I tried this place out of curiosity and I immediately loved it. I went back with my friends and they ended up loving it too. This is probably the best Korean restaurant near DLSU. I saw the Korean owner during my last visit; no wonder the food is authentic and delicious. The hot pot bibimbap is the best but the rabokki was amazing too. I'll definitely come back!
Bahay ko na ata to ahuhu ily shp bibimbab
SHP Bibimbab is one of the Korean food places we love to visit in Taft.
It’s located at the second level of a building surrounded by computer or printing shops. You’d be surprise to see this quaint restaurant upstairs after passing by a narrow stairs.
Inside screams cuteness, as there are secluded seating areas just like in Noriter.
There are Instagrammable wall decors as well as huge teddy and panda bears seating on some of the chairs.
When it comes to food, they offer the prominent Korean rice meals, rolls and noodles. They also have a variety of drinks: coffee, yogurt smoothie and latte to choose from.
These are all priced below P200 so it’s student-friendly.
We love ordering their bibimbap which is really hefty and has lots of veggie toppings. It tastes good.
If you are into spicy food, you would also love their ramyeon.
For drinks, we ordered the yogurt smoothie in mango flavor. It’s sweet but the sour taste is also dominant.

I love this place. Kahit kelan ka pumunta hindi crowded and you can really do what you want like study or even talk to a friend for hours walang problem. Ito talaga yung go to place ko pag gusto ko ng queit time. Super cute pa ng place. Sketchy yung labas esp yung building hehe but when you enter SHP para kang napunta sa Korea.
The food naman well, di siya totally authentic for me. But masarap naman din. I loved their gimbap (not in the photo) and the bibimbap is okay. Di lang kasi ako mahilig sa corn hehe and cucumber but yung serving ng food nila generous talaga good for sharing. also the staffs here are really nice and accommodating. ♥️
It's hard not to be biased if it's been your favorite place for quite some time. I've been going here since college. I guess the main reasons are! It's very cozy and the food tastes very authentic. I always go for Bibimbap and Kimchi rice. Most of these gets you complimentary soup and side dish. It's healthy and hearty, like cooked from home, because it is indeed the theme of this restaurant. Homey, cozy, laid-back and has a lot of cute huge stuff toys If you're alone.
I just love this place so much.
Cheesy Dolsot is my favorite pick here! 😍 never ate anything similar to it, kinda unique food. I love it!
At first I thought their serving was small for my big appetite but it was big enough not just to fill my hunger but to satisfy my cravings. Yum! Its one of the must try go to Korean cravings. Not so authentic but worth the price. ✌🏻
P.s. i always eat here whenever im nearby ❤️
I’ve been here thrice and I love the ambience of the place. I think you’re paying more for the ambience ‘coz so far the food I’ve tried were so-so. Even the drinks were just okay - we got three different blended drinks but all of them tasted similar. They tasted more like milk than their actual flavor. I haven’t tried the ramen yet so I’ll probably get that next time.

The kimchi fried rice here is the BEST! Huge servings din ang food nila. Would recommend!Friendly staff, great ambiance, great food, affordable prices.
It was lunchtime but we easily found a comfy spot by the window. The general ambiance was cozy and welcoming, we even had a panda and polar bear to keep us company.:)
The food was filling and I think it really catered to their target market: students.
We had the ramen bowl and bibimbap with iced tea.
All in all, it was a good experience.:)
The place is very korean-y, but the feeling isn't. Why? It's hooooot :--( they don't use an air conditioner and idk why, they only use electric fans. The menu's a bit pricy but the serving's a loooot so it's a win-win situation. I only ordered their cafe latte and it's goood!!!! Luv it! The place is like Cafe Travel, good for students na tatambay and all.

