Met a colleague here as it is near her place. It’s my first time here and I’m impressed.

Food: Their mozzarella and cheddar cheese stuffed wontons were amazing! So happy na try ko na sya.

They also recommended their chicken and waffles, it costs 595 pesos and you have the option to choose either Nono’s homestyle or honey sriracha

Price was okay. Some items were a bit overpriced ✌🏻

The place, the service and the mood/ambience was perfect. Very chill/relaxing

Try them out and don’t forget to try their mozzarella and cheddar cheese stuffed wontons 👍🏻👍🏻

With all the stress of daily family responsibilities and our day job, it is no wonder that there are a lot of restaurants opening that caters to comfort food.  Foods that relieve the stress of our everyday lives.  Nono's is one of those restaurants that delivers classic comfort food. Created by Chef Baba Ibazeta Benedicto, Nono's concept is simple: "Comfort food is simple.  It is heartwarming.  It is nourishing.  It is home."  I love how Chef Baba turned her passion of creating food into something comforting for others.

Good ambiance and good food here. I tried Nono's Homestyle Fried Chicken and I liked it. It tasted a bit like KFC but less greasier and more meat than breading. Of course, can't leave here without getting a slice of Chocolate Oblivion for dessert. 🤤

Best fried chicken I've had paired with a flaky waffle with superb texture. The mix of sauces are the best. Follow the waiter's instruction on what sauce to put. We also ordered the truffle wonton, very good appetizer. And roast beef, yummy with the gravy and horse radish. The tomato and basil pasta was just so-so.

8/28/2019 We had an unplanned breakfast last at nono’s salcedo branch. Place is really nice. Breakfast is bit pricey. Love the avocado bread and grilled cheese. I’d love to try their cakes next time.

3stars

Update 12/19/2019 soooo had another unplanned breakfast haha I was supposed to go home but since I’m hungry had an urge to have breakfast at Nonos before leaving. Today since I have an appetite to have a heavy breakfast becoz was not able to snack during my shift since I have a lot thing to do. So I ordered the Tinapa rice..sadly the salted egg is not available so they replaced it with boiled. My friend had Sisig breakfast and chicken waffle.
The sisig rice looks and smells promising... I will definitively try that next time. My Tinapa rice - I wonder if it will taste better had the salted egg been available..but I still like just the same. I have to make a mental to request not to put leeks next time. The aftertaste of leeks really gets me every single time no matter what the dish is. I just hate it with all my heart hahha .
Overall had an excellent breakfast!!

I’ll up my rating to 4stars

I can't believe it took me THIS long to try the mains at Nono's. I've always been a fan of Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion but never expected that the mains would be superb. I cannot move on from the Chorizo & Shrimp Marinara + Grilled Porkchops combination that I ordered on my first visit. The lemon torte suggested by the server was surprisingly good, the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Service was impeccable and the homey feel of the resto made it hard to leave :)

Reserved a table before coming on a Sunday evening but apparently we didn’t need to because there were a lot of empty tables when we arrived. I love their Fried Truffle Cheese Wontons and order it everytime I visit. Another thing I love is the Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion. It was one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve had. For the main dishes, I would recommend their Roasted Beef Belly and Homestyle Fried Chicken. The Tinapa Rice also tasted good. Not a fan of their Spinach Dip with Crostini and Grilled Porkchop, which surprisingly turned out to be a bit hard and dry. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Looking forward to trying more of their main dishes next time.

Yeeey!!! I finally said yesyes to Nono's! Hahaha corny ba?

My boss was in a festive mood and wanted to treat the team to lunch. I immediately suggested Nono's coz it's just around the vicinity and I've always wanted to try their food. I went for the Porkchop while the rest of the team had Roastbeef, Chicken Sliders (bestseller), and Truffle Pasta (NIP).

OKAY. First, I love the ambience. Second, the servers were attentive and gave lovely recommendations. Third, that Porkchop was freakin huge and more importantly, super good! I had a few bites of the roastbeef too. Impeccable and almost melts in your mouth. The chicken was amaaazing!

The menu is expansive and though prices are a bit high (P300+ on average) I loved the overall dining experience. Will definitely go back!

Had a good lunch here with my colleagues. Food is great and the servings are big 😊 Also loved their cakes and pastries selection. The cookies are good and we also ordered cakes for to go.
The servers have a tendency to forget what you asked for (like an extra fork or a water refill) but they’re still polite and will accommodate you as much as they can.

First time trying out the food here! Only tried the Blueberry Lemonade and Apple Pie. Both were very good!

The apple pie is my new favorite since it's not too sweet. The crumble on the top is a great touch.

Service is good to. They were very attentive and welcoming. Would definitely think about going back here to try the rest of the food.

After an enjoyable dinner at 102 Izakaya, we crossed the street to take our dessert at Nono's. I have been having dreams about their Chocolate Oblivion and it's about time to make it real, again.

