Date of visit: February 2020
Had a Valentine's dinner at Li Li. We had the following: har gao, salted egg squid, e-fu noodles with assorted mushrooms and vegetables and chilled mango pudding. Presentation-wise, the E-fu noodles were underwhelming. It looks like basic pancit canton. But it tastes so good. I can't stop eating it. If ever we get to dine there again, I'd definitely order this. For desserts, I really wanted to try the steamed piggy buns because they're so cute but sadly, it's already sold out. We just got the chilled mango pudding which is also good. Bonus: I got a complimentary heart-shaped chocolate since it was Valentine's day.
Price is steep especially for some of their dishes. When we ate there, there were just a few customers and we we seated far from each other. They also have a private dining hall and the one near our table is called 'Library'. Too bad I can't take a peek inside as it was occupied at that time.
3rd Hotel's the Charm!
We are dim sum fanatics and first tried Solaire's Red Lantern (meh), then New World's Jade Restaurant (so-so), and finally Li Li's at New Coast Hotel. Ahhh this one was finally a hit! All the dishes were quite tasty (except for the cold beef dish). One average dish out of all the delightful dishes is an excellent score!
Staff Lyra and Hazel's impressive service and courtesy sealed the deal and made for a memorable dining experience. Burp!
One of the best chinese restaurants in Manila. Their unlimited dim sum buffet is also amazing and super worth every single cent! Great food!
Hello Dimsum All You Can! This is Li Li’s on going promotion with dimsum and other selected menu items like pork buns, custard taro and desserts at only Php 1,088 nett.
For us it was worth the money as we may have ordered several servings of Hakaw and Xiao Long Bao. Aside from their dimsums, their soup of the day was pretty decent, the main dishes like sweet and sour pork and pork barbeque were good as well. Plus you may order other menu items from their standard price menu if you’re craving for noodles, veggies or other menu items with additional charges.
I've dined at Li Li before but it was my first time to try their Dimsum Buffet for P1,088 nett per person. The price is really worth it because it comes with my favorite hakao and over 30 dimsum items to choose from. The Scallop Dumpling and the Steamed Dumpling with Crab Meat and Shrimp were some of the new items we really liked as well. It also comes with a few main dishes like Sweet & Sour Pork and Braised Pork Belly, plus fried rice and desserts, so it's a great deal! It's even available for Sunday brunch at the same price.
Li Li is and will always be one of our favorites when it comes to delicious dim sum and superb service! Ever since the first time we tried their food, the quality still hasn't changed. The food is still amazing and it has been one of the best Chinese restaurants in town ever since its inception. Price is also very reasonable and affordable, for only Php 1,088 per person, it's already UNLIMITED Dim Sum, Appetizers, Mains, Roastings, Soup, and even Desserts! What more can you ask for!
When I received an invite to dine at Li Li - New World Manila Bay Hotel, I was dreading the day because of traffic but it was a surprisingly not so frenetic Friday. I arrived at Li Li calm and collected and the place exudes that old world opulence of yesteryears with the well furnished interiors. We had the Dim sum All You Can for a budget friendly 1,088pesos considering you have a choice of over 50 plus dim sum, appetizers, roast dishes, soup, main course and dessert, and what a surprise even the drinks are included on the price! It is like having more than what was advertised! It is Dim sum and More - All You Can Eat!
We had to pace ourselves with all the delicious choices, some of the items rotate seasonally depending on the availability of the products, so expect each visit to be unique from the last. We enjoyed more than half of what is on the menu and here is a small peek of it: Honey Glazed Pork BBQ - roasted char sui style pork in a sweet honey glaze, this goes perfectly well with their man tao bread. The Roasted Pork has the perfect ratio of meat : fat. The skin was crisp, and had a glistening glow. The tender meat had a clean taste, dip in a bit of hoisin sauce for that great salty contrast. The Shrimp Dumplings was just great! Plump, whole juicy tiny shrimps covered and packed the dumpling. Dip in a bit of chili sauce to bring out more flavor. The steamed pumpkin dumpling had a unique taste because the wrap itself was made of pumpkin. Mashed and thick wrap that melts in your mouth. The grainy texture is still there as well as the nutty flavor of the pumpkin. The Baked Pastry Puff Pork Buns was a combination of sweet, flaky and butter pastry encasing a savory pork barbeque filling. It was so addicting, eating one is a travesty! The Spinach Scallop dumplings is another unique creation, putting together healthy and nutritious spinach with soft scallops in a dumpling, this i dip in a bit of light soy.
