Visited Megamall and finally got to dine in again at Kyochon. Place was clean and followed IATF safety protocols. They have acrylic barriers at the counters and dining area is spaced out with certain tables not available for sitting which prevents overcrowding. They have a limited menu, salads and certain sides are not available. Would have been nice to pair their salads with the chicken. Wait time was long but you are guaranteed freshly cooked and hot chicken. I enjoyed the flavors we ordered. The Rice Series, Red Series and Honey. The chicken strips was also good. It paired nicely with the kimchi rice and butter garlic rice. Servings was quite big for the rice as it was good enough for two. The chicken pieces was a bit small but flavors are prominent and the meat was well marinated. A couple of dips were available on the side. Everything was great from service to food. Recommended
ANNYEONGHASEYO! Listen up foodies. You don’t have to be a #KPop fan to realize how good #Korean Fried Chicken is! Because at Kyochon Philippines, you can always throw a chicken party! Choose from any (or all) of their 4 Korean-Style series: the garlicky Original Series, the sweet Honey Series, the spicy Red Series, or the boneless strips Soon-Sal Series. Let’s eat. AJA!

🍗 #ChryzhFoodies for Kyochon PH
🍗 This will definitely satisfy your Korean chicken craving and will not fail you at all. Their chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy yet flavorful on the inside. They have different variants and dips to choose from depending on the series that you'll pick.
🍗 Their chicken is cooked within 22 mins to ensure the flavor and taste, but based on my experience it's definitely worth the wait.
🍗 For my the food review:
-Honey 🍯 Series: My personal pick, the right touch of honey, not too sweet and juicy on the outside and has the right crunch on the outside👍
-Red 🌶️Series:Perfect for those who love spicy food, coz it's made from Korean red chilli pepper👍
-Rice 🍚Series: It's made from Rice Flour, with green salt, honey garlic and sweet chili sauce. Love dipping it in cheese dip.
-Original 🍗 Series: This is their signature recipe of Soy sauce and garlic.
- Soonsal 🍗Series: this is uniquely different, it's made from chicken breast strips with either Jambalaya sauce or honey mustard shipping sauce.
🍗 You can pick either drumstick, wings or it can be whole chicken.
🍗 For the price, it ranges from P149 to P699, depending on the chicken part and quantity.
🍗 I like their Potato wedges for the side coz it's crunchy and the flavor is enhanced, priced at P149.
🍗 I suggest to try their green salad for a healthier touch to your chicken cravings, priced at P160

So happy to try Kyochon. Totoo nga, iba ang chicken dito. It takes longer to cook their chicken (around 22 minutes) but its worth the wait!
They have 4 series: Original, Red, Honey or Rice.
Personal fave would be their original and honey series.
They also have Korean Rice meals and potato wedges.
Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trust me its a different kind of chicken!
Ambience Service place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish they have a bigger space so more people can try their food. Visit them at Megamall.

I think the last time I had KyoChon was yearsss ago when they had a branch in Greenhills?!? I didn’t know they reopened in Megamall. Today, my Kdrama heart was so kilig to try KyoChon again and was pleasantly surprised at how much I love their chicken wings. Felt like I was in a scene of a Korean RomCom series as I ate wing after wing. Their wings are perfectly crunchy / seasoned outside and juicy and plump inside. All the flavors were good, it’s so hard to pick a favorite. But if I had to, my top pick would definitely be the crunchy Honey Wings. It’s “sweet and sticky but never runny” as the menu says and i totally agree. The honey coating is perfect with the crunchy batter, not swimming in sauce, just right. Next is the Red Series Wings because I love spicy food, I think I’ll need some rice to go with these though as they are really hot. Followed by the Rice Flour Wings which comes with salt and a delicious honey garlic dip and the Original soy garlic is always a classic. I really do think I’ve found a new favorite chicken/wings place, I hope they can open more branches soon too. P.S. Their salad is so simple, doesn’t look as appetizing at first, but when you try it with their delicious sesame or spicy dressing, it becomes the best diet-friendly accompaniment to the chicken wings. But if you’re not afraid of carbs, their potato wedges are good too when freshly fried and eaten while hot. Judging by the number of chicken wings I ate at today’s foodie meet up, i’ve got one very happy and satisfied tummy LOL. I can’t wait to go back already and have more. Seriously.
