
I may be biased here since I super duper love Sinigang, but their Crispy Sinigang is definitely a winner and a must-try! Just right sour blend. The Pinakbet is also The Squad's favorite. We had 3 peeps shared an order on top of their own meals. Hihi.
Price to serving ratio is just right. Serving to price ratio is more than average. One meal is something that you can share if you have a little appetite.
Serving time. Prolly we were all pretty hungry and exhausted that's why we all thought that the serving time is a little bit slow. But this is some@thing I won't take against them. :)
How I wish I just live nearby so I can always eat at Greg & Sally!
PS: Their place can accommodate a lovely set-up of some sort. Just give them a call and they'll be happy to assist you! :)
Time of visit: Nov 12, 16:00
The place was a delight! Our visit here was unplanned as we were eyeing a different café for dinner, but since our feet are complaining already from long walks we decided to check out the place since it's nearby from the last museum we've been to. And we didn't go wrong! :) The place was not crowded, it exudes a homey vibe and staffs were attentive. True to their words, food served here tastes like fresh from your own kitchen. Servings were generous, too. I was expecting though a fresh fruit shake from the menu, but there's none. Good thing they have fruit juices and halo-halo. We all left the place with a smile and happy tummy. Great way to end a tiring Marikina trip!

Good thing the other breakfast resto didn't have waffles and tapsi, because if they did, we wouldn't have visited this romantic breakfast place.
This waze-friendly (so I guess all other maps can be of help too 😉) also has a lot of car parking space, so no worries!
The friendly staff will welcome you as you enter their humble abode. Seriously, it feels like you are in a rest house or something, with light bossa nova music soothing your ears, just enough sunlight since there are a lot of trees, plants and curtains to cover the shade.
This restaurant is capable of seating more than a 100 guests. I must say, this location is also perfect for intimate gatherings.
Menu-wise, they offer a lot of selection from breakfast to dinner. I really want to order a lot, but coming from a buffet yesterday, nope!
We ordered (and enjoyed) the following:
G&S Fluffy Pancakes - we thought at first, the pancakes are expensive (95 pesos just for 2 pcs), but when it was served, it was really tasty and fluffy.
Chicken Ala Greg - serving 4 pcs at 120 pesos, crisp and tender, served with homemade gravy.
Okra Poppers - we were intrigued as to how they will serve it. This appetizer is so unique that okra-haters will eventually love them. Serves 2-3 persons.
Gourmet Breakfast Tinapa - the deconstructed tinapa salad. We appreciate how they made it into flakes, and how they topped the rice with kangkong before putting the tinapa flakes on top. Love the green mango as side dish.
What I am impressed about the food they serve is that I think it contains less sodium. Being an umami lover, I really noticed the less salty taste, but to others, I think that may be a plus point 🙂
The staff is really approachable, friendly and warm. They keep apologizing when the food or bill is served late even when it's not!
Please visit this place, if I could rate this at 6, I would (lol)
Would definitely come back again!
Greg and Sally Tree Garden Cafe is a nice place to escape from city life. The restaurant is nestled deep in Marikina Heights and if you're not too familiar with the area (like me!), it would be best to Waze the route going there.
FOOD
I am a big fan of turon ever since I first tasted it back in college. And so naturally I was very excited to try the G&S Halo-Halo Turon. And did I like it? Oh yes! Despite being dipped in a pool of cold, cold ice cream the turon still maintained form and added a nice crunchy texture to the familiar halo halo.
Now, halo-halo aside, what else is good here? Supposedly, the mushroom items are good (e.g. Sisig, dippers). Unfortunately these were not available during my visit and we settled for the Crispy Sinigang which is made from Lechon Kawali cooked with sinigang. It had the right amount of tartness and was very sulit! (At Php185, this was good enough for two people!)