Apart from the roasts and dim sum they also have mains, tried the crispy sweet and sour pork which i enjoyed very much even with its rather overly crisp batter. The sauce was too bright for orange but had great sour taste. The soft tofu with century egg was refreshing because of the light and creamy tofu complimented by the gelatinous century egg. The fried rice was equally good but one cup is enough to make room for more dim sum. Out of all the desserts we tried, the Peanut Roll was delicious because of the ground, almost powdered nuts paired with a soft warm rice cake. For drinks, their signature Guava Iced Tea is a must order. Service was impeccable, they engage in small talk and was very knowledgeable about the menu items.
When in Manila, a visit to Li Li is in order, to try out their amazing Dim Sum All You and More! Buffet. Recommended.
Dined here on Sunday for boyfriend’s birthday. I made reservations beforehand thinking it would be full on a Sunday but luckily it wasn’t. We tried their Unlimited Dimsum Buffet for 1088php and boy, was it worth it!
All which we tried were really, very good. Personally, we both loved the Baked Puff Pastry stuffed with Pork BBQ the most (The one on the lower right side in the photo). It was delicious! You can definitely taste the melty butter on the first bite. The sweetness of it matches perfectly with the savory meat inside. And the texture was just perfect! ❤️ Of course we ordered more of these after.
From making reservations until dining in then finishing our meals, the staffs were very accommodating. Thumbs up! This is one of the best unli-dimsum places within Manila.
Very classy place. Food was quite expensive but it was definitely worth every centavo. Enjoyed our dinner here. We will surely come back here soon.

The menu is quite extensive and has everything from fowl-seafood-veggies etc.
We were impressed with the menu. Not your trypical western style Chinese offerings.
I’ve seen dishes here not available in any other Chinese restaurant in Manila. We ordered the hot and sour soup(not on menu) , Cantonese style roast duck and squid with salted egg! All washed down with a Tsing Tao beer.
Enjoyed our dinner. Will certainly come back.
I have been going to LiLi since it first opened many years ago and it’s only today that I’ve been disappointed. Sadly, the quality and size of the dimsum have diminished. Also the number of dishes available in the dimsum buffet. Maybe it’s because the price has remained the same but I don’t think that is an excuse for inferior quality. I won’t be going back anytime soon. Service by the young waiter who took care of us was very good. I didn’t get his name.
As part of our staycation in AG New World Hotel Manila Bay, Mathelle and I had dinner at Li-Li Restaurant, the Chinese fine dining restaurant located on the 8th floor of the hotel. Li-Li Chinese Fine Dining showcases classic Cantonese dishes using the freshest ingredients, live seafood and top-quality meats prepared by their Hong Kong chefs. [Read More]
Great ambiance matched with great food and service .A great place for fine dining and executive meetings. Oh I love the concept of their dimsum treat ! This is a must try for everyone!
Always love their dimsum buffet. Tasty, fresh and lots of choices. But I've noticed, they have taken off a lot of mains and desserts since the hotel became AG New World. When I was still availing the DG promos before, their desserts were spread on a long table in one room, now there are only 3 choices left. Although still good now but it can't be compared to the old dimsum buffet during Hyatt's time, quality and choices were also a bit compromised. Service though is still impeccable and the restaurant is still elegant. Hope they'll bring back all the desserts before and the lechon maki, I really missed that one.
If you appreciate a luxe dining ambiance and value the luxury of space then head to Lili Chinese Restaurant where you can indulge the classic Cantonese dishes, using the freshest ingredients, live seafood and top-quality meats. You’ll find an extensive choice of fine wines from the cellar and exceptional teas from the tea bar.
