Super love this Korean place!! Never heard of it before actually until a friend invited me to try it! I thought she was exaggerating at first but no! This place really served some nice meat and fresh veggies! The banchan were all good! Also, the ventilation was perfect! We left the restaurant without any hint of eating Samgyup at all. Lol! Will surely go back once the ECQ is lifted!!
This place is the most worth-it for your money - the meat is a lot, the steamed egg is the largest I’ve ever had; service is fast and pleasant. The salt and pepper for the sesame oil dip was freshly cracked. Lovely place. Well ventilated and a lot of comfortable seating area
Kozi Kozi is a clean Korean BBQ place. Exhaust is good, so you don't end up smelling meaty! Service is good and they serve the unli meat refills without any fuss or delay.
Banchan is good and somewhat unique - especially the eggplant and beans. Soy soup is excellent as is the steamed egg. We had the unli beef at Php 699 per person. No time limit. 2 types of beef shortrib are served, with the marinated one being really tasty.
Great place for korean barbeque! The food quality is great, I highly recommend their samgyupsal and korean pancakes! The place is clean and quite spacious too. They are also great for parties and barkada gatherings too, as they have lots of private areas for parties and private meetings for large number of people. Highly recommended!
5/5 for customer service. Staff are very polite and courteous.
5/5 very cozy place.
4/5 for food. We visited the place because of good reviews. We ordered unli pork (we are limiting our beef intake), pork arent flavored, or marinated. Instead of coal, they are using butane fire. Para ka lang nagpiprito instead of BbQ.
They mentioned that marinated meat are served for unli beef. So you may try unli beef instead.
Cozy and not smelly! Meat is good and side dishes look clean and taste good! The owner is so apologetic and kind. One downside, the griller gets black too quickly. Been here 4 times already.
First time to eat in this restaurant and I'm totally impressed with the service, staff and foods.
I love the Steamed Egg and other Korean dishes served to us was definitely a must try! The staffs were very attentive and friendly. I would like to comeback again. :)
Went here last Sunday. It says they were open at 11am. We tried calling past 11am to reserve but there was no answer or reply. So we went there directly to see the “closed” sign. We went in anyway since that was around 1140am already. We asked what time they open. They told us 11am, but some of the staff weren’t there yet, so maybe 12. We insisted an explanation, and they let us in anyway. Service was a bit slow, maybe because they were undermanned that time. They seemed a bit lost.
Food, though, was great!!! Best korean bbq ive ever tasted, including their marinated beef. Will definitly return.
Been here once with my boyfriend he's not into korean food but I was just in the mood for some samgyeupsal , he was converted . The place was
clean , posh and modern.
Usually at kbbq's when we leave we smell pretty rank due to the exhaust not being able to handle it, when we left we were just fine.
The owner was hands on.
The food !!!
Pork was epic , tasted fresh , servings are generous , the steamed egg tasted so silky.
The beef quality was way above my expectations.
Will come back for sure!!!
Yukgaejang is heaven--can't wait to try their other dishes. The first time I went here, our group had unli pork and beef, and it was so good. Thumbs up too to their salad with secret(?) dressing. Manager and staff were also friendly amd polite. I definitely recommend this place.
so happy that Zomato approved the page I created for this resto. Since I started going here, I have loved every visit. From their side dishes, the gimbap to the beef, to the service. Its A+! my only concern is that the pork in the samgyup is rather fatty. Too fatty to be honest. Even their unli serves too much of the fatty pork rather than the other kind which is more palatable. :) But overall I love my experience and I will keep coming back. :)
Tried Kozi Kozi for the first time last night and we were suitably impressed. The food is super fresh; lettuce so crisp it crunches, the Kim Chi traditionally spicy just like in Korea and the beef wonderfully marbled.
The service was fast, wonderfully friendly and attentive.
We have two little boys and were seated in a room which allowed us to relax yet because of the fantastic glass walls we still felt a part of the whole restaurant.
At one point the owner came over and gave two bowls of dessert to our boys and made them promise they’d eat all of their dinner first. It was a personal touch which showed genuine attentiveness and meant a lot.
And this place is clean. As in hospital grade clean. Cleanliness is next to godliness in my opinion and it was refreshing to eat somewhere which was completely spotless. It showed an eye for detail and care for customers which was very welcome.
Kozi Kozi provides a fantastic gastronomic adventure and a wonderful dining experience. Do yourself a favour and try it, it’s my new favourite Korean restaurant and the only reason I haven’t scored 5 stars is because I reserve that for silver service fine dining.
Hands down one of the best Korean restos I’ve been to in Makati! Their side dishes are 10/10 (love their sweetened marble potatoes and kimchi so much!), they cook the meat for you and they even have a scented candle to cancel out the bbq smell that tends to stick to your clothes and hair. When I suggested that they add their menu to their Zomato page, they did it right away. Their service is definitely better than other (not to mention more expensive) kbbq places. Hope you guys keep it up! Would love to come back again!
The place and food is amazing, staff are really friendly too! We hesitated at first because we thought the place were expensive but its not its actually have a bery competitive price against popular KBBQ house