Please do make your way to Greg and Sally for affordable Filipino food and for the Halo-Halo Turon and if the weather is good, you may be able to take a few photos in the small garden they have in the restaurant 😊
Awwwhh this is such a romantic place. Quiet yung place very serene, away from the hustle and bustle but can you believe it's only in Marikina?
Thumbs up for your good food! Very yummy, very affordable (good for sharing too) very nice place ❤
Venue- 5, away from the hassles of congested marikina
Service- 5, nothing to be complained about the people here
Price- 5, the price proportionate to quantity
Food- 5 try the sinigang. Soups a bit thick, packs a lot of flavor.
The place is so beautiful! :) I love garden themed restaurants.
There's a jazzy music to give a light mood while eating.
The food is affordable. We find everything worth it except for the boneless crispy pata which we think is not part of the pig's pata. It seems that the meet used is kasim, and the sinigang which according to the menu is a group meal which is good for 3-5, well in fact there are only 3 meat. Hahaha!
They serve food one by one which makes the first served food already cold when everything is set.
Will definitely come back but will avoid the group meals.
Must order: Pepper Steak meal, crispy mushroom
I had my birthday celebrated here with my friends yesterday morning... we actually ha our brunch here... we tried their pork steak with different side dishes, the crispy sinigang, pork ribs, their pica platter (while waiting) and the chicken inasal... food were great!... since its my birthday they also gave me a brownie topped with a chocolate ice cream and candle... thanks to their staff amy for making that possible, she's very kind and thoughtful... the place was also relaxing with a garden themed environment while eating, its just like a home away from home... 😊😊😊
We were greeted by a friendly staff when we arrived and I was so happy that time because we're the first customers for dinner time.
The place was nice and cozy and it felt like we were dining on a resto away from the Metro.
We had Mushroom dippers for appetizer which I really loved! I'd give it a 9/10.
My gf had the Gourmet Tinapa and mine was Hickory Ribs. We also ordered the Crispy Sinigang since we're both Sinigang lovers. The food was great and it was an awesome experience. We just didn't like our drinks but it was okay to try.
They have various kinds of dish, but steak is the best it is paired with options like salads, vinaigrette and steak sauce etc., the place is quite lovely, truly perfect for "couples night." Also, the waiters are hospitable. The resto was supposed to be closed until 6pm due to reservations at 2pm, but they still accommodate and served us with good food. Our experience was amazing.
It’s dining al fresco amidst nature. So what sets this cafe apart? For one, the cafe offers my all-time comfort food. Pork! In this case, it’s Peppered Pork Steak done four ways. You can choose which combination you’d like to pair your Pork Steak with. I chose rice and mango salsa while my nephew had mashed potato.
Both combos are good. The Mango Salsa could use a bit of salt and acidity but it’s nice and fresh so we’re good.
We also ordered Tocino and Mushroom Soup. The soup truly hits the spot. It was exactly how my Mom would cook it when we were younger. Just a bit expensive for a small serving.
If you will ask me how many times I have been to Marikina? I realized that I haven’t explore this city yet. I’ve been here once but that was way back ago during my nephew’s field trip where we just had our lunch at the River Banks. Honestly, I don’t know anything special about this city aside from of course, that they are the “Shoe Capital of the Philippines”.
We tried Crispy Sinigang, Boneless Crispy Pata, Gourmet Tinapa, Crispy Tadyang and their PEPPER STEAKS (the best seller).
This cafe is such a guilty pleasure haven. Everything is incomparable. The Crispy Tadyang and Gourmet Tinapa are my favorites. Honestly, I’ve never tried Tinapa until I tasted their gourmet version. It was really good.

What I really enjoyed about Greg and Sally is the garden setup, which I think most people will agree. Located in a place where there aren't a lot of cars passing by makes it a more enjoyable experience because you'll feel like you're one with nature.
Anyhow, I only stayed here for a quick snack, together with my boyfriend, after a short visit at the Book Museum.
