New Resto Find Alert!
Who knew that The Figaro Group had in its roster of restaurants one that specializes in Taiwanese cuisine...
Scrumptious meal for the fam. My grandmom loved all the food we ordered! Servings were big very good value of money and serving time was fast enough we didn't wait that long considering they were full house of customers the time we ate. Must try orange chicken. 😋😋 Overall dinning experience was ok just had to rate 4/5 because we waited too long for the bill to come. This can be improved though.

Surprisingly delicious!
Staff: 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Attentive.
Loved everything we had here so far especially with Zomato Gold: XLB, hakaw, three cups chicken, spareribs adobo. The misua soup reminded us of Taiwan the most though lacking bonito flakes. Husband also loved the minced pork over rice.
Overall really good food and good serving size 👌🏻Although for me, their dishes could be slightly less salty.
Plus, also liked their white rice it wasn’t too sticky or too dry.
Affordable taiwanese food with a wide variety of dishes. Experienced quick service, great food, and friendly staff. Would recommend their Lucky Spareribs Adobo.
Affordable, authentic, and very delicious!! There's a lot of crowd even during Sunday lunch despite it being near corporate establishments. I saw foreigners also eating here. Will definitely go back!!
service staff were responsive and friendly. food is good, tasty and they have generous serving size. good thing xiao long bao is ok for zomato gold. great selection. only large order is excluded for gold which is understandable. authentic flavor. it's value for money... we'll be back!
Very good food! Truffle xiao long bao is a must try! I also love the creaminess of the laksa soup. Very cheap price but the food is quality!
I suggest to go first with the classic Xiao Long Bao. It’s soft, delicious and it doesn’t break easily. This is for all the Xiao Long Bao virgins out there. They have many delicioux dumplings but my favorite has to be the Black Mushroom with Truffle Oil Xiao Long Bao. I could order another set of this meal and eat this all day!
For my fulk post, visit my blog :)
Their xiao long bao's really good. Spare ribs are very tender. We got here at around 3 AM, but the staff are still welcoming even if it's almost their closing time. Will definitely go back.
Great food. This is always our go to if we crave Taiwanese cuisine. Parking might be a bit hard (only 2 slots), but it's very much worth it. Xiao long bao and suahe sotanghon are must trys. Price range is excellent.
Our go to Taiwanese food place when in Makati. We love that it usually close late so we always hangout here for a dimsum and noodles fix especially when it's raining.
Assorted Xiao Long Bao is ❤!
Ordered 2 soups, both were full of great flavours, the price is very reasonable and food were served in no time. Add for that complimentary tea pot and rice chips. Wonderful.

Went there for our late night dinner. Service was fast, there staff were friendly and accommodating. Service was fast and efficient, even though we know that the food was cooked to order. Food was great. I love fried rice and especially love theirs.
One of my go-to restaurants in Banawe. They offer really good Taiwanese specialties at reasonable prices. Service is generally good, although it gets busy on peak hours.
Xiao Long Bao
Never leave this place without getting their signature soup dumplings. This is a bang for the buck - 8pcs for Php 210! The soup and meat filling is very tasty and the dough has the right thickness. However, it can be a little more soupy in my opinion.
Hakaw
Sweet and succulent shrimp filling. Good dough texture.
Three Cup Chicken
Another favorite dish of mine! I love the sticky sweet-salty sauce that coats the chicken. Plus points for the garlic cloves. The dish is very well-put!
Sweet and Sour Pork
This is a surprisingly good dish. I thought it would be one of those basic Chinese dishes, but to my surprise, the fried pork pieces are crispy and the sauce flavorful. It almost has this buttery taste that isn’t that cloying.
Salt and Pepper Squid
I love how the squid is perfectly fried - crunchy coating with a tender meat. The fried scallions added an extra layer of flavor which leveled down the oiliness from the fried squid.
Salted Egg Prawns
Probably the most disappointing part of the meal. Instead of getting a dish that’s similar to those you see from Singaporean restaurants, what was served was a platter of deep fried shrimps drizzled with a cream-colored sauce which doesn’t taste like salted egg at all. Sad.