Kyochon was a restaurant before, sadly, it turned into a fast food restaurant already. Nonetheless, I still find their chicken wings one of the best!
Chicken makes the world go round I must say. I like the Soonsal series. It tastes unique and very Korean. I hope this brand will open more branches in Metro Manila.
I love their mixed wings. I really cannot pick which flavour is better since they are all good.. If you're looking for a party platter, I guess KyoChon is one good option.
Their chicken is so underrated. Kyochon is the only QSR using double-fry technique in cooking chicken which makes the product tastier and crisp.Their chicken is so underrated. Kyochon is the only QSR using double-fry technique in cooking chicken which makes the product tastier and crisp.
I love the food. Place is great. I'll definitely recommend this to some of my friends.
One the best things that captured me here is the selection of food that they offer.
I went here last time with my family since we got curious on why the restaurant had so many people. When we got in, we're briefed of the best sellers and we have given it a try.
I must say I got astonished on the restaurant interior and the food. For its price, I'll give it a 5/5.
A few moons ago, my Tita and I would negotiate the nightmarish Manila traffic to get to Robinsons Manila (from Makati) just to have the double-fried Kyochon. She would always get the really, really spicy drumsticks (my tolerance for spicy food is abnormally nil) and I, the crunchy, sweet and sticky wings with honey.
And when I’m staying in Quezon City, my Mom and I, on the other hand, would pig-out on the original series with soy sauce and garlic at their UP Town Center branch or when in Greenhills, we would take our lunch (after a tiring a day of shopping) of rice flour-battered, crispy whole chicken which we dipped in green salt, honey garlic and cream cheese (eventually, the last two branches closed down).
Just recently I had a reunion with Kyochon with some foodie friends. Our group was lucky enough to be served the four series (original, red, rice, honey) with the spicy Kimchi Fried Rice, Chicken Fried Rice and Garlic Butter Rice and everything, I should say, was still the same: the presentation, the size of the chicken and of course, the taste. In short, I was in chicken heaven once more.
My favorite, all-time? Honeyed wings with Garlic Butter Rice. With the rice flour-battered whole chicken and coming in a close second. I honestly hope that the brand would open more branches soon.
Kyochon is South Korea’s number one chicken brand with more than 1,000 stores in different parts of the world. I finally got to try them a week ago, the originator of the double-fried Korean style chicken.
Expect your fried chicken here to be prepared on the spot, and none of the sodium saccharine, MSG, or glacial acetic acid. It’s marinated 24 hours, making each of your bite juicy and packed with flavors.
Kyochon Korean-style chicken is in four series. They have the garlicky Original Series, sweet Honey Series, the super spicy Red Series and the Soon-Sal Series, boneless chicken strips with rice crisps. All these can be ordered in wing or drumstick parts.
For sides, they have options for rice, namely Kimchi Fried Rice, Garlic Butter Rice, and my favorite, savory, Chicken Fried Rice.
It is cool to note that all the glazes, flavors, and spices are imported from Korea. So if you’re looking for a taste of Korea, Kyochon will deliver that experience.
When it comes to chicken , I was very picky on what I eat . There’s only one brand that I trusted most .
Kyochon Philippines started year April 29,2014. I remembered my first Kyochon experience was here at SM Megamall together with my family .
Now happy to be back again but this time with my foodie friends. Kyochon Philippines is happy to launched their new menu on Chicken Series.
Original Series - Crunchy chicken with soy sauce and garlic . Taste the Original Kyochon Flavor 🍗
Rice Series - crispy fried chicken made with rice flour, served with Green Salt , Honey Garlic and Sweet Chili Sauces. 🍗
Red Series - The Original spicy taste ! Taste hot chicken made from korean red chilli peppers . 🍗
Honey Series - Crunchy Chicken with real honey sauce , sweet and sticky but never runny .
Of all the series I enjoyed most the rice series , next is the original then then honey series . If your a fan of hot or spicy you’ll loved the red series .
They also offer Mix Wings . 3 signature flavors combined in one . ( Soy garlic , Red pepper and honey ) . Also the Soonsal Series. It’s a boneless chicken breast strips covered in special rice batter . Choice of jambalaya or honey mustard sauce .
Now you can enjoy more your favorite korean chicken @kyochonph with their delicious rice offerings . You may choose from Steamed rice 🍚, Kimchi Fried Rice , Garlic Butter Rice and Chicken Fried Rice . Price range for 40-99 pesos only !
