It’s a good place to go to after a long day’s work. Grab a couple of brewskies and just chill. Best to order their own version of 4 cheese pizza - the crust was flakey just like a croissant’s. It was so good! Their pork sisig needs improvement though - there were more onions that pork 😂
Staff were friendly and let us stay until way past closing on a week night. Unfortunately, some menu items we asked for were unavailable. The dessert was nice (Brownie with Toasted Mallows, à la mode, pictured) but not exceptional. The music and general ambience is really conducive for after-work drinks, so maybe come here for a nightcap. Drinks are reasonably-priced and one is enough to hit the spot in terms of loosening up.
Their bacon and truffle pizza is the best! I keep coming back for it, plus of course the music that lets you groove to the beat! Good food, music, and service!
Went here for some drinks after work. The service was really fast. A chill place to hang. Good thing it is near and accessible to everyone who works in Ortigas or Mandaluyong.
My Japanese friend treated us here and we had a great time. Truffled mushroom pizza was so good and so as the salad and chicken. The best part was the mashed potato with sausage and egg. It is a good place to eat. 😋

Really enjoyed the food and ambiance here. We ordered their Spicy Buffalo Wings and their Sizzling Beef Salpicao dish.
Great place to watch sports matches as well. They played Wimbledon on one screen while they used the other to show the Fifa World Cup. Definitely recommend.
More of a bar feels than a restaurant. Mas madami tao during weekends. The food is good and place is great for birthdays:) mejo oldies yung mga tao during weekends haha pero you can try naman:) chill vibes yung place. Sana lang May jazz nights sila :)
Truly a must try is their very own sisig batchoy. Different approach to your usual pinoy favorite but still keeps the rich flavor we all love in a batchoy.
After watching a movie, me and my brother were so hungry.. but the mall restaurants are already closed.. so I decided to go to Greenfield knowing the place has a lot of varieties of food. Good thing we saw this restaurant.
We ordered a bucket of beer to cap off the night with an order of their Soutwestern Beef Quesadillas and their great tasting Wing Platter. The quesadilla was great and my brother liked it. Taste was great, and the portion is okay, a bit too small for us, but its okay. The wing platter comes with Honey soy, Buffalo and Garlic parmesan flavors. THE GARLIC PARMESAN WINGS IS THE BOMB. I would order that a million times over..
Service was great, really attentive and friendly servers, food was fast.

Been here four times already. Their amaretto sour is superb. Mas madami lang un servings nun yelo than the drink itself pero tama lang yung timpla. 💙 I have tried amaretto sour from neighboring bars pero mas gusto ko yung sa kanila. Sakto un lasa ng amaretto at hindi sobrang asim. Pair it with their pulled pork nachos (good for 4 persons for only 300+) **P.S. sorry for the previous price post, I was talking about Chubby's which priced at 150-160php** ✌🏻and solve na ang friday chill mo with the gang. 👍🏻
One of the best restaurants in Manila...I really enjoy the food, hospitality, and the sitting environment...I find a homely environment while dining there!
Our favorite here : crab salad (hefty servings of fresh crab meat), bacon and truffle pizza (very light but flavorful), pork chops are moist all best paired with their very cold beers. I love their 80s music every Saturdays. My happy place !
My current favorite bar for good food, ice-cold beer (think "below zero") and awesome music!
Super love their Tokwa't Baboy and I can definitely say that for me, it's the best in this side of the Metro.
Another must-try is their pizza selection... though small, it's heavenly delicious!!!
Awesome service too but you have to pardon them when the place is crowded - usually on Fridays and Saturdays... but one thing is for sure, they will never forget your order and will bring it to your table the soonest possible time.
The generation of the 80's will surely love this joint especially the videos they play on their monitors....
Another plus factor of Blackwood is that they are the CLEANEST bar in the Greenfield District.... even the comfort rooms are well attended to...

Absolutely loved their Flaky Pizzas! Perfect to pair with a cold bottle of beer. Vibe is just right if you want to relax. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.
Amazing food! I don't remember the exact name, but I ordered the bacon and mushroom truffle cream pizza. I have to admit that I wasn't expecting anything spectacular at first, but honestly I was pleasantly surprised. I've heard their tapa and burgers are pretty good too, so I'll be sure to try those dishes next time I go.
I think this resto-bar is underrated. We ordered the half grilled chicken with coconut adobo sauce and it was AMAZING. My daughter also ordered the carbonara and that too was really good. They also gave us a free mango pannacota for desert, it was the perfect way to end our meal. Kudos to this place! We will be back for sure 😊
My friends decided to have a simple saturday chill night. Ordered nachos, buffalo wings and bacon truffle pizza. It was surprising that the food tasted good specially the pizza. Though, the serving is small for the price, still it was to die for. The crust was done uniquely, like a croissant feel when bitten. My new favorite! For the nachos and wings, they were delicious too. But, the pizza is the highlight. I will definitely come back and try the other flavors.

Saturday night chill with a bucket of beer + some pulutan in good company ... nice ambience + good music from the 80's.... good food + reasonable price...
I was here once before and was impressed. I came back last night and now looking forward to being a regular. Well just like the expats that flock the place night after night.
The menu is by far highest in the Greenfield area but well justified with their unique selections. It became a pescetarian night with two fish dishes and a salad.
All three we had were delicious. What stood out most is their Salmon and Bangus Sinigang Php 550. To create an alternative sour taste, it had fresh pineapples. It gave Sinigang an interesting twist.
Their Arugula and Feta was generous at Php 240. It had a perfect mix of bitterness from greens, saltiness from cheese and the sweet blend of their dressing.
The Tuna Sisig is a must have. Although I would request them to take out the liver on the next one. It had a really nice kick of spice.