Food was amazing and will definitely fill your tummies. There are huggable stuffed toys that you can borrow and enjoy. The place was quiet when we were there (it was around 11am).
i remembered dining here on a rainy da but twas worth it, from the outside, it looks like an old building but when you get inside, makes you feel at home with its "bunk bed" like setup which gives you the privacy you need, an affordable place to eat bibimbab and gimbap!
you can try any of their gimbap (for the win) and bibimbab, the ramen also tastes good. haha
This review is for my second visit.
Bibimbap: Puwede na. 😉 Madami servings and masarap naman.
Java Chip Frappe: Waley. Ang tamis tamis masyado. And you can't differentiate each frappe aside from the obvious which is yun nga, chocolate chips, sa drinks na to.
Gimbap: Sinuggest nila yung chicken, hindi din ako natuwa. Aside sa malamya yung rice nila, pati yung nasa loob malamya din. Hindi balanced yung lasa ng tamis at alat. More on maalat at matabang.
Maganda ang place, maganda yung ambience. May electric fan kasi di kaya ng aircon pero may aircon. Puwede tumambay, malaki yung place. Sakto sa mga nagdidate or introvert.
We tried Spicy healthy ramen and Spicy cheese ramyun. Both ramyun were just instant ones but they made an effort of topping it off of some cabbages or cheese and some kimchi.
We also tried Java chip and Cookies n' cream blended. I guess both tasted okay.
Not much bazinga on the food but a nice place to hang out. Good thing the place wasn't full when we went so we stayed until closing time. Music was nice since I like jpop.
Lonely? SHP Bibimbab's cuddly and handsome friends has got you covered. Aside from their relaxing ambience and array of Korean food, they have one thing that probably most restaurants cannot offer you—a date. Big ones, to be precise. Cuddly teddy bears and animals are seated in each of their tables to give you a daily dose of sweet company. In fact, they're even a great bed to sleep on! But back to the matter of food, their Bibimbaps are a choice of wonder. Large servings of rice, vegetable, and meat are given to you, leaving you with a very full stomach. The taste however, is a bit bland, not much flavor to boot. I do suggest, that you bring your best barkada to bring out the best meals for sharing. Not to mention the place itself already looks like your home.
What can i say? This place is a must! This is actually my first time eating in a floor. The price is worth it since the dish serves big portion. The ambiance is great, the food is good & the service is actually quite nice. I love it here, definitely worth a try! 💓
Nice and comfy place👍🏻 good for chilling moment with some friends. food is good👍🏻 you just have to find where exactly it is. Happy eating!
It is a very cute place! 💛 the ambiance was really good and relaxing 💕 Dinadala ko usually mga special people ko here kahit taga parañaque pa 😂 Lalo na boyfriend ko sobrang gusto niya dito hehe kasi he loves to date me sa nakaupo daw sa floor 🙄💕 kaya it is one of a-place-to-date. At natuwa siya sa welcome ng crews na "Annyeong-haseyo" hehe. Noodles is so good plus spicy 💕 We always order the 250php promo. Worth it yun. Ayoko lang nung bread na inorder namin ng bf ko kasi para lang siyang tinapay na nilagyan ng condense 😔 pero sobrang bait ng staffs and the rest of the foods was good
I like the place though parang tago yung location since nasa second floor at madilim yung daan going upstairs.
It's another Korean type cafe; you will have privacy in their cribs with pillows and jumbo toy, but if you want you can opt to sit to their chairs naman. May mga slippers pala that you can use while ordering or going to the CR since you can't wear your shoes once inside the crib.
The colorful design of the cafe shop is IG worthy. 📷
You will also be thankful with their accomodating and helpful staff; who will greet you as you get inside, take pictures of you.
The variety of food is quite limited. They don't have pica-pica foods or light food lang. 😑 A bit pricey with the taste of their food&drinks but I guess it's because you are actually paying for the place. You can use their sockets also for free, they also have free WiFi but we weren't able to try it because we were watching a movie while in there. 😉
The bibimbap is actually good and in big servings plus free soup for every rice meal. 😊
BTW, they just offered an electric fan for us, wala atang AC, I'm not sure. It's not crowded naman kaya ok lang.