This is one of the better chocolate cakes in Metro Manila. It is creamy, chocolatey with various textures from velvety to chewy to powdery (choco powder) and crunchy with the praline. On the whole, my obsession for this treat made me oblivious of the world as I savored each forkful, rolling my eyes with delight.

I wish I could say the same of their Strawberry Shortcake, but unfortunately it is not on the same level of excellence as the chocolate cake. The chiffon was dry and the strawberry was mostly jam. The flavor was good, don't get me wrong, though bordering on too sweet with the excessive icing. But, in terms of outcome, it seems the chocolate cake was done by a master baker while the strawberry was crafted by a housewife.

I guess you can't have everything.

I love the ambience of the place! It looks classy and relaxing. For breakfast, we ordered the Tinapa Rice and Raoul’s Breakfast. Tinapa Rice is consist of garlic fried rice, milk fish, green mangoes and tomatoes. Super yummy and flavorful! For the Raoul’s Breakfast, it comes with sunny side up eggs, bacon strips and toasted bread. I think the bread was dipped in the scrambled egg then fried a bit; added with some cinnamon powder. The staff was also courteous and nice! Good price for the food.

Food
We ordered the following:
1. Grilled Porkchop - must try, very thick and juicy slab of pork served with mashed potatoes and salad (greens)
2. Pork Belly Balsamic Adobo - the pork is so tender and savory already with adobo rice
3. Crispy Pork Belly - not fan of this one especially for the price of Php425..its just a simple fried pork belly that you can buy anywhere at a much cheaper price
3. Mocha Sans Rival (dessert) - just a right of sweetness, loved it

Ambience
Nice place to dine in, enough space for each tables

Service
Thumbs-up, very accommodating and friendly staffs

our saturday was one FULL-filing food trip, so what better way to end the day is by enjoying a good cup of coffee and Nono’s was the place to be. its posh ambiance was just calming + the sight of desserts, maaan, we gave in and ordered the mouth-watering ones, haha.

i got me the vienna coffee- americano w/a mountain of whipped cream on top. luscious and dreamy i’d say, it mellowed the americano well, but 3 sachets of raw sugar helped to make it subtly silky. a friend of ours boasted how wonderfully delightful the lemon torte was and he was not wrong to hype us about it. the tangy lemon filling was just right amidst the cake/merengue - it was pure bliss. their cheesecake was heavenly and i love how moist the cakey bottom was, as if drenched in a coffee bath and that wasnt enough, we were given a complimentary sticky pudding! moist and soft caramelly pudding cake had a hefty portion and creamy texture.

we also enjoyed tasting their samples: almond crunch (as if i was eating chunks of almond rocha) and oatmeal raisin cookies (im not a fan of raisins but Nono’s made me feel like eating choc chips cookies instead, amazing!).

Had their lemon torte, which is hands down the best cake in Nono's. It's not too sweet, the flavor is great and the crust is amazing. The calamansi bar though, not nearly as good. The base was a bit too plain tasting, and the top didn't really compensate much so it ends up not tasting like much.

The place was very clean and cozy. It was around 8:00 that night and you can see how the lighting adds classy ambiance on the restaurant. The place is big and spaces between tables are quite wide enough compared to the normal ones.

Service is okay. They gave us a free taste of their Almond Crunch and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. The Almond Crunch has a stronger taste and yes, it is crunchy. The Oatmeal Raisin Cookies were crunchy but this is softer and has a light/mild taste.

We ordered coffee, a slice of Lemon Torte Cake, and a slice of White Chocolate Cheesecake. The Lemon Torte was thick and the lemon taste isn't that strong and tangy. It is just right and different flavors are playing on your tongue. As for the White Chocolate Cheesecake, I can barely taste the White Chocolate though I can see the shavings of it on top of the cake. The cheesecake is the bomb, and it was so rich. A complimentary cake (Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch) was given to us. Each slice was big, and thick. It was nutty.

Price range is reasonable. I'll be back to try their pastas and chicken.

Nono's in Three Central Mall is the ultimate chill pill place in a sleepy Saturday afternoon, while everyone's elsewhere. For this visit, to be honest, i've tried the empanada before and it is expensive for the size and taste, there's better to be had (e.g. El Mare in San Pablo, Laguna), the flat white is not of top caliber but strong. What makes Nono's special is the ambience and exceptional service, Jayson and the rest of the crew were alert, friendly but non intrusive of your privacy. Staff will let you enjoy your coffee in peace. Must try their best selling dishes soon other than their Chocolate Oblivion (love). For the service alone it is worth the visit even if you're just having a slice of cake and coffee. Recommended.

Been hearing a lot about Nono’s and was finally able to try it. I like the interiors, looks bright and clean.