Perfect pair for Kyochon’s New Series!
Visit them at SM Megamall or Robinsons Place Manila
The series is a must try for everyone . Perfect for sharing and serving was generous . Most of all love the cleanliness of Kyochon Branches plus the staffs and friendly and accommodating . What more can I ask for for Kyochon !
What ever series you want to try , Kyochon assures that they will give you the finest ingredients. As the brand promise , they pursue perfection in every fried chicken they made .
I've been wanting to try Kyochon for a long time now, and it's finally here! Very grateful that we had a chance to try 20pcs or the large serving of their wings platter per series and here's how it went:
The Original Series may look alike their Rice Series, but both really has different taste (given that the Rice series has green salt, honey garlic and cream cheese dip). Both tasted good but the one that I really fell in love with was their Honey series!!! Ughhh much more honey glazed than B. If you're into spicy wings, you'll surely love the Red series. For the types of rice, there are 3: Kimchi rice, Chicken Fried rice and Garlic Butter rice. Loved the Chicken Fried rice even more since it's much note flavorful than the garlic butter. Btw, their Honey Chicken Garlic is the boommbbbb!!! The aroma is just-- ughhh.
For the price point, I think it's fair bcus when you order 10pcs of wings here plus rice, you'll also get the same exp when you order 8pcs wing rack plus 2 rice (since the rice here is good for 2pax) but you'll save a hundred bucks.
I would love to come back here for their Honey series and chicken fried rice!
Kyochon, a famous fried chicken chain in South Korea, first opened a store in the Philippines in 2014. They’re best known for their double frying method, which allows the flavors to seep into meat of the chicken, not just the breading.
I’ve been a fan for the chain since they opened a store in Rob Ermita. Recently, I was able to try their re-vamped store in Megamall. With the decor changes came price increase and smaller serving sizes. Despite this, the chicken is still flavorful, although the Red series was significantly less spicy than before. Also, the green salad is now without chicken, and the serving size is now good for 1 person.
We went here for lunch after shopping for quite a while, and we ordered their combo meal which consists of rice, iced tea, a salad and chicken with two flavors. The chicken were really delicious, the only negative thing about it is it's too small, you'll be left wanting. The salad was also delicious, that sauce that they put in the mix really taste great, and the vegetables were fresh. The place was nice too, and was being consistent with the theme by playing kpop videos on their TV screens. The reason I gave it a four is because of their servers, they're not enthusiastic with what they're doing, and that says a lot about a store, and one of the reasons why I keep coming back to restaurants. I do hope that the staff will be more accomodating in the future, but overall it was fine because the food was great.
They have a good combo which costs 699 pesos. It is consist of one whole chicken (you can choose from honey, soy or spicy), 4 rice cups and 4 drinks. It’s a great deal! Kyochon does not ask for service charge. I hope they have other side dishes like kimchi or radish.
This should be included in the list of your favorite wings places in town. After 22 mins waiting, they’ll surely give you the perfect crisp and juiciness a chicken wing should have. I tried the original flavor(soy and garlic) which pleased me as the taste is not too strong to overwhelm the chicken. I hoped their kimchi fried rice comes with cheese. It would be perfect. The service is fast and warm. I’ll definitely comeback to try other flavors and have a whole dozen myself.
I've been here multiple times. Always good chicken & good cheap beer. The availability of some flavors and sometimes the beer is the only issue here.
Ambience
It was crowded when we arrived but we were first in the queue. We passed time by checking their menu and talking occasionally with their staff.
Food
We were planning on getting some Soonsal but it wasn't available. The soy garlic of the Original Series was good as always. Presentation was appetizing and skin was nice and crunchy. White meat was simple and plain. Between the drumstick and wing, the latter gave less meat but more flavor.
Potato Wedges were my favorite for our last visit! They were very hot, fresh, and soft.
Service
Since we were already in the queue, they sent our order in as soon as we were about to be seated.
Korean chicken at its best! Dining staff are also attentive and polite. We hust noticed that they changed their rice. Hoping they can serve the old kind of rice they used to when they first opened.

Their chicken wings are the best! Prior to kyochon I love Frankie’s chicken. Kyochon is the best I had so far. Their chicken doesn’t disappoint, well at least for the Spicy wings because that’s what I’ve tried but it’s the best so far. I will definitely go back here multiple times.