We were welcomed by their smiling and energetic staff, who told us that we can sit wherever we like, except for the gazebo, as they were preparing for what looked like a surprise proposal.
I tried out the Halo-halo Turon because it's a unique kind of turon and I like turon very much. Instead of the usual banana and langka, they used the ingredients of the halo-halo, wrapped in crispy caramelized wrapper, topped with vanilla ice cream. For me, it's just the right amount of sweet in one serving. My boyfriend, a pancake lover, go himself the pancakes with butter and jam. Nothing special mostly, but they used, I think, caramel syrup instead of the usual maple syrup.
Greg and Sally's signature drinks are worth a try too. Both Dalandan Tarragon and Calamansi and Mint juices are refreshing, especially on a hot summer day.
I just hope that the staff will be more mindful on the serving time. We were told that orders will be served within 10-15 minutes, but we waited for 30 minutes until everything was completed. Good thing they have this mini Q&A game and a couple of books on the table that you can read while waiting, and you can take photos of the place as well.
Overall, we had a great time.
Bonus info: The film A Second Chance filmed a scene at Greg and Sally. They even put a sign on where they actually sat during the filming.
Got curious when I first heard of this place, been wanting to go to here since I'm the type of person who looks for a tranquil place and it caught my attention because of their 'garden style cafe'.
Went there on a weekend around 5pm, only few people were there. The staff were accommodating and insisted to choose our seats since there's still plenty of vacant, seated at the gazebo area near the swing and waited for about 20 minutes for our food
There's nothing more to expect in this cafe, place was o-k, nothing special except for the canopy bed, unfortunately you can't lay there and pretend to be a princess. The canopy was designed for photo purposes only, oooh they do have swing area (2 persons only), herb garden, smoking area.
What we ordered:
•Cheese Balls with garlic dip
-12 pcs of cheese balls for only P85
•Peppered Steak Meal
-It comes with different choices whether you like it with rice, potatoes, salad etc... The steak was tender and very affordable for a steak meal
•Hickory Ribs
- If you were to ask me, I like this better than the steak meal, its tender and the sauce was pretty good
•Pandan & Lemon Cooler
-very very refreshing!!!
•Hibiscus Cooler (yeeeees!! gumamela 😁)
-MUST TRY!!! tho it looks like a cough syrup but hey its gumamela 😜
What I like most about this place is that its very affordable, and the place itself. It has a warm feeling and the service was highly appreciated, will surely be back for more ( I mean the desserts hahaha)
Greg and Sally Tree Garden Cafe is one of the famous restaurant I've been hearing a lot in Marikina. Been wanting to dine in this place since I've heard it last year but it was until today that I was able to visit the restaurant. They are famous for an indoor and outdoor dining restaurant with a nature feels.
We went there at around 4PM on a weekday and only few customers on the place. Upon entering, we were immediately welcomed by one of the staffs and assisted us to our seats.
Menu was handed to us upon seating.
The staff told us that the waiting time is 15-20 mins so while waiting, I was able to explore the place.
We actually chose to sit in the Gazebo area. They also have a herb garden on the other side. I do love flowers a lot so I really enjoyed taking photos of the flowers they have.
I was also able to meet one of the owners, Ms. Isha who was very kind to share with me the story of Greg and Sally. We also had a small chit chat about their food and the garden. Until we were cut short since the foods were already served on our table.
Here's what we ordered:
Peppered Steak Rice Meals
D - Served with rice, buttered beans and carrots (Php185)
"Nothing beats a classic Pan - grilled peppered pork steak served with a choice of either gravy or steak sauce"
- I like the peppered steak a lot as it was soft, chewy and very flavorful. And for the price of Php185 for the steak with rice, buttered beans and carrots, it's definitely worth it. Felt very full after eating this one.
Mushroom Sisig (Php175)
"Our healthy sisig option served with rice and egg"
- I was only able to taste just a bit of this dish and I can say that it has a normal taste for me. Nothing fancy though I'm looking for that more flavorful sisig taste.
