The ambiance is nicer if you were seated inside (yes, they offer more spaces inside, not the ones in front). They play K-Pop music.
Service is good. One thing I can comment is that a staff didin't let us sit not on the front part of the restaurant but on their larger space inside because the staff said there's a construction on that part (but there's none, it was clean and perfect).
You should try the Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Seasoned Chicken BBQ, Jowls Meat, and all of their beef variants. Their side dishes are good as well, especially the kimchi, steamed egg, japchae. Meat quality is the typical meat you'll get. Not bad.

We started lunch with steamed egg which was fluffy and light. Then we had kimchi, japchae, cabbage salad, fish cake and soup as appetizers and enjoyed them as well with meat. For mains, we got one serving each of skirt meat, seasoned pork neck, cheek, rack, pork belly, spicy pork bulgogi, jowls meat, thin pork belly, spicy chicken bbq, seasoned chicken bbq, and beef plate.
Like in any Korean bbq place, you don’t need to be a master chef to cook. My husband did most of the cooking and cut the meat with scissors to serve. We were pretty satisfied with the tender and tasty pieces of meat that came out with beautiful char. Meat with a hint of smoky notes and those marinated with sweet and spice stood out most for me. 🙂

We had their unli with beef, and overall it was positive experience. I don't think their meat is actually anything special, I don't really feel like I had anything that stood out meat-wise. However, their sides were nice, and the fact that everything, including the steamed egg and tofu stew was refillable is a plus. Their japchae was nice, their tofu stew was nice, and their steamed egg was nice. Service was pretty good, I never really had to chase after any waiter because they regularly came to our table to either change the grill or top it up with water, or refill anything we needed. It's also good that they have a valet here, as parking in remedios circle can be challenging but that makes it easier.

It’s now obvious that numerous Korean BBQ restaurants are still booming and even hyper than before. In each places, you can spot a Korean BBQ restaurant that will caught your attention. Last weekend, we went to a newly-opened Korean BBQ restaurant in Malate. Last year, we had a staycation at Hop Inn Malate and we had our dinner in Uncle Hwangsojip Restaurant. That time, Fantastic Chef isn’t around yet. What I noticed in Malate was there’s a lot of Korean restos around the area! So if ever you’re looking for a Korean BBQ resto food crawl, Malate is the place to be.
Excellent food and accommodating staff! We will definitely go back here. This is our first choice when it comes to samgyup restaurant. Excellent ambiance too!
Went here with my HS Friends, and our experience was really great. What I loved about this place is the variety of meat that they offer – they don't just serve the same type of meat that only varying marinades, they really serve different types from various parts of meat! How fantastic right? Also, their side dishes are really tasty 😋 especially the Japchae. The service has its flaws, but it was really great! The ate's and kuya's there are so approachable and patient. Will definitely go back as this now became my fave samgyup-place 😚
One of the best unlimited Korean BBQ places we've tried. The meats are delicious and using a charcoal grill enhances the flavors superbly. I love that their meats come in three layered trays which maximize the tablespace. They also serve unlimited cheese sauce and prior to melting the cheese, you can clearly see that they used mozzarella chunks.
Well ventilated yung place. May anticipation sa request ng mga customer. Most of the time, hindi na need tawagin kasi staff na mismo kusang lalapit at magtatanong. The specialty of the restaurant is that there is no restriction for any kind of meat such as pork. I can taste the spice used. It is a must-try and worth every penny!

If we have to cook only one kind of meat from all the choices, we go with the pork skirt meat. This is because this isn't usually offered in Korean bbq places let alone in unlimited Korean bbq places in Metro Manila.
The first time I ate such a kind of meat cut was back in South Korea. Our family friend, who is a South Korean, told me that such kind of meat is typically reserved for royalty in the past. This is because only a small portion of this can be found in each pig. It's located between the rib part and the pork belly.
We can all agree that we like this the most. It's juicy, tender, and flavorful that you don't need to use any dipping sauce for it. And with the special marinade, it was made even more delicious. So, yeah! We recommend that you eat this at your heart's content.

GREAT FOOD! GREAT SERVICE! My favorites are their chap chae and coleslaw!It’s good to note as well that their cabbage doesn’t have an after taste that I usually got from other korean bbq restaurants.
Also, they’re giving out cheese for FREE and can also get a refill. I am actually not a fan of cheese for meats but this one’s different: I loved it!

Ambiance: 4/5 - Could be because 'di masyado crowded at that time we were there. Grill was almost close to your face and table has small space so everything is crowded. They also have 2 grill types; the other one daw is for the marinated meats. Ventilation was okay.

