My first time to try Chinese restaurant. It was also the first time that I felt the Chinese culture because of their food. It feels like im also a Chinese.
The best lechon kawali and camaron rebosado. The yang chow? Deym.
Hindi ako maka get over. Ang sarap ng pork shrimp siomai at lechon kawali!
Really nice service and friendly staff, the food is also very delicious, I highly recommend their brocolli with ginger in osyter sauce, and their curry chicken rice is also very sumptuous. You'll surely crave for more.
hakaw - 90php for 4 pieces (the best hakaw!)
Shao long bao - 85php for 4 pieces (there's no soup, but it's tasty)
Seafood noodle - 200php good for 2 or 3. (Very delicious! Highly recommended!)
Didn't take a photo of the place as it's not aesthetically good, but if you are used to Binondo restaurants, the place will not bother you.
Gong Xi Fa Cai!
.
In celebration of Chinese New Year, I've tried Ying Ying restaurant last Wednesday and here are my thoughts.
.
Hakaw- Definitely one of my Fave dimsum. Juicy and delicious but you must eat it fast because it easily gets cold after. A must try for yourself! Rate: 9/10, Php90 for 4 pieces.
.
Yang chow rice- I think one of the best I've tried. Not too oily and greasy. I can eat it even without any viand. Rate: 10/10, Php100.
.
Lastly the lemon chicken. I am actually disappointed with this because I find the chicken hard to chew. But the lemon sauce is actually good. I just regret that I have choose white chicken instead. Rate: 6/10, Php280.
.
The service is actually good but if you want a nice ambiance then this place might not be for you. The crew and staff are attentive and courteous.
.
Again Happy Chinese new year! #cny2020

Tucked away in the cross cross of Manila, this Chinese tea house restaurant serves authentic Chinese food. You will feel the deep history of the entire restaurant. Food is good and service is good as well. The interior is very old Binondo type restaurant and very old Chinese Manila
Smol Girl and her Big Boi celebrate their anniversary every June 1.
For 2019, the day also meant that we had about a year left before the wedding.
While we need to tighten the belt and beef up the savings, it doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate.
After spending time in the National Planetarium and the National Museum of Natural History (which are all for FREE and IG-worthy, btw) we went to the place where PHP 1,000 can go a long way: Binondo!
We have been visiting Binondo every now and then for their food crawls but for this run, we decided to try Ying Ying Tea House Official for lunch. The overall spend? Just PHP 1,010 for all the food ordered (total of 6 dishes)!!
So, did Ying Ying’s Tea House make the our budget anniversary date worth it?
1. Cold Cuts (PHP 160)
Asado + Lechon Kawali + Soy Chicken + Jellyfish + Century Egg. Smol Girl loved everything off this sampler plate which is already good for sharing. Also, the refreshing scallion side helps cleanse the palate after each bite. Best of all? It’s super affordable!
2. Yang Chow Fried Rice (PHP 180)
Smol Girl’s go-to rice in Chinese restos. For only P180, this one is already good for 2-3 people and has lots of shrimps and flavored just right!
3. Lemon Chicken (PHP 260)
The sweet and tangy flavor perfectly complements the fried rice. It can be a bit tough though as it gets cold so better eat it fast as soon as it’s served on your table!
4. Hakaw (PHP 80)
Tastes fresh and the wrapper chewiness is great. Works well with the dipping sauce we made: combination of black vinegar, soy sauce, and chilli.
5. Fried Squid Salt and Chili (PHP 260)
Another classic. The squid is cooked just right. Not too soft and not rubbery at all. The vinegar it’s served with also has the right taste: not too strong that it overpowers everything.
6. Taro Puff (PHP 70)
Crisp surface with a soft, meaty, and flavorful filling.
Can be eaten on its own or with your own dipping sauce concoction.
Ying Ying’s Tea House is straightforward and definitely a classic. It is a very good choice for budget dates or even just eat-out on regular days.
We will definitely be back to try other items off the menu! 😊👍🏻
Exploring Binondo has brought us to Ying Ying Tea House which was recommended to me by my friend, Mark (Eatsplorations.com). What I love about this place is that they serve Chinese food with a good serving size for its price.
