I love Balsa sa Niugan💕👌👍😍😁
Excellent food, location, & service!
Very friendly ang crew at good service....good food, nice ambiance gandang tambayan
This is our go to restaurant of our family. Their sisig is one of the best and you should try it. They already renovated the place especially the bridge going to the huge balsa. But, beware of the mosquitos when you eat at one of the balsa. dont worry, the staffs will hand you out katol to fight off mosquitoes. You can even rent one of the huge kubos or any part of the place for your event.
Its our first time to eat in balsa sa niugan. Wow I love thier foods as in all..japanese and filipino food thumbs up..and not pricey super worth it..
I went here for the second time and everything is still delish that I can eat the entire restaurant! Their sizzling gambas is a must try! Pork sinigang and spicy chicken, too. All the food are affordable. Total bill was less than 1K. Def worth the try and worth coming back for if you are looking for a great place to have lunch/ dinner.
The only downside is that it's almost always crowded (specially at night) and wait time takes longer than normal.
One of the best known restaurant for people living in malabon. They have a wide range of food, highly recommended is their sisig as one of the best and unique sisig in the metro. Also try their cakes if available especially almond Roca.
I've been here lot of times. In fact, Balsa was our go-to place whenever my two (2) HS friends and I meet up. Through the years, Balsa has been changing. They used to have the best Sisig in Malabon. Well, actually, best Sisig in Metro Manila but it changed. I am not sure why but it did. Other foods were okay. Their Maki was good, really good. Serving size was good too.
As per parking space, they have ample of you don't arrive on a bad timing.
Despite changes, it's still worth a try. Sisig is not not good. It's just that Iove the old one.
I really love the food especially their kare-kare. I have tried different restaurants just to look for the best kare-kare and so far, "balsa sa niugan" is on top of my list. My father also likes their sisig. The price is right for the serving of their food. Great ambiance as well. Im just scared of too much lizards in their balsa but anyway they will not touch you.
Whenever there's an occassion, birthday, graduation, mother's day, valentine's day or whatever occassion that can be celebrated, my family usually goes here. Maybe there's something in the place that's very special to us. Aside from the fact that the food is good, Balsa sa Niugan has some kind of relaxing vibes.
Obviously, from the restaurant name itself, Balsa sa Niugan is a floating restaurant situated beside the river in Niugan, Malabon. However, one con of Balsa sa Niugan is that customers are prone to mosquito bites. You can always ask for mosquito coil (katol) anyway.
They offer various cuisines but mostly Filipino and Chinese (I think). We usually order their sisig. It's a must-try! You can also try their pancit, battered chicken, kare kare, calamari. I suggest that you order garlic rice instead of plain rice. And you can also drink and chill here. Overall, Balsa sa Niugan is a must-try restaurant. You won't be disappointed. 😊

When my date told me we were going here, my first impression was we are going to a busy restaurant. What I saw was a relaxing floating restaurant that I never expected to see within the metro.
We ordered the beef kare-kare and sisig, plus garlic rice. The kare-kare was nice and the bagoong complemented it well. The sisig was AMAZING. I love the texture and it didn't feel slimy and fatty. One of the best versions I've had.
Overall my experience here was nice and I'd love to go back! I know it's MILES away from where I come from, but the food is good, so it's worth visiting!
