We went there early in order to avoid traffic at Marcos Highway and to be sure of a parking slot. Fortunately, we got what we want. Our celebration of Father's Day at Seifuku last Sunday is really amazing. Our table is just a few steps from the buffet table which makes our stay easy and comfortable. We like their Salmon sashimi, Ebi Tempura, Gyoza and array of Sukiyaki menu very much. There is no so much Sushi variations but it taste good. Price is worthy for the offered menu and staff accommodation. We will come back again. Thanks Seifuku for a wonderful Father's Day celebration with my family.

The ambience was really nice. The staffs were very attentive and courteous. And of course, the food... Was very sumptuous. It's too delicious that you wanna order for more. I highly recommend their tonkotsu ramen, my happy pill and I'm sure it will be your happy pill too once you've tasted it.

The servings were big just right for the price. We didn't even get to finish all the food that we ordered. My usual favorites are Philadelphia roll and American Dream.

My rice bowl go to is Tendon. And the Salmon rice bowl was surprisingly good!!

I really love omakase especially their makis. By default we will always have the american dream and sunset roll so I won't tell much about it. We've ordered their boston roll which has lean bacon and shrimp in it. It was so good that we ordered another one. Take note that it's only me and my sib this time but we managed to eat so many rolls lol we've also had their green dragon and similarly we do recommend this as well.
Aside from the makis, we tried their tonkatsu ramen but we didn't liked it much. The noodles were quite soggy and the broth wasn't that rich and flavorful.

I ordered their Beef Yakiniku, it has an egg over the rice bowl. It was actually one of the best version of Beef Yakiniku ever. I also tried their Sashimi and Black Sesame Ice Cream, all great!!

Food - 5/5 - seems like every food would be great to taste

Ambiance - 4/5 - a little bit dark in the entire room

Service - 4/5 - staffs are accommodating, but they look so serious

Value - 4/5 - though it's a high class restaurant, only rich people can afford this kind of meals. But the high prices is really compatible with the food quality.

I live in the area and Omakase is my go-to for Japanese food cravings. I'm especially into their makimono. Since I love salmon, I always order the Crazy Maki and Deep Blue Sea Maki. You can always count on their sushi choices because their fish are served fresh!

I have also tried their Okonomiyaki and it's actually pretty good! I also often get their Chicken Teriyaki Don and the other Donburi because they never disappoint and will hit the spot if you're very hungry! May I also recommend their Matcha Ice Cream for dessert!

The service is actually pretty good. The staff are accommodating and the food is served in 10 to 15 minutes. The ambience is very cozy. Although their seats and couches could use some deep cleaning since they've been around for a while.

All in all, Omakase's food (especially their sushi) is great! It's delicious and cost efficient for Japanese cuisine! I crave for Omakase all the time!

The ambience is great. When we first went in it was really noticeable how cozy and clean the place was.

The food is fairly priced and delicious. The grilled mackerel meal set was so satisfying.

I don't know if it was because we were the first customers of the day but the servers were excellent. Everyone was really attentive. There was no need to repeat any requests and all requests were attended to promptly. My sister and I got the bottomless iced tea and it seemed to fill itself without me noticing.

Overall the experience was great.

I've been here with my college friend. We ordered Salmon Vegetable Gyoza (rating: 9/10), Tonkotsu Ramen (rating: 10/10), Kaisen Miso (rating: 10/10), Sushi Boat Regular (rating: 10000/10 SOOO AMAZING), and lastly, Green Tea Ice Cream (rating: 10/10) for dessert.

