Just your typical Pepper Lunch branch, but the place was better compare to their other branches.
It was pricey but worth it! My all-time favorite is garlic pepper beef!
Staffs were just okay.
I gave 4 because there was nothing special about it.
Came to try the food. I asked the cashier what is the best seller, she pointed me the most expensive product, which first of all no true and not honest, and second of all make me feel like I’m just walking money for the brand. I went with chicken adobo and misu soup.
The flavours were good, food looks fresh, food served quickly. Value for money is ok
My quick go-to lunch spot when I’m in a hurry, but want good and fresh food. So many options to choose from and all are flavorful. I went with the burger steak and I must say, it’s one of not the best burger steak I’ve had. I’m not even a burger steak kinda person.
Out of curiosity we tried to dine here and didn't expect to enjoy the food as its really good! Worth the price to its serving and lots of choices. Surely we will visit here again. 😁
When Pepper Lunch first opened their first branch in Rockwell, I was so addicted to their shimofuri steak, now I go for the beef pepper rice. These days though the size seems smaller than before that you need to order an extra serving of beef strips. Mix the soy garlic and brown sugar sauce with a pinch of chili powder and its a great meal.

Updated rating to 5 because I really love Pepper Lunch! Been coming back to this branch and the servers are almost always pleasant and helpful and food ia consistently good. This visit we ordered 2 The Giant Steaks at ₱699 each and they were perfect! Upgraded one of the sets by adding ₱160 to get a drink, a kani salad (fave!) and a matcha vanilla ice cream.

First off, I didn’t give a perfect score because they forgot to serve my ice cream for dessert which was already paid for on my second visit/time to this branch. Whether or not I should have been the one to remember it, I’m still bummed about it. Maybe they can do something about it, like having a sign or number on the table if dessert is still missing? It’s a semi self-service restaurant where you order and pay at the counter and then they serve your food at the table so anyone is bound to forget, right?
So anyway moving on, the rest of the almost-perfect rating is because of the following:
1. Love the taste. My favorite is the classic beef pepper rice. Help yourselves with the sauces on the table, they make the meal more enjoyable. My favorite is the Honey Brown Sauce.
2. Quick, no frills, and affordable but quality everything from the food down to the utensils and the sizzling plate (it’s not your ordinary fast food sizzling plate). The classic beef pepper rice is only ₱200+. When you want to splurge, they have steaks ₱600-₱700.
3. Now this is the real reason why I was excited to review it here in Zomato) even though it’s been around for so long and so many branches already that I’m sure many have tried it), to let you know that SULIT IMO ung NEW Combo B for ₱160you get a 16oz drink and ice cream (un nga ung nakalimutan iserve after our meal on our second visit) and your choice of soup, fries and salad. I highly recommend you get the salad because the salad itself costs ₱120 and it’s a good salad, I normally order this (kani salad is my favorite) separately every time we eat there (it used to be called shake!shake! in a plastic cup container which they have transferred to a plate to help the environment by lessening use of plastic, I’ve heard). It looks like and I confirmed with the cashier that the salad included in the combo is the regular size and not a smaller portion which is what restaurants normally do (so plus points for Pepper Lunch for really giving REAL value & actual savings to customers who get that Combo set). TIP: Yun lang talaga, don’t forget to claim your ice cream after your meal kahit busog ka na and might forget it. 😅
Pepper Rice Hack: Steaks and some of the combos don’t come with pepper rice, only plain white rice. Don’t need to pay for upgrade, what I do is make my own pepper rice. Dump the rice on the sizzling plate (make space and move the meat to the side) so the rice sucks up some of the oil/butter from the plate, generously top with pepper (available on the table with the sauces) and mix in together with the veggies included in your set like corn, green beans and/or bean sprouts / togue, add sauce garlic steak and/or honey brown and MIX MIX MIX.
At first, me and my fiance didnt feel excited at all choosing from their menu, it doesnt look appetizing. But when our orders arrived, we super like the presentation and the big sizzling plate, the taste is not bad, I love the combination of pepper and corn with teriyaki. It was very filling, we had fun and will definitely go back 🤗
This branch is quite small compared to Rockwell’s (two of the malls I frequent) but the customer service is bigger in terms of quality. Staffs are super friendly and accomodating. They even gave us water and ice to be put in my huge water tumbler. Food is, of course, great. Love how the flavor of the beef and chicken mingled with the bean sprouts, french beans and corn. Even the rice is so filling that I ate just 1/3 of it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for this branch.
Its on a pricey side but worth it, interior is nice, tho its a bit noisy, service is good food is good, would consider coming back. have a mention i like Japanese food? :)
The food is consistent on all pepper lunch I guess.
But this specific branch deserves a 10 for Customer service! They are mindful of our needs and have provided us even beyond what we expected and needed.
Great food and excellent service. The place is a little bit crowded since some tables are near to each other. It is also a bit smoky since there are no exhausts for the sizzling food.