The ssamjang is so tasty! This is one of the best ssamjang I’ve ever tasted. It is perfect with grilled regular meat! More to that, it is best when it is eaten with fresh lettuce! This is one of the good things I noticed about their lettuce, it is fresh. The marinated meat tastes good when it is dipped in sauce. Also, they serve unlimited cheese which also perfect for every grilled meat! Certainly, this is the authentic Korean barbecue experience that you have been searching for long. Every single penny spent is definitely worth it!
I love how clean and well-maintained the place and facilities are. No insects, flies particularly, hanging around to ruin my appetite. The restaurant is also well lit and ventilated. The whole place is air-conditioned. Also, there's an exhaust hood for each table which keeps the smoke from getting everywhere. Further, grills worked well and the staff has the initiative to change the pans from time to time for us to enjoy good quality grilled meat. The sides dishes are very tasty and delicious. They also have different grilling pans depending on the meat we are grilling. They approached us and told us about it. Overall, it was a 100/00 experience.
I personally love the vibe and ambiance of the restaurant (not to mention the utterly inviting smell of the meat being grilled - the soul of Korean Barbecue!). All of their staff, from the security guard to the waiters and manager, are very hands-on to their customers. They are very approachable too! They greeted us with warm smiles upon our entrance and had us escorted to our table. They also assign a particular staff who will look over and attend to your needs and requests. There was no need to raise our hand to ask someone to come over. The staff assigned to us was just around the corner and he knew it if we need something. Every time we turn our heads, he's there to ask what is it that he can do for us. As for the food, we were initially served with the side dishes the moment we settled in our corner. After a while, they brought our first three meat selection that we grilled and gracefully devoured in no time. The best thing about it? There's cheese dip!
I can definitely say that Fantastic Chef is number one on my list for affordable Korean BBQ Buffet. It's bang for buck and you really get your money's worth ... even more if I may say so.

Mind you that their meat selection is not cheap. It's real pork and not paper thin pork. The chicken is so good, my Mom had two servings. The beef, sigh. It was really good too.
The side dishes are Japchae, Kimchi, fishcake, pickles, muchim, coleslaw, steamed egg, Bean paste stew and lettuce.

You know what made this distinct than the other samgyeop restos? It's bc not only they focus on the flavor, they also serve varieties of meat that isn't usually served in most samgyeop houses. This is the first time I tried that doesn't entirely focus on pork belly and beef kasi truthfully, too much of those is nakakasawa na. And I'm happy na I found something different in Fantastic Chef.

We saw the place from a Facebook post and wanted to try it since it mentioned that the chef was awarded with a Michelin star. The place was spacious and big. The staff were very attentive to all our requests. I personally love the meats whether it is plain or marinated. There’s a particular marinated meat that really stood out (forgot the name lol) - it had this smokey feel which I really love and look for in meats. Their kimchi was one of the best kimchi I’ve tasted, not to sweet yet not too sour.. Would definitely go back and eat here 👍
Guess what? We discovered a new gem in Malate Manila for samgyupsal lovers! Fantastic Chef is a newly opened restaurant serving 12 types of premium meats and outstanding side dishes that both Koreans and Filipinos will love!. They have a spacious, well-lighted and well air-conditioned space for dining. It's simple yet very elegant at the same time! Some of their wall accents include soju and Samgyupsal wall decors.

Had dinner again here again, the banchans improved! Not as sweet as our first visit here. The beef was also as excellent, we tried the marinated pork neck and it was great! The place also improved, it wasn’t as small. Staff were still friendly and approachable. It is now included in our top picks for unli kbbq nights. We will probably return here soon. :)

Had their unlimited pork & beef bbq yesterday. Tables were smaller than standard that we asked a server to have the other banchan put away. The staff were friendly and attentive. Refill was quick. Pork belly wasn’t as good as other korean bbq places, but their thin sliced beef was great. Banchans were too sweet for my taste.