The place is nice a little masikip but its okay. Service is also good. Would always go back here for that boat and ice cream! 👅

One of my tummy rules is to stay away from new/unfamiliar restos when I'm really hungry. Yesterday, I was famished but feeling a little more adventurous than usual, so we tried Omakase along Gil Fernando Ave. which was just a stone's throw away from our place. It was a delight to be warmly welcomed by pleasant staff as early as the store's opening (we were the first customers).
The salmon sashimi (10 slices a plate) was very fresh and melt-in-your-mouth. The wasabi lacked some kick, though. Along with the sashimi, we also got the tropical salad, which was light and refreshing. We couldn't have picked a better combo for our appetizers!
And just on cue, in came our mains: seafood teppan (came with garlic rice) and ebi tempura. The teppan was a combination of salmon, squid and shrimp with veggies in the middle - it came with a vinegar-y dip, but i preferred the tonkatsu sauce with my teppan. The ebi tempura was quite satisfying with its light & crunchy batter. The dip, though, didn't have the shredded radish and ginger; hence, it lacked flavor. Nothing that kikkoman or my handy dandy tonkatsu sauce couldn't fix *wink*
To top it off, the staff, specially Myla and Nido, were very accommodating and attentive.
Overall it was a great lunch. The experience has certainly motivated me to experiment a little more in my future 'hangry' moments ;-)

Omakase's probably the only decent Japanese restaurant in Marikina. It's my go-to place for maki (order their platters!) because of the prices and their servings.

My favorites: Deep Blue Sea, Chirashi, Dynamite Maki, Seafood Dumplings, Seafood Crepe Salad

Don't order their tofu steak and soba -- you're better off with other items in the menu! Their okonomiyaki is so-so :)

I personally favor this branch of Omakase over other ones (Ayala Triangle, etc). The quality of the maki and Teriyaki chicken is always consistently at par with your usual higher end Japanese restaurants.

The place is yours typical Omakase branch but a bit cleaner than most branches. Waiters are prompt to serve your needs.

Omakase holds such great record for serving japanese food. Wherever branch you go to, it still serves its usual taste.

Went here on Sunday evening after mass with my family. Not much people when we came here. But service was very slow and they were also inattentive. Kind of disappointing cause I've always loved Omakase. But I always in Tomas Morato. First time here in Marikina. Hoping the next time, it won't be like this.

If you are looking for:
a quiet and relaxing place for family gatherings and reunion with friends
Japanese-feels ambiance
friendly staff
numerous parking
a lot of menu choices
then Omakase is just the right place for you!

Actually, we were looking for a quiet place to dine in since we are having dinner with a friend who just came back from the US.

We ordered the following:
Pork Gyoza - not so special
Seafood Dumpling - super like! Just like seafood dumpling of Luk Yuen (sorry for comparing!)
Sushi Boat - at 900 php, a bit expensive. BUT! The sushi rolls and maki(s) are well prepared. Authentic Japanese. Fresh sashimi. The price is right, I must say. Also, the presentation is super cute that I wished I can own a sushi boat too!

Price: 400 php and we are soooooo full. No complains!

Will come back to try the other sushi rolls! :)

Ratings on each restaurants has a high effect on me. I tend to over expect and in the end I get disappointed. Last night we had our dinner in Omakase. Constantly Imakase is rats high that I told my self I should try it. The resto is not bad. I thought that it was a small resto but to my surprise its big inside it actually has function rooms or private rooms for big groups. Prices fair enough and service is above average. The food taste good but it still is not in my top 5 japanese restaurant. Would I still go back to Omakase? Yes ofcourse for. Quick japanese food cravings specially that is just in the neighborhood.

After devouring caramelised onions and baked mussels at Blakes.  We went to the restaurant next door immediately.

We were seconds away from dining at Omakase,  folks.

The interior reminds of Memoirs of A Geisha,  i dunno why,  i guessing it is the cherry blossoms wall decor thingy they have.  I kept on checking if Sayuri will come out.  The design is modern and sleek but with a lil Japanese flare.

The menu is extensive, first timers will have a hard time choosing.  They offer a variety of dishes -  beef,  fowl,  veggies and seafood.  He liked the fact that the chopsticks are made of plastic.  He said that i should include this on my review.

"Very good.  Walang masyadong punong mapuputol. "

Yes,  we share the same sentiments with regard to Climate Change.

We were not that hungry,  so we settled on sharing the sushi sampler and miso soup.  He likes the latter and briefly explained the movement of molecules when exposed to hot temperature.

The sushi sampler is comprised of salmon and tuna sashimi (three of each) and ebi, salmon and tuna sushi (one of each).  This is one of the best snacks we had in a while.  Biased opinion as we both like Japanese food especially sashimi.