I rated 4 because of the pricey so-so food&drinks and their limited variety of food. 😊😇
make sure may money kayo, kasi ANG MAHAL HUHU okay yung food, kaso ang init ng place tas nag aagawan mga customers ng electric fan.
this place is too Koreatic to handle. I've been bringing "kpop-ish" friends along in this place. Affordable food, and a serene atmosphere perfect for study sessions or just plain catch ups with friends. ♡ Nichkhun pic displayed in the restroom is a ++ 😂

Going up to this place, you kinda doubt yourself, but as soon as you open the door, you are mesmerized with giggly cuteness all over! They have splendid decor which would tap the fuzzy and warm feelings in everyone's hearts no matter what age. But as always with Korean cafes, the menu offerings may be pricey but i'm pretty sure you won't mind that once you take a look around. Their snacks and most especially their drinks provide a good company and so do their stuffed toys which you can find in almost every corner. If you're a kid or a kid by heart or whatever, you'd definitely wanna go here, because it's nice to feel cuddles every now and then.

This place is one of the coziest restaurants I've been to. The interior makes you feel comfortable. You sit on pillows and you can even get free hugs and cuddles from their teddybears.
A place where you can sit long, talk much or laugh as hard as you want.🙌🏻
One of the coziest cafè I've been to. Been here several times and I can say that there is really nothing special about the dishes. They have the signature korean dish bibimbap which is just-Ok, the ramen which we ordered (atm) because this is the only dish available since their chef is not around.
The frappe and yogurt based drinks are so so. We keep on coming back to this place because of the ambiance and the staff.
The place is such a good chill out spot! I love the java chip frappe! But you gotta fix the stairs though. The tiles are broken and it's very warm in that area. But the food there is just outstanding!
I tried this place out of curiosity and glad I went there! While the gimbap is not something i would recommend, the Bibimbab's servings are huge and tasty. If that wasn't enough, the place is different from your usual restaurants and you can have a date with a stuff toy!
PS. It's kinda hidden.
It's got the cozy vibe of what most Korean cafes have but what I love about this place though aside from the interior and the atmosphere is that it's okay for a single person to eat there. They have stuffed toys to keep you company.
The food is good. I can't say the same about the kimchi appetizer. I've tasted better ones. But I like their gimbab. It's a bit more expensive than other places I've been to but they have plenty of choices. My favorite is the spam gimbab. However since I also like ramen, I ordered the kim ra ra set meal. It comes with half-ramen (spicy or non-spicy vegetable ramen) and your choice of gimbab with red iced tea (too sweet).
Their staff is warm and friendly. They greet you when you enter the store and thank you when you leave. And I’m always met with a smile on their faces whenever I go to the counter to order.
Overall, I do love this place. It’s got everything: the interior, the stuffed toys, the food, the service. It’s worth a visit every time. I mean I haven’t had a bad experience with this place yet.
I just remember myself feeling so ecstatic upon leaving this place... I feel so happy! Not only bcoz of the food, but I guess it's more of the cuddles I get from the huge PANDA I met there... Will definitely go back! Cozy place where you can bond w/ friends or just be alone and choose a date from the cutie bears. ❤
This place is perfect for those who wanna hang out or in our case, STUDY. It's quiet and the ambiance is excellent. Their blends are a must try. A bit pricey tho but I'd prefer a comfortable cradle like this for the weekends. 💕👍
A marvelous place to chill, study, play board games and hang out with your best buds or food buddy. SHP Bibimbab definitely gave me a much higher expectation to all other cafes out there. From their location that was accessible, to their hospitable staffs, to their appealing and cozy interior, to their mouthwatering and affordable frappes and korean foods, I will surely go back here!
I think I only tried this place once. I ordered their spam gimbab and it was good. I remember my friend ordering a different type of gimbab and she didn't like. She ended up getting some of my order because it was really good. The teddy bears on the seats are too cute especially if you are "forever alone".
