The food is good for its price. The area is a bit dark though.
This is my favorite combo every time I visit a world chicken branch. The peanut sauce on the grilled chicken reminds me of chicken satay, so I partner this with the Asian Noodles and Japanese Rice cause I think the Asian flavors complement each other so well.
Also, I’m happy that I get to relive these flavors at a quick service restaurant and not just at actual Thai or Asian sit down restaurants.
A down point for the place is that the staff kept shouting instructions at each other and of course, all that grabs the attention of the diners and destroys any chance for a peaceful and happy dining atmosphere. Hope they can have an intercom/earpiece/mic so they can stop doing that.
World of Chicken is always there to feed hungry chicken lovers. Their grilled chicken is always served hot and tender, never dry. And goes perfectly with any of their sauces. My favorite is the Jamaican jerk with spicy bbq sauce.
Even their side dishes, even if you load up on carbs (bacon rice or mashed potatoes with any pasta), the serving is just enough to fill you up, but never too much to make you feel bloated.
I also love how homey the ambiance in this branch is. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner with friends before a movie date.
Will always be my favorite place for chicken-plus-one-or-two.
I have been in this restaurant multiple times because of its affordable chicken set meals. You will choose your kind of chicken and side dish. There are a lot of choices for side dish; it could be pasta, salads, rice, bread or dessert. I will never get over with my pesto, original chicken with gravy combo. Also, a chowder soup. The taste is still the best and I always go here for a good meal.
So happy they finally renovated the place! We now dine in here more often. Their food combos are value for money. I always get original chicken with farm fresh mushroom sauce, beef mushroom rice, and asian noodles. Delicious and come in generous serving.
All my previous visits at World Chicken has always been average and reminiscent of “food court” food. But I guess I found my favorite mix now. I got Jamaican Jerk chicken, ranch bbq sauce, macaroni, and bacon rice. They had this “ajili” sauce that they portray as the sauce that goes best with the jerk. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available. Which is good because the ranch bbq was already a winner to me.
Their pesto pasta could use an overhaul as it is bland and lacks life in general. It tasted like the pesto pasta I did when I was a teenager. I eventually had it thrown away because it was so bad, nobody was eating it. Lol.
Before, I thought this was a lousy chicken fast food place and underrated it. When I tried it out, I was proved wrong.
I loved how they had a wide variety of choices and that you get to choose what you want for your meat, sauce, and side dishes. I ordered their teriyaki chicken, in teriyaki peanut sauce, with pesto pasta and paella rice. Their chicken tasted great with the sauce I chose, and I liked their paella rice. I tasted their asian noodles from a friend, and it was good as well. However, I'm disappointed by their pesto pasta, which tasted a bit bland. I didn't like their house blend iced tea too, which was kinda diluted? I suggest just having water or another drink.
The ambiance of the place was average, and their staff were attentive to our needs. Overall, the prices were fair and for me, worth it. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.
Greenbelt branch used to have the same set up as a food court where you fall in line and order from the counter. Recently though, they covered up the counter area and asks you to sit, give you a menu and a server will approach you for your orders... more of the typical restaurant setting.
We ordered their 2 sides set. They also offer soups as sides here. Chicken is juicy as usual. Happy with my fave sauce (mushroom & corn) and Tuna Fettuccine tandem. Their Chowder was a bit so-so. I was expecting potatoes and a thick base but the ones they serve was a bit watery with veggie bits. Not the definition of chowder in my mind 😅. But taste is still ok so we'll still be back.
World Chicken offers a variety of side dishes that come with your grilled chicken. Their chicken tastes great and I highly recommend the Teriyaki, Taragon or Ranch BBQ sauce. Bacon rice is a great side to order. Their iced tea is a bit small but very tasty. It's a bit pricey but it's a must try because it tastes good and it's very filling.
The only thing they should improve on is their interior.
UPDATE!!! I visited yesterday (June 22, 2017). The interior improved and it's now a sit down style of restaurant! You used to get it and pay at the counter but now it's more comfortable. Dine in and the friendly waitresses are at your service. More options on the menu now and they offer different kinds of chicken already. The best part, their delicious iced tea can now be bottomless for a cheap price!