It is hard to come up with an extensive review of the pleasures of eating raw fish but believe me when i say that you're missing out on life if you haven't tried sashimi.  Go ahead,  add it on your bucket list.  If you happen to like 'em,  then welcome to the club and if you feel the opposite,  well..... I'd give you a gold star for trying.

Affinity with eating raw fish has an evolutionary psychology element,  our ancestors never had stoves before (before they knew knew how to make fire)  and i am assuming that some of the food they eat are raw.  This trait is then passed on to the modern man,   hence some people like eating sashimi.

Back to Omakase, this is still the best Japanese restaurant for me..  Good food at an affordable price.  I am sure Japanese Food aficionados will agree,  Hai!

We are glad to find our new favorite place in Marikina.  Everything we ordered was tasty.  We ordered Chirashi (300 Php), Pork Tonkatsu (190 Php), Pork Gyoza (160 Php), and Tuna Sashimi (240 Php). The serving time was around 5-10 minutes, which I think is fast.  The servings are big -- especially the tuna sashimi, which is very cheap for its quality. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We are definitely going back to this place again, and again, and again. :)(The pictures I uploaded are of Chirashi (in the bowl) and tuna sashimi and gyoza. )

Kikofuji is too far from Marikina so I thought I'd try Omakase.

Freshness: 3.5. I could taste the freeze burn. The shrimp in the chirashi was exceptionally bad. The salmon and tuna sashimi weren't bad. The cuts are too thin for those accustomed to sashimi in Japan.

Service: 4.5. Trixia is one of their best servers: attentive, good suggestions

Ambiance: 4.0. I particularly enjoyed their bamboo window. Great idea.

A criticism directed to the city government of Marikina: your sewage repair (right before the election) has caused an explosion in mosquito population. We better not get DELivered DEngue, DEL.

I love their menu so much! 👅 So many food to choose from. However, I do not recommend their rice bowls specifically Katsudon and Chicken Teriyaki. They were nothing special and I can have a better same dish for a cheaper price. Nonetheless, you can never go wrong with their Makimonos like Boston Rolls! I ordered two of it but still, it didn't satisfy my sushi craving 😔 My taste buds will always be craving for more sushiii! For dessert, they had this Tempura Ice Cream that consists of Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Syrup and Tempura Breading. It was yummy! Their service is good. Friendly, polite and accommodating staff. The interior looks fresh and i liked the cherry blossoms wallpaper together with the warm light 😊 They could still improve the chairs, tables and their plates haha I did not find them a bit attractive but it's fine. Overall, the place is worth visiting again for the sushi! Makirolls for the win 😢💕

We ordered Philadelphia Roll (220), Salmon Teppan (215), Beef and Chicken Teppan (305), Wild raspberry bottemless (75), Banana Nut a la Mode (125), and a Saga Tofu (150). We had a great time with the food and with Omakase's very cozy ambiance. Tokyo vibe feels :3 I gave a rating of 4 for this because we were really satisfied especially my sushi cravingsssss hihi

Omakase is my go-to Japanese restaurant. I always enjoy the wide assortment of maki. Among my favorites are the Salmon Skin Roll, Jurassic Roll, and American Dream Roll. I almost always order Ebi Tempura. The service is usually good, but there are times when some orders get left behind and are served when everyone else at your table is done eating. The place is nice, though it feels somewhat cramped, but I do understand maximizing the space that they have. They really have to do something about the mosquitoes though. There aren't many, but I almost always get a mosquito bite when I'm there.

Omakase is my go-to place to satisfy my roll cravings. I used to have to go to the Libis branch (which is now closed) or Il Terrazzo in Quezon City so I'm so happy when they opened the Marikina branch.

My favorites are the Dynamite Roll topped with salmon and the Boston Roll. I love love love the dipping sauce that goes with them, too. I also recommend the Omakase Salad, their version of the kani salad, and the Seafood Crepe salad.

They serve usual Japanese fare--gyoza, gyudon, karaage, ebi fry, etc.--which is good as well.

