Not your ordinary classic filipino viand. Perfect atmosphere that will surely transport you back to the typical warm house setting of filipino dining. We ordered their Sizzling Sisig Awww with matching shout out from the waiter. Mayor Bistek and Isang Kawaling Chinoy Fried Rice.
Adobo, Fried Kangkong, Garlic Rice, Leche Flan & Riper Mango Shake
We’re so hungry and decided to eat in a pure Filipino cuisine. We chose Pedro and Coi/Col due to their unique ambiance and their Caldereta was good when we tasted it years ago. So, trying out something new from their menu, we ordered the dishes stated above and I swear, we weren’t disappointed. We enjoyed the food. The taste is satisfying, the portion of food served was good as well (!). Sadly, their Halo- halo that time wasn’t available but Leche Flan was good as well.
Maybe next time, try to serve the food faster.
One of the best Filipino restaurants I’ve been! I highly recommend this for families and even couples who are into Filipino food. Their kare kare and halo halo ❤️ Will surely go back here! Their food is very affordable!
I have actually tried the Fisher Mall branch a long time ago, so was excited to dine at a different branch again. We ordered shrimp bab, talong ranger and kaldereta ni Ka Noli. We finished everything instantly!
Love the overall ambiance , felt like a real filipino culture embrace you,
highly recommended for foreigner, who cant go to provinces, this is the nearest place to experience authentic filipino cuisine,
Great and Creative Interior and Catchy menu namings.
+ instagram worthy yung place. makikita talaga na pinag isipan yung interior design
+ service is really great.
+ the food are delicious.
+ you get what you pay for.
- mahirap umorder kase kakaiba yung mga pangalan ng food nila. for example, meron silang apir disapir. ano yon? odiba.
September 19, 2015 - Went here to celebrate my brother's 24th birthday. I got shookt how creative the concept of the place was. The iconic jeepeney was part of the interior design as well as the bahay kubo where we ate. They're very unique on how they name their dishes and I can no longer remember them. Haha. In terms of the taste of the food, they'll fall to above average to superb. They're very tasty. Perfect ambience plus great food.
We were attracted because of the interiors, but will come back for their food.
We ordered a lot for a family of 6...
Chicken Sisig Aaww
Sizzling Bulalo
Porkchop with camote chips
Inihaw na chicken
Baked Chicken
Pink Guava
Salabat tea
Boy bawang fried rice
Review: EVERYTHING we ordered is 10/10.
A twist: we were all shocked when the crew shouted while serving the "sisig aaww" because they will literally shout.
Will definitely come back.
The wait is over for this store to open its branch here in SM Manila.
Finally, we got the taste and feel of Pedro ‘N Coi resto. On its opening day, I tag along some friends. We are thrilled when we were handed the menu. The food was named after some artists and in such manner as only Filipino could understand and laugh about the name of food listed in the menu.
The restaurant’s exterior is designed with a “sari sari” store and a parked jeepney while its interior design is an old Filipino house. There are also some posters and signages that are true blue Filipino, a typical posters that you can see in the streets of Manila.
What excites you while ordering your food is that you’ll have to shout “Darna” and one crew will come and get your order. Well, how about shouting “Ding ang bato” when getting your bill?
If you ordered “sisig” the crew will shout “aaaw aaaaw sisig” to your delight. Don’t forget to taste the Pedro ‘N Coi salad a sweet potato chips, mangoes and fermented shrimps to taste.. the taste is amazing.
My chance to visit this place again… very soon!
One Word - DISCERNIBLE.
I was just released from the emergency room after a migraine attack and needed to grab my son's uniform from the BSP main office so we decided to drop by the mall and eat first and take my meds. Pedro n' Coi immediately caught my attention. From the exterior, you could see an old upper class house inside! Imagine a house and a jeepney inside a restaurant - quaint isn't it?
So in we go. Even the menu is fancy, they labeled their food in such a manner that most Filipinos would understand and laugh about. I ordered (I had to shout "Darna", a Filipina super hero for the server to approach us) the following:
•PNC salad - pickled cucumber 🥒 and radish, mangoes, anchovies on a bed of sweet potato chips (yes, CAMOTE chips!)
•Sizzling sisig awwww - baked porkloin topped with poached egg and garlic-miso
•Beastmode Bistek - bistek rice and canton noodles covered with scrambled egg
I was amazed by the restaurant's interior design and was more dazed by the PNC salad 🥗. I never thought of having sweet potato 🍠 chips to be on a salad, not even as a topper. But this place radically changed my thinking. And I loved the taste! They serve it with zesty lemon 🍋 dressing-you must try this! The beastmode bistek will bring back college memories when you are away from home and all you could conjure from the small cooking area of your dormitory/boarding house is instant pancit canton (lucky me brand) topped on rice and have scrambled egg on the side. This serving though added bistek (beef steak Filipino version) sauce and mixed it in your rice 🍚 before topping it with instant pancit canton and scrambled egg. The sizzling sisig awwww was not as dry as what I expected it to be and I would have given the place a 5 if not for this. (Improve sisig please) The dish is so oily I was afraid to touch it 😬
If you ever visit this place, try the other pieces in their menu-am sure it'll tickle your palate.
Oh, do not forget to visit their restroom 🚽 - very cute design (do not use the toilet though because it's clogged 🤣)