Great tasting food and drinks. Price is ok. Serving isjust ok. Service ok too, nothing to complain about. Ambiance just right. Would definitely come back.
And the winner for the Korean Fried Chicken battle is: KYOCHON! I am so used to the very long waiting time on a Korean fried chicken shop, so used that I was shookt when Kyochon has served my Red Series Drumstick in less than 10 minutes! And that is on a lunch time during a mid-year sale at Megamall! And the food tastes just great. I ordered kimchi fried rice along with my Red Series chicken and both are satisfyingly spicy. I love it here and will definitely comeback for more!
The chicken and the meals are very good. Clean place. Although I think the iced tea can be better. But that's easy to overlook and that's not really their focus.
The spicy chicken was hella amazing.
The combination of spice and sweet blended very well.
They make every piece bite size but impactful in flavour.
Annyeong!!! Koreans Koreans everywhere... So it's pretty much a crime not to serve good Korean dishes given the tremendous amount of Koreans in this country.
Glazed chicken has been a staple to Korean dishes and this particular restaurant do it impeccably. Sampled their honey series and love the fact that it's not too sweet and the sauce isn't overpowering. Soonsal salad I guess topped my salad list as it has the right texture and the balance of greens versus the meat, though the spicy sauce will leave you gulp for an ice cold glass of water.
This Korean establishment is definitely not to miss. Gansahamnida! :P
My friends and I purchased some vouchers at metrodeal so we got 40% discount. It was worth it! We loved the original flavored chicken and a lot more. Will surely come back again.
Their chicken is delicious plus the ambiance feels like as if you're eating in a korean street food stall. Plus they provide plastic gloves so you can eat chicken with bare hands. A bit pricey though, but tastes good! ☺

Went to Kyochon for a short time and absolutely loved their wings! We ordered the Regular size (10 pcs) at Php 299 and went for the Red version along with a couple of beers (Php 80). The wings were hot and sweet at the same time hence perfectly complemented the beer! Hands down, my favourite Korean chicken wings in Manila! Also ordered kimchi fried rice which was yum. It’s good for sharing if you are not too hungry. And the wings n rice make a perfect combo for hot food lovers!
I love its aura because of their endorser's handsome face (Lee Min Ho). We had our meeting here with my co-officers. We love the sounds and the food. 🌼
Ordered their Chili Chicken Steak and Galbi Chicken Steak.
Serving time: Our food arrived in less than 10mins. 👌
Quality: Salad components are fresh and crisp. Dressing on it were just right (but might soon ooze to the chicken because they share the same plate). Rice (the steamed and kimchi variants) were great. Chicken pieces (two on each plate) were of good portion size and were just grilled and glazed before serving. Love both their sauces--forgot their names but one is sweet and one is sweet and spicy--as they complement the grilled meats well. ❤ Didn't get the point of having sunny side up eggs on the meal set though.
(NOTE: Drinks aren't included for these steak meals. But their Php60 worth of soda drink is more than enough for me.)
Ambiance: Pretty cool and has great indoor lighting. It pumps your appetite as it highlights their food well. There weren't too many people when we came in (on a Monday, 4-5 pm) so it wasn't noisy or uncomfortable though they have a good number of seating capacity. 👍
Yep, this is the kind of place that I'd want my fam or friends to try, too. Their food is worth the price (and I mean this in a positive way)! 😄 Would like to try their staple fried chicken next time. 🍗
I ordered chicken here but I forgot where I posted the picture. I only have the salad 🥗 . Anyway, masarap naman. I like the interior of the restaurant.
One of the best Kyochon branches. My GF really loves the Galbi Chicken Steak with Kimchi Rice and you have an option to choose if it's spicy or not.
The place looks spacious and comfortable.
I loooove their;
✔️ Green Salad with Grilled Chicken, the veggies are fresh.. and their; ✔️ Original Chicken Wings are Juicy and Flavorful. I'll try their spicy wings next time.
Galbi Chicken Steak, Potato Wedges, Wings, Chicken Wraps and Kimchi Rice. Pigging out with my sister months back. I had 1000php worth of voucher. Yeah, 1000php is good for up to 4pax. My sis and I almost finished everything. 😬
Food:
Wings 4/5
Galbi Chicken Steak 3/5
Wedges 3/5
Kimchi Rice 3.5/5
Chicken Wrap3/5
Place: 4/5
Overall it was good. The wings are great though. Servers are attentive. Order the mixed wings combo.
