We celebrate the birthday of my grandparents and it was a great experience. Food is great, service is excellent and good ambiance. Kudos sa Cabalen Ermita branch
Dito sa Cabalen ERMITA ginawa ung reception ng binyag ng aking anak noong nakaraang linggo. They never disappoint me! Masasarap ang pagkain at ang staff super sa bait at helpful. Nag-enjoy kaming magasawa at lahat ng guests namin na umattend. Thank you Cabalen-Ermita!
I had a great experience with Cabalen in Ermita. Their morcon, sisig, sampelot and laing were tasty and their staff was amazing to deal with.
One of the best “eat all you can” restaurants I've ever been in and I've been in many buffet restaurants in Manila. It’s definitely a family getaway to bond and dine at the same time. Highly recommended for families and balikbayans out there!
Thank you for making my lola’s 60th birthday a success! The buffet looked amazing and my family and guests had nothing but great things to say so thank you again, and I’m sure we’ll be in touch in the future for other upcoming events and celebrations.
Cabalen lang ang buffet restaurant na binabalikbalikan naming maganak dito sa Ermita. Aside sa walking distance lang sya from our home, ang mga pagkain ay the best talaga, specially the laing, kare-kare and fried kangkong.
We came in for a family dinner, the food was awesome and the children loved the deserts specially the halo-halo! Thanks to the staff at Cabalen in Ermita.
First time to visit Cabalen in Ermita, and I was not disappointed! When we arrived, the staff welcomed and greeted us with a genuine smile. We were so amazed how cozy and sophisticated the ambiance was, and how great the food selection was. Super love the Crispy Crablet, Bulalo and Ginataang kuhol.
This place is amazing! So much food and plenty of variety to choose from. Their unlimited halo-halo, fried kang-kong, and kare-kare are my favorites. When you are in Ermita, Manila you must check out their Cabalen branch. Will definitely be going back.
My family and I have eaten in this Cabalen branch several times. Love the food and the friendly and very accommodating staff! We all love the karekare, Sampelot, Dinuguan, their sisigs and other grilled choices. Thank you to the chefs and the cooks that prepare the delicious food.
Thanks for an enjoyable lunch Cabalen-Ermita! I always come to this Eat All You Can restaurant when I am in Manila. It’s honestly the most delicious Filipino-Kapampangans buffet I have been to that is why I keep coming back. The food is always fresh and the staff is just always welcoming and smiling.
Great buffet service and excellent range of Filipino and other Asian food replenished from time to time and went down a storm with our crowd. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for eat all you can restaurant in Ermita, Manila.
So many smiles all around us! The staffs were very polite, easy approachable and appreciative! The best of this place is the buffet at P328! Wow! What a bargain for such good quality food, and very homey atmosphere. We highly recommend this Cabalen branch in Ermita to everyone! Couldn’t ask for more! We’ll be back!
What I really love about Cabalen-Ermita aside from their variety of Filipino and Asian dishes is the modern- traditional look of their restaurant’s interior. From the wooden dining chairs and tables, variety of food choices presented in kawali to the chandelier, everything is just so beautiful! Their Kapampangan specialties are a must-try.
As a kapampangan dito sa Ortigas hulog ng langit ang Cabalen dito sa Ermita! Their gatang kohol betuteng tugak, balut and adobong pugo are just the best! Thanks Cabalen!

the service is very good and the staff are very accommodating.. the food is great and very delicious.. i recommend this branch in my all friends and relatives.
For almost a decade I came back here to have lunch with my bf. We were so hungry as it was already 2pm. We were quickly given a table next to the dessert table. For starters, I wanted to have some bulalo soup because I wanted a hot liquid before eating solid food. I was looking for a cup or bowl underneath the buffet table but there was none. So I ask the food attendant if I could have some. She said "Ma'am nsa ilalim po." I answered "Wala eh." "Sige po mam ilalabas na lang po." So I waited for a couple of seconds. My bf told me that he was also looking for a bowl so he could put the foods with sauce in it. I told him that the staff is about to bring out the bowls. To my surprise the staff came to me and handed me one bowl. I was like "Ah okay..." it came to me that the dishes were not yet clean. So I let it go and took some soup and helped myself with the variety of foods. I have to say that the food is delicious. Here's the list of what I ate (1 serving each): bulalo soup, crispy kangkong, karekare, dinuguan, lechon kawali, bicol express, yellow rice, longganisa, biko, marshmallow and breadstick with choco fondue. For the drinks, I went to the drinks bar and ask the staff who was also washing the used glasses if I can have 2 glasses of water. Then he washed 2 glasses in front of me put ice cubes and took some water from the tap. I was like "okaaay..." Anyway my bf @enjoyed the breadsticks with chocolate. I also enjoyed eating because again the food is delicious. I also noticed that they dont quickly refill the foods. For the service it was "meh", the ambiance "okay lang", the price for me is reasonable 398 per head...So there it is. 3/5 for the delicious food. Hope this helps.
Di ko sure bakit mababa review nito kasi for 300 okay na to for buffet. Typical filipino food selection.
I have tried their bopis (which i really love) must try, crispy kangkong with the sauce, okoy, bulalo soup, lechon kawali, and their siomai (soo.. ordinary) since it was the food that i can eat with their few choices. For their Dessert i tried the turon, palitaw and kamote que..the food i tried we're really good for a Fil-Buffet and the cheaper of alli a must try if your craving for a fil-dish.
It isn't our first time to try Cabalen's buffet eating promo. We have tried it before but from a different branch.
Important things I want to point out:
* Food Quality: I must say that we are impressed of how the taste of their food and the variety improved. Our main favorite and a must-try. Lechon Kawali. It was so scrumptious and crunchy. Other must try dishes: Kare-Kare (Babe's fave), tokwa't baboy; minatamis na saging; their choco fondue (not that sweet, but I wish they could have offered bigger marshmallows instead of the small ones). And a whole lot more.
* Place: We're fully aware that this branch was opened since the mall opened as well. Which only means that table, especially chairs are a bit old. I even made sure I am fully seated as my chair is a bit shaking and thinking I might fall on the floor.
* Price: The price is so sulit. We were planning to eat on a different resto at this time. But if we were to compare, we had all our favorite for only 398/person. Very affordable.
* Needs Improvement: Again, I would highly suggest for them to atleast change the furnitures especially the table and the chairs. Also, another thing I would like to mention is, that the mussels taste was a bit off. Maybe because it wasn't washed/cleaned properly.
* Overall experience: We still give three thumbs up. We were able to eat some of our fave dishes, and everything is just so tasty.

Masarap affordable very good ambiamce accomodating staffs are good definitely come back soon this is highly recommended for family and friends go and dne
Based on my experience for this restaurant, cabalen was the best food experience because of the food and affort dishes.let's eat at Cabalen :)
399 for an all you can eat buffet, how can you go wrong? Everything I had was good and the sisigs made to order are delicious. The kare kare was too fatty but the sauce and the vegetables were done just right. For the Filipino-American in town for a few days, this smorgasbord satisfied my craving for some pinoy home cooking and then some.
If you are looking for an affordable eat-all-you-can buffet that specializes on Filipino dishes, then you should definitely try Cabalen. It's one of the cheapest buffet restaurant. There's a wide array of choices. Good food. Nice ambiance. Friend wait staff. So if you are with friends or family with a big apetite, I would hihly recommend Cabalen. Worth it.
The way they cook kare-kare was perfect. The thickness of the sauce and the nutty flavour is awesome.
It's just that their Carabao meat tapa tastes abhorrent (or it's just an acquired taste) tastes sweet and weird.