Very good value for price. It can get hectic at times because of the large groups of people who come to Ying Ying for lunch, but as long as you come early, it won't be too much of a problem.
Recommended items are: Hakaw (Most of the dimsum, actually), Salt & Pepper Squid, and Beef Brisket Mami.
We went on an unexpected Binondo Trip and had lunch at Ying Ying Tea House. It was actually the second time I ate at the place. Although it is situated in the busy streets of Binondo, the restaurant is known to be one of the best chinese restaurants in Town.
Lechon Kawali Asado - 3/5
Hakao - 5/5
Siomai - 3/5
Mami - 3/5
Xiao Long Bao - 1/5
The food was ok... but it lacks something. The worst was the Xiao Long Bao, it didn’t have the usual soup inside and it just looked like a siomai. Also, the place was kind of tidy. Overall, usual chinese food experience.
So we planned to visit old/famous restaus in Manila and Ying Ying Teahouse is always on the top 10 list on every blogs. There was a waiting line when we arrived but since we were only 2, we opted to share tables instead so we were served immediately. Their menu is really affordable & you can really say that price is worth it on each item. The serving is fast paced too so you wont wait for long. Highly recommend their dimsums, radish cake & fresh lemonade. Only downside is their parking. They dont have a designated parking so you may have too go back & forth waiting for your turn. It was a weekend when we went so it wasnt much of a hassle. Cant imagine how it would be during weekdays with traffic and all. Still a must try for experience!
We dine here around 7:30 PM it's not that spacious. Medyo mausok. Cheaper prices? Yes compare sa ibang chinese restaurants nearby. Very affordable naman 'yung mga food and some of the staff are not accomodating. Free hot tea - served before meal.
Ah, the good old times. Ying Ying has quite the reputation within me because of its superb Chinese dishes that resonated well with me. This review is quite late and already due. The first time ate here was when the accountant of the accounts we handled for audit treated us for lunch (you can already tell why). After that, there were repeated visits because we just love the place.
The thing that might discourage you right away is the cramped, busy place. There's always crews bustling around catering orders, managing outgoing deliveries, receiving of kitchen raw stocks, billings and follow-ups. That speaks of something though. If you're restaurant is always this hectic, you know that patrons are in for a reason.
Observing the place, as far as I can remember, Ying Ying has two levels of leased space. The ground floor is were the casually arranged tables are situated. Many walk-in patrons can grab a quick meal right away here. There are also at least few tables outside of the building itself, but I don't recommend eating there since It's hot and there are usual passerby, which in my opinion is awkward (introvert on the loose, haha). The second level is where business type of tables that caters large group is located. There are also few rooms that hosts this.
Ying Ying is quite something when it comes to dimsums. They don't mess around with their pork shrimp siomai, and what could you ask for a better Hakao? Here! Chicken feet are a treat too. What's more is that they are fairly cheap, around 70 plus pesos I recall. That's a deal for me. I'm underwhelmed, as I can remember about this steamed silver roll. It is basically just the soft, breading of a siopao. They serve it with a cup of condensed milk. Though it was good, since the bun is moist and fluffy, I was just caught off guard that a "silver roll" is just like this, not too surprising. I tried their Soy and White Chicken rice toppings, which are both tasty by the way, with the latter a little bit milder than the former. Spinach soup is a win with their Lechon Macau quite receptive per my other officemates' feedback.
I don't exactly remember the other dishes I tried here but I know that they are worthwhile. This restaurant has also a lot in their menu, so it is worth a try to explore.
I'll definitely come back given the chance. I'm curious how their Peking Duck holds up, There are loads of prawn/shrimp dishes I would love to try.
Actual rating is 4.5/5.