Their chicken wings are juicy and tasty. Loved every bite of their soonsal and honey flavored chicken. Will definitely come back for more chicken wings. Even better though if they have more food choices in the menu.

Food here in Kyochon is delicious. At first I was hesitant to try it because I fond it expensive just for a quick lunch. But the price is all worth it.
We ordered the chili chicken steak rice and the galbi chicken steak rice and the potato wedge. I was able to taste both chicken ala carte and both has distinct flavor. Both are very tasy and tender. Chili chicken steak is not too spicy, it's still tolerable unlike bonchon's spicy chicken. Chicken Cut is also big. Potato wedge is nothing special.
Overlall I'm very satisfied and did not regret trying here at kyochon. See I even had my pic with the same posing like lee min ho 😅😅😅 that's how satisfied I am.... 😅😅😅 I highly recommend this korean resto to everyone who love korean dishes and chicken...
The 22minute wait is worth it. The chicken is delicious, and the kimchi fried rice is heavenly. Hopefully you could add more desserts/beverages too.

Wait 22 min for your food.
Product: we got their Combo 1 which consists of a Salad, 10 pcs of wings, 2 rice, and 2 drinks. We also got an extra Kimchi rice, and Hotteok. For the salad, they served it in less than 15 min probably as an appetizer. It had a sweet vinegar as it's dressing in just the right amount for those who do not like their salads over-seasoned. You can choose 2 flavors for your wings, so we chose the original series which is the soy garlic and the red series for the spicy touch. The original was a less sweeter version of its counterpart restaurant, which makes it the same yet still different in a way, I think. The red was spicy indeed, no question about that but what's different about it is that, it had a different flavor rather than a spicy version of the original flavor. Thank goodness the rice was enough to cancel its spiciness. Their chicken is indeed small but crunchy and has a lot of sauce and they do admit that. The Kimchi rice tasted exactly like kimchi, so in other words, it's just a rice version of Kimchi. I haven't had authentic Kimchi so, I might be defining it differently. I suggest you give it a try. The Hotteok made me curious, It wasn't good for dessert but it was affordable so we gave it a try. It had cinnamon and an apple flavor and some nuts. From that description, you can probably already assume what it tastes like. I don't think they used the normal flour+eggs+milk combo in here.
Venue: You see this place offering the coldest beer which catches your attention. The crew welcomed us warmly and made us sit immediately. They also have a television inside playing K-pop songs and commercials. This place will be loved by Korean fans and probably also Koreans. The food is indeed a little bit overpriced but I'm glad we finally gave it a try.
Their serving may be small but the taste of the food is delish. The chicken is tasty. I recommend their kimchi rice it's realy super deli.. 😀😉
Although the cooking process is long, it is still worth the wait.
I didn't get to picture the food because I'm too hungry to bother take a photo. 😀😉
#trythis
We were craving for fried chicken, and wanted to try out something new, so we went to Kyochon for some "Korean fried chicken". The place had a fun atmosphere, with the smiling and eager waiters, and the K-pop music videos being played on the screens.
We ordered the Soonsal series (boneless chicken breast with special rice batter kind of like rice crispies), medium sized (8 pieces). We weren't expecting the strips to be that big! Had we known, we should have ordered the small size (4 pieces). The Medium size is already good for 3 people. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. But it didn't have much flavor, but that's why they have dipping sauces.
Would like to try their other series next time.

