Reasonable price. Great spice. I love how firm the noodles was and it did not even went soggy though we had to travel with the food. Service is fast and the preparation is enough to have starving peeps wait after a night out.

I tried their tantanmen and asked for addtl egg and pork. Well, basically you will only have the ramen without anything on it so you really have to avail their add ons. 😂 This is the most affordable ramen i've seen in the metro!

It has been a while since I visited this place. Since it got burned, their renovations made the place bigger and a lot more open, in a sense. There are still very full at night.

Tantanmen is still delicious but somehow less flavor than the first time I ate here.
Gyoza is different altogether and I don't like it anymore
Tokwa't Baboy, Buttered Chicken and Sisig are all still delicious and a good match for a bottle of beer.

The place is still hot inside so better seat near the outside.

First time to saw a ramen place that's carenderia type.
Cheap food + you pay for what it's worth so don't expect that much. But it's good.
My friends recommended this place coz they always eat here after a long bike ride. So one time that I went to a ride with them, we ate here. There's a lot of people and foreigners that's why we just requested a table and chairs and eat on a sidewalk.

Tried the famous ramen house near our school! This ramen house is quite popular because it's cheap and budget friendly for students. The place is just like a typical cariderya with inuman on the side. In less than a 100 pesos, your tummies will be filled with hot ramen! Dont forget to order gyoza as side dish!

FOOD: 4/5. We ordered the Tantanmen Ramen, It was so spicy but in a good way. We also ordered Tokwa't baboy which has a very unique sauce, It wasn't like any other tokwa't baboy.
SERVICE: 3.5/5. The servers were polite but not that attentive.

AMBIANCE: 3/5. It was a bit noisy. It had a carenderia vibe. It's located at a very busy street of Manila

RECOMMENDATIONS: I haven't tried the other ramens but I would recommend the Tantanmen Ramen if you are a fan of spicy ramens.

Their ramen is way too good for its price compared to other ramen shops in malls who charge too much for unsatisfactory ramen. Erra's Ramen is very cheap and is worth a try if you're a ramen lover like me.
The place isn't that good though considering its at the side of the road and also doubles as a bar so expect lots of people drinking especially in the evening. Staff are attentive and courteous though may take a lot of  time to process your needs if there are a lot of customers around. Despite this, I would always go back to Erra's for cheap and delicious ramen

I've been here a couple of times. Since Erra's was burnt down a few months ago, their price went higher than before. The food is still good, but I felt like after the fire, their servings became lesser. Anyway, for the price that you are paying, its still one of the best Ramen places in town.

P.S. The ambiance is not really that nice since is beside the streets but the place became bigger than before 👍

Don't let the price and carinderia feel of this place fool you or ruin or your experience. Their ramen was very unexpectedly delicious. Savory and melt in your mouth pork, well-seasoned egg, and firm noodles, all swimming in a delectable broth. Not the best but definitely a great tasting experience.

Very affordable! Food and pork slices are to die for! Quite pricey a slice though. They renovated the space after the fire. Always didn't have parking aside from the streetside that's attended by Manila City Hall.

Tried their new milky ramen and it was good!! A mix of creamy and meaty flavors that burts into your mouth. That was 80 bucks and it had a piece of soft meat in it, kelp, noodles and some spring onions. Additional 15 pesos for spicy paste and 15 more for an egg but it was worth every penny! The place was clean too even after the fire

I had their Tantanmen ramen with pork as an add-on. Tasted really good and I will definitely come back!

The only problem though is they don't have separate areas for those eating breakfast and those who are still drinking their beers from last night. While you're eating breakfast, others who are already drunk are too loud.

Your affordable ramen. Satisfy your immediate cravings for ramen. Ramen price ranges from 80-100 per serving with different add ons you can choose from. They have add on pork for PHP 20.00 and PHP 15.00 for spicy etc. They have miso based ramen (second picture) but their best seller which is a bit salty is tan tanmen based (if I got it right, first picture). Other than ramen, they also serve typical Filipino food like pancit guisado and the likes. 👍🏻

There are a lot of ramen places around this area but none as affordable as this place. If you're worried about the price to taste ratio, no need to fret because even with such modest price, you're ramen craving will definitely be quenched. It may not be air-conditioned but the atmosphere of the place is quite welcoming and certainly fits everything else in a good way. The ramen themselves caters to whatever taste you may have, and you can put as much additional items in your ramen as you want. So if you're around this area and wanna experience a unique eating place, don't let the looks of this place fool you, just go with whatever your tummy is telling you.

This place was recommended by a very trusted foodie colleague. He informed us beforehand that the place is a typical carinderia. That didn't prevent us from trying but instead our curiousity grew even more. The place is always full and the price is indeed really cheap (ramen for Php70-100). We ordered Shio (salt) Ramen which is more of a garlicly taste and Shoyu (soy sauce) Ramen. The taste is just fine, nothing special, but enough to satisfy one's craving for ramen. Of course for how much its worth, I didn't expect much which made my dining experience there satisfying. I will definitely come back and try Miso and Tantanmen next time my cravings strike.

