Whenever I am in Robinsons Place Manila, I have a hard time choosing where to eat. It's not that nothing is good, its just that I don't like paying for expensive food, which this place is full of. I don't want fast food for our visit so we scoured the mall from top to bottom, trying to find a well within my budget. Another parameter we introduced after the word budget, they should serve beer. The second requirement threw most of our choices out the window as most do not carry beer in their menu.

A solid 4. I wandered around the neighborhood with some friends and we had a craving for the specialty of the house, i.e., their grilled squid.
Despite a delay in order, we were right to wait! The squid was tender and tasty, the marinade the familiar soy and sugarcane flavoring, which goes so well with steamed rice and a cold San Miguel.
Thumbs up as well for their pakbet, with tasty sprinklings of chicharon on top, and their chop suey.
Fun hangout with TVs inside, usually showing sports. Worth the trek all the way upstairs.
My friend was hospitalised and we had to get a to go food instead of eating out hence we all ended up calling gerry’s grill because we loved their foods. It has always been a good dining experience here though maybe if you get things on a to go bundle, it might come off as dry and somehow bland on their chicken kebab. Their kare kare was still the best together with their grilled squid which was soft and tender. We paid a total of Php.5,000 + on this order and it did not disappoint, we were full and we had more left so we gave them to street kids.
The grilled squid and pakbet... the main reasons why we keep going back 😋 Service is friendly, even if the waiting time can be long, especially if you are hungry! 😄
Favorite restaurant for special occasions. 😊 We always order their lumpiang shanghai and sugba kilaw. Their veggie rice is so good. And if there's room for dessert, their halo-halo is the best!
Gerry's Grill is one of my go to spots for Filipino food. We love their baked tahong and inihaw na pusit. It's like one of the best ihawan place.
Go-to ko for filipino food. Usapang price, lasa at serving, goods dito.
Ang di ko makakalimutang lasa dito is yung Seafood Tinomok nila. Try niyo.
There was a Mother's Day Promo when we went here (valid from May 12-14). We ordered Queen's Meal 1. It is consist of Crispy Pata (Regular), Beef Kare-Kare, Bangus Sisig, Pinakbet, Plain Rice, Buko Pandan and Iced Tea good for 5 persons. They even have a Photo Op with Mommies showing "Mamshie Placards". Also they give Bottled Shrimp Paste to one Mommy from each group who availed the promo.
Very limited seating at this place and don't expect the aircon cuz there's none. There's a door that leads outside to an overpass where the guard leaves the door open all the time so you can't count on the mall's aircon. The tables are close to each other and the waiters kept hitting the customers chairs when passing through. I don't know if they were busy at the time or what, but very hard to get a hold of a waiter to take our order. However, the food did come fairly quick.
We ordered a blue marlin steak and some filipino dishes. The blue marlin steak was grilled just right and was not dry at all. And the pork bbq were actually barbequed. Loved the food.
When we have balikbayan relatives or friends we usually bring them to Gerry's for Filipino food. We love their pork sisig, kare-kare both seafood and beef, sinigang na salmon, laing, grilled squid, grilled tuna, grilled liempo. Price is quite affordable. Service is good and fast.
This is such a great place to hanged out with your Barkada and have that grilled seafood's of your choice with ice cold beers on our side. Our all time favorite pork sisisg, inihaw na pusit, pork liempo are just a few that we always love to have in front of our table. Service is good and the price just fine.
Satisfying. Definitely go back here and try their other dishes.