I've always wanted to try this place, because it's like BonChon (and I super love BonChon) ❤️ tried it yesterday at Sm Megamall :) we were actually going to order 4 drumsticks (P290) but only wings and a whole chicken is available, so we ordered 10 wings (also P290), 1 kimchi rice (P99), 2 garlic something rice (P50 each) (sorry I forgot the name), a rice cake soup (P40 not in the picture) and 2 root beers (P60 each, not in the picture). The staff who took our orders is a bit complicated (?) , when we ordered 2 root beers, he though we ordered 2 mountain dews and when we said it's 2 root beers, he only brought 1, so we asked him for another one, and when our food came, he gave us all of our orders except for the kimchi rice (it's on the tray). At that moment, he said "orders complete?" We said "yes" because he was putting our orders on the table and we thought he was gonna put the kimchi rice but he didn't, so when he was about to walk away, we quickly called him and said the kimchi rice is one of our orders, he looked at the receipt and handed the kimchi rice. 😅 but all in all, I love the food!!!! Yuuummm soy garlic 😍🙌 but I like BonChon more because it's a bit cheaper, I love their burgers and fries ❤️ also, they have crunchy garlic 💕
My friend took advantage of the discounts at Metrodeal, he chose Kyonchon to treat us on his bday. At first, i thought its bon chon, guess im wrong... The reviews in zomato were true, it's like an upgraded bonchon, the price is almost the same and you wont feel like you're eating in a fastfood chain. The staff were nice as well, they greeted my friend with a bday song and a brownie, we brought our own cakes, they even provided plates and forks. My only qualm, the place is kinda warm, but eveything were nice. 😉
Better than Bonchon! Very tasty. Their chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Their red sauce is on point. Its a bummer that their red sauce has an extra charge though. Grilled chicken salad with raspberry vinegrette taste awesome too.
I know this place doesn't sound too unique. It sounds a lot like Bonchon and you'd think they are pretty much the same. But it is not. It is a better version of Bonchon.
First is the taste. I got the red pepper series which they warned me was too hot and it was! But not to the point that you can't eat it. Get this only if you like really really spicy food.
My friend got the original one and it tasted really good compared to Bonchon. You can really taste the butter and garlic, not just powdered flavoring.
The portions were okay based on the cost.
The service was good too! You don't have to endure a long line in the cashier as the waiters will serve you at the table. They are all very friendly and attentive too.
The only thing I didn't like was the sparkling tea. Maybe because I really don't like "sparkling" drinks but I didn't like their version of iced tea.
But definitely worth coming back for. 👍🏻
Went there for a late lunch. The place wasn't as busy as it was the last time my sister and i went there. This time i was with my fiancé. We ordered Combo 1. I knew he wouldn't eat the salad so i ate all of it. It wasn't as great as last time. There used to be bits of blueberries on the dressing. Not as special and appetizing as before. The chicken wings tastes as awesome as before only that they become smaller. I can say that 10 pieces is a serving for one. Well i admit that i am a big eater. But these wings are really so small they looked sad on the plate. It was still so food though that we ordered another serving and an extra rice. My fiancé's a picky eater but he liked these wings so much. Service is great. They kept on reminding us of the 22minute serving time but the food arrived faster than that. But then again, the place isn't as full as it used to. Maybe because the servings got smaller. I can remember the first time we went there. The chicken wings were a lot bigger and there were more meat to enjoy. And you can get more than 10 sometimes if you were lucky. We got 14. The other tables too noticed that. Must be some kind of introduction as it was new. Still enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back.

All in all, I'd like to commend this place for well done ambiance, good food and very responsive staffs. I really exert an effort on going to building B because it is there. I love everything they've done with this restaurant. Keep it up!
Backstory: my sister and i just came back from a beach vacay.
Food: Awesomely fresh and good. As expected from any korean themed restaurant, the food is new to our taste and as expected it did match my tastebuds. We ordered their soysoon chicken specials and it is definitely hitting the right buds. I ordered an avocado wrap and it never failed me. Actually inspired me to create my versions too. You must try it.
Price: Fair. Not cheap but not pricey. Recommendable for families who has enough budget to celebrated and the love for kpop.
Ambiance: Simply Modern. The lights are great to compliment the minimalist approach of the holistic design. You would enjoy as well an avp of kpop hits and talk about Gangnam while enjoying your food. Im a bit concerned on the spacing of the tables only and it feels a little too crowdy.
Customer service: Fairly good. I would say not the typical service we receive but above than the average. They recommend safely and consider your preference really. They have a smiling crews and would here the korean way of greetings and thanks. "Sahamida" i wish i placed it right. Lol.
Generally, recommended for foodies who loves korean style of food and tastes. Not pricey but totally worth it.
The place was okay - it had a big screen that plays KPop MVs. I just didn't like how there was a set up in the middle of the resto - it was kinda distracting (lol).
We had the green salad with orange dressing - the usual salad but the chicken made it stand out.I love Korean style fried chicken - and really loved Kyochon's chicken. We had the Original and the Honey Series. I didn't get to try the original cause I liked the Honey Series too much - it was sweet and was flavorful to the bone.