I feel so grateful to be invited for a company Chinese New Year dinner gathering this year 2018, and only have the chance to blog about this restaurant and share all the delicious food we had.
Lili - the chinese restaurant at the new world manila bay hotel offers the unlimited dimsum and side dishes in their menu. Most of the restaurants that offer unlimited dishes usually sacrifices quality for quantity but not this resto. They offer you a checklist of food you want to order as well as quantity per dish that you prefer hence the food always arrives freshly cooked with premium ingredients. The price can be a bit costly at P1800-2200 per head making it a bit more “mahal” and the source of hesitation in dining at that resto. Make sure youre going there with an empty stomach thats ready to munch all those xiao long paos and dimsum your way. 😂

Rarely do the Zamoras find ourselves in the Manila area, but we would cross oceans and climb mountains for some awesome dimsum, and Li Li, the premiere Chinese restaurant of AG New World Manila Bay Hotel, is the home of one of the best Dimsum All You Can Promos that you can find in Metro Manila!
Lili’s raises the bar for all Chinese restaurants in the Metro. Coming from a Chinese family who loves comparing different Chinese restaurants, Lili’s is the our definition of fine dining with Chinese food cooked to perfection. Lili’s gives justice to the socialite whom the restaurant was named after - very classy and Chinese all rolled into one.
We always find ourselves going back to this restaurant, even though it’s downtown. My family would always look forward to dining here during special occasions or even just a regular day out. You can’t get your hands of their scrumptious appetizers followed by delicious Chinese meals - a few of our favorites:
Hot & Sour Soup - this is undoubtly the best version of this soup. We’ve tried a number of Chinese restaurants locally & internationally already. This one has never been beaten yet. We always find ourselves comparing the Hot & Sour Soups to Lili’s.
Mapo Tofu - Another one of our staple orders. There are different ways to cook Mapo Tofu. This is also one of the best Mapo Tofus out there.
Sweet & Sour Pork - This dish can be found in almost any Chinese restarants from the lower to upper tier. But again, Lili has never failed us. The sweet & sour flavors blend well with the pork and leaves behind a savory aftertaste.
Overall, top notch service from the crew. The ambience reminds you of classy old China. Interior pieces are absolutely gorgeous. You can mistake the pieces for museum relics! Lili’s has never failed us. Unfortunately, I’m never able to take photos, because whenever the food is served to our table. Everyone is quiet & just like that... everything is gone. Don’t order their dimsums though! It’s disappointing, but their main menu is the king here.
Will always be our favorite restaurants here in Manila! We keep coming back for more - even if we order the same set of dishes everytime.

Budget-wise, i wouldn’t recommend this buffet dining experience.
Taste - ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ambience- ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Staffs/accomodation - ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Value for money -❤️❤️❤️❤️
Food selection - chinese, japanese american, italian dishes.(there are preptime for the pasta, seafoods and chinese cuisines. You can also order for wine or beers but those are exclusive if the buffet price.
We went there fir lunch, and we ate for the whole time(12-3). I love their sashimi tho but there are few sushi to choose from(california, tuna abd fried sushi, yes just 3 sushi variants). And their ginger is quite good. If you are a vegan, worry not, as there are also vegetable salads with fresh ingredients prepped for you.
The staffs are always around so we didn’t have any problem asking for our needs. And they are a bunch of smiling faces too so it’s nit awkward fir you to ask for some assistance. They would be glad to.
We had an intimate dinner with our Chinese friends; they were told Li Li was highly recommended. The barbecue platter was really good, i enjoyed the crunchy skin of suckling pig and the tasty duck. I especially loved the crunchy vegetables and pork spare ribs. The place is deal for families and small groups.
Everything tasted authentic and cooked with fresh ingredients. Definitely going back.
The restaurant has an air of class about it. Food was great. Ambiance was excellent. Service was superb.
You have to know your dimsum if you are doing the dimsum buffet. Unlike other buffets, this one is served at your table. You just need to check out the items that you want.