Perfect place to chill and hang out with friends! SHP Bibimbap offers variety of food- from ramen, rice meals, drinks, desserts etc. You can play around with their stuff toys in your "spacey" private area. I have tried their fondue and java chip drink. I recommend to try their chocolate fondue (P200) which is already good for two. It is served with melted chocolate, milk, extra chocolates and to be dipped: bread, banana, crackers and marshmallow. Although the number of marshmallow is limited. According to their staff, you can also make a hot choco after finishing the dips through the milk. Their java chip is also worth the try although nothing really special (just the same with other artsy cafes). I recommend that if you'll try their fondue, better order a different kind of drink, probably a yoghurt, fruit or soda drink (since the fondue is already chocolate and milk). Would love to come back to try their ramen, French toast and rice meals. The place is also secured with cctv and also offers unlimited wifi with free sockets (lol). It is not also cold in the place and probably not the best place to study especially when it is crowded.
The drinks are a little pricey but there's nothing special in it. The cheese ramen is just okay since I know it's the instant ramyun that I usually buy at 711 and too it with cheese. The place is a little hot unlike several months ago. It's a good place to hangout.
The food is great. Tho the spam gimbab is quite dry. I recommend the ramens, especially the spicy. It'll give you a really nice kick to your pallette. The bibimbab is really good. The kimchi tho, has aftertaste. The raspberry ade is good but i think it's not P135 worthy. Overall, it's a good place, great food and i think i'll come back.
A good place to hangout with friends. They serve korean dishes and desserts. Its a must try for all. If you have a big tummy, sit on a regular chair and not in their cubicles. You will have a hard time moving. Hehe! Bibimbap is good, ramyun is good, dessert drinks is a must try. Me and my gf loved the place.
This is actually one of the few good Korean cafés around DLSU and Benilde area. It isn't easy to spot immediately if not for the sign hanging. The place is a big surprise and very comfortable to hang at. I love their cheese ramen. The cheese perfectly melds with the spiciness.
Overall I am satisfied with what the place could offer. Good food. Good ambiance. Plus the drinks are good. I suggest you eat here when your have enough time. Serving time may not be fast.
We went here near closing time and we are thw only customers because they'rw about to close. The pastries arenon 50% off the price. The frappes and smoothies are good and also there ramen tastes good.
SHP Bibimbab is a place where you could find gigantic teddy bears that you can cuddle with! The store is far from DLSU, compared to other cafes. What I like about this place is their cute interior and friendly staff! Indeed, they are there whenever you need them. This cafe also offers a variety of food and drinks for their customers. We tried their Java Chip and Chocolate Fondue (which is good for two). I enjoyed the fondue, but I recommend that you put all the chocolates inside the cup when it is served (or whatever is that called), to avoid the sticking of the chocolate to the sides. Even though it is really artsy and tasty, they should add more food that has to be dipped in the fondue. The bread and the marshmallows are the bomb! After you enjoy your fondue, you could pour the milk, that also comes with it, to the cup until is already warm. This serves as a hot choco that you can enjoy. Overall, the place is hot and the electric fan ruins the aura. They should fix that, and there are CCTVs all around the place that causes me and my friend to be uncomfortable. Cafes should be student-friendly so they could do whatever they like to do like sleep and all. They also have an unlimited wifi and electric socket that you may use if you have a laptop. The experience in this place is memorable for me, so I will definitely come back to this place with my special someone! TIP: you could bring the teddy bear in you place or wherever you are sitting, just ask permission to the staff. The place is hot, so do not wear jacket. We are going to come back for their ramen!