I keep on coming back here. I love their food. For me it's authentic Chinese food . I'm living for their coffee milk tea, i always order that. My only suggestion is that maybe they can renovate the place but aside from that it's a YES for me. 😁😁😁
We are having our food trip at Binondo and Ying Ying is one of our lists of resto to try. I ordered their xiao long pao and it was one of the best xiao long pao I’ve ever tasted. Price is almost the same as restaurants such as causeway and king chef. Their xiao long bao has rich taste and has lots of meat. I m giving it 4 star tho since we originally planned to dine in but the resto is small and we opt to take out instead because of long line. Staffs are very nice tho and accomodating.
Delicious - affordable with big servings - classic chinese food!
Like any good-old, well established restaurant it's culinary excellence comes with a caveat - you can't have everything, right?
The universe is fair that way.
If you can steel yourself to the mess and crowdedness of the restaurant, as mostly the place is packed with people (a good sign?), if you can take sitting right next to strangers, having your personal space violated and at times battle with the occassionally curious tiny ipis crawling under the table for your food (yeah.) - and focus on just the food, you'll love it.
The mess and grime - eh, part of the Binondo experience.
Unless Isko Moreno continues to go off changing Manila - go, Mayor... I hope you're for real!
Together with it's neighboring and well established peer-restaurants like Wai Ying and Estero, this place is a must try for the curious, non-maarte-to-grime and brave.
The ambiance of the place is not really good so we always opt for to go. Our favorite is their salt and pepper squid and their crab sotanghon.
They also serve sizzling oyster!

This came as the top recommendation when we searched for the best restaurant to dine in Binondo. To our surprise, it was just a stones throw away from the jeepney path before reaching the San Lorenzo Ruiz Plaza. The place was packed when we got there! We were asked to go to the second floor waiting area to wait for patrons to finish so that we can take their place. The smell of authentic Chinese cuisine wafted heavily on the air as we crossed the first floor to reach the stairs. Probably the only major downside of the experience, though undeniably authentic, was that the place was relatively run down already and I felt that there was a possibility of sanitation breach.
As customary, we ordered mostly dimsum: the reliable Hakao (Php80) and Taro Puff (Php70) with the addition of Shrimps Cheong Fan (Php75). We also shared a bowl of Pork Century Egg Congee (Php110) which we generously sprinkled with chili sauce. Overall, the taste was good. We were quite full before we finished everything so we had some of them to go.
Dumating kami around 5pm dami na tao, good thing next in line kami so 5 minutes wait time lang kaming dalawa ng kasama ko. Friendly yung staff nila. Keep up! Mabilis yung serving saka hindi ganoon kainit nung pumunta kami.
Yung hakaw nila, malalasahan mo yung shrimp.
One of the two major dimsum places in Binondo, and the one that I am most familiar with. This is your typical Binondo restaurant, busy, tight, and chaotic. Their dimsum is great, the siomai is much bigger than you'd find elsewhere, and their hakao is excellent. Their hong ma is also really good, albeit a bit salty.
Very good place to have Chinese food. I’ve been here for so many times now and upon my experiences most of their menu items would not disappoint you, especially if you’re a type of person who really enjoys food. Food here is very cheap and also served in good amount per serving (trust your selves in ordering lol or you may end up ordering too many items which is really not a bad thing at all hehe 😀)
Dined here with my family for a sunday brunch. The place was busy, yet we were seated immediately upon arrival. Staff were quite attentive.
The staff immediately served complimentary tea. Freshly brewed, not too strong. We ordered the Pancit (Good for sharing), 2 sets of Siopao, 2 sets of Xiao Long Bao, Fried Dumplings, Japanese Siomai, Vegetable Siomai, Noodles, and the Sweet and Sour Pork rice meal. The fried dumplings with the special sauce turned out to be the family favorite. I personally enjoyed the japanese siomai and fried dumplings. Quite disappointed with the xiao long bao, the famous soup inside the dumpling is non-existing.
Location is good. The ambiance is mediocre. Cleanliness may be an issue for some. But overall experience is still good, considering the cheap prices.
Known as an old tea house with its authentic Chinese dimsum and cuisines. Food was great - hakaw, yang chow rice, roasted duck, beef stew and tea. If you're on a Binondo food adventure, this is one of the to go to places. I wouldve given this a 5-star rating if they have kept the place a bit cleaner.