The baby sis and I were on the hunt for rice meals when we saw a Pepper Lunch at ground floor of this mall. It's a quick, easy (albeit a bit pricey for my taste) and tasty meal because their service is fast. I ordered their beef and salmon combo meal and my sister got the lamb. You don't taste the gamey-ness of the lamb and the thin beef strips and salmon were tasty as well. I would've liked a tad less salty.

Had lunch here a few days ago..ordered the Giant steak..& its surprisingly good! Its Juicy..meat is very tender..nicely flavored.. if your looking for a cheap but good steak..try this one!
There's something about their food which makes me understand why people consider it either a guilty pleasure or a comfort food; it's simply packed with flavor. Although, I don't know of its just me or the servings have slightly decreased from my first ever visit here. Other than that, it was good.
My favorite place to have my meal if I wanted things to be different. I always order their beef pepper rice upgrade with extra garlic flakes. Sooooo yummy!! The thing is its kinda oily but I really dont mind! I tried their matcha icecream but not so much for my liking but overall. This is a nice place to have a meal 😊

This place, this branch specifically is literally a stone throw away from where I work. This is my guilty pleasure. Yes I know it's too oily, yes I know the smell follows you even when you leave, and yes I know it's unhealthy.
But it's just so yummy. It's that butter, no its their beef hell maybe it's their corn or the copious amount of pepper sprinkled on top.
There's just something about pepper lunch that invites me for a plate. A friend gave me a 100 off coupon for the place and since I had a stressful day yesterday I thought to just give it a go (lol as if it was my first)
I would personally order the beef pepper rice my old favorite was their yakiniku but at some point in the past they changed how it was served and I guess you're no longer allowed to upsize it I think. And usually I go for jumbo lol 🍲
I've tried their salad in cups and I like the one with a sesame seed dressing but it's been a while since I had one so I can't really describe it anymore.
Their ice cream with the black sesame sauce is also good. The mild bitterness just balances out the sweetness from the ice cream that makes me gag as I'm really not a sweet tooth.
Service here is nice and the people are very attentive to your needs even if they're crowded during what u affectionately call rush lunch hour hehe.
Happen to be in the area and decided to try PL as have not tried this for a while now. After some time I decided to go back to my simple favorite of the Beef Pepper Rice.
A very simple dish which should have been awesome however this time the entire dish just had too much oil than the normal dish. This meant the rice just got cooked too much and then it just got too crunchy. Where i would have preferred a softer texture rice. The beef itself was ok so all fine there.