The architectural design of the place is fantastically great, the space was maximized to hold many groups of costumers. The place is cozy, full of cute stuff, splendid and a good place to stay with barkada for chitchats and quality time. It’s up to you if you want to sit on the floor (it’s clean of course) or chair. There are spaces for two, small groups or even large group. The place also offers large stuff toys to borrow if you want to take you and only yourself in their cafe&restau. Date a cow, or a bear, a dog, or a PANDA
about the food, there’s something with this fondue. The odoriferous melted chocolate makes us excited to savor this. This is worth 250php, and good for two persons. There were bananas, thin biscuits, cloudy marshmallows, melted chocolate, chocolate chips, and milk! It’s your choice what to dip to the dethawed delectable chocolate.
Korean inspired restaurant and cafe in manila SPOTTED! A must stop for your korean food craving 👌🏻 I love everything in this place from the ambiance, interior, service ,food choices and also they serve unlimited kimchi for free!! Would definitely come back here with my friends. 👍🏻
It was actually my 2nd time to eat bibimbab from a real Korean restaurant, I usually try it since that is their specialty, and oh! 1 order can be shared by 2. We were even given a lot of kimchi sidings. (Di tinipid) There's really a value for the money.
The restaurant was only serving us and another table that time, so we took some time to shot at their fancy interiors.
We really enjoyed our restaurant visit, and we'll definitely come back.
A quick and cheap fix for your Korean cravings. Quite hidden inside a building in Pablo Ocampo, this resto is very photogenic with all the wooden pcs of furniture as well as stuffed animals everywhere. A nice place to hangout. Serving sizes are generous and could very well fit for two.
Food is ok and the serving is big. I will definitely come back here with my friends and try their other food. The guy on the cashier is not friendly though. He doesn't know how to smile and looks irritated all the time. He should not be there to face customers since he doesn't know how to be customer oriented.
One of several cute Korean cafes within walking distance of DLSU, this restaurant is all about homey ambience and friendly service like the rest of its competitors. But what makes it easily my favorite are those huge too-fluffy-for-my-life stuffed toys which you can take with you to your table! As for the food, my supposedly healthy ramen (the menu said "spicy healthy ramen") looked, smelled and tasted instant. My iced green tea latte, though, was surprisingly satisfying and comforting! Cheese gimbap was okay. For dessert, the choco lava cake was nice and moist but there was no oozing chocolate effect, which was weird. Overall, this place is worth a try -- just remember never to order spicy ramen with a milk-heavy drink like latte. Trust me on both. ;)

First, the place and ambiance is really great. The big teddy bears placed on each space in the restaurant was very comfy and cute. Second, the Bimbimbab is delicious I forgot what Bimbimbab did I chose. And the french toast was also delicious
The place is so good but i didnt like their bibimbap. But still it's one of the cutest things around taft. A must try korean place. Yaaayyyy
One of the most famous Korean food I am familiar with is the "Bibimbap". Me and my friends decided to check out Shp Bibimbab restaurant located around Vito Cruz area. By its resto name, I ordered chicken bibimab together with Iced Green Tea Latte , but they have ramen, gimbab and others on top of their menu.
As expected, the dish is a bit spicy since most Korean dishes are served with spices and sauces with a kick of spiciness. But infairness, I did enjoy my order since the allovcation of meat and various veggies were just right. We also had spam gimbab for sharing and the taste was satisfactory.
Ambiance wise, more laid back and good for chilling out but the weather is just really hot outside so i guessed the ventilation inside the resto is also affected. Good thing they situated electricfan all around that made the stay better.
Their ambiance is great, homey feeling. I like their ramen. It has a budget friendly and great place to just hang out and catch up with your friends. They also have frappe, latte and sodas.
