Last Sunday (August 28) we've held a very intimate Dedication and First birthday celebration of our little man Zach. Their food is really scrumptious and our guest loved most of the dish (with a little exemption to Carbonara) . We have no issues with the servings as we were able to take home a lot of leftovers from the party.
Their Paella is yummy and it is indeed a must try for us. Ate Linda and her staff are really nice, they even assisted me in setting up my DIY dessert table. The ambiance is nice and cozy for a late afternoon event. This place is good for small occasions. Highly recommended.

Lettuce Says,
I had a strong craving for a good homemade tapa just tonight and instantly remembered the soft beef strands of Angus Beef Tapa of Galli Village Cafe. John and I ate at a nearby restaurant with Beef Tapa but the craving just intensified! I can still vividly recall the first time it was served to us, it looked like a simple dish as it is, but once you tasted the beef, you'll request as John did, and for what? For extra rice! No need for vinegar or calamansi with soy sauce, yes, it was that good! It was like a tapa version of Yoshinoya's Beef Gyudon. Pair this with a runny sunny side up egg with a cup of coffee and sparkling lemonade and I can definitely enjoy it any time of the day.

Very accommodating staff! Especially Nanay Linda. Food is great! Try pork with raisins! And very affordable! Perfect for street smart moms ;)
i love their famous Paella, especially the seemingly-meatball-sized chorizos in the Paella. muy delicioso!
Their affordable paella has a 45-minute wait time. You get what you pay for. It's simple but enough to satisfy a craving. Staff's friendly.
Carbonara:
- I'd avoid. My ideal dish preference would be thick, creamy, and tasty. Their version had none of these traits.
Clubhouse Sandwich:
- delicious and good for solo/sharing.
Fish Fillet with Lemon Butter Sauce:
- excellent! Though the fish MIGHT be typically delicious dory, the sauce is really something!
Shrimp Gambas:
- actually isn't spicy
Spaghetti Bolognese:
- Don't expect the sweet, Pinoy type. This one is slightly bland.

Galli Village Cafe is a place for home-cooked meals and a cozy warm ambiance. Located just in front of the Shrine of Sacred Heart Church in Makati, Galli has been the usual dining place of the church-goers. The location and ambiance, being away from the usual city image of Makati, provide a peaceful atmosphere for those who would want to conduct small meetings, or just a time alone.
I texted several numbers to know how to get to their QC branch only to find out that the numbers posted were all incorrect. It was such a hassle. To rectify the situation, the one who answered me on FB provided the correct information and even invited me to their main branch (Makati) for a complimentary paella for two and shrimp gambas which I found so generous of them. However, there was a set of false expectation on their end because when I told the staff that I would like to bring home the paella the server called Miss Linda. Miss Linda said that the Callos (was offered instead because they don't have shrimps for the gambas) was the only complimentary dish. So I got confused. I then looked again on the message. It stated "complimentary paella for two and shrimp gambas to make it up to you." I just let the way they wanted.
Anyway, the place looked homey. You won't feel that you are in a restau. Its just that we were unsure if the airconditioner was turned on because the place was warm.
Food was well presented especially the Paella Valenciana. My boyfriend didn't like Paella at all because of his awful Paella experience way back but he loved Galli's Paella. Dessert was made of plain jelly and milk which I found too ordinary because there was no hint of sweetness in it. Their Callos somewhat tasted like kare-kare according to Bae.

I hope it's ok if I share with you a wonderful experience I had at a cafe very close to the Central Business District of Makati. It's just across the street from a church that a lot of people come to on Fridays just like Wednesdays would be for those who go to church in Baclaran; these churches have regular patrons. The church is the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the cafe is Galli Village Cafe. Along with the Sacred Heart novena, my family also has this thing about serving fish and mongo bean soup on Fridays. On that particular Friday, I was looking for something sinful; I could confess later you know. So I headed for the cafe half expecting I'd find Daing na Bangus to save me from my sinful excursion, but lo and behold, there on the menu was an apparition of the words LECHON. Well, the word kawali or Wok was trailing behind which meant it was more decadent than roasting, as this meant pork would be soaked in fat. I always think of pork as the other white meat that is sweet, succulent and delectable. I have a suggestion though, to make it more savoury than it already is; we usually have it with liver sauce (lechon sarsa) but try it with shrimp paste (bagoong) and go all out and bust your diet. Anyway, if you're not going to heaven for it, might as well make it your most enjoyable dereliction. I pray that those times I went to the other side of the street will be absolved and that others find some pearl of great price at the Galli Village Cafe.

Great cafe! Friendly staff. My favorite is Angus Beef Tapa and Paella. I love the place, good books to read too! I ate usually lunch with my family there. My brother loves their fish fillet with lemon butter sauce, while my sister loves Beef Salpicao. Its definitely for family get together!
This is a great place for a quaint, quiet gatherings for family and friends. I just spent my birthday there with my three kids today and it was great! The staff are friendly, accommodating and courteous. The food is really great. I highly recommend the Paella, Shrimp Gambas and Beef Salpicao. The Paella is one of the best I have ever tasted! However, as each paella dish is freshly prepared, you need to wait for a while before you can eat. It's a good thing that it is just across the Sacred Heart Church, so you can hear mass or visit the church while you're waiting. But I assure you that it is worth the wait! I will definitely come back!

It is a spanish themed restaurant that specializes in their paella dishes.
Galli Village Cafe Paella Valenciana
First up we had their best seller which was the Paella. They have three versions which were the Valenciana (what we had), Verduras (vegies) and Marinara (seafood). The Paella valenciana was topped with ingredients such as egg, pork, chicken and many more. I enjoyed the toppings. As for the rice, it has a different texture than usual as it was more chewy / wet; but towards the bottom part, it was a bit burnt but still edible.
Be sure to order the Paella in advance as it takes them around 40 minutes to prepare. For example, before you go to hear mass at the Sacred Heart Chapel, order one in advance and have it ready by the mass ends.
Galli Village Cafe Shrimp Gambas
I found their shrimp gambas just ok. It wasn’t as oily as the other gambas dishes I’ve tried thanks to the tomatoes.
Galli Village Cafe Tuna Salpicao
I enjoyed their salpicao! I can’t really describe it a lot but all I can say that I was scraping for scraps and even poured the oil into my rice. That’s how I really enjoyed it.
Galli Village Cafe Pork with Raisin Sauce
Another one of their best sellers. The sauce was sweet thanks to the raisins and the pork was very tender. A bonus was that it doesn’t have fatty layers which I would have just scrapped off if I saw it.
Galli Village Cafe Angus Beef Tapa
What would make this dish much better? More servings! :)
Galli Village Cafe Beef Salpicao
The beef version of the salpicao. Although it was what you would expect on a salpicao dish, I enjoyed the Tuna variant more.
Galli Village Cafe Lengua con Setas
This has to be my favorite among all the dishes that we tried. Ox Tongue has been one of my favorite dishes and I’m really glad that they cooked it perfectly! It was very tender that you can easily shred it just with your tongue! It was very yummy too! If you know someone who’s afraid of trying Ox Tongue, let them try this dish and see if their perception changes.
Galli Village Cafe Leche Flan
As for dessert, we had leche flan. Just the right amount of sweetness and tender; and I’m glad that it didn’t have that “chiffon” like texture for its price.
Dinner was served and enjoyed thanks to the dishes from Galli Village Cafe. It is worth a comeback especially to have that yummy Lengua again!