Enjoyed the cheesy truffle wontons. Wish they used better cheese, but for the price ok na din. The beef belly was good, but it needed seasoning and I could taste how they boiled it before grilling it. The the sticky toffee if more like a banana bread. Got the chicken kiddie meal too.

Service was excellent. Wish I had space to try the other desserts. They use CBTL tea, loved the ginger mint.

One of the best new restaurants in Makati. Everything was excellent - food, service, ambience. We ordered the porkchop for sharing and carbonara which can also be for sharing due to the serving size of their pasta. The store is well decorated and waiters were attentive. Can’t really find any fault.

Hmmmmkay. So Nono’s has been making noises since they expanded and built more branches. Many blogger friends have attended events in some of their branches and almost everyone is saying Nono’s food is indeed good. Did you know that Nono’s started it all off with a classic cake? One of her famous work is Nono’s Chocolate Oblivion, named after her father. Right now, Chef Baba Ibazeta Benedicto is focusing not only on desserts, but comfort food in general.

Christmas is just around the corner and we all know what that means—back-to-back reunions and get-togethers with family and friends. While traditionally celebrated at home, it’s becoming more and more common to celebrate these at a restaurant—I, myself, contribute to this growing trend (no need to wash the dishes after the party? Count me in!)

Chef Baba Ibazeta Benedicto was first recognized with her delightful cakes and sweet desserts through her first venture, Classic Confections. It was the go-to supplier for coffee shops and restaurants with her infamous Nono's (her father's name) Chocolate Oblivion, placed her on the map. It then catapulted her to start in another venture named Nono's by Classic Confections, a restaurant that serves timeless comfort food brought to the next level using the best ingredients and recipes. It's first branch is in UP Town Center then they opened two more branches in The Podium and Three Central, Makati.

I am easily fall in love when I hear the word BREAKFAST. I love breakfast meetings, breakfast dates, or working over breakfast meals.

But whenever I am in Nono's, I feel well rested and comforted that great food is on its way to my table.

My staple order at Nono's is their Homestyle Fried Chicken but this time, I tried one of their breakfast offerings - Raoul's Breakfast Plate

Ambiance - 5.0/5.0
Their interiors are so on point! It is not just instagrammable or worth of a Pinterest board but already a peg of our dream house in a way. Nono's does not only possess wonderful interiors, it also has a very clean surroundings and everything is in order.

Service - 5.0/5.0
What I love about Nono's is their standard of service. The warm greetings from the staff upto the sweet goodbyes that will make you go back. Also, their food knowledge is something very commendable.

Food - 5.0/5.0
My Raoul's Breakfast Plate is soooo delicious! The bread is so tender while the Bacon is so crispy and perfectly done. My orange juice is not just fresh but really good also. The Nono's Chocolate Oblivion cake will make you forget your name'

Chef Baba Benedicto started with wonderfully curated cakes and other dessert pieces through Classic Confections. Now, she has Nono’s, a restaurant that boasts comfort food done right. The Nono’s name came from her late father.

A couple of weeks back, I was invited to indulge in their rich selection of dishes. They have Filipino, American, European and other Asian influences all in one roof. Nono’s is all about providing you and me food we’ve grown to love from all over the world.

The ambiance is special, because it fits to the overall spirit of the menu. It will remind you of home, beautiful pastel colors, jalousie windows, well lit and comfortable seats.

Mia and I were advised to tag another person along. We knew why eventually as pre-ordered items kept coming to our small table. We had 2 appetizers, 4 mains, 2 sweet plates and 2 beverages! Despite us enjoying what were served to us tremendously, we both went home with take out bags.

On starters we had first a uniquely curated Fried Truffle Cheese Wontons. It came with drizzled natural honey too, giving this dish an umami taste. Expect as well a lot of crunchy and gooey texture combinations in every bite.

Another worth having is their deliciously fresh and savory Oriental Shrimp Salad. Mia and I loved this. It reminded us of Chinese cuisine’s Hot Prawn Salad only it is on a bed of red and green cabbage, romaine lettuce and fried noodles.

Our favorite came next, sinfully good, traditional Mac n’ Cheese. It has three kinds of salty cheeses- gruyere, cheddar and parmesan. Go ahead and spread some to its side toasted, thick sourdough bread.

Nono’s best-selling product arrived shortly, Homestyle Fried Chicken. I personally found it having too much breading, which explains why it looks so big. I usually go for lean meat without its skin. Its taste, however, compensated, especially when you add both the honey and thick gravy to it.

Since we are Filipinos, we also had rice plates! The first was Spicy Tuyo, an addictive salty bowl matched with Pinoy salsa of tomatoes, green mango cubes and slices of salted egg. The other is Nueva Ecija’s version of Longganisa. It was ground style and extra flavorful.

On desserts, we had what Nono’s calls Husband & Wife. I had the delectable, flourless Nono’s Oblivion Cake; while Mia downed her childhood go to cake, Strawberry Shortcake. The latter had layers of tangy strawberry cream and light chiffon.

