This restaurant is literally a hidden gem because you won't bump into it if you're walking along Pablo Ocampo Street (former Vito Cruz). You can access Dolores Street by walking from Dominga Street or Tramo. I must add that Tramo looks safer than before! But if you'll walk towards Tramo from the restaurant, there's a short and narrow path you have to take towards the end, but once you're through that, the path is much wider. If you want to simply your route, just take Dominga, walking by the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design. If you arrive there and see the laundry business nearby, you know you're at the right place. Dine-in experience is alfresco but was really cozy for us shortly after lunch time on a sunny afternoon. There was even some breeze to enjoy! You order by writing down on a sheet of paper. No smoking. Restaurant is unisex.

Thai Milk Tea was typically delicious and the price was so impressive I had to remind myself not to order too much. It's served in a mason jar and you are given the option of adding pearls. Eating Thai Spring Rolls was like eating lumpiang shanghai; also packed with a crunch but with a twist of vermicelli. Doon BBQ Ribs was perfect! I could've had this dish alone but we were so excited to try so much for our first visit because of the price range of this restaurant! And the Chicken Satay is what most would probably expect, and yes, it was good too!

Service time was really quick for all orders!

A dainty hole-in-the-wall that’s worth coming back for. It’s everything you want from a Thai resto: affordable, lots of choices, hearty, and delicious.

I tried their Tom Yum Goong. It smelled and tasted delicious, but in my opinion, lacked the spicy Tom Yum taste I was looking for. Their bagoong rice was good as well. The rice wasn’t very salty, which I appreciate. All meals are of course best paired with Thai milk tea.

Do consider going here in off-peak hours as there are only a few tables. And consider the weather too. I wouldn’t recommend going here on a rainy day because the space is open.

Staff was nice and accommodating. Iam pregnant and the owner even helped me parked. The food was great and the price made it really affordable. It was my second time here.

sweet yellow curry is good with rice and spring roll. also the milktea has the right amount of sweetness, very natural like Thai teas.

One of the best thai food ive tasted! The pad thai and the beef green curry is the best! However, the eating area is outdoors so i hope that they can find a place indoors for customers to eat; especially when its raining.

We came here to eat their bagoong rice but unfortunately it was not available during our visit. Instead, we got pad thai, salted fish rice and sweet and spicy beef. The pad thai came with a sunny side up egg which I think was odd but it was very delicious. The serving of the salted egg fried rice was so big it can feed four people. Taste-wise it was just okay. The beef dish was also good, not too sweet nor spicy, I do recommend this dish.

Authentic Thai food flavors at great value. Fresh ingredients and consistent food quality. Must try their Fish tamarind, Tom Yum goong, Beef basil and Thai milk tea. You must not miss this place when in LaSalle/Benilde area.

More than the aesthetic and chill vibe the place gave when I went there at 6 PM after work, I really loved the speed of the service and the accommodating disposition of the staff. Their Pad Thai is probably one of the best ones I've tasted to date! The tartness of the tamarind really sang through the rich sweetness that makes up the sauce. Will definitely come back to try their other stuff very very soon as this humble restaurant tucked in the heart of Vito Cruz, which is conveniently very near to where I live, has become my new go-to Thai restaurant.

By far the closest to the legit Pad Thai when it comes to taste. Also, their Thai milk tea and spring rolls are really good.

Service is good and prices are reasonable.

Location is great, not too crowded when we arrived there (which I liked and found it relaxing)

Serving time is just around 7-10mins and they served it hot 👍

Highly recommended if you are craving for Thai food but are on a budget. I will definitely go back.

Authentic Thai food at an affordable price. Highly recommend the chicken pad thai, chicken satay, and bagoong rice with tamarind pork. Plus points for the super yummy Thai milk tea and brewed coffee! Service was also quick and friendly.

Pro tip: Come at around 7:30 PM when it’s cooler and quieter outside. (It’s a great, lowkey date night spot.)

I tried their Thai Milk Tea (65), Fresh Tamarind Juice (55), Thai Spring Rolls (90), Pad Thai (150), and Green Curry (165).

- Thai Milk Tea is good, but it's too sweet for my taste, so I added water. 4/5
- Fresh Tamarind Juice is great! 5/5
- I'm a big fan of spring rolls, but not of their Thai Spring Rolls; it's too dry. 2/5
- Their Pad Thai makes me happy. ☺☺☺ 5/5
- Their Green Curry is definitely the best curry I've ever tasted!!! 6/5

You can choose between Chicken, Pork, or Beef for the toppings of some of their dishes like Pad Thai and Curry. Their servings are good for 1 person, but you'll definitely get full. I suggest eat here with your family or friends to try more dishes. Their plain rice costs 15 pesos; it's rare to find restaurants selling a cup of rice for a price this low.

I like the outside seating since not much vehicles pass through the road beside it. Their service is also good!

The menu here is not updated since some of their prices slightly increased.

Looking forward to eating here again since I want to try their other curries and noodle dishes.

50php thai milk tea?! I'm hooked. Of course it's not the "w0w tHiS iS sO life-changing" version of a thai milk tea but for the cheap price, it is really good. I love the pad thai and I wish there is more because I still felt bitin. Overall, love the food and the ambience of the place. It's so weird that such place exists in Dominga with all the dirtiness and the hustle and bustle.

So finally tried Doon Thai after seeing it popping up on my Facebook news feed many times. Located 5-10 mins walk from Taft Avenue La Salle/CSB area.
Ordered the Pad Thai (135php), Chilli Chicken(145php), Garlic Rice(25php) and Thai Milk Tea(50php). The food was great, just the right level of spice in the Chilli Chicken dish, added chilli powder to the Pad Thai, which made it complete. Prices are very budget friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

Best thai restaurant hidden in the streets of Vito Cruz! Did I mention it was super affordable?!

Personal Favorites: Pad Thai, Chicken BBQ !!!! and DO NOT FORGET THEIR THAI ICED TEA!!!

I’ve been there several times already and their food is always consistently delicious hahaha but their service can be slow so don’t forget to bring a lot of patience when you come in super hungry 😊

Probably one of the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had!!!!! For the price of 135, you get really good quality Pad Thai. However, they made their servings smaller than they were before.

Okay experience!

I'm familiar with Thai food so in my opinion the food is just okay, it's an okay experience. I think the restaurant is more on filipino taste than thai. We ordered spring roll which is crispy, pad thai (thai noodles) which is sweet and spicy. We also ordered Thai green curry (chicken) which is amazing; the spiciness is on point. The Thai iced tea is also okay.

The service is great! The ambiance is fantastic, it's peaceful and quiet. More importantly it's BUDGET friendly.

Food, staff, ambiance are 5.0! However, it can be hot sometimes and there’s no separate place for smokers and non-smokers. :( Hope they could improve on it.

I absolutely love Thai food! My personal favorite is green Thai curry chicken which I go for most of the time which is almost every week now. Probably the best Pad thai noodles I had. And it was the first time I got to try their sticky rice with mango which is AMAZING!

Definitely a hidden gem in taft!!!

Tried their doon chicken bbq (not included in the photo because it was damn good af), their bagoong rice and what we most loved is their pad thai noodles!! Like legit it's their bomb. It doesn't cost that much tho it costs us less than 500 pesos for 3 dishes (drinks included) and oh also their thai milk tea is good!!!

The ambience is nice, quiet and they play chill musics

Overall it's good we will come back here once the classes starts.
