I am a bit surprised to know that there are six locations now for Causeway. This just gets to show how close much we have embraced Chinese food as Filipinos. There are a lot of similarities.
I was here today as Ninong for a Christening celebration. The dishes were served fast, warm and portioned quite well. It was gone too fast, it’s a sign that everyone including myself enjoyed.
Even though the menu served was mostly fried, it was not greasy and still seasoned well.
They have a promo for their dimsums after 6pm which is very affordable and I think it's one of the main reasons why people visit that restaurant often. The food is nothing special in taste but the place has great ambiance when you want to eat peacefully with family.
Me and my family tried here for 2 times already and I must say this chinese restaurant is really good and a thing! Everything we ordered are just great no wonder why my parents loved coming back here it was their 3rd time already but my 2nd. Pata tim si great! So tender and the sweer and sour. A bit pricey but Everything was just a great dish! We are around 13pax and spend like 7k plus. We will definitely come back! Here's some photos taken.

I think there's at least one Chinese restaurant in every mall I go to, and each major street probably has at least one of these gems, too. There is actually so much to love when it comes to Chinese food, and for me, one of my comfort foods from this popular cuisine is their Beef Hofan! I'm thrilled that this plate of goodness is only Php 300 at Causeway Seafood Restaurant! 😍 This can actually serve around 3 people already.
The verdict on their take on this all-time favorite? I was actually surprised to see egg as toppings here, but it actually worked! Also, I loved how it wasn't too oily, and that the beef slices were juicy and well-seasoned. The rice noodles were perfectly firm, too! The bean sprouts added a nice texture to the dish, and I loved how fresh they are. 💖 Recommended!
As usual, my mom and I got some dimsum to pair with the hofan. Our favorites: Chicken Feet (we have to get at least one order per person!) and Bean Curd Rolls. 😍 Yummy!

First Review: May 2018 - 3/5
Yesterday, I went to church with my mom, and we had our simple dimsum brunch at the nearby Causeway branch. 😁 Even if we went there at around 10AM, lots of people are already dining in, probably as part of their after-church routines.
Anyway, we were promptly seated, and we got the following for our brunch:
✅ LEAN MEAT AND CENTURY EGG CONGEE (Php 130) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
We always get this to share. Serving size is already big, and sharing this means we get to have more room in our tummies for MORE dimsum! 😍 I love how they don't scrimp on the toppings! I was wondering why their congee isn't piping hot, though. 😞
✅ CHICKEN FEET WITH TAUSI (Php 80) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Not the best one I've tasted, but good nonetheless. 😊 In fact, my mom and I love this dimsum item so much, we now get one order of this per person. No sharing!!! 😁
✅ CRAB ROE SIOMAI (Php 80) - ⭐
Okay. This one is SUPER dry. As in even if you dip it in your soy sauce and chili oil mixture, it's still very dry. To be honest, Master Siomai's siomai tastes better than this. 😭
✅ HAKAW (Php 100) - ⭐⭐⭐
This one is not part of their dimsum cart, so getting it might mean you have to wait for a couple of minutes before it is served. Since I love this, I was willing to wait. But I was not that satisfied with what I got. The shrimp wasn't as fresh as the Hakaw in their Banawe branch, and the wrapper kept falling off. 😞
Food is okay in general, but the food in Causeway Banawe actually tastes better. 😞 Though, it's fun how they place all their dimsum options in a cart, and you can just request the server to bring the cart by your table, so you can choose what to get. Fast and efficient! 👌
Service was just okay, some of the female servers are a bit snobbish. 😒 But, I appreciated their attentiveness: my mom accidentally left her gift from church at her seat, and we were thrilled that they were able to safekeep it, and gave it back to us when we went back to check if they got it. 😊