What I do not like about Pepper Lunch (and other similar establishment) is the smell that I get on my clothes and hair after dining in for almost an hour.
BUT their food is great, so who cares really? Beef pepper is always our go-to comfort food when stressed at work.
It has long been overdue; one of my favourite places for a quick light meal. I seem to have fallen in love with their chicken aglio olio and teaming it with iced tea makes up a gastronomous delight. Simple place though the service at times can be a bit lax. Love the whole hot plate concept and the juicy chicken chunks in my aglio olio.
My wife was craving for sizzling olate food after buying a couole of stuff from the clithing store. She ordered her favorite beef curry pepper rice. I ordered the chicken pepper rice. Serving here is just enough for me. My wife usually gives me a portion of hers. This is one of our go to place for some sizzling olate food.
Good and simple concept with food packed with flavor! Love the Curry beef rice is my fave! But queue gets crazy at times. Limited drinks and desert items though, it doesn't compliment the main menu.
This restaurant probably one of the busiest restaurant I've ever tried. I dont know why but when i started to eat here, my question is already answered. Must try their beef pepper. Solid beef. Just be careful with the plate you might get hurt because it is really hot. :)
This place is just fine same with their other branches. I like the curry rice with chicken and mushroom goes well with miso soup. Cant eat without my favorite kani salad. I like the food here. Price is good same with their service.
Pepper lunch for me is the affordable chain of food in the expensive places like powerplant mall, greenbelt and here and century city mall. i love the pork one. Ans put a little lot of pepper.
We were too lazy to go out so we just ordered. The delivery was quick. They really stick to what they say. I chose the chicken curry pepper rice with cheese. It was very delicious especially with the sauce being mixed. Servings were worth the price.

Wrong place to start a diet. I had lunch here with my parents earlier. My dad ordered the Teriyaki Beef Rice with Egg. My mom and I ordered the Spicy Tuna Shake Shake Salad and we shared an order of the Tomato Sausage Pasta. My dad received his order first and my mom and I were salivating like crazed dogs the moment that we had a whiff of the delicious Teriyaki Beef Rice. Our salads were tasty and the tuna was just the right amount of spicy. And our pasta was so-so. I've had better. But the cherry on top of the cake was definitely our last minute order of the Brownie ala Mode. It was simple yet sinful. The chocolate was warm, moist, and gooey and the caramel topped froyo served with it was a perfect match. We will definitely be back. No doubt about that! 🍛🍝🍰🍧👍
We got their salmon + beef and salmon + chicken rice meals. Currently P230 because of their promo so it's really a good deal.
Super accommodating staff. Since we're a big group, the crew allowed us to order from our seats! Very convenient!

Nothing special about this branch. Just another typical Pepper Lunch branch. Everything here is the same as the other Pepper Lunch branches that I've been to.
I like their beef pepper rice, hamburger pepper rice and matcha sundae. Food's really tasty and the service is quite fast. I appreciate that they have merienda promos since most dishes are pricey.

Guardians of the Galaxy date with wifey. Terrible traffic at Buendia from Bonifacio Global City last night. Missed the 7.50pm showing at Rockwell. Decided to watch the 8.50pm movie at Century City Mall.
Wifey and I had 40 - 30 mins to get tickets, check the restaurants and have a quick dinner.
We checked out Cali burger (looks like food preparation and service would be "slow" but might be worth going to one of these days if we had time)
Check out a filipino restaurant in the 2nd floor (same dilemma).

Finally decided to have quick dinner at Pepper Lunch. I ordered the ever dependable beef pepper rice (PHP198) - always highly recommended for taste and value. I also ordered the bonus meal (PHP60): mountain dew and miso soup (sadly miso soup was not available and I replaced it with caramel ice cream). Wifey had Salmon Pepper rice ( PHP 265) with extra salmon (PHP90) - highly recommended for salmon lover (i.e. wifey). Wifey of course ordered molten ala mode (PHP145)
The food at pepper lunch is always very tasty, but, the quantity of the food for the price has steadily gone down. I think this might be the primary reason for the store losing the long lines of patrons eager to have a meal at pepper lunch.
This particular store at Century City Mall is quite new. The cashier had a hard time "punching" the "usual" order of extra salmon by wifey. It was disappointing not to have miso soup but having caramel ice cream always makes things better for me - especially during rare dinner/movie dates with the wifey.
As you can probably tell by now, wifey was not able to finish her food in time for the movie. We asked to "take out" the remaining salmon pepper rice. Wifey was surprised when she opened the brown bag and saw that her meal was wrapped in aluminum foil - it would have been great if the "left over" meal was placed in a container (i.e. disposable bowl). I also had to "take out" my caramel ice cream - they placed it in a plastic cup with no cover.
Wifey and I had a nice experience at Pepper Lunch, Century City Mall. We will definitely return to Century City Mall and probably have a meal at Pepper Lunch.
