We had dinner last night at Burnt edges by shrimp bucket in 3central makati.
I used the metro deal voucher for this.
I thought the per pound shrimp is priced at 600php based on the menu. I didn’t know that it’s now 750php. Hopefully they update the pricing on the menu.
I tried shrimp bucket bgc before...loved the food but hated the place because it’s so small and cramped. This branch in 3 central is spacious and not too crowded. Staff are all nice and attentive! Good job!
Onto the food... so we ordered 2 bag of shrimp flavored Mardi Gras and the salted egg, paired with garlic rice and plate of their buffalo wings. I still loved the Mardi Gras more than the salted egg. The garlic rice goes well with this. Buffalo wings it’s really good however, the portion is small for the price.
I was looking for the pork bellychan but it’s no longer in the menu. I forgot to ask why.
Place is clean no flies! Very good!
I’m just annoyed that they closed at 8pm on Sunday even though it says here in Zomato they open from 10am - 9pm. We were scrambling to make it before they close.
Overall it’s still a pleasant experience. I will probably go back some other time.
Was hesitant to eat at Burnt Edges because it apparently came from the makers of Shrimp Bucket. As a non-fan of seafood, I was not thrilled. Thankfully, though, as I was looking through their menu, there was more to them than just shrimp.
For starters, we had their Chili Cheese Fries and so far, it was one of the best I've had. The combination of the sour cream and their pork chorizo with their thickly cut wedges was perfection.
For our mains, we had their Mussels in Mardi Gras and Beef Ribs. The Mussels in Mardi Gras was coated with the same pork chorizo from their Chili Cheese Fries and honestly, it went better with the latter than the former. Their Beef Ribs came with a barrage of flavorful sauces but as for the ribs itself? Ho-hum.
Finished our meal with an ice-cold Brew Kettle and it has never been a more fitting end to a birthday dinner.
Burnt Edges... You would think that the owners might want to give the restaurant a better name. When I heard about Burnt Edges, I thought that maybe they are serving pizzas and the sides of the crust are burnt. But then again, reading fully, I realized that this new restaurant is by Shrimp Bucket. I love Shrimp Bucket so I was so excited to try Burnt Edges.
Very delicious seafood. We ordered shrimps with salted egg flavor and mussels with mardi gras flavor. Fantastic with plain rice. Service was little quick but the chairs aren't comfy enough. Happy with overall dining experience.
Finally there’s seafood restaurant near the office. It’s just a bit expensive for a pound of Shrimp (P600). Love their signature sauces. Tried Buffalo wings (P225), it’s spicy and tasty!!
Service was fast! Would def dine here again whenever I got extra money 😂

Burnt Edges by Shrimp Bucket offers dangerously delicious rice dishes that are sure to satisfy those who are craving something indulgent and rich. . Ynah and I wanted to treat a friend out for lunch because it was her last day at work. Burnt Edges by Shrimp Bucket was not in our initial plan. In fact, I made a reservation at Locavore which was just beside Burnt Edges. However, Locavore was full and had a long queue in waiting. It did not look like we would have a seat soon so we decided to look for an alternative.
Nice ambience, wait staff are attentive.
We had beef ribs, grilled shrimps in Frenchy lemon sauce, wagyu skewers, fresh cut fries.
Beef ribs are a little too salty for my taste but I liked the addition of pickled bamboo shoots on the side. Shrimps are also good, although lacks the lemony tanginess. Wagyu skewers are good as well.
Price is reasonable.
Overall, we enjoyed dining in and we’ll be back! ☺️
Shrimp Bucket plus more! You can get your by the pound shrimp or mussels and some other grilled items and appetizers you don’t see in a regular Shrimp Bucket resto. Got my all-time fav Salty Eggsperience and tried the Stuffed Eggplant Bites. The eggplant was good, with shrimp pate inside, but it was overpriced for the serving size - 3 2” slices of eggplants - basically just an eggplant cut into 3 pieces. Service time was a bit slow. They should improve on this. Took them around 10minutes just to give me my bill.
