I love the food here. I always ordered 2 pcs chicken. And sometimes I ordered the chap chae if I'm super hungry. The price here are moderate for me. For the service, they didn't gave you the food once you have ordered, it will take about 10-15 minutes for them to give you the food.
Availed of their special buy 1 take 1 2pcs chicken combo soy garlic flavor and also bought bulgogi soup. Their chicken is still so tasty and yummy even after all this time. Bulgogi soup is also very good though serving is small.
It's the very first restaurant you'll see when you enter University Mall. It's open early 10:00 AM so I decided to try and eat here (even though I'm not a fan of BonChon Chicken).
The place is spacious. Service is okay/satisfactory. I ordered BonChon Bibimbowl (P105.00 without drinks and egg). I asked for water only and I added egg (which spent me P15.00). Serving size is pretty good for 1. It was on the sweet side while getting spicy (tolerable) and salty on some parts.
Not bad for P120.00.
Bonchon is a go-to place for me when I’m craving for chicken and I’m also tored of the usual fast food flavor.
Soy-garlic is something that fulfills your appetite and yet makes you want to eat more - the skin of the chicken is always well cooked and well-seasoned.
Cheap, affordable, appetizing and fulfilling. 👌🏻
As for the place, typical fast-food setup. Not too cramped though except during lunch time. It get’s a little crowded. 😅
Always love the food. It’s just that sometimes the service is a bit slow or more likely the server is not that mostly aware if he already served the food of the customer.

This was the branch where I first tried korean chicken. We ordered the Team Bonchon Chicken and just added extra rice. I realized that one piece of their chicken is not enough for light eaters like me, their tasty wings are somewhat small compared to my usual.
I love the beef stew here in Bonchon.
Sabaw pa lang ulam na.
Fast service.
The chicken wings (Soy Garlic) are also awesome. Spicy flavor is too spicy for me.
Squid bowl (soy garlic) is also good.
One of the places in Taft that's always packed with students. Since I live near Taft, I prefer going here on weekends where there are relatively less students around.
I love their spicy chicken, spicy fish and chips, and bibimbowls! The spices are of the right kick.
The downside on the fish fillet is that the batter is too much that you feel icky after eating
Fish and chips + Chapchae + 1 pc honey glazed chicken with rice - This has always been my order ever since. I've tried their fish tacos just the other day, it was for 75php. The taco was smaller than I expected, but the taste was good. I hope they make it bigger the next time around 'cause it's for 75php. But all in all, given the taste, ambiance, and service...Bonchon definitely won a place in my heart!💖
For only 155 pesos, you'll already have a medium-sized bowl Beef/Chicken Bibimbap, a cup of soup, and a medium-sized drinks. I tried their Beef Bibimbowl. It's really goooood. I love how spicy it is; really fit for the well cooked beef, and steamed veggies with crispy seaweeds. I am really satisfied.
If you're on a tight...
Trying BonChon Chicken for the first time is kinda meh. At first glance, their food is pricey compared to the usual fast food joints. I ordered their chops ricebox and while the serving is alot (which made it worth it), I didn't like how the flavor is only in the skin. I also chose the Crunchy Garlic flavor which I wasn't that fond of. Interior was very nice but the place was very busy and chaotic (noisy) compared to other food places around Taft. Service is slow and despite the large size of the restaurant, it still gets full and me and my friends had a hard time getting a table.
Second experience was better. We had a gathering on our dorm and the staff ordered food from Bonchon Chicken. I liked the Soy Garlic flavor alot and the food experience was great, this time I get to eat their thigh and drumsticks part (which is still alot of servings). I really hope they do change the small serving of their rice, bitin especially for a rice lover like me!
Not fond of their fries. It needs improvement.
I don't normally eat Calamari but a friend swears by it so I tried it. It was good, especially their sauce!
Blueberry Koyo really tastes like heaven for just P75!! I have tried BonChon's chapchae, snackwich, crepes, chicken, and chops. For me, their meals are quite expensive for normal students. I recommend the Chaphae for those who have less than P80 budget. I like the soy garlic chops and pair it with their spicy mayo for more twist. Their ice tea is really tasty and my friend is really addicted to it. The crepes are okay too, worth the price because of the serving. Their service is not that fast. You should try their koyos!!
Ever since Bon Chon opened, it has become one of my favorite chicken fast food restaurants. I particularly like their Chops Rice Box as I can order two thigh parts in one meal, something that most of the time other well known fast food chains do not do. Also, their chops have almost no bones in them that I would have to go through which makes eating it easier and more enjoyable. For dessert, they also offer Mango Sans Rival which at first I did not like, but the flavor kind of grows on you after a few mouth fulls.
