My father has been eating here since he was in his 20s, the authenticity and great experience of korean food always keeps us coming back. To this date this my highest rated korean restaurant. You must try the Dolsot Bibimbap, Beef Bulgogi and Tempura. Soon you’ll be bringing your future kids to this place.
One of my favorite places to dine at. A well balanced Korean restaurant. The Banchan (side dishes) are fantastic. Meats perfect with the complimentary sauces. Sad that they don't have premium beef choices but they leave that for other neighboring Korean restaurants to serve. The price is reasonable and the ambiance is family friendly. Parking can be a problem so you can ask the security guard at the door where to park.
I've got a secret tip: Try the tempura.
Food is good enough. Service is great, they cook the samgyupsal for you although they don't do unlimited samgyupsal unlike the others in the area.
No rice needed! Just these and I am all good!
If you are a Samgyeopsal fan like me and you love Korean dishes, then dropping by at Korean Palace here in Baguio is a must!
Their side dishes were one of the best! You got plenty of choices! The meats and veggies were fresh and marinated perfectly! I can’t stop digging in, one bite after another!
And they have korean ice cream! 😍 Plus you can have a free photoshoot wearing Korean clothes.
I will surely go back again and again! 👍🏼

Feeling Korean on a flooded day.
Crews and Mr. Security Guard are very accommodating, especially REY a.k.a. REYN.

Korean Palace has an imposing and expressively cultural facade. A solo guard opens doors for visitors, and guides them inside. Parking is limited as it's located at the corner of Adriatico and Remedios Streets in Malate, both busy roads. Inside, the place is charming, feel very traditional, and warm. Staff are quick and friendly.
Was a childhood favorite! Specifically our family dines here almost twice a year!
I recommend the korean bacon.
Place doesn't have parking aside from the street side. However food makes up for it!
Korean Palace was honestly a 2nd Choice to where we were going to eat and I must say, It didn't fail to impress. I had a tasteful time eating in this place. I love how the Korean Palace was able to give a perfect example of good Korean Bbq! I have to say that it made my tummy real full after the whole endeavor! It's a great place to eat with friends and family, or even by yourself, if you feel like pigging out once and a while! Korean Palace is a must eat! 👌
#WeekdatesWithDad The bill totaled P810 but let me explain to you why it was worth it. Coming back home from a vacation in Seoul, I greatly enjoyed eating in Korean Palace because it reminded me of the homy setting and numerous family owned restaurant choices. The strong yet enhancing spicy flavors Korean food brings is what I greatly appreciated. It might be an over exaggeration to discredit Korean food because they are labeled too spicy, in my opinion it has heightened the taste of the dish.
Dad ordered Galbijim, P390.
I ordered dolsot bibimbap, P420. There was a lot of rice in the bibimbap that my dad didn't need to order rice for his ulam dish! Furthermore, the bowl was still sizzling so I mixed the ingredients and the beef quickly cooked with a fresh brown color! It was a wonderful and easy to eat experience for me.
The Korean television also showcased some interesting topics happening in Korea.
If there is one Korean restaurant that I will recommend with all my heart, it would be Korean Palace. I've been dining here ever since they had that delicious rice topped with their signature eel which my dad would always share with me when I was still young.
Years after, I still find myself looking for the authentic Korean food they serve, and the complimentary dishes they have -- YOU HAVE TO TRY THE MARBLED POTATOES. And and youre lucky if their best waiter serves you for the rest of the night, because that means MORE COMPLIMENTARY DISHES. Just imagine the number of marbled potatoes I had that night.
If you ever get the chance to visit, get their beef stew (THE BEST BEEF STEW ANYONE COULD EVER HAVE, meat falls off the bones, sauce is perfect), tempura (DIVINE), their samgyupsal which are matched with the perfect soy sauce they serve, and of course, their bibimbaps! The stonepot ones are better than the usual! You have to try their steamed tofu too.
And they always serve sweet pineapples at the end of the meal. They have been consistent ever since, dining here feels like a ritual you would willingly follow. Oh, and on another note, you have to see the little koi pond they have when youre on the way to their rest room. Not really sure if they still have it after renovating, but its my favorite part of dining there.
Korean Palace has been there for a long time already, and if a lot of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese diners frequent it, that means something. It really is a great restaurant, and I love it with all my heart. Service has always been great and food, equal. Pricing is right. Totally recommend it!
I love Korean foods, I like the Bulgogi here at Korean Palace but i am beginning to like more their Jjampoong its so spicy with mix seafood and its so delicious, you will perspire for its great taste, never miss to order my favorite kimchi and blends well with a green mango shake. Price a little pricey but it will surely satisfy your palate.
The Korean Palace has been around the Malate area for over a decade now. It is perfectly located next to Remedios Circle on the corner of Adriatico and Remedios street. I recall having eaten there as a child with my family and many relatives. So it was quite nostalgic to find myself there last night during a Malate night out with friends.
It seemed smaller than before, but maybe just because I had in fact grown bigger. (Haha). I did note that they had a second floor, perhaps for more private events. The place itself had a rather comfortable and familiar vibe - it was quite homey.
Since it was late in the evening, aside from our group there were only two other tables. The staff were quick to greet and hand us menus. We immediately requested a bunch of side dishes along with some extra bean sprouts and kangkong. We then ordered one plate of Bulgogi and Galbi-sal / beef ribs and three bowls of plain rice.
The side dishes came right away and were a good assortment. The extras we ordered came in bigger places, which was very convenient. Aside from that, the waiter also put a heated pan with garlic on our table. After a few minutes he began cooking our meat orders right there on the table.
Each dish took abou 5-10 minutes each to cook, so it was nice that by the time we had devoured the first plate of Bulgogi that the Galbi-sal was plated. I would say that the flavors were very tasty and those two orders were good for the three of us. I was completely stuffed afterwards.
Our bill added up to about 1,200 or roughly P400 each. I would say that this was a good amount to spend considering how full you can actually get due to the side-dishes. I did note though that their menu did seem somewhat pricey, but the serving sizes were just right for our group.
Over-all, I am giving this establishment a 4.0 for this initial experience because although the food was good, it was ordinary. I think other Korean establishments may offer somewhat better value for money. Also, despite being rather iconic for me, the place seems somewhat forgettable; otherwise, I probably would have wanted to eat there sooner. Either way, I am looking forward to going back eventually to perhaps try their Sam Gyup Sal and Bibimbap which looked pretty good. Who knows - maybe after trying that, I might re-do my review and up their rating.
Best bulgogi ever!! Been here many times with my roommates because we love korean dishes. Try their bibimbab and sam gyup sal and you'll love it too, swear!!
Eat all you can Samgyupsal in a very low price. The buffet costs 399php where in you could share the buffet with others as well. There are traditional korean clothes on which you could wear and take a picture whilst wearing it too. Adventures in baguio never get old.