Had our Food trip team building here! 😁 Hakao (for life 😍), Yang chow fried rice, Cold cuts, Curry beef brisket. 😋 This is one of the Chinese restaurant go to place whenever you're craving for legit Chinese food!! 😁
Explored Binondo today with the gang. Tried their liempo and rosted duck Rice Topping. My fave was Siopao's bread with Condensed Milk and my all time fave Dimsums (Hakaw and Siolong Bao). The place is crowdy during lunchtime. But a good place for Chinese cuisines! :)
Definitely one of the best dimsum and noodle houses in Binondo. The line and the people inside are testaments to how good the food is. Their soy chicken mami, yang chow fried rice, and hakaw are definite must-trys.

One of the best chinese restaurants in binondo! Our all time favorite is their yang chow fried rice, very tasty with lots of shrimps. They offer great tasting chinese dimsums that will not break your budget which you can also order frozen if you want to have it anytime at home. i also like their fresh noodles, i normally buy half a kilo and use it for my home cooked mami.
One of the most popular Chinese restaurant in binondo, ying ying is a humble place in the corner of dasmarinas and yuchengco street. It is always jampacked even though it has already three floors of dining space. Reason being is it's value for money given the price point, quality of food, variation and serving size.
I personally love their rice meals, for 150 pesos you'll be full and satisfied already. For this particular visit though I had an order of their steam kingfish, kuchay dumplings and birthday noodles.
I also love their milk tea. It's like the hongkong milktea, creamy yet you can taste the tea in it.
Well don’t expect with the environment of the restaurant but when it comes to the food it was worth it, every peso I spent was worth it!!! i love the food and I will definitely go back to this restaurant
Food is superb! Worth the price :)
We tried their Hakao, Sweet and Sour Pork, and dumpling, sobrang sarap ng yang chao rice :D
Yung ambience medyo maingay and magulo. Dahil siguro sa sobrang dami kumakain. 😊
. I went to ying ying and ordered the duck rice. very great,. i love the flavor. the place was jampacked so i had to wait for 10 minutes. but the wait was worth it. it was so busy. Ill try going back here when their not too busy
Traditional Chinese Restaurant. The food is superb. When we ate here around 1 AM, we ordered Beef Brisket Mami, Mami Wanton, Pork Shrimp Siomai, Siao Lung Pao and Buchi and take-out the incredible size Siopao (never seen a siopao that big!). The soup is very tasty and served hot. The siomai tastes good as well and to compliment all- the legendary buchi! Definitely we’ll be back to try the Peking Duck and their exotic food.
One of my family’s go-to in Binondo. Tried their oyster cake for the first time last week! :) Their fried dumplings and beef noodles are my favorite.
I saw a post before in Facebook that went viral because of this underrated chinese restaurant in Binondo, Mnl. So out of curiosity, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try since we live in Tondo. 😂 It was our first time to eat in a chinese resto and they didn’t disappoint!
🍽Food was exquisite!👌From sauces to main dishes, everything was sumptuous but with very affordable prices and bigger servings! Your Php500 will make two tummies and hearts full ❤️ I’m not exaggerating! They serve free unlimited vigorous tea! 😍
⛩For the place, it doesn’t look that cozy but I felt like I was in China dining with Jackie Chan during Rush Hour 1 😂 But it was clean though! (You’ll see a lot of packed food because they have lots of orders to deliver)
🚗 Parking is going to be an issue because Ying Ying Tea House is located in Binondo and we know how busy that place is. We went there using a motorcycle, we just parked in front of the resto. You know what I mean 🙂
👨🍳👩🍳The service was great! From their boss to the servers, they will really answer your questions about their menu. Like us, since it was our first time we weren’t that familiar with chinese food. We asked a lot so we can make good decisions 😂 And so we did❤️
📍Use Google Maps or Waze if you’re not that familiar with Binondo because there are one-way streets and there are a lot of traffic enforcers in the area. You do not want to have tickets for traffic violation!