We're a frequent diner here due to their afternoon dimsum promo. We'd love to splurge ourselves with their dimsum especially their siomai, beancurd rolls and spareribs. This time though for a change since we didn't make it to the afternoon promo, we ordered their mains. We had fried noodles with taosi spareribs and it was a big hit! It was soooo goood! I really recommend you to try this out. For dessert we had their mango sago and it was also soooo goood! I love both of these dishes and am glad to have discovered them today.
This rate is for their dimsum 😊 If you are craving for authentic chinese dimsum go heree. They have a dimsum promo with time period; after lunch and past dinner, that time you can enjoy dimsum with a lesser value.
We went there on a weekend for their dimsum promo. You get a number and wait if you arrive early and if dining for the dimsum promo. Usual dimsum fares, we usually request for the dimsum basket under since those on top are cold already 😬 the misua soup was quite salty. Servers are attentive but usually forget your request once there are many clients already. Utensils are so-so. Tables could use more cleaning. They just removed all used plates and utensils, wiped the table with something then placed new plates again. Recommended if you're craving for a dimsum quick fix.
Dine here for dinner around 8pm its hard to dine here if its dimsum promo time. Causeway have lots of variety of dimsum compare to.other chinese resto serving dimsum. My favorite dimsum is the beef vein and chicken roll. Its my 3rd time to dine here. Causeway banawe is near our house but hard to dine in parking is a problem also here at causeway benavidez we just walk.here from metro hospital. Food was good. But service is poor and parking is a problem. Place is ok but not that clean.
Let's admit it. We all are raving for some authentic dimsums at times. However the problem most of us encounter is that most good dimsums are so pricey. And it's almost impossible to find a restau that caters authentic dimsum at a very much BUDGET FRIENDLY price. So i must say Causeway is a hidden gem. Authentic dimsum? Check. Cheap? Check check check. All dimsums are priced for only P40+ only! Too good to be true? Ikr! However you may only avail this promo every 2-5 pm. Not that bad! Their regular priced dimsums are at approximately P70. My friend and I got 8 boxes of dimsums; japanese siomai, siomai, sharksfin, japanese rice(?), chicken feet, tofu and fish fillet, etc. We finished it all and we left satisfied. Hope to come back as soon as possible!
Food is really great! One of the best dimsum in town. The only downside, staff will ask you to wait for the food for 20mins but food will be served after an hour. It happened to me five times already. We spoke to the supervisor/manager regarding that matter but they still continue doing it. If it wasn't for the good food i won't return.
PS: They have 50% off for all dimsum everyday. Promo starts at 9:30pm until closing time.
Craving for dimsum? Causeway is my go-to place for a great dimsum day. To make things better, they have a Php48-promo for dimsums before lunch. I highly recommend their xiao long bao and siomai. They also have an extensive menu of Chinese dishes for heavy and group meals. I commend their staff for staying upbeat and accommodating despite the busy hours during weekends. This branch has a large space and I have not experienced waiting for a table in this branch.
We love going here during promo hours. It's only P48 for dimsum, except for the hakao. It's really cheap and affordable, plus it's not hard to get a table.
One of my favorite places for dimsum especially when its during the promo time. The siomai and spare ribs in tausi sauce are both top notch.
We often go here on Sunday morning since they have a discount on dimsums 9-11am. We usually order dimsums (such as xiao long bao, hakaw, beancurd roll, fish head) and congee.

We went tonight for some Dimsum! It seems like they got their hands full tonight. Slow service and it's kind of frustrating trying to call the attention of the waiters. Food's still great as usual.
Like all the food especially spare rib salt and pepper. The congee not that nice. Luv the dimsum discount at certain hour unfortunately some are not discounted.
I love causeway! ❤ me and my family would often go and eat here when it's 2-6pm (because they have a promo, P48 for all the dimsums😍😍) and i lalalove their dimsums! esp. the japanese siomai, tausi spareribs, radish cake and (my favorite) sesame prawn roll 😌💞
Been planning to have a Binondo foodtrip since the class started. Thank god the semester is about to end and we just had a food trip for real last night. 😹 This is one of the places where we dined. The food is good and affordable considering its an authentic Chinese cuisine. If you guys are in to Chinese food, I highly recommend this restaurant for your next food trip. 😊🇨🇳
There are limited parking spaces on this restaurant. And due to its close proximity to the nearby schools, you'll often find this place packed on weekday lunch. They serve great dimsums and offers wide selection of Chinese dishes. We've tried their pork siomai, kuchay dumpling, xiao long bao, chicken feet, spareribs, fried misua and wanton noodle soup. Everything tasted good. It's one of the restaurants in Binondo that's worth trying.

Craving for dimsums? Visit Causeway Seafood Restaurant and try their dimsums. Every 2pm & 9pm : promo time. You'll love their siomai, chicken feet, hakaw, spareribs & others. Enjoy the food with your family. :)
Causeway Seafood Restaurant has dimsum promo from 9pm onwards. You get 50 percent off for dimsums when you dine in starting from 9pm. I have tried this branch just once. I ordered the beef wanton noodle. The noodles are good and service is okay. They also offer free delivery service if you live nearby.
Chinese food will always have a place in my heart. Sweet and sour fish fillet rice toppings for a quick lunch. The sauce was a mix of perfect sweetness and sourness. The fish was good for it's not coated with thick breadings. The "ma-chang" or glutinous rice was mouth watering and so aromatic ☺
Will dine in again and enjoy more dishes soon.
