We are on our way home when suddenly husband crave for ramen. We booked via Booky, we are hesitant to pursue our reservation kasi twice na kami umiikot sa area and walang parking. But since craving is craving kahit malayo ang na-parking-an namin we push through. We ordered Miso Ramen, Salmon Sashimi, Crispy Maki and Gyoza. And true to what everybody said, hindi masasama sa choice ng Booky ang puchu puchu. Ang sarap! � All is fresh. And the service is great! Real great! Toxic yung time ng dating namin, the staff are all occupied but we are accomodated immediately and they are all smiles. Matchy matchy ang service and food! Good food, good service. Two thumbs up! ��

Well its been almost 10 months since I've been there in this very wonderful and amazing restaurant. Delicious foods and I've really admired the interior design which is very comfortable japanese-inspired architecture. Be back soon���

I like gyu tataki, gyu tataki here almost suit my taste. Mostly the food that i order here make me quite satisfied, eat a good food with few sip of alcohol, in this occasion is hot sake is the best combo. Ahh, the place is easy to find, the ambience is nice, also not too crowded.

The place gave us a new experience in Japanese cuisine. We were able to try their five kind sashimi and each item did not disappoint. It tasted fresh. A very surprising item for us is the Gyu Sashimi-- raw beef! went very well with fresh garlic and scallions dipped in Japanese soy sauce.
The Eatventurers randomly tried out this Japanese restaurant.
We have no idea on what to order but we were craving for beef that night and so we ordered their beef steak.
It was expensive but to our surprise it is served with all our favorites: corn and fries.
The sauce was swey but it blended well with the meat.

Definitely one of the authentic Japanese restaurants I've eaten. Two of my favorites are okonomiyaki (Japanese seafood pancake) and tako potato (not your ordinary takoyaki).All of their Maki have distinct, savory taste. While their sushi and sashimi are guaranteed fresh! I'm not fond of eating raw fish, but in Izakaya Kenta I can bear to eat one because it doesn't have the fishy, slimy taste.They currently have a Happy Hour Promo 50% off on selected food and drinks (including their best sellers like okonomiyaki, tako potato, tempura, ramen and more)
When you visit the resto, I suggest you stay in their Tatami rooms. :)

4 pieces. Delicious!
Gyoza (P150)
5 pieces. Bottom of the gyoza was a little burnt.
Ebi Tempura(P280)
Only 3 pieces of prawn tempura + 2 pieces of eggplant tempura.
Shrimp was fresh, while the tempura flakes was crispy and not too thick.
Gyudon (P300)
Served with 1 raw egg. Serving was generous with rice, but meat was few and a bit fatty.
Overall:
Serving sizes were small. Authentic Japanese feels and food.
They have a big sign outside advertising their happy hour promo from 9pm-12mn. We were not disappointed to try this place out. My favorite was their cheese katsu and mouth watering beef yakiniku. Be forewarned, some food items will be out of stock by 9pm. That's how good their dishes are.
Will try the tako potato next visit.

They launched a happy hour promo last November 3 super sulit!! 50% off sa selected items from 9pm to 12midnight. Bago na din yung closing hours nila 2am na, so dun sa mga gusto mag midnight snack ng ramen sa Izakaya Kenta na kayo pumunta malinis na sobrang sarap pa.
My friends and I decided to celebrate the womans day here for a dinner. As of the place , approved ! Clean and you will feel like you are in japan. As for the food, very tasty but it is pricey (worth it naman !) they recommend for us the katsu meal and their ramen. For six person, our bill almost 2k+. (buti na lang libre😊) service okay naman.

This was a small unassuming place in Malate just across Cafe Adriatico. We decided to try this place because my friend was craving for some ramen. We opted to eat outside just to people watch. First of, i commend the fast service and very attentive staff. I loved of course the salmon sashimi, who doesn't? I tasted it fresh unlike the one you would order in some mall restos. The ramen too was delicious for me, the noodles were cooked just right- between soft and firm. The chicken was so-so, nothing spectacular. Plus I didn't like the gyoza, it might be due to the proportion of fat and lean meat. The taste was more of uncooked than steamed. I also ordered the chahan rice which lacked salt and pepper. But for the service and the ramen, i'm giving this a rate of 4.
The food was really great very simple yet very Japanese. Yakisoba was surprisingly good, not too oily the sweetness and savoriness was balanced. Tako potato was heaven! They're tempura was light and crisp. The ambiance was cozy, the interior was okay! The service is okay! :)

Mixed Sushi, and another round of beer, just can't get better than that.
Tori Karaage, fried chicken that's juicy and moist with a crisp outer layer, a personal favorite. Squeeze a little lemon and that's all you need. Each piece of chicken is seasoned for bold flavors. Extra rice? Definitely. And go for another beer too.
Gyu Suteki, tender beef with vegetables on a sizzling hot plate. Thin slices of garlic complete the dish, perfect with steamed white rice.
GindaraTeriyaki, tender codfish glazed with sweet teriyaki. Fresh and flavorful, another signature dish worth trying at Izakaya Kenta.
