Flavor: Cha Yen (normal ice & sugar)
Price: Php 125
My thoughs: I haven't been to Thailand so I couldn't say that it's really the authentic taste of a Thai Milk Tea. But anyway, base on my opinion, I found this drink silky but not creamy as they claim. I love how strong the flavor of it in the first few minutes. I didn't add any sinkers because I just want to focus on the Thai Milk Tea flavor ❤️ Even though I'm into Taiwanese Milk Tea, this Thai drink didn't disappoint me. I love how smooth and refreshing it is. And for me this drink is best consumed within 30 minutes only because once the ice are melted, the drink became bland and watery. I suggest that when buying this, it's better to go with the large size because the regular one (16oz) is Php 110, and you're just going to add Php 15 to upsize it in large (22 oz) and you'll get to enjoy more milk tea. And another thing is, their cup is reusable, you can bring it eveytime you'll purchase a drink to them and you'll have a discount. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

AMBIENCE
They are at the front left side of Pobstacion Food Park and facing Above Sea Level. Many seats are available since they have six-seater benches from ground to second floor, though I still haven't seen what's on the third yet.
BEVERAGE
Hojicha was bitter, perfectly iced and super good!
SERVICE
Server did a super good job! Before my transaction, I found out he took care of a man's cellphone and helmet until he returned to claim them. While buying, he informed me their cups are reusable and can help me save Php10 per next order. Plus, he was very informative about them being the first branch to serve food, noodles to be more specific. Then he also promoted the new Royal Thai Tiger and Black Tiger beverages without rushing through the details. That's just awesome!
I have been a regular of Cha Tuk Chak in Holy Spirit, Quezon City happily consuming gallons of Cha Yen anytime of the day. Honestly, this is the only branch I know of until this food crawl in Poblacion where I tried other flavors outside of their orange-colored bestseller, Thai Milk Tea.
Another pleasant surprise was the Cha Tuk Chak's trio of Thai food: the popular Pad Thai, the Drunken Noodles and the Thai Curry Noodle which all retail for P180 a pop. Of course, it was the Pad Thai I ate most of partnered with the sweet but not too sweet Cha Yen.
Suggestion: please open more branches, Cha Tuk Chak!
Offering a variety of drinks, I am not really a fan of their Milk Teas but surprisingly, they serve Iced Teas that are refreshing and not too sweet.
I had the Thai Ruby Lemon Iced Tea and I was able to finish it because it was new to my taste buds and at the same time, the citrusy taste profile was dominant in my drink.
Poblacion grew from being a sketchy neighborhood to one of the busiest foodie districts in town. As home to innovative dining concepts and some of the hippiest bars, Poblacion came in a bit late with food parks. We've noticed the boom of these al fresco dining spots and it seems that it is now reaching its sunset phase. But one food park tries to prove us otherwise--Pobstacion. And our first stop in this industrial food spot... Cha Tuk Chak.
There should be more Cha Tuk Chak establishments! I loved every drink that came out of their store yesterday.
The foodie meet up at Pobstacion was highlighted by Cha Tuk Chak’s participation. They served our team well, accommodating our solo tea orders with ease.
Besides the banner drink of Cha Yen, a silky Thai Milk Tea, I suggest you take a chance on two refreshing cups of Thai Emerald (green tea + real lemon) and Thai Ruby (royal tea + real lemon). Both had a cool combination of bold tea and citrus tastes.
I also recommend adding Cha Tu Chak’s add-ons of yogurt bombs, strawberry bombs, and brown sugar jelly. Since these three are sweetened, make your drink of choice only at 30%.
Other notable pieces include Hojicha, a roasted matcha milk tea; dark chocolate milk tea in Koko Yen; and Nom Yen, a strawberry milk tea blend.
For food, they have exciting boxed noodles worth your time. They have nutty Pad Thai, spicy Drunken Noodles and Thai Curry Noodles. All use authentic Thai ingredients for just Php 180 each.
It's one of the Cha Tuk Chak places I've tried (and probably the first one I've seen offering Pad Thai). I haven't tried their Pad Thai but I tried ordering the Cha Yen with pearls. It was on the bittersweet side and the tea can be tasted right away. I recommend mixing/shaking it first so the milk on top can be distributed evenly. Pearls were chewy.
Service was satisfactory. A staff even went outside and gave me my order. They even have a space (fee chairs and small tables) near the entrance. Price range is on the average side (for milk/thai tea). I still recommend Cha Tuk Chak.