Definitely, going back to LiLi.
Authentic is what your looking for? Then i suggest Li Li will definitely satify your expectations. The ingredients they use are sure to be fresh plus injecting in their great cooking experties. These food are also said to bring fortune and prosperity during Chinese New Year.
Li Li Restaurant is highly recommended for those people who loves dimsum - like me. They are lots of choices, from all time favorite "siomai" to roasting station to wok station.
We ordered:
Dong Ting Premium Tea = 262
*It was very refreshing to start our meal
with this tea. The taste is light and earthy.
We got this tea in a pot which is refillable
but the pot is too small for a group of three.
I think the pot is only good for 200ml which
is a little bit bigger with our tea cup so it
cant even fill 3 cups but it was okay. 👍
Deep Fried Spring Roll with Shrimp = 210
*Not too oily for a deep fried. Still moist
inside which indicates of it's freshness.
Taste is incomparable with local Chinese
Spring roll. 👍
Har Gao Steamed Dumplings = 218
Steamed Sio Mai Crab Meat = 220
*both are nose catcher! And the taste is
exactly what the name says. We actually
ordered for 5 different dim sums which
others I couldnt recall the names and all
of them are worth the price. 👍
Bouillon Dumpling Soup w/ Crab Meat = 518
*The taste is actually bizarre coz I haven't
encountered such soup. The server
recommended to add some vinegar to
elevate the taste and he's right, the taste
completely transformed to A class soup.
Definitely my favorite. 👍
We had a bunch of dessert which I couldnt recall their names lol. Two desserts captured
my memory like the cold soup with fresh coconut and papaya, also the sweet steamed
bun. 👍👍👍
The ambiance is really Chinese I must say, we are the only non-chinese guests at that moment. The place is not crowded and the diners were all for a serious good food. To avoid intimidation might as well put on some business casual attire.
We went to a wedding banquet at the new world manila bay and the servers confirmed that the caterer is the chinese resto LiLi inside the same hotel. The food was excellent except for the saltiness. Sadly, the saltiness degraded the taste of the food a bit. If the saltiness was just controlled, the dinner would have been awesome. Service was good. Maybe my salt tolerance doesnt match with others but too much salt is not good for your health either.
use to be my family's favorite chinese dimsum restaurant.. it has degraded since the hotel's changed management.
not satisfied during our last visit.
i dont think i will be back unless i hear improvements.
still a 3.5 because it was the place to go for chinese restaurant in malate.

Buffet dimsum places can be quite tricky, since most of the stuff is done by batch, ordering is a hit or miss. Li Li manages to do things right by only doing it per order and per piece to keep quality and taste up. They have assembled quite an elegant dimsum set from the usual hakaws and the siomais to the extraordinary stuff. Service a bit inconsistent due to the number of diner requests but still good. Highly recommended and top of my list.
One of my most favorite chinese restaurant to dine in. They do serve authentic chinese cuisine. They have really friendly staffs. 😄
We always avail of LiLi's Yum Cha dimsum buffet here. I love their selections and quality of food so much! Their food items coupled with the place's nice ambiance makes up a wonderful dining experience.
Dimsum buffet? Here! Pretty nice place to eat your heart out if you're a dimsum lover... Just order till you can! Nice ambiance as well and staff is great.
We always have our Laurier at lili for us it is the best kauri at specially it done in lilis largest private room with toilet, from appetiser to Peking duck it's all two thumbs up sometimes we fit 16 into the large table at lili private room , after dinner we try our luck at the casinos

Inspired from the life of Li Li, a Chinese socialite in Hong Kong, the restaurant is patterned after her house, complete with a wine cellar (the wine room), an elevated prayer room, a drawing room, a library that works as a private function room for big groups, and her children's bedrooms - Fei Fei and Bai Ling - that work as private function rooms for smaller parties. The story goes, she moved to Hong Kong when she got married and wanted to share the Cantonese cooking with her friends that she started to host dinner parties, with the food being the main attraction every night.