We also had the Kimchi Fried Rice - the spiciness was mild and goes well with the chicken.
I didn't like the Rice cake soup - maybe it tasted too plain, or I just wasn't accustomed to the taste.
Overall, my dining experience in Kyochon was good - great food, so-so service :)
A few years ago there was an influx of Korean restaurants around the metro, primarily due to the increasing number of Koreans who flock the country as well as the rising K-Pop craze across Asia (including the Philippines). There are the samgyeopsal joints, the bibimbap restaurants, and the crispy glazed fried chicken fastfood stores. After one such fried chicken fastfood opened its doors in Manila, another player came with a healthier and a more “mature” approach. Kyochon boasts that their fried chickens are twice-fried (for that extra crunch), that they use canola oil (said to be a healthier alternative to coconut or vegetable oil) in frying their chicken, and that their foods are absolutely MSG-free. Their glazed chicken comes in different flavors (or Series, as they call them): Original (soy garlic glaze), Red (hot pepper glaze), Honey (uses natural honey), and Soonsal (boneless chicken breast strips in rice batter, with your choice of Jambalaya or Honey Mustard dip).
I ordered the Soonsal series with honey mustard dip, and drumstick (Honey series). I must say, the outside of the chicken was REALLY crispy! The glaze was just right (not too sweet) and not runny (unlike the glaze used in other restaurants). I enjoy biting into the skin as it was soooo crunchy! The meat was tender. As for my Soonsal strips, the rice batter gave the crust a unique appearance---it seems as if bubbles have popped out (or are almost about to burst), which give the dish a different texture. The honey mustard was thick and not watery. My only beef was that the dip refills are not free! For someone who enjoys dipping my food in sauce multiple times, this is a nightmare! I opted to eat the remaining strips without any sauce (which was still good, actually).
The service was good, as servers were attentive to each customer’s needs. Although during peak hours, it seemed as if they are undermanned from the amount of orders and all the customers’ demands. The space they occupy in Megamall looks a little too crowded in my opinion (not that I am claustrophobic). All in all, it was a pleasant experience.
How can you ever go wrong with fried chicken? And what great news is that with Kyochon we get to experience a healthier option for fried chicken. It is not the usual fried chicken we grew up with from other well known fast food. This is Korea's no. 1 fried chicken chain. Their chicken is double-fried, making sure all fatty oils are removed. They have 4 flavours to choose from, but my personal favorite is the honey series, just the right amount of sweetness. You'd know that the chicken is well marinated. Love the texture of the chicken too. Apart from this they also serve some side dishes like Hotteok and Pickled Radish. But budget-wise they are a bit pricey compare to that of Bonchon's.
I went out with my mom to go shopping. And went to kyochon to try their combo meal 1 which is a servings of salad, 2 plain rice, 2 softdrinks and 10pcs of chicken, it can be a combination of honey chicken or spicy chicken or just one flavor. Of course I had to try both. 😜 tried the honey chicken it was my saviour haha! Why? Because their spicy chicken was too spicy. Well it wouldn't be called spicy chicken after all right? Haha! All in all great accomodations from their staffs. Relaxing ambience. Great job! 👍🏻
This is 1st time that I tried Kyochon even though I was there during it's launch in Greenhills with Lee Min Ho. At first, I thought that the food is similar to BonChon, so I got surprised when I saw the menu. The food is good and it's very tasty. Not very happy about the staff though, they weren't very attentive to their customers. Not sure if it's just in the Megamall branch or it's the same everywhere.
Their wings were really flavorful and now I'm addicted! Everytime my Mom and I get groceries, we always manage to get take outs for dinner! You guys should try it!
Update: The third time I went here was crowded and their cash register wasn't working so they had to calculate it manually.

My favorite is their honey series drumsticks thats both crisp and sweet yet zesty and paired greatly with their butter garlic rice which is also to die for. Can't get over this combination.
