This is our go-to place on a weekend lunch. Would usually go before or after the lunch crowd. Love their fishball soup, lechon macau beef ampalaya and miki bihon. Those are our staples.
Lechon macau with their vinegar sauce. Yumyum, hakaw and lemon chicken and their fried rice is always our go to food here. You should try the food you wont regret it.
Food: 5/5, I will recommend their Yang Chow, Siomai, Hakaw, Beef Broccoli, Lechon Macau and the shake with Basil! You will definitely leave with a full stomach as they have big servings.
Price: 5/5, the food is worth the price.
Ambiance: 5/5
Staff: 5/5, they are approachable and welcoming.
Was looking forward to dining at Mann Hann prior to coming to Manila. This was in our bucket list. This is the 2nd MH branch eat dined at during our Mnl trip.
Of course we had yang chow, spicy salt and pepper squid and hakaw. As usual yang chow was good. Same old taste we had 11 yrs ago and same taste we have been imagining prior to coming. Spicy SP squid 🦑 was also very good and it is better here than in Mega branch. (Dined at mega branch 3 days ago) Don’t know why it was different. But At this branch, Spicy SP squid was the same 11 yrs ago. Hakaw was still good. But was kinda hard. Have tasted better hakaw than this one.
Service. We dined Friday after lunch hour (Jan2019). Place was full. Service was fast. Food was still hot. But team members lack customer service — SMILE.
Venue was nice. Tables and seats are too close to rather other which is good.
Over all experience good.
Awwww man. The food here is delicious 💯%. Great ambiance. This branch is clean. Personnel is accomodating. Clean restroom too. And the place smells good.
Amazing simple food as always. Everything was cooked perfectly. The place is always packed. Must visit!

Been a long while since our last dig-in in Mann Hann. It was already past lunch time when we found ourselves sitting in and starting to choose food from their menu. This spicy prawns is awesome. Around 6pcs I think for Php340.00. I think it’s just worth the price. Huge prawns and the not too loud spicyness. 🤣 This place definitely made to our list of favorite restaurants. ♥️
Review as of August 2018
I've used to think Mann Hann didn't serve Chinese food the way I Iiked, but then after a few more visits their cooking really does warn up to you and I've been a fan ever since. Service of this relatively recently renovated branch is quite good and the interiors very lovely.
Dishes we've tried in this branch (though their food is fairly consistent across all branches), recommendations are marked with a star (🌟) :
- Chicken Corn Soup
- Eggplant with Minced Pork*
- Spicy Prawn
- Cereal Chicken*
- Lutong Lechon Macau
Had late lunch today. Ordered cereal prawns, lechon macao with tofu, yang chow fried rice, and a liter of honey lemon iced tea. Food was great and well worth the price. 😋
A little more than your average Chinese. A nice, quick lunch with my parents. Mann Hann food fills the tummy and the heart as this is the type of Chinese food that I grew up with. We ordered beef with broccoli, seafood lomi, salt and pepper squid and salted fish fried rice. All dishes were absolutely yummmmmmm and good value for money. Service was prompt and friendly. Good for everyday Chinese.
It was my first time going to this restaurant..
The first thing I like is there ambiance it was so nice , ive been tired before I go there but when we enter the restaurant I will relieve.. maybe because of the lighting of the place..
The food was fabulous ! There serving is actually good for two ... :)
The crews are kind and very accommodating..
I think I will go back here again.. :)
Love this place to get your fix of chinese food. They have rice meals that you can order to enjoy your favorite chinese food. I love their beef brocolli rice. The order is more than enough to fill your craving. And they are pretty consistent in the different branches.
I was completely satisfied. Yum. Super full. I love the dishes. I can't name them one by one but rest assured they were all great! I love it.
Foods are okay, but there's nothing exceptional. What I like with them is that they have fast crew and service. The place has too small spaces for tables tho.
My family luvz Asian fOod (esp. Chinese food) after shopping we ate here.. we ordered hototai soup, beef broccoli flower, shrimp rolls, buttered chicken, yang chow rice.. well, nothing unique here but the place is very neat, comfy and relaxing. And the service was fast and employees are very accomodating, that's a PLUS for me.. u deserved a 3 💛💛💛 from me.
Had a great lunch experience here earlier for some post birthday treat of a colleague. The dishes we ordered (Yang Chow Fried Rice, Prawn Wrapped in Bacon, Fried Squid, Lechon Macau, and Chicken Feet) were delicious and most of all served hot and fresh off of the pan. Most restaurants no longer value the importance of serving "hot" food on the table. The food didn't taste like drowning in MSG, which was a good thing. Complimentary house tea was overflowing.
Further, the newly renovated interior gave an encouraging appeal to hungry customers; felt tidy and spacious. Service was impeccable and commendable. Servers were attentive to our needs. Will definitely go back.
Everything tasted really good! From the Yang Chow rice to their string beans is love! We got the lechon kawali and fried squid, too. The fried squid comes with bagoong which is unusual. Surprisingly, it worked! :) It wasnt that expensive here but we enjoyed everything. Will definitely be back for more!
It is my first time in Mann Hann but I really love their chicken coz its very flavourful best paired with the beef broccoli and the chicken feet that is so divine! The service is also quick and really you can enjoy a quick meal in. A Chinese ambiance, its a must try!

Mann Hann is one of the better Chinese restaurants that serves good, delicious, and value for money Chinese food. Their dishes are good for sharing and they tastes like grandmother's cooking. It is most advisable to come as early as possible because the lines can be long during peak hours.
My officemates and I decided to splurge our first pay here. We ordered a number of dishes: raddish cake, maki-mi, fish fillet with tausi, lechon macau, oyster cake, and yang chow fried rice. Everything was good and filling. My favorite would be the fish tausi because the breading of the fish mixed with the flavorful thick sauce is a delight.
on the table: yang chow fried rice, fried squid head & broccoli flower in garlic
My-Food-O-Meter:
taste: 4/5
price: 4/5
service: 4/5
inexpensive chinese food. not high quality ingredients but not cheap either. it's kinda in the middle, but the taste and the price is really great.
The place is simple doesn't really look Chinese restaurant. Their yang chow fried rice was just okay. Others are good like the buchi, lumpia, fried spareribs.
Had dinner on a quiet wednesday (i think) evening w the bf. The place is okay.. sums it up. Their hot and sour soup though.. sacriledge! If that can even be used to describe food. Too much kinchay, I hate the taste :( the soup in itself is full ofeat, veggies and all the fan fare associated w hot and sour.. but alas.. that dreaded leafy hell needed to be there. Had other dishes but none were stand out fare.
I and my girlfriend took a date at this restaurant. Place was fine, food was served generously. Wasn't able to finish all of them because i was already full. Will be back
Ate here around 3 times now and each time, we had to wait around get seated.
Place is always packed to the gills with diners and with good reason. Food tastes great and service is brisk. Wish they had more space though so more can be seated.