We went here about a year ago. At first, we expected a small ramen place since we've looked it up in the internet before actually going to the place. Surprisingly, the place was crowded with people since we went there at around 9pm. Most of the customers, as I have observed, went there for a drink. In our case, we just went there for a ramen which we got for a very affordable price. I think we spent only 300 pesos for both our ramen and drinks. The ramen is good. It actually reached my expectations from what I have read that it is run by a cook who used to work in Japan. In Erra's you can eat ramen and drink alcohol at the same time (which I think is a very alluring idea).

Affordability is the edge of Vest as its ramen's price ranges from only P60 to P90. No additional service charge. Where else can we get an authentic Japanese-tasting ramen as low costing as this, right?

Aside from the price, Vest offers a variety of noodles craving from hot to cold, they got you. Vest's tantanmen is at par or even better than the commercialized ramen, rich in taste, with distinct ingredients such as seaweed (wakame), garlic, pork broth, perfect texture of noodles, chili base. It's truly delicious and a must-try. It does look oily in photo because of its rich broth.

What's good about this place is that it is open 24/7. Just a heads up though, it's hard to snag a seat during Fridays or evenings because several customers visit during happy hour 6:00 p.m. onwards, also its peak hours.

If you are in the area, along Adriatico and Malate might as well drop by Erras Ramen. Either make it your jumping point for a night out or your last stop before calling it a day. This is the only place were ramen is cheap, hot and tasty. . . Sure its not your high end ramen bar but think about it tantanmen at 100 pesos each and paired with an ice cold beer, good friends and great conversation . . .i say not bad at all. Down side its alfresco setting right beside a busy street and the service is usually slow.

We're looking for a joint that is still open since it's already Maundy Thursday and we're kinda worried that there won't be any affordable places to eat at at such hour of the night. We spotted this place because the resto is jampacked! So, we waited for a table and ordered a.....(drumroll)....RAMEN! Yes! Ramen on the side of the street! I ordered the Tantanmen, which isn't so bad. What's good is that, the ramen did not cost us more than P100 pesos, unlike the ones we see in malls! Since we are particularly hungry that night, we also ordered silog meals but a bit disappointed. Maybe our taste buds were fixated in the ramen that's why we did not appreciate the silog meals anymore. But nonetheless, it was a very fulfilling meal for both

Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They said it's one of the best ramen places in the city and they were right. It was tasty and just the right spice. The veggies were just a few pieces tho. But all in all it's enough for a big burp.

Ambiance ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The place was crowded! It's also a some sort of bar in Ermita so you get the picture. It's a good thing we arrived just as a table was clearing up because when we got seated, a line was building up outside. As it's a ramen place/ bar, it's noisy. There were a lot of foreign nationalities in the place, and the place looked a bit exotic.

Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Due to the full house, we understood that the service would be slow. But we ordered dumplings that weren't served, and was charged to us. We couldn't wait for them to serve it anymore so we just cancelled it. We had to wait 5 minutes for them to settle our bill.

My friends & I long planned to visit this covered outdoor ramen place along Adriatico St. beside Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Alas! We're here! We tried their miso ramen with egg, my other friend tried shoyu ramen with egg; they taste authentic and full, with a cheap cost. It was my first time to eat "along the streets" and it feels nice since it's only past 10am. Aside from authentic ramen, they also serve international cuisines, mostly Filipino food; at the same time, they sell beers. Many people visit here after the sun sets, for Adriatico St. is known for its busy night life.

So, to ramen lovers out there!

Enjoy a bowl of good ramen on the sidewalk of Malate, in the middle of the night. The ramen is good and hindi nia deserve na mag-isa. A chance to choose from their savory menu. There is a variety of different ramen(s?) to choose from. Tantanmen is their best seller.
Recommended budget for you and a friend is 300 php.
You can also customize your ramen!

Authentic ramen for less than a hundred pesos is superb. Erra's Ramen is about 3 blocks away from school. It's far, but we managed to walk that far all for the best ramen in town. My friends/classmates went here twice and I think I'm never coming back. I am not coming back not because the food is not good but because of the ambience and the safety. The food is really delicious. It's just that the resto is located in the darker side of Ermita. If you plan to have a taste of the best and I think cheapest ramen in town, be with friends. Bring a guy friend/s at least. :)

A hidden gem in Malate that doesn't really look like a place that would serve ramen, but they do. From the outside, you would just see a small stainless food cart with the 4 letter cloth of a ramen place. Inside, it looks like a big eatery with lots of foreigners and locals, drinking.

So me and my friend went there to try what they offer.

Shoyu Ramen. (Soy base) It has a light soy flavor that is refreshing to the palette. The noodles was cooked just right but without the firmness, fresh noodles i presume? The stock base is not as flavorful as the one used in famous ramen places.

Miso Ramen. (Fermented soy bean) It has a light miso flavor with a hint of the fermented, gassy flavor. The base was good and light, then add the egg yolk and mash it to make it richer.

