one of the best food places near la salle taft!
I tried their bagnet sisig and it was really good. Though it was more on the spicy side but it was tasty. I would come back to try other variants.
The food here is great! The budget meals will be sure to fill you up--my favorite has always been the Original. Remember to ask for the soup and try to go during non-peak hours--during peak hours you'll have crowds of drunkish, noisy college kids and the place is too small for them to be ignored. (It will get so deafening that you will either leave or yell at them. The staff will not intervene. Yelling at them works, in my experience.)
[2019-01-03] This is one of the stops in the ‘Taft Eats’ vlog of a foodie friend. I met up with him after going to my bank branch to pickup my ARC card. Though there are tables outside, it is still better to eat inside since it is literally a side walk where a lot of things are beyond the control of the proprietor (like the smells, noises, etc.) We opted to eat ouside due to the dimly lit interior of the restaurant which can make taking a video more difficult.
8065 Bagnet is a no frills restaurant that caters to your craving of crispy, crunchy and yet tender slices of pork.
I will have this to say though, this is not legit Bagnet - this is more like Lechon Kawali. Flavor is still good but I feel like it lacks something; the authenticity of the Bagnet flavor is not there.
Something to praise highly though is the service. Top notch! They are quick, attentive and always serves with a smile.
Finally, food is cheap (fit for students) but the serving is more than enough.
Will definitely come back when I get that craving again.
Will always be one of my favorites in taft. Their sisig bagnet has that extra kick of spiciness but still bearable. Also, their sinigang bagnet is a must try if you want some soup on your rice.
I really love this place even if it may be a bit full at times. I always order their original bagnet which I could say is really one the best bagnet meals I have tasted. Although sometimes the staff tends to forget the free soup that comes with it which is why still have to call their attention just to follow up on the soup. But overall, i’m always satisfied whenever I leave the restaurant.
The food and ambiance was great. The location was very strategic because it is near La Salle. It is also very affodable for students. Overall, 8065 Bagnet is a must try restaurant in taft.

Good polace if you're craving for a classic Bagnet. The place also offers a modern twist to the Bagnet recipe, i.e. the bagnet with gata. Serving is ok and I I love the spicy gata bagnet. Good place to grab for a quick dinner.
If you need to get your bagnet fix in the Taft area, 8065 Bagnet is just the place for you. Its bohemian atmosphere (read: ghetto) just tells you that you don't need a ambience to get some bad cholesterol in your system.
You can't go wrong with the budget meal (with rice and soup) at Php125 (original bagnet) and Php130 (flavored bagnet). If you are tired of getting the original, I'd recommend you try either the dinuguan or kare-kare. Some of my friends swear by the Bagnet binagoongan and sinigang. The bagnet has cripsy skin, melt in your mouth fat component and tender meat part.
Parking is always a problem. Hello it's Taft area, no!
And seating is a little cramped. But the service staff is fast and quick.
Love their sinigang! Which a single serving of rice will not be enough hehe. But other dishes are good also. I swear. Definitely price-worthy meals!
Ive always wanted to visit this place but they’re always packed whenever I try to dine, so I finally called their hotline for a delivery.
I had their bagnet sisig and it’s probably the best tasting sisig I’ve ever had!! It’s priced at 205 and they have a delivery charge of 50 and additional 5 php for the take out container. This order is good for sharing, 2-3 people.
Will definitely order again!
Deadly and Delicious! I always look forward to trying their different bagnet flavors, but somehow I always end up getting the original. As long as they keep the skin crunchy, it's all good!
I tried their new off-menu Adobo Bagnet. It's pretty good and worth trying, but of course, don't expect the skin to be that crispy. The sauce is great!
The design and the structure of the place is just right, not too luxurious as well as not too unattractive to eat to. It has this comfy feel to it.
But then there are langaws roaming around wanting to take a taste from our food. Iww.
We ordered bagnet sisig and bagoong rice.
Bagnet sisig doesn't have that any unique taste that can differentiate it from other sisigs. The dish is just ordinary. Feels like it was just reheated. Can't feel the 'bagnet' in it. Can't even chew some of the chunks. But yeah it tastes decent and the bagong rice is superb.
The staffs were friendly and serves you water right away and everything you might need, tissue, spoon, fork, sabaw and water with ice. Good service.
If you want to satisfy your cravings on any bagnet meal on a budget meal, go here! They have most of the bagnet menus that are tasty. The price is also good especially for students, it's affordable yet worth the taste.