Kyochon feels like an upscale fastfood restaurant, perfect for those whose comfort food are chicken wings and staple rice. My boyfriend and I tried their Combo 1, which had 10 pieces of wings, a salad, 2 cups of rice and 2 drinks. If you're the type who has a great appetite, (much like myself, haha) you might find the chicken wings and rice lacking. Wings are served in small portions (I have to say they look different from the pictures on the menu) and because we were so hungry at the time, we ordered another cup of rice. We tried the garlic butter rice, and it was surprisingly good with the chicken wings. Their salad was really, really good too. Veggies still had a nice crisp and freshness to them and the sauce had a fruity taste which blended perfectly with the salad. It was a nice balance to the very spicy chicken wings that they served (When I say spicy, I mean, really spicy!) and also the original flavored ones. For dessert, we also ordered their hotteok, which were pancakes with cinnamon filling. It wasn't too sweet which also complemented the strong flavors of their chicken wings. Overall, the place and staff were okay too. Place was quite spacey, strongly influenced by Korean culture, and wait staff seemed to be nice. Nothing really outstanding in my opinion but food wasn't that bad as well.
On my way to kyochon, i thought it was just a high-end overrated fastfood and said 'another bonchon-ing in the metro.. Okay' but I was wrong!!! Chicken was an extraordinary korean style. - soy garlic Flavor. If you're not a fan of spicy foods though, never order that super duper spicy one cause it's literally spicy and hot. I tried it and I almost wanted to cry!! Haha!! What made it different from other korean fried chicken resto is their cozy modern ambience. I'd definitely go back here the next time I'd crave for fried chicken. ☺️☺️☺️
I thought this is going to be just another copycat. But I was wrong! The honey series and soonsal series are really good. Everything tastes good here. The only downside are the waitstaff. They were not attentive enough to customers who are calling for their attention.
Tried their Red Series and damn it's really super spicy yet irresistable. Even if your eyes and tongue feel like burning, you can't stop eating more because the chicken is so tasty and juicy. Good thing that the place is cold.

I really believe that Chicken is LOVE, and the Original Series of Kyochon is the bomb. Very tasty and delicious and it makes me get more rice. The ambiance is so cool and very cozy, the staff are accomodating and would love to try other stuff when I get back. 🍗🍖
Kyochon reminded me of bonchon but more high end in a way.
Chicken is very tasty! LOVE all sauces!
We tried the grilled chicken as well with kimchi rice.
Chicken Fillet Strips were different because of the breading but the dip was good!
Will go back again
Compare with Bonchon, I prefer this one. Cause their chicken more crunchy and flavorful. For peice, I think it is average for that kind restaurant with this ambiance. All at all, if you are Korean fried chicken lover, I recommend you to taste this one. And if you only ate Filipino fried chicken before. I think you can change another flovor. Just one thing i think they can improve, chicken is small.
Boy, I must admit I love Korean fried chicken! What makes them different from the ordinary fried chicken we Filipinos grew up with is that they are double-fried which makes it crunchy and flavorful. So as a lover of it, I tried Kyochon. Dining in would give you a feel of South Korean dining with a modern minimalist look. You can choose on their 4 tyes of chicken - original, red, honey, and soonsal (boneless chicken breast strips coated in a special rice batter. I ordered the honey flavor since I want my chicken not too spicy.
If you've been following my blog or reviews, you'll know that I'm not a very big fan of Korean food, which is why it was with quite a bit of apprehension that I followed my friends into Kyochon.
Korean savory food tends to be on the sweet side, which I seriously have issues with. Still, they assured me there was something here I'd enjoy. They went ahead and ordered some soonsal strips, spicy chicken legs and garlic butter rice.
I enjoyed each one of them. That's right. The soonsal strips, which are basically deep-fried strips of chicken breast, were very crunchy on the outside (thanks to the unique rice batter) and tender on the inside. The pieces were large (I couldn't finish a second strip) and great eaten alone, though dunking them in the barbecue sauce wasn't bad, either.
The spicy legs were spicy. Spicy. Anyone who's a glutton for tongue-burning punishment will get a hard-on for these devils.
The garlic butter rice was very good and a serving is very substantial. I couldn't finish my bowl, which might have been a good thing because the thing is pretty oily.
We also got an order of potato wedges which were rather nice and crispy, but pretty much just your run-of-the-mill potato wedges.
On top of the great food, the interior was nice (though rather small) and the servers are friendly. No problem admitting I'll be coming back here again.
👍👍👍 super accomodating lahat ng staff i enjoy it.. Ang saya! 👍👍👍sarap ng food, and entertaining din bcoz of paper view of korean stars..