Cheese Balls (Php85)
"Chewy cheese coated with special breading and garlic dip"
- 12 cheese balls for Php85!! Just wow. I like the cheese balls a lot since I'm a cheese lover. Though the downside of eating around 5 cheeseballs in one seating (was able to consume 5), there was this umay factor afterwards. I guess this is really good for sharing with friends.
Brownie Ala Mode (Php95)
"Greg & Sally's brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup"
- Ms. Isha was so kind enough to give us this complimentary Brownie Ala Mode for dessert. The brownie topped with vanilla ice cream is a great "pantangal umay" after eating. The brownie was soft and serving was more than enough for me. Haha
Btw, I wanna thank Ms. Isha for giving us this free treat and for being so kind to us. I wasn't able to thank her personally since one of the staffs said that she was already inside the house at that time. Thanks Ms. Isha! Hope to see you and chit chat with you again when we come back :)
Iced Tea (Php45/glass)
"Home blend iced tea"
Btw, service was really good here since the staffs are really attentive and accommodating to our needs. They're also very friendly and approachable.
Overall, despite the negative feed backs I've been reading, I think for me, this hidden garden restaurant in Marikina is definitely recommended when it comes to food, ambiance, service and price. I love the dishes that we ordered and the garden is really nice. The owner is kind as well as her very attentive and accommodating staffs. Price is also worth it for me. This is already one of my fave places and you should try this place too :)

The thing that makes this restaurant stand out really is the fact that they offer a garden set-up which could be perfect for special occasions. You get to enjoy nature while savoring their many dishes. Yes, it offers a unique dining experience but I would have to say there is still plenty of room for improvement here. For starters, not everything on the menu is readily available. We had to change our selections a couple of times because of it. The food itself was okay, portions are generous and very affordable. But nothing special in my opinion. The staff also needs to be mindful of the bill because there were a few mistakes on ours as we were checking out. It's a good thing that we always check that at every restaurant. That said though, they did apologize and they were still very friendly. Overall, I was still pretty satisfied and had a very fun experience.
I love the ambience. All the food we ordered were perfect. Crispy sinigang, so yummy, specially the "sabaw" kakaibang asim! I so love the idea of their turon halo-halo.

Value for Money (5.0) - I'm all hands down how great the level of culinary they provide to their customers. Greg and Sally serves dishes with taste like heaven and you don't need to have a deep pocket to experience it. Its affordability with the superb taste made Greg and Sally soar above the rest!
Ambience (5.0) - This is a garden setup place that you can experience full relaxation and enjoyment. Y'all find rare plants that are well preserved and well maintained. Greg and Sally is a version of Tagaytay's Sonya's Garden where you can smell fresh air around the vicinity.
Customer Service (5.0) - There is perfect word that can describe how nice is the staff that are working in Greg and Sally! Every single of them are so courteous and attentive and fast they serve their customers. Kudos for everyone of you Greg and Sally Staff!
Security (5.0) - Greg and Sally is a well secured place. Numerous CCTVs around the area which being monitored 24/7.
This is one of my favorite place. I fell in love in this place and catched my heart. There is no dull moment when every time I was there. Truly one of the best experience!
This is really one of the hidden gems here in Marikina. I can't believe that I've only started visiting this resto/cafe this year.
Anyway, I loved everything about this place. The ambiance, the service, the interiors, the price.. Etc. I just wanted to point out the availability of the dishes.. There was this one time my boyfriend and I ordered 2 dishes, straight from the menu, that weren't available.. I just don't know if it's always like that or it's just bad timing.
Also, another time i was there, i had to ask your staff for salt because the meal was really bland.. Please check how you cook things. It's really important that people come to your resto not only for photo ops but also because they want to be treated by the sumptuous meals your cafe offers..