Service takes time but food is worth the wait. The place can get packed especially during peak hours so come early.

It was just a few years back when I joined the "sushi-lovers bandwagon". My tastebuds were just not accustomed to eat anything raw. Slowly, I have been training myself to love Jap food. While I enjoy their fried specialties like karaage and tempura, and other dishes like katsu-curry, teppan and udon, I'm just not big on eating makimonos or sushis. Surprisingly, I have been visiting jap restaurants quite often and find myself ordering em'. Omakase delivered well. For two people, I think we ordered a lot. We had their Aspara and beef, Omakase, American Dream and Philadelphia rolls. We also had Ebi Fry and Katsudon. Everything tasted awesome! We tried to stuff ourselves, eager to finish what we've ordered but the serving was big, we had to ask for help so we invited my friend's sister to come over. Ambiance wise, it was just okay, seats were kind of old (with food stains) and needs a little revamping, but the colors are nice, with walls decorated with cherry blossoms. Food presentation needs to be improved as well. Could have been cool if they have nicer plates, lol. Swing by Omakase and experience yummy jap cuisine - they have branches at Ayala Triangle Garden, Tomas Morato, Greenhills and San Roque Marikina!

Omakase marikina is a go-to place for your jap cravings! Gyu-chisu maki never fails though sometimes you need to tell the staff that cheese must be melted (sometimes it isn't). My mains, tonkatsudon (since im big on tonkatsu meals) never disappoint, with just the right crisp and flavorful batter.
Rolls are also good though i would always go for the safe ones (due to seafood allergies).

If you're visitng Omakase... definitely try their makis. It's what they're known for and it's what they're really good at!

My usual orders among the makis, which are definitely a must-try, are: Dynamite Roll, Sea Breeze, Zig Zag, Jurrasic, and Salmon Skin!

Ambience:
Nice & clean interiors, Japanese vibe (though some of the sofa seats have stain marks)
Food:

Pork gyoza was delicious, had lots of meat in it.
Ebi Tempura (8pcs) was normal, nothing bad but not remarkable.
Chicken Teriyaki was good because not overbearingly sweet. Serving size was a bit small though for the chicken teriyaki. My mom said the side potato salad to it was good.
The beef teppan was delicious, provided if you dip the beef into the accompanying sauce. I like the fact that they had the sauce separate so you can manage the amount of salt/ saltiness of your viand :)For dessert, we had tempura ice cream & green tea ice cream. The tempura ice cream consists of vanilla ice cream covered with tempura batter and fried. It was topped with chocolate syrup and small mango squares. It was good :)
The green tea ice cream is a purist's ice cream. It had a very, very, very strong green tea flavor. If you do not like green tea by a lot, I do not recommend you order it. You might be better off ordering the tempura ice cream, especially if ordering dessert for kids.

I found the raspberry iced tea (bottomless) a bit on the sweet side but my brother likes it so I think it depends on one's palate. On the other hand, the ripe mango shake was delicious (mango was sweet) but others might find it to be a bit expensive since it was Php 100/glass.

Service:
Service was okay but can be improved. I'm not sure if it was because there were a lot of people in the restaurant awhile ago that's why service was a bit slow. The tempura took so long to arrive. Some of the viands arrived earlier than the appetizer (gyoza). On the other hand, the servers and waiters were very attentive, courteous and friendly.

Parking: there are a few parking slots in front of the restaurant. There's an empty lot on the right of the restaurant where customers can also park.

I suggest arriving early during peak/meal times to ensure parking and avoid waiting for a table.
Overall a good dining experience naman :)

Highly recommended food: American Dream

I've tried Omakase before in their branch in Libis and I had such a good meal then - I love good food at affordable prices. I was so sad when I heard that branch closed because the only other branch of Omakase I was familiar with that time was the one in Greenhills, which is already kind of far from my location. However, I discovered that there was another branch in Marikina and it was near me, so I was really excited about this!! 

For the rolls, we ordered the California Maki (P 175) and the American Dream (P 215). We also ordered Chicken Teriyaki (P 205) and Katsudon (P 190).

