Affordable sourdough bread I used to pair with pasta, as well as jam and cream cheese.

Purple oven has really high quality desserts. Aside from their cakes, my all time favorite here is their cookies and their brownies. And of course, this cake. I love the chocolate bits which is evident in every bite of this cake! Perfectly paired with black coffee!
If I were to rate all the sans rival I've tasted in the metro simply basing it off from taste, Purple Oven's White Chocolate Sans Rival would score way up the ranks. Some find it too sweet, I find it so good, and I don't care! 😁 We had one as one of our New Year's Eve cakes, the last New Year celebration, and not to exaggerate on things, but of the many dishes we prepped, and bought for the feast, this was the one that was consumed all the way through within the following 24 hours, and I alone ate up almost 3/4 of it.
The best choco fudge brownie, double chocolate brownie and cookies! Definitely for the sweettooth. Perfect for coffee, tea or simply anything!
For any chocolate lover, it's mandatory to try their grandma's chocolate cake. While it may look ordinary on the outside, we love how there are bits of chocolate pieces imbedded on the layers of ganache and moist chocolate cake. Its one of the best chocolate cakes around.
Hey it is good to see another pastry shop aside from our typical cake brands. One good thing is that they have that uniqueness in their cakes and pastries - a taste of their own. Kinda hard to explain lol. And I think the Chocolate Campfire is their best seller. Well, the design is lit and it does taste really good. You should give it a try!
Last minute cake run! Late last night, I suggested to buy cake at Purple Oven in Legaspi Village infront of the Legaspi Active Park, for a surprise birthday. Tried the Chocnut Pie since my fail safe Pistachio Cake was all out. I enjoyed that the pie, which was all cream inside was not too sweet. The crust was crumbly and chocolatey. Very good choice. Recommended.
Bought the Oreo Cheesecake. It tastes good and everyone in the room loved it. But the take out packaging is a bit hassle. You need to purchase their eco bag. If not you will carry the box itself (without any string/ribbon to hold it in your hand). The box design has no handle as well. So it is somewhat required to buy the ecobag. It's just P20 but additional cost is still a cost.
Please try their Chocolate Campfire, my mom loved it! I’m actually eating a slice of it right now while writing this and imagine me smiling while I’m recommending this beautiful cake. Here’s a picture, thanks to my bestfriend who took time to buy this cake for me and for my mom. Try their crinkles as well!!
I bought the Chocolate campfire... As I've seen in the review that it was one of the best seller though I'm not really a fan of a chocolate cakes.. I would say it tastes good..
Everything was great at Purple Oven Bakeshop. When my friend gave me a Pistachio Cake during my birthday celebration, the cake was served to the guests and after 10 minutes it’s all gone. The bakeshop never failed me. I always trust Purple Oven Bakeshop when it comes to cakes and pastries.
#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
caaant get enough of their lemon bars its too addictive! fresh, sweet tangy lemon taste that you'll crave after every bite, chewy with a touch of crunch on its edges.
Chocolate Campfire cake is the BOMB! has real creamy chocolate and chocoly chunks inside.
One of the best bakeries in Manila! Very affordable and delicious. The chocolate crinkles are great to share and grandmas chocolate cake is a fantastic classic chocolate cake which is not overly sweet! A great place to get a birthday cake or any other sweet treats.
Solid pastries with consistent quality and taste. Started with their brownies and revel bars and has grown since into a cafe. 9 branches and counting! Dropped by for a birthday cake takeout.
I love their cakes. I live in Cavite and we had to visit their place just for me to get their cakes. Its good that they have an ATC branch now. I can say that nothing can go wrong with a purple oven cake. ❤️ Definitely a must try.
Just had a slice of their pistachio cake because of a birthday celebration at the office. And OMG I now see why my boyfriend loves this cake. The meringue base is a pistachio-y crust. The chiffon is moist and not crumbly, while the outer layer made of pistachios is so very tasty. I love pistachios and I love this cake! I just wish there was a filling inside. Other than that, TG is cake is good and I hope to be able to afford a slice/small cake for myself one day.
You'll never go wrong with whatever goodies they have, at least with the ones that I've tried so far.
This place resembles the branch in Alabang where you can see all the goodies displayed well that you don't have to be craning your neck just to look at what you are choosing from :)
Friendly staff too!
You really can't go wrong with an institution like Purple Oven. Their cakes are simply to die for. I love the flavors and the fact that it's not overwhelmingly sweet, so you never get that "umay" feeling afterwards. Even my friends who aren't a fan of sweets like this place. Their lemon squares are a must-get! This branch also has more upscale interiors compared to its other branches. The only reason I can't give this a full 5.0 rating is because I still wish they'd sell by the slice, or add seats to make it into a cafe. Oh well :(
Can't complain about this place. The staff was helpful when I needed to decide which of their desserts to pick up from the office. Everyone really enjoyed the mango bars. Also ordered a quiche, which they heated up on the spot and was quite tasty.

I bought the Chocolate Campfire as a surprise cake for my boyfriend's birthday. He liked it and his relatives who also ate a piece from the cake, liked it. I'll definitely buy there again. The cake wasn't also that expensive and there were so many cakes to choose from.
The Tuna Buns here remind me of the tuna rolls that were used to be sold (in-flight food) by a certain airline. I always order that whenever I'm there. Last year, I ordered a tuna roll but I think they've changed their supplier because it tasted different. I tried to look for it and I can say that the one from Purple Oven is the nearest one to it (if it's not the same one) - it looks and tastes the same. I'm so happy I found it.
The branch here is small- it's just for take home purchases. They don't have tables for dine-in customers. Just a comment though - hope they'll be extra mindful of the place especially on the open bread displays because I saw a fly on one of the glass cases.
Decadent and yummylicious. Their cakes and pies are made off site at their main bakery but are still very fresh.
As you walk through the doors the smell of baking goodies fills your nose.
Everything else is made here and they have a schedule as to when certain things are to be baked. Like their cinnamon rolls. If you want a snack they have pastries with ham and cheese , tuna etc. They have really great brownies of different styles and lemon bars as well. It's brand new here and awesome