Operating hours: 7AM-2AM, EVERYDAY
Check my pics below. Some food don’t have good pictures because my priority was to eat, you guys! 😁
Enjoy! 👍
For me, this is probably one of the best chinese food place I've been to.
I suggest that every visitor should include their yang chow fried rice, hakaw and cold cuts(mix of asado, chicken and pork belly) in their choices. That's just to get you started. Their menu, of which I have only tasted maybe like 45% of it, and I'm always delighted. Also, the price is affordable!
Almost no one can go wrong by dining at Ying-Ying.
Fast service, inexpensive and lots of selections. Expect it to be busy. Cheapest great Hakao in any resto. Duck was great pero mabuto. Sauce really reminds you na nasa Taiwan or china ka. You can really feel na nasa ibang lugar ka.
Asado was a little thick. Hindi sya ung asado na we always dream about.
Ying Ying is an all time favorite place to dine because it is budget friendly, they have big servings and it has a wide array of authentic Chinese dishes. It’s just a few steps away from our office that’s why we are frequent customers. I don’t mind if a lot say, that the place is messy for as long the foods are yummy and very affordable. Last night, I dined with my family. We ordered for yangchow, sweet and sour pork, shrimp cutlet, salt and chili fried squid, shrimp and pork noodles & spring rolls. We also had pork siomai, hakaw and siopao asado. We were all satisfied with what we eat. Happy tummy indeed!
Perhaps one of Binondo's food gems, Ying Ying Tea House boasts a long list of traditional Chinese dishes, and some Filipino-inspired ones to attract diners of all types. We ordered Hakao, Lemon Chicken, and Lechon Kawali. All were decent, and pretty much tasteful, and beautifully cooked. Price-wise, we cannot complain, especially the price their Lechon Kawali came for, for just Php 130, for a whole plate? Spell S-T-E-A-L. I was looking for a lechon kawali sauce, a definite must-have whenever I get to eat this pork favorite, but they paired theirs with hoisin sauce, which, in all honesty, was a pleasant surprise.
Foods are all budget friendly and comes in a serving where 2 people can share. Just need a little walk away from busy street of ongpin. Hongkong-style.
We were so eager to try an eat-out at Binondo and fortunately saw that Ying Ying's still open at 2:00am. Our sched is at night so it will be perfect for us to have a dinner here. We drove all the way from QC to MNL and I must say that it was one of the advisable times to go here as traffic was against us.
It was my first time to eat here but since I was the one who's familiar with the menu, we had rhe following for sharing:
▫️Lemon Chicken
Crunchy chicken strips with tasty lemon sauce.
▫️Pork Asado
We ordered half of this which is good for sharing. The meat was tender and the Chinese taste was savory.
▫️Yang Chow Fried Rice
Mixed fried rice with pieces of veggies, egg, pork, and shrimps. Our tummies were so full because of the huge serving! You can't go wrong with this, a must try in here.
▫️Hakaw
My love for hakaw is so pure that I could it for the entire day! Their version is soft and tasty.
▫️Pork Siomai
Waiying's version is tastier than this. But still, the taste is legit than those siomai stand in malls.
▫️Milk Tea
If you are struggling to what milk tea stores taste better, then you have to taste this. It has bittery, aromatic, and true tea taste. Sayang, I didn't ask if they have pearls, it will be more perfect sana.
This restaurant is crowded and easily gets full easily during peak hours. They need to improve the cleanliness especially the squeky floors because of oily food. The service was okay when we dine because it was late at night, staff were not too busy and easily got called.
Ying ying has been there in Binondo for 10 years already and I must say that their food is really closed to Wai Ying. If you are looking for a budget friendly and authentic chinese dishes, Ying Ying is open from 6:00am and 2:00am.

After duty. Since I did chemistry in the laboratory, and it's kinda toxic, might as well have some dimsum. The food here is great as always. Thumbs up.👌👍
We love this resto. The interiors isn’t that appealing and it’s a place that you will really have to find but it’s worth it. The food is great and it’s reasonably priced. Great authentic Chinese food suited for the Filipino taste! Highly recommend their Hakao.