One reason I kept going back to World Chicken is the price. For a grilled tender boneless chicken and two side dishes, it keeps me full for hours and is light on the wallet.
My usual order is the chicken with mushroom sauce, pesto pasta and mashed potatoes, but this time, I tried the chicken with the cheese mornay sauce. The pesto is creamy and flavorful and are cooked on the spot. The mashed potato is fine and the gravy added flavor to it. The cheese sauce is something different because it is not a usual sauce to a grilled chicken, but it is good. Although I still prefer the mushroom sauce.
Since I ate with friends, I was able to try what they had as well. I find the Asian Noodles are a good replacement should I get tire of the pesto someday. It has a very rich Asian flavor. They also try to add something beyond their usual menu. They now have chicken inasal and pork sisig, which I find interesting.
At 1pm, they still have a full house and the lines are still long. The interiors especially the tables and chairs are getting really old, so I wish they could get an upgrade to have a newer feel.

Head out to World Chicken if you want to satisfy your cravings for exceptionally good flame-grilled chicken at a reasonable price. In any location, World Chicken's outlets are consistently small but definitely comfortable. World Chicken offers diners the enjoyable experience of assembling their own grilled chicken meals, based on the specific taste they crave for. When eating here, expect for your patience to be tested throughout the three-part journey of ordering your meal.
The first part, of course, is specifying whether you would go for two sidings or single siding. For a small price difference, I would suggest getting two sidings.
I tried their chicken with ranch sauce and mash potatoes with gravy. This combination was excellent. I love how the mash potatoes goes well with the very flavorful chicken with ranch sauce. Their mash was a bit dry but it was just a minor thing for me.
Bang for your buck! That is what I get with world chicken. Where else would you get a chicken prepared in a healthy way, two sides and drink for around 200 bucks. Those two sides can be rice or pasta. Not to mention a sauce of your choice for the chicken. That is why World Chicken is one of my favorites!

What i love about this resto is that you can select your own sauce. Side dishes and also the menu are too bit pricey. Perfect if you want heavy meal after a dreadful day.
This is my to-go place whenever I can't think of anything to eat for the day. They have a wide variety of chicken sauces, pasta as well as side dish which makes you really want to have more.
Their pasta asian pasta is highly recommended, the chicken is so tender which goes along very well with any mushroom sauce.
The best about it is, my kids loved their chicken as well as the pasta.

Now comes the hard part. From the plethora of sauces, you have to choose one. Flavors that are available are Farm Fresh Mushroom, Brown Gravy, Mornay Cheese, Ranch BBQ, Sweet Chili Sauce, Corn and Mushroom, Teriyaki and Tarragon. I have tried all of these; each one goes well with the smoky chicken. My favorites though would be Ranch BBQ, Brown Gravy and Mornay Cheese, in that order. I also like that the chicken is pound flat so that it is cooked evenly throughout. I also love the crunchy, slightly burnt edges of the chicken.
Next comes the harder part of choosing two sidings from a host of pastas, flavored rice and mashed potato. One would really have a hard time deciding which ones to get from among these: Spaghetti Pomodoro, Fettucine Al Tono, Pesto Cream, Asian Noodle, Mashed Potato, Bacon Rice, Japanese Rice, Plain Rice, Espanol Rice, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Cheese Muffin and Fried Banana. My all-time favorites are Bacon Rice and Cheese Muffin. The Bacon Rice tastes outstanding; the flavors of the bacon bits and oil very distinct in every mouthful of this siding. Serving is also big, about more than a cupful. Meanwhile, the sweet and slightly salty taste of the Cheese Muffin is a welcome change from the rich taste of the saucy chicken and bacon rice. The Cheese Muffin is big, about half the size of a closed fist.
It's always a great experience eating at World Chicken. A full meal with iced tea or lemonade would cost one around P220. Not bad for an extremely satisfying meal.