Good service with good quality meat. The selection though could use more work. The area is well-ventilated which helps in lessening the bad smell experience. The weird thing though is that they consider uncooked meat as leftovers, which in other restos, it's uneaten cooked meat that is considered as leftovers.
The price is worth it for the quality of food and service we received! A little apprehensive at first because of the location but they have parking available for their customers and an on duty guard. Would definitely recommend this place!
first time that I’ve heard about this one was through FB. comments about them was good. so, me and my friend tried it a while ago. upon arriving in the location, it was convinient because it was near the main road and can be easily seen. then, there was their friendly guard that accomodate us. the place was not full house a while ago though it was Sunday so we don’t need to wait for our turn. we were accomodated by their staff named Lee, which I highly appreciate and recommended. He was so approachable and hands on in assisting us in whatever that we request. food wise, excellent! ambience was good. appealing, instagrammable, and good ventilation. staffs were smiling througout our stay there. all of them were accomodating. the only concern that I might suggest would be thr parking area, cars were too close toneach othet given that they have a limited space for it but maybe they could find ways to improve it. kudos to this samgyupsal house. will definitely come back.😁
So good! Place is nice and clean, complimentary side dishes were generous and prepared well, meats were fresh and delicious. You can tell the owner is hands-on. Even the waiters are all pleasant and well-trained.

Our group got loads of Korean flavor last night. We had access to unlimited Samgyupsal and other Korean barbecue meats. When every corner now serves this kind of concept, Fantastic Chef can compete and hopefully gets your loyalty.
Their main difference is in the presentation. They serve you 12 kinds of meat stack together in 4 sets, 9 sides and their own concoction of melted cheese. In your own personal plate, you have quick access to three kinds of dip.
The service here as well is warm and hospitable. Their staff is trained to attend on your every need, may it be just water or requesting them to replace the grill. It’s amazing that their energy was high the entire night.
I suggest getting the marinated meats. Besides being well seasoned, the cuts are thick and lean, without much fat. I enjoyed the chicken and beef options the most.
If you’re in the area, I suggest giving them a chance to serve you. They offer all that I mentioned for just Php 499/pax. Note though that Fantastic Chef charges Php 200 additional per person if you leave a significant amount of meat on your table.

PRICE: Reasonable and very affordable.
SPACE: It has a really tiny store. I heard that they were just renovating few floors on top of the first one, so for the meantime you just need to make do of the place. Saw one little cockroach too (on the walls)
AMBIANCE: It's really comparable to a dine out with friends. Perfect ambiance if you bring your friends along with you! It has korean songs playing in the background. (Majimakchodom-mak-mak-majimakchodom ✨💕)
FOOD: I dare you to taste it yourselves. I've been to Korea, went to POPULAR restaurants but I haven't had anyone compared to the KIMCHI of this restaurant. My boyfriend ain't a fan of Kimchi, but the recipe for that side dish was superbly good.
Pork/Beef tasted the same as the other restaurants I've been with. Unlimited Side dishes (kimchi, japchae, coleslaw (Korean), Radish, fish cakes, steamed eggs). You can also ask for cheese! Yay!
SERVICE: Superb service! Fast and reliable! You're not done yet, but they are preparing the next sets! Highly recommended! I usually don't give out large tips, but they've earned it! 💕

Food: 5/5 tastes super yummy. meats are fresh and plenty of side dishes. Marinated meats and chicken also tastes good. It's more like a cheese sauce I was probably expecting something better but it tastes good.
Customer service: 5/5 very attentive and polite. If you asks for meats they will immediately give the refills.
Ambiance: 4/5 Place is a bit small with good ventilation unlike 2 branches of Samgyupsalamat that we've been which are very warm. The confort room is poorly maintained. I hope they have someone who checks it from time to time to clean it. Parking space is a bit of a challenge it only has 3 slots parking in front of the resto. When you park few steps away from the restaurant someone will ask you to pay P40 right away.

Fantastic Chef is now my go-to place when I feel the need to eat samgyup or mag-ala korean. (Lalo na pag blockbuster ang pila sa The Premier Samgyupsal) Very authentic korean feels lalo na sa food and ambiance ng resto. Not your typical unli-samgyup resto na medjo lasang "commercialize" na yung mga meat a.k.a. puro sauce na lang tapos pag niluto, fat lahat. Most of the staff are approachable and accomodating. Mabagal lang yung refill ng meat and after your initial 3meats order, 2meats na lang per refill. Unli cheese rin and yung banchan although few lang compared to other samgyup place, feel na feel mo na hindi tinipid - luto at lasang korean talaga! for the unlimited pork, chicken and beef na PHP 549.. swak na, pak pa! 👌🏼
One of my go-to korean grill places whenever I’m in the area. From their pork section and until to their chicken and beef. You won’t go wrong in any of their meat selections! Money well spent for you get quality sides and protein. Two thumbs up for this place!

Stumbled into this place because Tongkeunso is on renovation. They got the same owner. We availed the unlimited pork, chicken & beef for Php 550.