FM and I haven't had a quickie lunch date for quite some time. He's been working in the province and we only see each other during the weekend. Today though, he was in the city and I took it as an opportunity for us to have an unplanned lunch date.
We ended up at Blackwood Bar and Grill at Greenfield District.
FM ordered the crab and mango salad and I ordered the beef ravioli pasta and truffle mushroom soup.
The truffle mushroom soup costs Php195. The first plate I got tasted of burnt spices so we asked for it to be replaced. The second plate I got still had a strong taste of spice but it was a lot better compared to the first one. The truffle mushroom was not that creamy and based on the taste, they did not just use truffle oil but actual truffles.
The crab and mango salad costs Php395. It is a combination of mixed greens tossed in lemon aioli dressing topped with premium crab meat and ripe mango. It also came with strawberries and cherry tomatoes. The first plate we got did not contain any crab however. FM had to ask for it to be replaced and when it came back, it was overflowing with crab meat. It was pretty great for a salad.
The beef ravioli with shiitake mushroom sauce was at Php295. This homemade pasta filled with braised beef in red wine mushroom sauce is served with truffle cream drizzles. FM and I both noticed that the sides of the pasta were not cooked properly. For me, the taste was just a bit overbearing. It had too much of everything that your palette is simply overpowered but not in a good way.
Still, the staff were pretty good and engaging. I did not feel upset because they handled our complaints well and though this was not the most ideal date because of the chef's failures, I would still be willing to give this place another try.
My favorite thing about this place would be their music and dj. They played amazing sets of old school funk and jams that were mixed quite tastefully from Michael Jackson to the Swing Out Sisters. Then there was their pizza... Obviously it wasn't like any other pizza I've tasted, they served theirs with the crust that people normally use for baklava.. It was different and quite messy but it was indeed a treat.. Couldn't stop ordering more of the 4 cheese pizza and mushroom flavor! They also had quite heavy but delectable entrees, from their juicy roast chicken to their pastas and salads.. Definitely something easy to love and worth coming back for!!! A must try for folks who love the night life and for old souls who enjoy the beats. 😊
The drinks were fairly cheap and the place was clean and comfortable. Ambiance is nice and the service is good. The music was 80's though so depends if you're into that. We ordered their Honey Soy Wings (Php350) and it was bad. It was deep fried to death so the chicken was tough. The honey soy glaze was good, though, but it did not coat the wings. I liked that it came with vinegar as dipping sauce. It was unique and oddly worked with the overfried wings.
Hash cornbeef, salad, cheese sticks and cheeseburger is what we tried in a new hip place in greenfields. The ambience is nice, very cozy but the food is just ok. Was kinda expecting something more or something different perhaps.
Went here on a rainy Saturday evening for dinner before we began pub crawling.
In summary, the food we ordered was good, but short of excellent.
We had tomato and basil soup (hearty and soothing), blackwood beef ravioli (this was the best dish of the evening; tasty ravioli however did not get much flavor from the cheese) and the Reuben sandwich (again good, without being excellent). The corned beef was good but short of 'yummy'. I think using more of cheese and changing to a more expensive cheese will make the sandwich memorable.
For drinks, we had lemonade, green mango shake and four seasons shake. All the drinks were great; fresh and tasty.
This is one of the more successful restaurants in Greenfield by the looks of it. Have to give it another try.
Went here on a Saturday night with my teammates at work for our monthly team building. I love how it's tucked in a quiet place in the Greenfield District. Very chill place, good spot for drinking, and we loved the music (late 90s and early 2000s) when we were there! The platter and nachos we ordered were really good too. Perfect with draft beer!

Blackwood, a lightbulb name that popped into Chef JunJun's head. A random name appeared to be also the African and Australian name for acacia tree. Acacia is a symbol for new hope, new beginnings and perseverance, which is a perfect match for the three owners' personality.
The Food:
Bacon and Truffle Mushroom Cream Pizza (Php 350) - evel 1 of our Blackwood trip, we were served a not-so-ordinary looking pizza that has crisp and puffy edges delicate to aggressively grab with a hand. Almost as good as a croissant, only it's in a form of pizza. I was brought back to 'fusion' type of cuisine, which I don't regret having. To tell you frankly, the first taste of this Bacon and Truffle Mushroom Cream Pizza didn't fail to impress me that I secretly wanted to take a round 2.
Buffalo Crab Claws (Php 350) - Now this is different, Buffalo Crab Claws. I get it, you're a chicken winger like me. But let's get this straight, we have to switch our fondness for chicken wings and give Buffalo Crab Claws the time to shine. Just imagine, that familiar crab meat and buffalo sauce, nothing messed up by combining these two main ingredients. Blackwood have taken buffalo wings to a more sophisticated yet playful image.
Blackwood Corned Beef "Reuben" Sandwich - It isn't over. More reasons to sit down and hang out at Blackwood is this special Corned Beef "Reuben" Sandwich. Luscious meaty corned beef that adds sexiness to its body. My hands couldn't wait to take a hold of those loaves from the minute I took my eyes on it.

The lamb and their pizzas are insanely good, flavorful and so affordable. You got to try their flavored water that got mints, citrus ate so refreshing!
Went on a Wednesday evening with some friends. Food is good. Place is real nice. Price is justified. Planning to go back here probably with a date.
