I love their bagnet so as their empanada...
Thanks also to Booky they have this promo, buy 1 take 1 for empanada with red iced tea already.
Love the igado plus empanada is on point, it's just the vegetables I don't like it's a bit soggy and too oily but the rest of the food including the turon is super affordable and tasty
Been here a few months ago since I was craving for an Ilocano Empanada. Was able to order two Double Double and they were hot and delicious. Hope I could visit this place again.
Ordered their King's Meal priced at P185 for lunch. It had a cup of rice, two longganisas, bagnet cuts, itlog na maalat, and ensalada.
The meal was really satisfying and my craving was met with high merits. The longganisas had lean meat and the garlic flavor fused perfectly. The bagnet cuts were so tender that it would easily melt in your mouth. It was so soft and very delicious. The other star was the ensalada with bagoong Balayan and itlog na maalat combi. The saltiness blended well with the sweetness of the meat viands. Don't ever forget to dip your longganisa and bagnet with their sukang Ilocos.
The place was clean and condiments were always replenished. Had a great lunch experience and would be back for sure.
Comfort food! The serving is just right for one hungry person and it tastes good, definitely value for your money. It is near Makati Medical Hospital (ER area) across the old Tropical Hut and Mercury Drug along Buendia. Aside from their famous bagnet (very crunchy and cooked just right), they also offer veggies topped w/ bagnet too;-) It’s self service and you can choose to dine inside or outside the restaurant. My only concern is that when you eat inside, the food smoke/smell coming out from the kitchen will stick to your clothes and hair, guess they need improvement with their ventilation/exhaust. But overall, it’s the food that counts!
Super love all of the food we have tried in their menu, especially my Mom, who appreciates everything (she is Ilocano). Really taste like lutong-bahay. Their serving is good for sharing and is affordable. We always order extra rice.
We have tried:
Bagnet - Crunchy and chewy pair it up with their vinegar
Igado - Delicious pork with peas and bell pepper.
Sinanglaw - Papaitan. Soup with Internal Organs like isaw and atay. Not malansa. Very tasty and delicious.
Crispy Dinuguan - Perfect. Consists of isaw and bagnet
Looking forward in trying other dishes in their menu since we are going to Makati Med everyday.
I love the food here, plus it's affordable. The bagnet and special empanada are my favorite. Service is also good and orders arrive quickly.

If you love eating empanada (the one in Vigan), you should try this resto- they're serving kinda similar to that. I have also tried their king's meal and it's worth the price. You'll have salted egg, longganisa and bagnet + red iced tea. They dont have enough parking though. Only 2-3 cars may park in front.
Ordered for take out 3 ordinary and 1 special empanadas. We found that these empanadas tasted much better than the ones that we had in ilocos because they use papayas and beans in their mixture. We also like that the longanisa is lean and low in fat. The empanadas are very oily but that's expected since they're dipped in a frying machine.
Empanada Nation, a taste of Ilocos.
We ordered:
(1) Bagnet Meal (P135)
- Comes with Crispy Bagnet, KBL sauce (kamatis, bagoong, and lasuna, red egg, and rice.
(2) Crispy Dinuguan (P112)
-
(3) Crispy Bagis (P112)
-
(4) Empanada Ordinary (P40)
- Vegan Choice
(Will be updating the review in a while.)

It was Saturday late lunch time when we decided to get my OGTT (Oral Glucose Tolerance Test) result at New World Diagnostics Makati. We plan to eat at Hawker House after, only to find out that they were close during that time. We walked a bit to look for a new place and found Empanada Nation which was on Grand Opening.
Reminds me of authentic empamiki meryenda in Ilocos 😍 Their miki noodle soup is already good for two for a reasonable price. The soup was great, closer to the authentic miki of ilocos. The richness of the soup was perfect for all kinds of weather. But I think they didnt got the right thickness of the soup.
When i went to ilocos i really fell in love with their bagnet empanada, which is really hard to find in manila. Til i found this store. Their empanada brings back all the memories of ilocos.
Sarap ng bagnet!!! Super crunchy without being oily, and the meat was so tender I didn't have any trouble cutting them up into bite-size pieces using my spoon.
The Vigan Longganisa was very flavorful (for a moment I felt like I was back in Ilocos). Their rice meals are served with salted egg and KBL (kamatis, bagoong Ilocano and lasona [onion, in Ilocano, according to the staff]), which complimented the flavors on the viands.
We were very disappointed with the Crispy Dinuguan, though. I expected it to taste something like the one in La Preciosa (Laoag), with tiny pieces of crunchy, deep-fried meat and innards soaked in yummy dinuguan sauce. But no -- we were so sad to find strips of fried (not at all crispy) pork topped with almost-dry and clumpy blood. I might order it again one day, to see if that first time was just a fluke.
We also ordered Special Empanada to go, and they had us wait for a few minutes because they were still gonna make it (yay for freshness). The empanadas are a bit pricey IMO, but the servings were way larger than expected. My paper bag was soaked in oil before we got home I didn't enjoy it because it was so oily. I guess they're best consumed right away after being served.
Service was fast and the staff were nice and very patient with my many questions about the food. Didn't rate higher because of the crispy dinuguan, but I would definitely come back to try their other dishes.
PS Location is a bit discouraging during night time because the street lights in the area are busted and it is the only acceptably-lit establishment in the vicinity. I would suggest to visit it during the day.
My friend who's from the northern part of luzon invited me to try this resto and im glad she did because i liked the food.
The bagnet was crispy and tender and their fried rice is perfect for it. Aside from that, the meals are affordable. The service is quick, and pleasant wait staff.
