With Max's Dessert Department got to experience and taste This Chocolate + Mocha with this very intricate sweet design. This is well moist and not too sweet that's why I like this, we both this as a surprise for our friend.
Got the Chicken Sisig Rice Bowl with Sago’t Gulaman for Buy One Get One through the Booky App. The serving was filling enough. Lots of chopped onions, green chilis and shredded cabbage with a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg.
But of course, a Max’s meal will never be complete without their Fried Chicken. Served with sweet potato fries, still the juicy-inside, crispy-outside comfort food of all time. Perfect with a combination of ketchup-hot sauce-worcestershire sauce dipping sauce.
Also got their combo promo of Brewed coffee and Cake of the Day (Chocolate Ganache Cake). Strong kapeng barako and not-too-sweet chocolate cake ends a sumptuous dinner perfectly.
I just want to review about
️Max's Restaurant UNLI CHICKEN FOR JUST 399 PESOS‼️
🍗 Because we finally unlocked the Chicken All You Can. #MaxsGetTogether
🍗 We enjoyed our dine in experience.
🍗 Perfect meal specially their chicken.
The branch is spacious and has its own VIP room as well for meetings and private events. Servers were well-groomed and accommodating.
We got to try Max's House Classic Deluxe Bundle for 4 which includes Pork Sinigang, 1 Whole Fried Chicken, Tofu Sisig, Buko Pandan, and it comes with iced tea as well. You know how good is Max's Chicken because you don't have to use any sauce/dip to pair it with (though eating it with that makes it better). The Pork Sinigang is just perfect for the rainy season!! A sip on that hot sour soup is just refreshing! The Tofu Sisig has that spicy kick that you'll love to munch more even if it's spicy.
We also tried the Malagos Brownies and Caramel Bars. I personally like the Caramel Bars more but both have a firm texture and have a subtle sweetness which is a good thing.
Price range is on the average side. The said bundle might not be enough for a group of 4 with a heavy eater.

I just love discounts, freebies and bargains. Now, that I am a bonafide card carrying senior, I do my best to attain all the benefits of being one. Especially, in my city of Makati, I have a grid of all the free senior parking spaces and try to avail of all the free movies (the worthwhile ones) whenever I can. Rarely would an investment yield you a return of over 20% when you can get less 20% and less 12% vat on your food orders as a senior.
This could only be topped by zomato gold's 1+1 or booky's buy 1, get 1 free.
So, when I saw booky's offer of buy 1, get 1 of Max's Chicken Sisig with free Gulaman and Sago for P169, I checked it out at Greenbelt 1.
Max's Chicken Sisig is not as flavorful as KFC's since it does not come with the crispy skin and liver bits. It does not also have the traditional sour taste of sisig that KFC was able to replicate. It, however, is more hefty and filling and after a few spoonfuls of sisig, rice and a bit of fried egg, I am loving it. The flavor is like spiked chicken mayo. It had a sprinkling of sliced red (labuyo) and green chilies. It does not overwhelm as much as traditional sisig does after a while because of all the fat and grease. If you want additional flavor, there are side condiments of tabasco and Worcestershire sauces.
The accompanying gulaman and sago is much too sweet like drinking liquid candy or molasses.
Oldie but a goodie. Been going to this Filipino restaurant since I was a kid whenever my parents are hankering for some Filipino food. The food is superb, the price is also just right. What more can you ask for? Our fave is their chicken sisig.
In the late 90's, Max's Greenbelt had their own building complex at the park, near the church but with the construction of Greenbelt 4 and 5, the Max's Building had to go down. They had to relocate as part of the mall. They offer sets for functions and small parties. Always a must is their fried chicken! The fresh lumpia is also good, with extra helpings of garlic peanut sauce. Service was quick, friendly and had good knowledge about their menu. Manager on duty was also hands on in operations. Good job. Recommended.
Was able to dine here 2x during our 2-week Manila vacation. Food never fails — still very good. As usual chicken was “sarap to the bones”. Crispy pata was awesome. Sinigang na tiyan ng bangus was love - has the right sourness and fish portions was just right. My new favorite is the fish in black bean sauce (forgot the name but has black bean sauce). I just wish the serving pieces was more. Sizzling tofu never fails.
Service was good. Ambience is good as well.
I just wish that they open early for breakfast like 7 or 8am.