The ambiance is so calm and old fashioned. The food was great but quite expensive the service is good since we are only the customer in the area. but overall experience is GOOD.😁
8605 Bagnet. A hole-in-the-wall restaurant that specialises in everything bagnet.
They are the first restaurant to offer bagnet dishes, others are copycats. I've been to their Makati branch multiple times, same with their Manila branch. Imagine how many bagnet dishes I've eaten in my lifetime.
I always order the classic. Who can resist this artery clogging twice fried crispy pork goodness? I know, i can't. These deep fried babies are sinful and extremely mouth-watering.
Bagnet doesn't need a long review, the name itself would suffice.
Have been to this bagnet stop countless times during our college years!!!! Aside from the original bagnet, one should also try the worth revisiting flavors - sinigang na bagnet, binagoongan, spicy gata and my personal favorite kare-kare! Crispy bagnet on every dish yet affordable. Kare-kare sauce paired with their bagoong is heavenly while the native sinigang and spicy gata are both mouthwatering. However, the place is quite small and most of the time jampacked especially at dinner. But hey! there is a free wifi over the place. Staff aren't so welcoming but nevermind as long as they do fast service.
Good and affordable. Decent serving size. Soup seems dubious, though. Kinda scared to try it. Anyway if you get take out, they won't give you any so problem solved.
I've been to the original 8065 bagnet in San Antonio numerous times. Just wanted to try this one. It has a more vibrant, young and clean feel to it compared to the original. Definitely geared towards the student crowd. The food has the same quality though. My favorite is the bagnet curry. And don't be shy to order extra rice and the budget meal serving is big..

When you ask someone around Taft on where's a good place to eat around here, more times than not, Bagnet 8065 would be mentioned because why wouldn't it be? It's one of those places that gives off a home-cooked vibe which is also justified by their interiors. There's not much to choose from on their menu, but on the bright side, that just simply means the sooner you get to try everything. Every variety of bagnet is appetizing the more you decide what to pick but whatever you may choose, it's a guarantee that you'd be satisfied. Even with a limited space and limited menu items, this is one of those restos you don't mind having the same meals over and over in.

I went here during my second year of college with some friends. If you're looking for simple Filipino food, this would be it. It's really just like a house-turned restaurant that has never seen the need to expand. They stay true to their name, offering mainly various types of bagnet for their customers. It's really a "what you see is what you get" kind of place. Aside from the slow-ish service and small space, there isn't much to say. Give it a shot, you might like it. Their food is actually pretty good if you're looking for simple with a budget.
Bagnet has always been pretty famous for those studying in colleges/universities around Taft. Affordable and chill, people go here for inuman or tambay sessions. You could see a variety of visitors - from mid 30s who just got off at work, to freshmen students trying to unwind.
With 115php you can already score a budget meal of lechon kawali, rice, and soup.
Precaution: this place is recently plagued with complaints about sanitation. If you're sensitive about neatness, heads up!
I have been here a few times to order Curry Bagnet to-go as this place is almost always full. Their bagnet is great, not too oily yet still as crispy and guilt-inducing.
They have a small, mini-function room upstairs. A friend celebrated her birthday there once and we had all their different options of chicken, fish and bagnet. Their chicken is great, but I would stick to the bagnet.
The place is interestingly designed, and is very hip. Their service is great and in general, this place is a must-try in the area.
One of the places I love to eat at. I always order sinigang since it's my favorite, and it's also not that expensive which always makes me come back to order the same thing. Although it sometimes opens at 12:30PM, but closes quite late compared to restaurants around the area.
At first glance, the restaurant looks old fashioned and well maintained, as you enter, the ambience feels calm and joyful as you see those hungry customers chowing down and having fun with their friends or colleagues.
As we sat down with my girlfriend, we were quickly approached by the waiter, although he didn't show much emotion, he was quick and straightforward as soon as we ordered,I ordered their Bagnet Curry and my girlfriend ordered their Chicken Curry, we waited for 5 minutes until the food came, at first glance the food looks appetizing, as I took my first bite I fell in love, as a curry fanatic, it gave me goosebumps becuase the bagnet complements well with the curry, and the serving size is okay, I also took a bite of their chicken curry, but it's not that good(needs more cream and curry to it), and it's really filling, but it's not for the weak hearted as it's mostly pork fat, but you can never complain since you're eating bagnet, and for our total dine in bill, we only spent 240 for the two meals, which is a budget saver.
So in my opinion, the restaurant is good, 4/5. Will come back again soon!
Serving takes time, but it's worth it! I recommend their kare-kare and spicy gata bagnet. Don't worry if they look jam packed from the outside at times, they have a spacious second floor for more customers!