Crispy Noodles
This is okay taste-wise. Aside from the crispy noodles (which when soaked for long in sauce turns soft), everything was soft/lacked texture.
Other dishes worth having: Taiwan-style fried rice, Seafood noodles (both not in photo).
A quiant place that offers delicious Taiwanese food. We usually order their packed lunch here. When me and my special someone ate here and tried the Mixed Xiao long bao and Siomai, it was super worth it and good news is it is very affordable! We will definitely go back here again!
Our favorite is the Cheese flavor of Xiao long bao.
went home to Philippines and stayed in Makati. we passed by this resto many times so we decided to try it. We ordered 2 bowls of Noodle soup. I got the Authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup while my husband had Taiwanese Beef Brisket. We also had a plate full of handmade pork dumplings which were amazing! I can still remember the taste of it! on the blog: TAUYANM insta: Jane Fashion Travels
First time to be here and I loved it! Food and service are great. Idela for groups and family. Will come back here to try more food. And they have delivery too.
Ordered excellent Taiwanese food from here for delivery.
Hakaw Dimsum was plump and yummy. Crispy Pepper Prawns were a great appetizer. Fish Fillet in Black Pepper Sauce had just the right texture with the fish fillets firm and not mushy and a great tasting sauce. Garlic Broccoli was healthy and tasty!
we’ve been here countless of times. staple orders: xiao long bao, salted fish fried rice, laksa, hakaw.
service i find topnotch. they’re always all smiles and always say “pleasure”
xiao long bao is hit or miss. sometimes they arrive with the soup already drained. but don’t miss their laksa (huge serving) and fried rice (very tasty)
Great food for the price. This is my go to place for comfort meals that are not extravagantly priced. My faves - original xiao long bao, spareribs, 3 cup chicken.
Tried to eat here again. Food was ok service is still bad
Very poor customer service. Ordered Taiwan Beef Noodles and dessert. The waiter served the dessert first then I waited for 20 minutes. When I followed up, the waiter suddenly gave me my bill (noodles + dessert) without serving the noodles. Turns out they still haven't made the noodles.
Ordered Handmade Pork Dumplings w/ Kuchay or Cabbage (PHP150 for 15 pcs) & Hakaw/Shrimp Dumplings (PHP110 for 4 pcs) for take out, and Mack, our server, was still sweet enough to give us Jasmine Tea and Lobster chips while we were waiting.
Jasmine Tea was good because it didn't taste watered down unlike tea from other Chinese restaurants.
Only unfortunate thing was that they mistakenly charged my card PHP745 instead of PHP260. Richard, the manager on duty, kindly explained to me that he voided the payment. However, I was almost charged again with another table's bill, which was PHP300 something. Luckily, I checked the receipt first.
Anyway, thank God because the food is great. I love the Pork Dumplings mainly because of the quantity. I don't think you can get 10-peso quality dumplings anywhere else in Makati. Hakaw is pretty much perfect for me because 1.) it has a smooth & soft but firm wrapper, 2.) it's filled with shrimp; not random fillers, & 3.) doesn't have that old, fishy taste. Smoked paprika in their chili garlic is a game changer. I seriously love it.
I didn’t like the Beef and Tendon Noodles that much as I felt like it lacked flavor, but the Assorted Xiao Long Bao is a winner! I will definitely be back.
Loved the Taiwan Style Noodle Soup, the serving was a lot than expected for its price. Their Xiao long bao was also good. Will definitely come back for their noodles ❤️❤️❤️
It was lunch time when we dine here. Place was okay. Kuya staff was very polite and accommodating. We ordered assorted xiao long bao, hakaw,Minced pork rice, three cup chicken and Congee. They have really big servings.
Assorted Xiao Long( Regular, Cheese and Black Mushroom)- I super love their xlb! It was the best I tried so far.
Hakaw- It was perfect! Generous amount of Shrimp!
Minced Pork Rice- It’s like sisig on top of the rice. Tastse was okay.