I've been coming here since summer 2014. The place is cozy, and the food is actually yummy. I don't find it too pricey and their servings are big. I keep coming back to this place because it is superb! :)
Definitely one of my fav cafes/restaurants in town!! Will surely go back here ? I love their strawberry latte, and their spam gimbap ? It is actually my first time to taste gimbaps. And I liked it!! ❤️ I also love the ambiance but the ventilation must also be improved ? and lastly, their human-sized stuffed toys ?❤️
SHP Bibimbab is both a cafe and restaurant. The food price compensates for how big their servings are. We tried their best selling Beef Bibimbab which is served with soup (I love the soup) and Kimchi (I am not a fan of Kimchis). The soup and kimchi are both unlimited btw. I could not finish it all due to its large serving! We also ordered another of their best sellers, Chicken Gimbap (OMG you guys really need to try this ugh THIS GIMBAP IS HEAVEN). We also ordered Chocolate fondue which is served with sliced banana, marshmallows, biscuits, and milk too. Being a chocolate lover, I would like to request for more chocolate fondue! LOL. The place is well decorated and really cute. There were lots of huge teddy bears about the size of a 5 year old lying around. I will definitely go back for more!!
SHP Bibimbap Restaurant and Cafe is a unique place to hang out, do your homework/project, date or even just sleep. Humongous (lol) bears and other stuffed toys are scattered around the whole restaurant. These are available for free hugs or maybe a date if you don't have one (hehe).
If you love Korean food (cheese ramen, gimbap, bibimbap, etc.), this is one place to try. They serve their food with kimchi and the day's soup.
Their drinks are a blast and I personally love the pink lemonade soda. It's refreshing and cool. You can also try their frappes which they serve in very adorable mason jars.
However, this cafe only accommodate (lets you stay) if you buy. So it's like one drink/food before you sit. But putting that aside, everything else is pretty and cute and adorable and whatever positive term you could think of.
A neat coffee place near benilde where in you can study for your exams or read a good book. the bibimbap here is good. so cozy and very relaxing if you wanted to escape from the busy world

I love their Bibimbap here! It gives apt serving and it really has an enough pinch of spicy-ness. The place also is cozy! It really gives a touch of Korea's café places!
Been here twice already. I enjoyed the ambiance, the foods especially the spicy ramen! And they have big servings. The place is so cool, I enjoyed sitting on the floor with the big teddy bears besides me. Will definitely be back here :)
This is definitely one of the best Korean restaurants you could have ever been. I love the food! Their ramen is big (serving) and tasty! Their Gimbab is also good. But I think it would be better if they are served hot. I also had their Cookies and Cream blended and I really liked it. I also tasted their French toast, hmmm nothing extraordinary though. I mean, we can do that at home. We also had fondue for dessert. Their chocolate is different and it is also good. The staff are friendly. They even took a photo of us to be posted on their Facebook account. The place is very cozy with the company of stuffed toys. They do not have tiles though. I think it would be more inviting. But the place is really cute!! I love it. HOWEVER, THE BAD THING ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT IS...THEIR FOOD IS REALLY PRICEY. The french toast is pricey if you're going to look at it. The fondue is too much for P200 and they only have few chocolate and mallows. Their drink is almost P200 (P170 to be exact) too huhu. I spent P400 but it is because I shared with my friend. What more if I'm going to buy alone? Huhu
Experience to money ratio is above average, ambiance?, it's good for an asian restaurant/cafe. Highly recommended for a low budget date. :-)
SHP Bibimbab is a secret haven for korean aficionados! The ambiance is very much like a place you see in koreanovelas. Their food taste are more on the conservative side and may seem a little bit expensive but eating there is worth the experience!
The first time I ate here was also the first time I ate Bibimbab. It was the first time I have known of the dish and I'd say I enjoyed it a lot. The servings a little big for an eater like me so I think the serving can actually satisfy two people. If you are a kimchi lover its unlimited there!:)
The interior is fun as well and has a touch of Korean. Its a bit pricey though so we only eat here occassionally.
So far the cutest korean cafe that I've been to!
It was quite hard to find since the nearby stores are mostly computer shops. The first entrance is a single door then you need to climb a few stair to find the main door to the cafe. When we entered, the crews greeted us "Annyeong-haseyo" really loudly, we were surprised by their greetings but it was nice that they were all jolly. Hehe
The first thing that came to my mind was "oh em! cuteness overload!" ❤️there are plenty of big stuffed toys seated on the chairs, there are also writings and drawings on their wall. Then you'll be seated in a korean style table, tipong naka indian seat.