We went from a tiring but very fun educational tours in manila. went to museums in Manila and heard mass at Manila Cathedral.
We haven't eaten much the whole time when we were touring around and the time were looking for a good food to eat I was just searching on Google. Then I found a link and when I saw Ying ying tea house with a very delish looking food I did not think twice to search for another places for our dinner and plus the price was very affordable which fits to our budget.
We have no any idea on the taste of what we ordered but it turned out very sulit and very much worth our gutom 😉 It's was my first time to eat in Binondo area and I didn't regret dinning in ying ying tea house even there was no available seats and tables inside their restaurant.
One thing I liked the most was our waiter that night who speaks frankly but very hospitable.. His service and gesture was not just to us but also to others was so remarkable impression that incorporates to the name of ying ying tea house.. Thumbs up for the foods and to thier waiters!
I asked my sister to buy food from ying ying cause I'm craving for some Chinese food. My sister was a frequent customer of this place and this is my first time to taste their food. I was not disappointed.
Sweet and sour fish - actually tastes better than my mom's! 😂 (My mom's a great cook!) The fish was cooked just right. Serving size was pretty decent. If you're a heavy eater like me, you could probably finish the whole thing. But it can serve up to 3 persons.
Buttered Chicken - it was good. It was cooked and seasoned well. Though I don't like its 'sawsawan'. The only downside was the serving size. I can still find something like this in another Chinese restaurant for less and double the serving.
Beef Broccoli - the taste was so-so. The taste and smell of ginger were overpowering. Though I liked the texture of the broccoli. It was cooked just right. As well as the beef. And I also liked the fact that the broccoli pieces were huge!
Best place to eat authentic Chinese. Typical look - old & run down. Don’t expect anything on ambience - you really just go for the good food. The owner is the one who started Wai Ying.
If you want the good food but dont like the ambience, then buy their frozen dimsum and eat at the comfort of your own home.
I can't believe that its open even at the late hours of the night and its still jampacked. Food was great and it was served fast, fresh off the stove and it smells amazing. We had sizzling shrimp, yang chow rice, some dimsums and asado because they ran out of lechon kawali.
I just wish that they tidy up the place as the floor and stairs are a bit sticky, the furnishings are worn out as the cushion for the chairs have gone fizzled a decade ago and the aircon looks dilapidated. Don't get me wrong I didn't go here for the ambience but you just can't help but notice. On the table the utensils, tissue and condiments are well maintained and clean. But for delicious bang for the buck Chinese food experience you'll never go wrong with Ying Ying.
If you are looking for a posh Chinese dimsum resto to eat, then this place is not for you. The dining area is mostly ventilated by fan. If you don’t mind the heat and smell of the food from the kitchen, then that wont be a problem. The 2nd level dining area has an airconditioned room though. Binondo is well known as the place in Manila where the first Chinese immigrants settled. Hence, most of the buildings here are even pre-world war. Personally, I love going to this place that is rich in culture and history. Most of the best authentic Chinese restos are located here. As long as the food is great, i don’t mind the place where i’m eating. My best go to dimsums are pork shrimp siomai, hakao, spareribs and beancurd. Beef Brocolli is also great and you must not miss to try their hot shrimp salad! It’s the bomb!!! The squid was also great! Lemon chicken was a bit tough but taste was good. Maybe just a bad batch perhaps. Willing to try it again next time. And ofcourse, yangchow fried rice! For refreshment, try their iced milk tea. It’s my favorite drink for every visit. Looking forward for my next visits. And ladies and gentlemen, they are open Mondays to Sundays, 7AM to 2AM! Last but not the least, the waiter who served us was very accommodating and pleasant. Made sure she got our orders right, suggested what foods are a best sellers and the waiting time for our orders to come was so quick. It was served between 5-10mins! Amazing service!
I’ve been to Binondo before but this is my first time eating here at Ying Ying, the place is a bit small and most of their tables are set for group diners but I don’t mind. Their servers are well experienced in dealing with first timers not to mention their impressive knowledge of the restaurant’s menu. As for the food, we’ve ordered Chicken Asado Mami (P110), Steamed Fish Cake (P135) and Beef Wanton Mami (P120). I am very pleased with my experience and would definetly go back.