Our 1st semester was finally over! Me and my barkada planned to have a special lunch or dinner before we enjoy our semester break. We decided to visit this garden resto/cafe in Marikina (which is almost near to everyone of us).
We arrived around 5:00 pm, nearly sunset that time. Their crews greeted us cheerfully and energetically. There's a scheduled time for outdoor dining for convenience (the place has lots of plants and trees, mosquitoes and insects are expected during night time), we just look around the garden. We seated indoor, but our table has a beautiful view of the outside landscapes. While waiting for our orders, the crews volunteered to take pictures of us on their beautiful garden. The friendliness of the crews made us feel more comfortable.
We ordered pica platter for our starter, which I highly recommend if you're going there with family or friends. It is a platter of cheese balls, chicken fingers, potato wedges and nachos; it is very good for sharing. For our main dishes, we ordered Hickory Ribs, Glazed Chops and Peppered Steak (the best!). I love their Peppered Steak! The prices of their food are very much worth it.
I recommend Greg and Sally Tree Garden Cafe for special lunch/dinner with your loved ones, if there's special occasion, celebration or announcement for the family/friends. The place is very relaxing and entertaining, and their food are satisfying.
Greg and Sally Tree Garden is a nice place where you can take selfie's everywhere. The foods are good, I enjoyed it. The staffs are very friendly and approachable.

Charming. I've always been fond of garden restaurants / cafes, so I naturally loved this place right away.
I love that it's kind of hidden and tucked away from major thoroughfares. That alone lends it a "secret garden" vibe.
My boyfriend and I went there at about 9 in the morning on a weekday and it was pleasant that we were almost alone save for a a small group of mommies. We chose to dine at the gazebo area. It was insulated so even if the sun was up and it was hot outside, we felt comfortably cool.
Food was good. I had the gourmet tinapa (I loved how fresh the vegetables in my salad tasted!) while Jamo had the peppered steak (but for me it was nothing special). We also ordered cheese balls (loved that it wasn't oily and it was crunchy and chewy at the same time) and halo-halo turon (really yummy!!). For drinks, he had the calamansi mint while I had the gumamela drink. I prefer the latter over the former.
Service was good. The waiters were attentive and food was promptly served. After ordering, we toured the place and took some pictures and our orders started arriving. Plus points that the staff smile when serving - something which is basic but sadly some restaurants forget to inculcate.
There's really nothing fancy about the place but if a chill vibe is what you're going for, this is a good one -- especially considering the value for money that you get. Prices are relatively a lot cheaper than similar places. I don't know how crowded it gets on weekends but I suppose sneaking in a meal here on a weekday would be a better option :)
I already miss their Peppered Steak😋, been a while since i last ate here. I liked the ambience of the garden cafe.. you feel closer to nature, while having your lunch or dinner. the only downside is during summers since the temp here can get very hot. Also, you have to wait longer time for your food to be served. But for me its worth the wait.😋
Spent Father's day in this place. Lovely. Very cozy hole-in-the-wall gourmet serving, and the ambience is very rustic. I also loved that the owner has French taste in music. The staff are nice, and would tour you in their garden. One thing lacking for me: free wifi. How else could I post via real time the beauty of the place? Plus I love how it turns cold inside without aircon, because, hello plants. A-
Greg and Sally is known as one of the hidden gems in Marikina. Their peppered steak is okay -- quite affordable (priced at Php 185 to Php 240) and "sulit na" for its price.
BUT I think this place is overrated. Sure, it's a must-try if you're on a food trip in Marikina. Don't expect too much from this restaurant though!
One of the best romantic place in Marikina. They serve breakfast. Tried their 'Longganisa topped with scrambled egg and rice with herbs and it is sooo good. The owner is very nice as well, they accommodate us even though we are a bit early. Their sausage is a must try as well.
On our first visit, my boyfriend and I ordered really yummy gourmet tinapa (comes with a mango-Philippine spinach salad, so good!!), creamy and tasty chicken-mushroom pasta, and deliciously cheesy omelette. We also had refreshing dalandan tarragon & calamansi mint drinks!
