Nice cozy restaurant, home comfort food style. I ordered Longa Bowl, their plate was presented well. They way I like my food in portions in their own places. Longga with scrambled egg was good plus their vinegar mix was tasty. :)
Mia and I stumbled here tonight by accident. It was both new to us, so we considered trying them out. Mamita’s Table serves familiar Filipino cuisine.
The Laing at Php 100 was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The taro leaves were fresh and fine, and it had great harmony with coconut milk, lemongrass, garlic, shrimp paste, and chili. It was so good I consumed more rice than I should.
We also got Mamita’s Almondigas. This peppery soup brought me home as it reminded me of my mom’s cooking when I was young. Although delicious, the Almondigas was expensive at Php 155 as it only had four small meatballs.

At the side of the supermarket, it is easy to miss Mamita’s Table. Luckily we saw it on our way to buy drinks and decided to try it out. I like their bicol express. The coconut is well cooked and the pork is tender, medium level of spiciness for me. My only comment for improvement i feel they can add more meat to their servings
Good and affordable food inside Rockwell!!!:) garlicky longganisa, adobo and laing is recommended!!! Food serving is a little small though!!
We tried this "hidden restaurant" at the hallway beside Rustan's Supermarket towards the grocery carpark exit. We were pleasantly surprised at the prices for their home-style meals in Powerplant Mall.
We had the Arroz ala Cubana (P155) and the Garlicky Adobo (P180). The serving was good enough but not when you're super hungry. The flavors are what you would expect when you come home, even the servers are as friendly and "maasikaso" as your Lola's househelp.
I enjoyed the Arroz because I miss this dish. It was the favorite of my kids growing up and I would cook this for them at least twice a month. It's easy to prepare but is layered with flavor and texture. The adobo had chicken chunks and pork bits. It was a bit salty for me because I usually add sugar and gata to mine, but it's been awhile since my boys went on their own, so limited kitchen-time for me now. We would just eat out most of the time.
Welcome find, though, because it is budget-friendly and reminds you of home.
