Just went back here after so many years (my last visit was when I was still in college). It was recently renovated and I'd love to come back again.
Food Ordered:
Classic Sumo Meal (P330)
This is good for two. Chose Chicken Karaage and Prawn and Veggie Tempura. It comes with rice and Iced Tea. This meal was super sulit when you come in two - you get to eat 2 viands with veggies on the side.
I like to go to Tokyo Tokyo when I need a quick Japanese food craving satisfied. The sriracha beef ramen is tasty, filling and at a good price. The chicken karaage was nice too. Japanese food that satisfies and is good on the wallet.
We came here dinner time around 7pm. Waited for parking for about 15 minutes since there’s only 4 parking spots but only 3 are ‘parkable’.
There’s only 1 staff who’s courteous enough to assist everyone’s request (ie rice refill, delivering of order, etc). I wasn’t able to get her name.
August 3, 2018 Wow! I had no high expectations going into Tokyo Tokyo but was I ever so pleasantly surprised. I ordered the following:
Regular Size Black Garlic Ramen - for 210 pesos this is such a good deal! The hot broth was milky black garlicky. The noodles were al dente which I liked a lot and there was an abundance of green onions and crispy garlic bits in the soup. Of course the meat wasn't plentiful but the pork slice that I had was tasty tender. The egg was ok too. I also saw seaweed and bean sprouts.
Cucumber Lemon drink - they don't offer any other beverages except for this and strawberry tea. I was so hesitant to order a drink because I was afraid it would taste too sweet. But no! This drink was so cool and fresh tasting. There were also slivers of cucumber that I fished out with a fork and chomped on satisfyingly.
The service was good, a wait staff got me some disposable utensils for my use. But they won't give you paper napkins unless you ask for it. In other fast food places, they automatically give it to you along with your order. I thought it could just be that they forgot mine but I saw the other table and their food was also served to them with no napkins. I also noticed that they don't have service water and they also don't sell bottled water so maybe next time I'll bring in my own.
Service
Sometimes the wait time is very long but the food quality seems worth the wait.
Chicken-Nomiyaki
This gives so much value for money! Not only is it delicious but it's also huge, plenty, and simply enormous! I was so overwhelmed I had to take it out, eat the rest at home, and feel overwhelmed again! The meat has almost no fat.
Wagyu Cheeseburger
This is an okay choice for the tasty beef pattie but I don't think it should be sold at its current price. But then again, it's wagyu. But, having simpler beef elsewhere just makes more sense.
We'd always choose the sumo meal, with pork tonkatsu and beef misono with potato balls. The beef wrap was so appealing on the photo but when you get to see and eat it, it's not that great. The place is bigger since they expanded and it looks brighter than it used too.

+3.5
My sister and I were looking for a quick bite before going home. Tokyo Tokyo was just across DLSU, and we were tired of the other fast food options available, so we went here.
What we tried:
Beef Misono Ala Carte - the beef was buttery and a bit too oily, but dipped in the soy sauce and paired with the pickled radish, it turned out okay
Big Chicken Teriyaki Bento Meal - I was very surprise at how big this one really was. You can order one meal and add an extra rice and it would be good for two. The chicken was surprisingly not dry for a fastfood joint, so. not bad tokyo tokyo, This bento meal comes with a dessert and their signature red iced tea.
Creamy Cheese Katsudon ala Carte - This one was small compared to the big chicken teriyaki. At first glance, the pork is unrecognizable because it's buried under cream and cheese. Flavor wise, it was good though.
I've been here before and tried the ramen and prawn tempura bento, and the experience was similar. tempura was a little oily.
In general, Tokyo Tokyo has a higher price compared to the usual fast food chains, but it has more options, and some healthier dishes. The staff in this particular branch was a bit rude though, from the cashier to the waitstaff.
This is not the first time I paid a visit in this branch since it's very near in CSB (my school). I usually order Pork Tonkatsu and Large Red Iced Tea with my friends, but since I'm alone, I tried their bento meal. I ordered Cheese Tonkatsu, and of course, Red Iced Tea. The cheese is oozing when it was served, I was also surprised that the one piece tonkatsu was plentiful. The sautéed vegetables are just perfect. The flavors are festive in my mouth that I can't even hide my smile. The reason why I gave this only a 3.5 is because of their slow service, considering it's 2pm and it's not already a peak hour for lunch breaks. But, I would still visit Tokyo Tokyo whenever I'm craving for Jap food!
Im surprise this branch is not too crowded and its spacious compared to sm manila , moa , and sm bacoor branch and food here doesn't take too long to be serve unlike in other branches this branch has a very good service and staff ?
Been a regular customer of Tokyo Tokyo simply because their food is simple and really affordable especially when I want something Japanese. I love their Beef Misono meal and their Red Iced Tea. The place is nice and clean and convenient for students for quick but heavy meals.