What a night it was for us. You too, can experience what we had by visiting any of three Nono’s branches. They also have stores in UP Town and The Podium.

The place is cozy, I super like the ambiance. But don't go there during 12noon as they usually get full and busy during those hours. Better come in a little early or around 1pm.

As to their food, I love their salad menu, their roast beef, mashed potatoes and even their veggie omelette! The pasta we ordered and their House Fried Chicken is just so-so. So it's a 4 for now until I taste their other dishes as well. ;)

The place welcomes you, not just to a gastronomic experience, but also to a homey ambience. Too bad, I was seated at a table behind a huge column that’s why it took more than 5 minutes before a staff noticed me to get my order.

As per other users review, I ordered the Fried Truffle Cheese wonton (5 pieces for Php165) and Nono’s Homestyle Country Fried Chicken (Php325).

The cheese wonton is best eaten immediately after being served to appreciate the gooeyness of the cheese. If left after several minutes, the cheese hardens a bit because of the cold resto interior. The wontons are served with honey and truffle oil drizzles and a generous sprinkling of chopped walnuts. The crunchy wonton skins complement the chewy mozarella and sticky honey and truffle oil and walnuts.

The Homestyle fried chicken is served with honey and gravy, corn on cob, dinner roll and choice of rice or fries. As advised by Nica (the food server at the time of this visit) the chicken is best eaten when dipped in honey, then the gravy. I first tasted the chicken as is. It was so-so. The breading was just ok, and it was a bit bland. But after dipping it in honey and gravy, that’s when the MAGIC begins. The explosion of flavors set in. Sweet honey combined with the savory gravy plus the tender chicken meat. Now I understand why this is one of their best sellers.

They also have whole cakea at 50% discount (depending on excess stock). Had a feast coz I ordered 2 whole cakes at 50% off each. Hehe.

Yey! One of my fave comfort food resto/cafe have finally opened in Valero. Just a few steps from our main office perfect! Love the vibe of the place homey and pastel colored. Serving size of their food are really big. Must try are the truffle cheese wanton and home style fried chicken. The truffle wanton is quite addicting while the fried chicken is a perfect meal for big groups. Crispy boneless chicken that is so good with their gravy and honey combined. I also tried their classic bolegnese pasta. That one was also good. End your meal with their chocolate oblivion and for sure you'll keep coming back.

We had an awful experience at a nearby spa, so we were looking for a place to blow off some steam and eat something with cheese (to make us feel better 😂). As we were walking along Valero we saw Nono’s and decided to try the place. The place is welcoming, bright, seating is adequate. Been wanting to try Nono’s out, luckily it was brought to the Makati district. Ambiance is great, the interior is a homey vibe & the place does not look crowded - they have a good table-layout.

For the food, ordered 2 of Nono’s favorites — Nono’s Homestyle Fried Chicken & Truffle Pasta. It went perfect together 👌🏻

▪️Nono’s Homestyle Fried Chicken
The boneless chicken is sooooo good, it’s juicy, it’s tender and it’s delicious. We were told by the staff to first dip it with honey then the gravy and it was so yummmy!! The price is a bit expensive (P565 for 2-3 people) but you get what you pay for. It’s really worth a try 😉

▪️Truffle Pasta
The pasta is al dente and it comes with a right amount of truffle oil, the taste is strong and it has no ‘umay’ factor. I must say it is one of the best truffle pastas I’ve tasted so far. Definitely trying this each time I go visit Nono’s!

They are just on soft opening but i've been here twice already. :) It was my first time to taste their chicken which you have to dip in honey and gravy. It was something new to my taste buds, but i have to admit it was flavorful! I wouldn't come back if i didn't like the taste (right?). We had the Nono's chicken, chorizo and marinara pasta, and chocolate oblivion. The staff were pleasant and very friendly. They would visit your table and ask if you needed anything. I would rate their customer service as 5.0, but since they are on soft opening and I'm sure there would still be improvement in the coming days, hence the 4.5 rating. Special thanks to Ms. Mimi who instantly recognized me on my second visit. :)

Lovely place! My friend and I just had dinner here last night. We ordered 2 Mains — Grilled Pork Chop and Nono’s Homestyle Fried Chicken. The pork was a bit dry, but for me, it was still flavorful. The chicken was good and the combination of gravy and honey as sauce introduces a new taste in your mouth. Serving size is generous too sinceI think it could fill another person of my size and appetite. I would love to dine here again. If I had room for dessert, I would have ordered the chocolate oblivion.

One downside is the waiting time. We came in at 7:55pm and the chicken arrived at 8:35pm. It’s all good though as we were not yet very hungry. But I imagine it could be irritating to someone who is. The place was packed anyway and the staff looked really loaded.