During our second visit, we ordered tocino with bagoong rice (topped with yummy mango strips), grilled cheese sandwich, fish and chips (aahhhhh the chips taste awesome!!), refreshing pomelo and cucumbuer lemonade, and tarragon tea. Grabe ang sarap lahat. Haha!
And then just last Valentine's day, my best friend and I munched on their mushroom & okra poppers. He had steak, while I had tinapa again! :D Good value for our money talaga. :)
The place reminds me of Sonya's Garden, but smaller & simpler. It's a nice place to dine al fresco! :)
Definitely going to go back. They have an interesting menu with a lot of their herbs/ingredients grown from their own back yard. You can say that pretty much everything they serve is organic ???? Ambiance was really nice as well. While being surrounded by nature, it felt really cozy at the same time. Definitely one of the hidden gems of Marikina.
Awesome foodie ❤️ nice place!!!! Great to recommend. #foodporn #lovelyplace #couplespot #dwarfs #lovelovelove #lunchdate #tatartbells 2-15-15
Greg and Sally is located in a cozy village in Marikina Heights. It is a good place to spend quiet time away from the fast food hype. I went there to have brunch and visit their herb garden too. For brunch we ordered Peppered Steak with mango salsa, Chicken mushroom pasta (served with garlic bread and ice tea), Dalandan Tarragon Juice, and HaloHalo Turon.
Top it all up with a warm cup of brewed coffee..
The turon intrigued me at first. When it was served, I can't wait to see what kind of fruit mix it has. Yes it has the halo halo ingredients I was expecting to see; red and white beans, nata de coco, kaong , sweet potato and sweetened banana in crispy caramelized lumpia wrapper. For contrast, they topped it with vanilla ice cream, rice crisps and langka preserve. It immediately became my favorite. Warm and crisp or sweet and sloppy with melting vanilla ice cream, the turon is a great dessert choice for me. (I even bought halohalo ingredients so I can make turon at home.)
Reasonably priced, delicately seasoned menu, hands-on owner, warm and friendly staff, green and healthy ambiance, clean and quiet surroundings.. I enjoyed my time at Greg and Sally Tree Garden Cafe.
been here last saturday 9/13/14.First customer for the day. Great food. affordable price. nice ambiance.
Great food at affordable prices. I love what they did with the place with the garden and all. Great place to relax at.
Try their peppered steak and their beverages with fresh herbs.
Had a pleasure of visiting this garden cafe before it was even featured in different publications and tv shows. My first visit was when they just re-opened earlier this year, and all I can say is... It's love at first sight! I like the location, because it's far from all the hustle and bustle of Marikina. In fact it will make you feel you're in a completely different place. Basically it's a garden paradise inside a city, where you can escape and have a peaceful dining experience.
I like their food, (although during my first 2 visits, their menu was only limited) I've tried crispy tadyang, peppered pork steak, glazed pork chops, gourmet tinapa, and pan grilled chicken. Honestly, I wouldn't consider them the best, but they sure are in my top list. And that is because, despite of their very affordable prices, the quality of the food didn't suffer.
But the selling point of this cafe for me is their home-brewed drinks! Tarragon tea, Iced Tarragon, Calamansi and MInt Juice, Dalandan and Tarragon, Cucumber lemonade (which I think is a limited-time offer only) . They're all delish and refreshing! How I wish my male friends/homeboys would eventually enjoy having these drinks, so instead of having a beer drinking session, we would have a tea session in Greg and Sally's! But I agree, this isn't for everyone, it's an acquired taste! So YMMV! (your mileage may vary)
See you soon Greg and Sally's!
(+)A happy place to dine-in! If seeing herbs makes you happy, then this one's perfect for you! Great ambiance. Great food. I love their tuna pasta and tarragon juice.
(-)They do not serve steaks in the morning though.