Tantanmien. (spicy peanut) It was light, same consistency as withn both soup. I didn't like their base because it was watery and doesn't have a strong spicy, peanuty flavor. There's just a slight hint of peanut and chili, but lacking in body and richness.

Gyoza was a bit more filling than the usual with a thicker skin. The filling has the right balance of scallion-ginger-pork. I like the feeling that it wasn't grainy or meaty like from some other restaurant. It was pretty cheap for its size.

Erra's Ramen House was a hangout/drinking place for most people but it is actually a place for your ramen quick fix. They might not look as posh or as classy as how you imagine, but looks can be deceiving.

This is a gem hiding in crowded Malate. Price is incredibly affordable, given the size of serving and a passable taste.

This Shoyu ramen's soup base is more like a beef mami, the chili and toppings is what gives it a Jap hint.

Place, for this Christmas season, is tolerable. It is an open-area. Really crowded and noisy, but I won't complain since I knew where I'm dining in: not a fancy restaurant.

Waiters are attentive.

I will go back here.

Erra's Ramen serves authentic Japanese ramen at a fraction of the price you are used to. That alone should make this place a must try. Php 90 for a bowl of authentic ramen! we all ordered extra egg (Php 10) and extra pork (Php 20) to add protein to the meal but even if you add those it's only Php 130! The broth was quite good and the noodles just the right chewy. Definitely value for money!

They also serve other types of food (I felt it was a bit too many types but whatever works i guess). They have Filipino breakfast meals like tocilog and tapsilog as well as bar chow like sisig. We tried the sisig and it was good! The onions were cooked just right (not under or overcooked). The meat they used is mostly liver and innards which makes it less oily than other restaurant's sisig (with lots of pork fat).

The place is setup like a carinderia (local eatery) with an al fresco dining area. The dining area was pretty open and street vendors would walk around inside peddling their cigarettes or snacks (a bit of a security concern and nuisance). Because of the number of people, the place was a bit hot especially after drinking hot soup. More fans would be nice.

The place was packed at dinner time because they also served affordable beer and some people were there just to have some drinks. When we went back for drinks after going to an event nearby, there were even more people! So much people that the outside tables extended along the street and in front of the open parking lot beside the restaurant.

The most affordable yet so flavorful ramen you could taste. P100 is enough to satisfy your hungry tummy. Erra's is an authentic Jap eatery as their noodles are made by the Japanese owner himself.

Tried their Shoyu Ramen for only [P60]; and my sister tried their bestselling Tantamen which only costs [P90]. Just add 20 if you want additional pork and 10 for egg.

PHP 70 for a bowl of Ramen, not so bad right? Don't expect. I mean, I did just say 70 pesos (go to Ippudo or Ramen Nagi). It's really good for the price. The location is a bit sketchy though. Kanto-style. We went there at 3am so basically what I saw were tables filled with normal people eating ramen, drunk people eating ramen, and people still getting drunk. RAMEN WARS REVIEW: Sidewalk Ramen

This place is literally categorized under Quick Bites in Zomato, which could obviously be interpreted as "no frills food."

When a friend of mine suggested going to a cheap sidewalk ramen place in Malate. I was automatically intrigued because I'd read about it online before plus seen it on the site, so I agreed.

Sure enough, it was literally one of those busy sidewalk open air restaurants with simple tables and chairs scattered about. I was amused when noticing a couple of foreigners scattered about. (They were probably those curious backpacker types who do not fear Manila street food, which was awesome.) Despite it being 4am, the place was packed and lively which was a great sign.

We got some menus (yes they have actual menus) and I couldn't help but grin at the prices - ranging from P60 to P90. With P10 for add-ons. I wasn't starving so opted for the cheapest one, which was shoyu while my friend got some breakfast food.

While looking around, I was amazed cause they even had a pretty legit looking ramen noodle cooker. You know, with those oblong looking sieves and all. I was really curious to see what I was getting myself into but obviously knew that for P60 it would have a thin msg-flavored broth with instant noodles, a piece of pork, super market nori and maybe a fish cake.

I was almost 100% on the dot! No fish cake though. The only thing that really surprised me were the noodles, which were not like instant noodles at all. They were thinner, lighter and over all tasty. I'm still not sure what kind they were but I'd go so far as to say I enjoyed that kind of noodles more than in some overpriced Japanese restaurants. (Blasphemy??) Either way, for P60 I definitely enjoyed it way more than I should have - which was not a bad thing.

I actually ended up finding myself back there a week later, again at 4am with the same friend and my best friend. It was hilarious. I got the tantanmen that time, which was P90. It had a nice spicy kick and I LOVED it. Then a few days later, I gave a friend from San Francisco a tour around the area and we ended up grabbing a midnight snack there - and he loved it!

All I can really say is that this place has great comfort food for that time of the morning after a long night out. I'm giving it a 3.5 over all but just because I'm comparing it to other ramen places. I'd give it a 4.5 if it were under some sort of a "cheap eats/ quick bites/ awesome street food" category. I will not be surprised if I end up dragging along new people back to that place every week. It is late-night comfort food.