Thank you Bagnet akala ko matatagalan pa ung delivery niyo hehehe super bilis wla png 30mins. Init pa ng foods. Order ulet ako next tym tnx.
I always pass by this resto at Leon Guinto st. and how come I didn't notice this. For the first time dining here, I ordered their original bagnet and it comes with a side dish - green mangoes and bagoong. I usually don't like to eat green mangoes but this one tastes good, and their bagoong is sweet, which is great. And their gravy has some kind of weird taste but not that bad. At the end of your meal, it will give you an "umay" feeling, but overall it was worth a try. I will come back here again to try their other items on their menu.
Would have given it a 5 if I didn't reek of the smell of meat or if the restroom was a bit cleaner. Though the place and service was great overall. It's the food I'm after, and though I have a bit of anxiety when it comes to calorie dense food like bagnet, it is definitely worth the cheat meal. The dinuguan and original bagnet is delicious! Kare kare was good also, but not the best of the dishes on the menu. Would definitely come back again, but maybe to the Makati branch as Manila's too far away. Maybe have a branch in Pasig or Paranaque? Haha.
When I first tried here, I was with my whole block and it's all our first time. Luckily there are not that many people in the restaurant. For first timers like me, I ordered the bagnet sisig since I like sisig. And I can tell you, it's very delicious!!!!! Worth sacrificing for those people who's high blood :) Hahaha kidding. A little spicy but bearable. I suggest they expand their place now since the people eating there are increasing everyday :)

It was my first time to eat bagnet and it didn't fail me. The place was crowded but I liked the interior. The price was okay since the serving is quite on a heavy side. It's the bagoong rice that they need to revved up a little. It didn't taste like bagoong. Sisig bagnet was the best so far. 👌
Pricey but very satisfying! I couldn't get tired of eating their food! If not for health issues I would want to eat here regularly since I enjoy Filipino dishes so much
I got curious of this place so I gave it a try. I opted for the Original meal that costs 120++ Php. The amount of bagnet was enough to make you full and there were slices of green mangoes with bagoong. Definitely worth the try.
I miss this place in Taft. Their bagnets are to die for. I always order the kare-kare bagnet because I like kare-kare so the moment I tasted it, I knew I would definitely go back there. The place is usually jampacked so be there early.
The food's affordable and delicious. But as for the commodity of the place, it needs to be expanded because it tends to be very crowded and is always full especially during lunch hours.
Affordable and delicious meals - that's what 8065 Bagnet offers. Their bagnet fusions are a must try but I'm a loyalist to their original bagnet meal. Their budget meals contains a good serving of their bagnet, cup of rice, green mangoes with shrimp paste (depends), and a bowl of soup. The place is usually packed around lunch and dinner time so I suggest going there around 3pm-5pm.
This needs a bigger space to accomodate big groups. Place is crowded during lunch time. 3 stars for their bagnet! Would come again to try all their bagnet specialty.
One of my favorite places to have lunch when I was in college. Place is homey however not all staffs are accommodating. When I feel like dipping my bagnet on pork sauce, I order Original Bagnet but when I want something else, I go with Bagnet Spicy Gata.
Craving for a Bagnet? 8065 bagnet is the answer! Variety of bagnet are the food they can offer. One of my favorite is the Kare-kare bagnet because of the thickness of kare-kare sauce and yummy bagoong. It's really delicious.
Personally, best place to eat Bagnet. Always an empty plate when I'm here. (Pretty affordable too!) Thank God I keep getting lost in Taft and discovering places with some of my DLSU friends :)
This will always be one of my favorite restaurants at Taft! My favorite is the Original Bagnet served with rice and green mango with bagoong. What I loved about this dish was the crispy skin! The pork was enough to pair with the rice. I was able to try the Bagoong rice as well as the Sinigang Bagnet - I loved it though I prefer to eat the original often. I also liked their Cinnamon roll - it's good enough if you want to have something sweet after that savory dish. They are inconsistent in terms of their servings because sometimes they forget to serve the green mango along with our dish. The place is so-so. There is a limited space to accommodate the customers on peak hours. The lighting is also not good - the place is too dark while eating unless you are seated beside the windows. Often times, it doesn't smell pleasant at all (soapy smell). Nonetheless, thumbs up for their super fast internet! Not so good customer service. They are not very attentive. Another comment: sometimes they do not issue an official receipt. Note: always ask for an OR!
I love the food, very tasty. The place is really just a hassle if you want to dine in. It's either full or you have to eat outside. Although, I still admire the various choices of bagnet meals in their menu! Like the dinuguan one, cuz i like my bagnet drenched in pig blood HAHAHA
My bias: don't you know it