I had their spicy cheese ramen (P120) and mango yoghurt smoothie (P160). The ramen was flavorful even though the noodles were like the one on instant noodles, I very much enjoyed its' broth :). Their smoothie was very refreshing and not that sour. ????
Crew are so accommodating. My sister and I really enjoyed the food. I ordered spicy healthy ramen and blueberry soda ade while my sister got chicken bibimbap and cookies and cream frappe. We really like the blueberry ade and even ordered for a takeout. For the frappe, I like the whip cream compared to starbucks. The serving was enough for each of us. I don't really like their kimchi and soup. But overall, I like the place and their food. My sister and I are already planning our next visit to the place.
I love everything about this place. Their thungs and interior are kawaiii. Even their washroom. Taste of food is good also and at a very affordable price. You get to have your own bear while eating.

The place is really cuteeeee because of its ambiance. It also has elevated spaces and stuff just like in Noriter. A great place fot hanging out.
I am a sucker for all things whimsical and this little hole-in-the-wall is no exception. When my younger sib recommended that I pay Noriter a visit, I was, since then, on the prowl for similarly themed cafés in the Malate area. SHP Bibimbab is a cutesy café win. The ambience is clean cut, light, and comforting. The cuddly stuffed toys on the chairs are a lovely welcome. The overall clean and bright look of the interior deserves a prize.
Unto the food. The Korean dishes that the café serves are mediocre. A Korean shop near my place makes better gimbap. Their bibimbab is nothing stellar. I thought it would really be something since they named their establishment after the dish. The ramyun is prolly the instant type commonly sold in local Korean grocery shops. Their beverages, though, are absolutely crave-satisfying. Their iced green tea latté should be an order staple. It's a bit on the pricey side at Php180. But, the presentation (hello, mason jar) makes up for it in addition to the unique taste of the beverage.
Their pastries are another issue. I found out that they sell muffins from S&R. I have not tried any of their cakes yet, so, i do not know if those were from S&R, too. Of course, the red velvet cupcake tastes amazing. After all, it IS from S&R. I kinda wish they bake their own pastries. That would have been much cooler. Pastries with a Korean twist. Sounds yummy.
The place is a cool venue to hang out with friends. A lot of the SDA-Benilde crowd populates the café. Chatty teenagers at close distance can be really overbearing. It does get quieter on Saturdays when it is most conducive for studying or reading a good book. The place has its own restroom, so, lingering a bit longer would not be a problem. Take a fenced dining cubicle by yourself and get ready to lull away. (Last tip: the Kpop background music is quite obtrusive. So, if that's not your music genre, take your ear plugs with you.)
first came here because of the recommendation from my friend, and i quite consider this place as a hole in wall, because of the location that's unusual since I've always pass by the place but never in my wildest imagination would think that there's a cute-looking cafe & restaurant.
upon entering the place i was overwhelmed by the cuteness overload, stuffed toys and huge bears on the empty seats, so for solo-ers won't feel lonely since those bears can accompany you.
but i need to place order and pay it on the counter first before i enjoy hanging out with these cutiepie.
there are not many kinds of korean dishes, only the typical ones like, kimbap, bibimbap, ramyun but it comes with various flavor. well, understandably since it's cafe restaurant so more on the kinds of drinks.
i went with their rice with chicken and mayo, tuna kimbap and lemon ade.
the chicken mayo tasted like mcdo mcnuggets with not so good mayo (if only its japanese mayo kewpie it would be better), so the tuna kimbap were better and LEMON ADE!, boy it's soooo refreshing. my kind of lemonade!
ever since then, this is one of my favorite place to hang out. :)
You can order not only dessert but also their maincourse. Love the ambience but their kimchi is a nay. Great place to hangout with friends or cute lunch!