I have to admit, with all the different kinds of dim sum I got to try, it became a bit hard to keep up with what was what after a while! To kick-start the gastronomic dim sum adventure, a tiny basket with a steamed fish shape dumpling with cod fish and Chinese parsley was served. I felt a bit bad having to eat it - it was just so pretty! The delicate parcel it was in gave way to fresh pieces of cod that was just as delicate as the wrap it was in, with the parsley lending much of its flavor.
The steamed shrimp with dried seaweed roll, asparagus, and fish roe was a surprisingly good combination - definitely one of my favorites at Li Li. You taste the perfectly steamed shrimp, the mild saltiness of the seaweed wrap, there's a bit of a crunch from the asparagus spear sticking out from the dim sum, and the delicate fish roe starts popping gently once you start chewing.
The steamed crab meat dumpling with black mushroom is delicious! This is the Hyatt after all, so don't think they'd skimp on the crab meat, and the mushroom gave the dim sum extra texture. This was one badass dumpling!
The Har Gao and Sio Mai are always crowd pleasers. The steamed shrimp dumpling with bamboo pith is nothing new, but still a hit with me nonetheless. Who says no to perfect balls of steamed shrimp?
I loved the crunch of the pan-fried spinach dumplings with shrimp! If there's a dish I'd keep ordering again and again, it'll probably be that one. The pan-fried dumplings have no trace of oil, and each crunch it makes sings throughout the room, like bells on a Sunday.
The baked barbecued pastry puffs are one of the best I've ever had in Manila! The pastry is firm, but gives way without being too flaky with each bite, revealing bits of barbecued pork inside.
I found the deep-fried becho-becho stuffed with minced shrimp and drizzled with wasabi mayonnaise sauce to be a bit puzzling at first. I've always thought of becho-becho as more of a Malaysian breakfast food, and for this to be served as part of the dim sum buffet, a bit weird. I took it back after I tried a piece: this is really good shiz! I wanted to order three more!
For dessert, my all time favorite would have to be the buchi done Li Li's way- sesame balls with a white chocolate center. Biting into the buchi, you'd expect a type of bean paste filling, but this had white Belgian chocolate, which made my sweet tooth very happy.
Definitely one of the better dim sum places in Manila!
Li Li Dimsum Buffet in Hyatt is one of the best Cantonese dimsum buffets in Manila. It's just like the ones you can enjoy in Hong Kong. The restaurant is named after Li Li, a famous member of the Hongkong elite. Two of the private rooms are named after her daughters Fei Fei and Bai Ling. The menu is created by five highly skilled master chefs from Hong Kong to ensure the culinary quality and authenticity that Hyatt is known for.
You'll be given a dimsum menu (Note: it changes everyday) that you can check out. The food is cooked right after you order it. The buffet comes with free-flowing iced tea, soft drinks and local beer. Go easy on the drinks, though. It is better to order hot tea throughout the entire meal. You can also order wine from their cellar.
To get the most out of your experience in Li Li, order the dimsum best-sellers first and your dimsum favorites. Best-sellers would include the dimsum trio of:
- Shao Long Pao (Steamed Pork Dumplings "Shanghai" Style),
- Har Gao (Steamed Shrimp Dumplings) and
- Sio Mai (Steamed Pork Dumplings with Fly Fish Roe).
Most people also love -
- Baked Puff Pastry Filled with Honey Barbecued Pork, and
- The Deep-fried Taro Dumplings with Assorted Meat
Don't miss Li Li's Rice Porridge with Shredded Pork and Preserved Egg.
For chili lovers, remember to order the XO sauce, chili garlic sauce and some jalapeños.
Before ordering more dimsum, try the dessert buffet. The taro cream, chilled mango cream and the steamed buns for dessert are all highly recommended. Pair them with an array of cakes, fruits and sweet pastries.
After dessert, order the dimsum items that you haven't tried yet. Just a tip: It is impossible to order all the items on the dimsum menu and enjoy it. The restaurant has a "no sharing, no leftovers and no take-out" policy.