Busy day at work but I'm craving for filipino dish so I decided to order pinakbet and boneless bangus for lunch. Whenever I'm craving for fililino food, max's restaurant is on the top of the list. Super liked that the vegetables are still firm and has bite into it. Boneless bangus is good for 2 persons already.
Food was nice and customer service was good. I found the chicken a little too dry though, but the flavours were good. Overall, I had a good experience at this place 😊
Ventilation is not good. So hot inside the restaurant.
I tried their Fish Fillet Rice Bowl and it was fine. Servings was just okay (4 pcs of fish fillet).
I like the chopsuey and sizzling tofu!
In my childhood days, I grew up eating Max Fried Chicken and it was a known to be the go-to meal whenever we had balikbayan's coming home for a few weeks. At some point though, as an adult, I began to notice how the quality and flavor of the chicken seemed to deteriorate. It no longer seemed to taste like how it did back then. I'd only ever eaten their Spring Chicken and rice all my life until now.
It was about last month that I ended up in the Greenbelt branch for lunch with two colleagues. I don't remember the last time I'd eaten in any branch before that. I left it to them to order after we'd all agreed to skip actually having the chicken. Here's what we got:
Lumpiang Shanghai (P175)
It arrived hot and was the classic, crunchy dish that one would expect to get. Definitely good for 2-3 persons as advertised. The ground pork filling was tasty as well.
Sizzling Tofu (P199)
I already like tofu, but the creamy special sauce they have mixed with spicy chili in this particular version made me fall in love with it! So tasty and good serving size for 3 people. I'd recommend it and definitely come back just for it.
Adobo Rice (P199)
Big serving, good for 3-4 people or so. It was alright, not as tasty as expected (and as commented by my colleague who'd had it before). Went well with the other two dishes though.
Over-all, their pricing and serving sizes do offer quite good value for money, probably the reason why they seem to be doing well. I was definitely glad to have tried their Sizzling Tofu dish and am willing to try eating at Max again to possibly try their other non-poultry dishes in the future.

Yung one teaspoon din ng icecream natikman ko good to cap the meal.
This review is solely for their Corner Bakery:
It was my brother-in-law's birthday and we're looking for an affordable cake. We were supposed to go at another bakeshop but it was a good 10minutes walk from Greenbelt. But then I remembered that Max's has its own bakeshop. So we went there to check the cakes. Some of the cakes were even discounted. I forgot the name of the cake that we bought. It's a chocolate cake with chocolate shavings on top - we just got the one that looks the most delicious. It's also discounted - we got it at less than 500pesos for the whole cake. I also got some rolls - Mocha Roll and Chocolate roll- that we can eat on the way to the party.
I tried the rolls and they were pretty okay. They actually taste better than from other bakeshops. We weren't really expecting much from the cake since we got it at a discounted price and it wasn't really their specialty (except for the caramel bars) but it was a surprise. Their cake is so moist and fudgy. We all liked it so much. Highly recommended. I'll try the other cakes next time.
Been a long time since we ate here with the whole family , It was father's day? and their promotion was unlimited chicken Php 200/head (sorry for the late review just remembered some of them ) i ate
We were not that hungry when we stopped by here, but being on vacation we try to hit as many local restaurants as we can. We had the salmon head sinigang and the seafood lomi. The sinigang was nice and sour with some vegetables (it could use more). They placed some slivers of salmon meat as we...
Now this is a branch we haven't been to for many years now. So again awesome to come back and see how food and service has been maintained. Em (wife) and I ended up having the same order within the Max Combo Meals. We both wanted the Platter Meal which consist of 1/4 Regular Fried Chicken, Pancit Canton, Rice, Drink and Caramel Bar each. The chicken was very fresh and tender with the crispy skin on the outside, so really enjoyed this with the canton and of course the awesome sauce!
Now the awesome sauce for your chicken. You will normally get a separate smaller plate to create your Max's sauce masterpiece and it simply is a mixture of Max's Banana Ketchup and Max's Worcestershire sauces all mixed together. The taste will depend on your personal taste so just have fun mixing it together. :)
As it was a weekend the store was very busy and you can certainly see the tables where full of families as the main market. Even the store was that busy the waiting staff was very fast and attentive to our requests so thank you for an awesome experience Max's! see you soon!!
After a long day of walking, strolling and shopping. Finally, we end up here at max's. Actually, we all know max's, their food, servings, styles, etc. Very classic. Definitely, one of the best classic restaurant ever. :) sharing you all my photos of our food. Unfortunately, didn't captured the adobo flakes because were very tired and hungry. :)
It was my niece's birthday, when we ate here. She's 3 years old. She was happy when they sang to her. The food in Max's is just of right price, with right serving.
I like it. :)
This resto is an ideal venue for group lunches, meetings, and family celebrations, especially if you are a fan of Filipino dishes.
We went there to suprise my boss for her birthday. We ordered one of their group meals, the Max's Per Table C. It only costs P2025 for 5 persons. Since we were 7 in the group, we just ordered extra servings of rice. Included in the set are the following: Max's fried chicken, Sinigang na hipon, Boneless Bangus, Kare-Kare, Lechon Kawali, Plain rice, Roasted nuts, and Buko pandan. Serving size was enough for us and there even leftovers of the Kare-Kare when we were done.
My only comment is that the Roasted nuts were served last when it should have served as an appetizer.
The ever reliable and walang kamatayang fried chicken.
Same old favourite and has been very consistent over so many years.
Highly recommended for foreigners for them to appreciate how we like our chicken