Metro Manila definitely have several restaurants that offers Korean dishes, but Korean Palace is a go-to place for me. Try their Chicken Ginseng, the most famous dish in Korea! They've got the taste so authentic and closer to what they have back in Seoul. It's worth every cents!
I love Korean food and this is the place I like going back to to get that authentic Korean meal and feel. The place is stylish and gives you that vibe of being in Korea, something that I usually see just in koreanovelas. The meals come with a complete set of appetizers and the food itself is just delicious. The prices are a bit on the mid-priced meal side, but they are well worth spending for. One must try this out at least once in their life.
Tucked within Malate in the old city of Manila is this authentic Korean restaurant. You will realize its authentic when there are more Korean guests that Pinoys. Prices are reasonable and they also do not serve on the requisite appetizers. Must try are the pork or chicken barbeque which you must order in 2 serving so that they can cook this in a portable stove at your table. Also delicious are the kimchi soup, bibimbap and chapchae.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat when we were walking at Adriatico when we were enticed by Korean Palace Restaurant's authentic and attractive exterior and interior design.
I rejected eating here at first because our budget is only 500.00 and it seems like a very cozy place and the food are expensive. Its just a typical school day and I dont want to spend muh money for a dinner here since there is no ocassion to celebrate anyway.
However, when my boyfriend, as well as the receptionist, started to explain, I was enlightened and I was convinced to eat our dinner here. that alongside the main course (which is good for sharing) is a set of side dishes and free house tea to be served; I was then convinced to settle down here, stop walking and scouting for other restos, and eat our dinner here.
Just so everyone who reads this is informed, an order of the main dishes is good for sharing already. Moreover, an 8-course side dish, lettuce, and house tea are served for free along with the main course which then makes it economical and pocket-friendly if you have someone to share the bill with.
I didn't regret my decision listening to my partner-in-crime. In fact I was not just satisfied but delighted. For just a total of 506.00, I was able to enjoy my favorite cuisine (which is Korean). The staff here were very accommodating and informative. The waitress who accompanied and cooked for us answered all my questions with conviction (because I usually ask a lot whenever I eat in a place for the first time).
The food was also very good. Getting into more details, we ordered their Pan Grilled Beef (400.00) and Ginseng Tea (60.00). The beef was cooked before us and while it is being cooked, the set of 8 side dishes were served. I remember some of it were Kimchi, Dilis with nuts, Tokwa, Salted Kangkong and Spicy Kangkong. It was then followed by the lettuce, the house teas, Bean Paste and Sesame Oil with salt and pepper. The Ginseng Tea was served lastly. The lady cooked the beef well that it was tender and juicy. The Ginseng tea was tasty for its added syrup and it was energizing as well.
As for more details on the aesthetics, their glass jars filled with ginseng (and other herbs?) caught my attention first. The big blurred portrait of Noynoy Aquino and (maybe) the restaurant owner stunned me next. My boyfriend and I even discussed about it that maybe the picture is blurred to protect the privacy of the lady beside Aquino, or maybe the picture was just really taken that way. I noticed the resrved area as well, which is good for meetings of a number of people (about 8-10 persons) or just a family/group of friends who booked a schedule to eat at the restaurant. Their sanitary napkins served in our table before we ate impressed me. A towel soaked in a disinfectant (maybe alcohol) And finally, The sculpted apple dessert serve just after we billed out impressed me more. Overall, it was a healty and delighting eat!
P.S. The menu posted here in Zomato is quite outdated, has less contents and differs in prices to the actual menu we saw at the restaurant. I wish I should have taken a picture of the menu if I knew it was different from the one posted here. Maybe next time when I come back. If I cant make it any sooner, I hope someone does (hopefully someone from Zomato) and update the menu posted here. Thank you. :)
