Chinese Restaurant with good Xiao Long bao. We love to eat Chinese Food and keep trying new Restaurants that serves authentic Chinese Food. We enjoyed the Noodles as well as dimsum that we ordered.
Tried this place today for lunch. I notice that their menu have mostly wet and dry noodles and some dimsum. So I ordered the noodle soup combined with Chinese adobo and xiao long bao.
The noodle soup was very good. Just the right amount of saltiness and the noodles itself is springy and al dente. The Chinese adobo, which is my first time trying, is sweet and fatty similar to paksiw na pata. The xiao long bao is slightly bigger than the normal size. Served steaming hot. Serving size is generous for the solo diner so make sure to be very hungry when you eat here.
Ambience is small but clean tables similar to whole in the walls in HK. Price is reasonable. Will definitely be back.
The Wonton tastes clean and the soup is seasoned just right, not too salty nor does have any trace of MSG. Soup is also too hot, perfect for my taste, as if it just got off the stove. The dried noodles (Noodles in Sauce with Pork Chop) is chewy, not mushy. Sauce is sweet, goes well with the chili garlic-sesame seed sauce. Pork chop is cooked just right.
One rainy Friday night when I got stuck along Chino Roces, Makati City in front of Makati Cinema square when I stumbled this newly opened Chinese Restaurant. Okay, since it raining I want to eat something hot like noodles soup or congee. I asked the staff if they have congee but unfortunately the answer is negative so leaving me no choice but to order noodles and unfortunately again they only serge dried noodles. Whatta night, to cut the story short ended ordering wanton soup and xiao bao long. Wanton soup is just an ordinary soup with wanton while xiao bao long is a bit sweet than the typical in other Chinese resto. Place is fine. Price is reasonable. Friendly crew.