Food is definitely authentic Chinese! Not too pricey but you're definitely getting the real deal. I don't have anything negative to say from the rice dessert to the dimsum and rice meals.
Well I'm giving this a 4 because the place is not so hygenic. Well not at all. No problem about the place being simple but I hope they clean the place at leaat.
Well chinese food i grew up in chinese culture and filipino culture of course. We love to eat. Food here were fantastic except a bit dirty I mean it’s not a high end restau so dont except too much. Hahahah. But chinese authentic food here were great and cheap. Kaya mo araw arawin so try na.
I think I would call this place a traditional chinese restaurant for a lack of better word. It is a quaint little resto in Binondo, it only has a very small space so might have to wait for other people to finish eating. They make up for this on the awesome food they serve! Price us definitely very affordable and the servings are very generous. We ordered only small sizes but it was enough to make three people full! No wonder this place is always featured as a must see place in the area!
My friends and I always eat here for late dinners. We've dined here a lot yet we haven't even halved the dishes available. Buttered chicken is a must try. The dishes are also affordable especially when you split the bill amongst a group. The place can get a bit crowded but the wait is tolerable. The floors and tables can get sticky and dirty but I guess that's part of the experience. If you want authentic yet affordable Chinese food, this place is highly recommended.
This was my second time at Ying Ying Tea House and it was still an awesome experience! Just found out that this is Waiying’s sister store but cheaper I guess. They have a lot of good dimsums. Their Japanese siomai is definitely a must try! Their xiao long bao version is a little dry tho. The beef noodles is also good with a very savoury soup and tender beef. The milk tea is really good as what the other review says. The servings are big, the food is delicious and the service is quick. The store is really old tho so the ambiance is really not that top notch but the food is something worth trying for.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Binondo. It's a sister company of Wai Ying but they serve better ones here. For more than a decade, we often dine here and the taste of their food didn't change at all.
They have the best dimsum I'm not kidding. You'll really love their dimsum!! ❤
Try their spinach soup for starters. Also, my top favorites for main dish is their duck, Pata, lechon Macau, Bean curd, lemon and buttered chicken, and beef broccoli. You should also try their buchi and fried mantao. 😋
Price is very affordable. It won't make your wallet cry lol. The place will always be a typical GI place but no worries! Their food is very tasty and aahh you'll keep coming back fosho! ❤ I encourage you to visit Ying Ying!!
I love their food, sooo cheap and very delicious, although it's always jam-packed so it's kinda hard to find a seat sometimes. I love their crispy pork, the oyster, duck and everything is really yummy. I will definitely go back here. Ying Ying is one of my favorite in Binondo.
BEST HAKAW AND ASADO I'VE HAD SO FAR
I don't even know where to start, everything we had tasted SO good and authentic!! We ordered Beef Brisket Mami, Lechon Kawali and Roast Duck Asado with Rice, Hakaw, Pork & Shrimp Siomai, Asado Cheong Fan, Kuchay Dumpling, and cold Milk Tea (not in the pic).
To start off, serving was HUGE. Hakaw had generous amount of shrimp in it. Their siomai was as juicy as siomai could ever get. Kuchay dumpling was on the meatier side but still tasted good. It was my first time to try Cheong Fan and it did not disappoint! Asado Cheong Fan had that meaty taste you'd expect from asado with the right amount of sweetness. Milk tea tasted really authentic!! Taste was quite similar to Thai Milk tea but it had something in it that made it taste different than than the commercial ones.
As for the mains, Beef Brisket Mami was loaded with succulent cubes of beef!! 😍 And the broth, man, I can't even put into words how good it was!! You can even have it refilled for free! Lechon Kawali and Roast Duck Asado was really flavorful. Lechon Kawali was served crispy and tender. Asado Duck was 👌👌👌, I can have it everyday and not get umay.
Value for money is definitely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, and service was fast. They have a wide range of menu and I'll totally come back to try their other offerings.