I'm a little biased about this because I really love Japanese food. I loved all of the dishes we got and I love Omakase. :) American Dream is one of their best sellers. It has cheese and salmon in it, and it tasted delicious! No wonder a lot of people love it.

I highly recommend Omakase. Everybody should try out this restaurant for sure. You're paying for quality service, nice ambiance and delicious Japanese food! Great restaurant indeed.

i've never been a fan of japanese food..BUT, after my sister took me and our parentals here.. im having a change of heart..I mean, stomach. Im having a change of stomach!!! :)
There were quite alot of food on the menu..but we started with these, first offering out of their kitchen was,an impressive sushi boat composed of an assortment of delicious sushi, fresh and melts in your mouth tuna and salmon sashimi and etc.(sashimi=soooo good!!!!)
Our second dish was a basket of ebi tempura, served hot and crispy,..the batter was just right and not too thick. And for our third sampling, it was a bowlful of sukiyaki which was ok.
To cap off, Food was great (at least the ones we sampled on). Ambiance is ok, though it was quite packed on that weekday. Service is ok, the waiters are attentive. Overall, the experience was great ( because it will make you come back for more) (* and I did come back after this trip) It's worth a try for non -sushi/sashimi fans. hope you too will enjoy!

Omakase in Marikina just opened last May 2014, when a branch somewhere in Libis closed and transferred. The place has bright, cute, fresh interiors and enough seats for a lot of customers. They also had an adequate amount of staff to cater to your needs. After carefully choosing from their wide range of Makimono and Recommended Dishes, we decided to get their Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl, Yakisoba and 5 sushi dishes namely, Tuna Sashimi (10 pieces), Salmon Sashimi (10 pieces), and M2 (8 pieces), Omakase Roll (8 pieces), American Dream (8 pieces). For dessert we got their Tempura Ice Cream. They had sushi platters (and a sushi boat containing assorted rolls) but it was too much for us and we wanted to pick the rolls whose description appealed to us.

Their Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was okay but serving was probably a bit small that the kid I was with ended up ordering it twice! The Yakisoba had a bit of a sour taste different from the typical pancit canton we have in the Philippines, so before ordering, consider that the taste might not be as you expect.

What I absolutely loved was their sushi! Their tuna and salmon sashimi was served fresh and tender, although I preferred the salmon because it had more flavor for me. We ordered the Omakase Roll, thinking it was the ultimate roll since it had the restaurant's name but it was just okay for me. It was quite similar to M2, except M2's salmon on top was slightly seared (and even served warm!) with a yellow sauce on top. I liked M2 better though. Since they are quite similar, I suggest you just order the M2 and try another roll with different flavor. American Dream was different but good! Inside was tuna shreds with cheese and outside was sort of fried. The three rolls were served with Japanese mayonaise mixed with a black sauce the staff said was made of eel (the two were perfect for each other!) You eat their sushi one piece at a time and before you know it you're super full already!

For dessert we had their Tempura Ice Cream which was a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream wrapped in breading (similar to eating Shrimp Tempura) with chocolate syrup and mangoes. Yummy yummy yummy! And it's a good thing they deliver in Marikina to Marcos Highway Area, I would love to try their other rice bowls this time.

Great service! Great interiors! Great food! Great value for money!

You can never go wrong with their Salmon Sashimi (it's always fresh and finely marbled), American Dream, Jurassic Maki, and Dynamite Roll. Their Oyster Butteryaki is heavenly. I don't like their other menu items though, because most of the other stuff they serve are laden with MSG.

I was grateful when I learned they closed their Libis branch and moved to Marikina because it's nearer my place. This still remains one of my most favorite (affordable) Japanese restaurants!

If you are looking for a cozy-hip-urban-japanese ambiance, that will satisfy your wasabe craving which is on a budget, then Omakase is the place for you. Their menu line up is pretty much close to the "authentic" Japanese on the "fast-food" line. With the 5 plate meal for that we had, it was more than what we've expected which filled our belly and pocket friendly. So the next time you are within the area and crave for Jap-food, you won't go wrong with Omakase. Will definitely go back for a new set.
