I always go to Mama Lou’s for their Aglio Olio pasta, but today I tried their classic Carbonara. It was nothing out of the ordinary and there were a few pork belly bits, despite the dish we ordered was for sharing. Other than that, their margarita pizza, free focaccia bread and service is great!

Still the same great Mama Lou's quality right in the Legazpi neighborhood. Usually a great pricey fare but Mama Lou's + Zomato makes the dining experience super worth it!

1. We always love the risotto here, especially the truffle one! 2. Pizzas are great and kid-friendly 3. Iced tea pitcher is good - a little sweet, so add water to taste. Always liked Mama Lou’s, and it’s a go to place because of the ambience and the fact that it’s a surefire hit with the kids!
Serves lunch fast! So good for those tight 1 hour lunch breaks haha

Went here after a long day in school with some friends and we were all looking forward to having a good meal to unwind. It was our first time in Mama Lou’s and it certainly won’t be the last. The risotto is a must-try! 👌🏼

Had such a great time at Mama Lou’s! 5/5 on service and Food. Everything we ordered was delicious (especially the Quatro Formaggi Pizza served with arugula, alfafa and hot honey on the side). The place also has a warm and homey feel which is a perfect way to cap off the week. Would definitely come back 👏

We love their spaghetti seafood olio! The pasta is al dente and with a generous serving of mussels, squid and shrimp. A sprinkle of their chili flakes may be added to add a little kick.
Their thin-crust quattro formaggi pizza is crispy and tasty. The blue cheese gave a very distinct taste and was a great partner with the pasta. ❤️❤️❤️

Well what can I say? Mama Lou’s will always remain a staple and a crowd favorite. Never the one to let you down, Mama Lou’s is sure to satisfy that craving for cheese, pasta, or that rich filling feeling. 😜

Went here with my mother for late lunch. I was relieved that the place wasn't too crowded when we arrived and we were seated right away. The place was well lit and we love the wooden furniture.
What we ordered:
-Truffle mac n' cheese: I love the truffle mac n' cheese! I've read very good reviews about it and it didn't disappoint. It's very rich and cheesy, just the way mac n' cheese should be.
-Carbonara: Just ok
-Garlic and cheese pizza: We also liked the pizza. It's interesting that their pizza is served with arugula and alfalfa, like Yellowcab's Dear Darla, but what I like about Mama Lou's better is that theirs comes with hot honey (honey with chili flakes) too. The hot honey, surprisingly, goes well with the pizza.
-Green apple soda and house blend iced tea for drinks
Is it pricey? Yes, it's a bit pricey (paid Php1000+ for two). But it's definitely worth a try. I would probably come back for the truffle mac n' cheese and to try other pizza flavors.
Mama Lou's at the new Ayala North Exchange is pretty good for an Italian meal - except there's no wine cos they haven't got their liquor license yet.
Garlic & Cheese Pizza on thin crust dough and Spaghetti al' Amatriciana ate both excellent. The latter with Pecorino Romano cheese and tomato sauce infused with guanciale is yummy!

The quality of the food is definitely the same with the original BF branch. The truffle mac and cheese is to die for. I definitely recommend that and their pizzas. Service is good, there is room for improvement but overall a good dining experience if you're from Makati and curious about the taste of Mama Lou's. Will definitely come back again.
PERFECT truffle mac n cheese!!! Cant get over this. I'll definitely be back here. Highly recommended! Even the seafood pasta Im not into such but I must say it's delicious. All meat pizza is also good. I AM DEFINITELY GONNA BE BACK HERE!
The free bread appetizer with olive oil and balsamic vinegar is just okay.
The Spinach and Goat Cheese pizza is crazy good though. I think I can finish the whole thing. Lucio's Truffle Pasta was good and a hefty portion.
Tastes just as good as the one in BF Homes. We found a fly in a tahong of our seafood pasta — assistant manager asked us if we wanted it replaced but we passed since we were already done eating. It was stricken off the bill instead.