Three Cup Chicken- I asked kuya staff what are their best sellers, he recommended us this dish. This dish is a tawainese version of our adobo. I expected a lot but was disappointed. The basil made the dish so bitter. Sad.
Congee- Good for sharing. My friend really liked it.
Over all, Our experience was good.Will definitely come back to try other stuff on their menu!
Haven't seen any branches of this restaurant except for this one and I wanted to try something that is not too popular.
Xiao Long Bao - delicious, affordable but some pieces tears up when scoop it up from the bamboo basket.
Minced Pork Rice - nice flavor, reminds me of sisig rice but the pork is fatty.
Salt and Pepper Squid - simple but delicious.
Taiwanese Milk Tea - a must order. Too sweet but the flavot balances out when you ask for more ice.
Taiwanese restaurant popular to Chinese people. Just a testamenr of the flavors you will experience at Tien Ma's.
In addition to their xiaolongbao which they take pride of, their pancit and chili dishes are must try's.
Place might be small which make people opt for other nearby restaurants.
Place: 3/5 (there's a spot will make you freeze due to the airconditioning)
Food: 4.5/5
Price: 4/5
Service: 3.5/5
Dinner at @tienmasph consisted of Taiwanese deliciousness:
📌Xiao Long Bao - I’ve always been partial to the Xiao Long Bao of Din Tai Fung.. until I tried this. While it didn’t have as much soup as DTF’s, it was very tasty and stuffed with meat. Yum, yum, YUM!!
📌Salted Egg Yolk prawns - this will satisfy any craving of Salted Egg prawns, but I like DTF’s more 😝
📌Oyster Cake - I liked their version of an oyster cake even if I didn’t really taste much of the oysters haha maybe because it reminded me of a Pajeon instead.
📌Taiwanese Fried Rice - it was worth the cheat!
I honestly can’t wait to take @jodiesdaddy and @superjodiewodie here. I think they will also enjoy it! Thanks to @dongtpc for first telling me about Tien Ma’s and Caloy for dragging me here!

Nothing comes close to Tien Ma's Taiwan-style Beef Noodles around the city. The succulent beef, the perfectly cooked noodles, and the flavorful broth can give the Japanese ramen places a run for their money.
Couple that with Mushroom Truffle XLB, and you've got yourself a winner of a lunch in under Php500 for two -- depending on your appetite.
Got Three Cup Chicken and rice for good measure. Bestseller.
Since I miss Taiwan that much, I went to Tien Ma which is just near to my workplace, I just want to try their Xiao Long Bao and check if its as tasty as the one I ate in Taiwan. Yes, it almost tastes as the one I had then. I tried their minced pork rice, as a Filipino I prefer more sauce to my rice. I added hot prawn salad to my meal and I did not expect na ganun kalaki yung servings, good for 2 to 3 persons. Overall I am satisfied with my meal. Mabait yung staffs nila. Sulit for my 500 pesos. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Along Makati Ave near Jollibee, this is a must try. Glad we came early at 6pm because it's already packed at 6:30pm.
Each dish costs around PhP 200 each - good for 3 to 4 persons. They also have PhP 135 set meals with ice tea.
I will recommeng the Salted Egg Shrimps. It's soo good. I guess anything with Salted Egg really tastes amazing.

First time to eat taiwanese cuisine and it was really good!
I ordered the Honey Lemon Chicken and the Xiaolongbao. For dessert, I got the Mango Sago.
The Honey Lemon Chicken was quite a lot, it can be shared by 2 people cause I took on that chicken by myself and I was full half way through. There was more of the honey than the lemon taste which wasn't bad but I prefer more lemon.
The Mango Sago was one bowl! I didn't expect it to be a lot and for its price it was worth the 10min wait to serve it.
The Xiaolongbao was the star from what I ordered. It tastes like gyoza honestly that's why I loved it haha
The only down side though was the place, it was small. We had to wait 20mins to be seated.
We went to Makati to find a Chinese or Japanese restaurant and we ended up with this place. My Taiwanese friend is happy to find a Taiwanese restaurant in Makati. We order handmade pork dumplings which he gave an score of 2 and me 4, their bestseller, three cup chicken which we both gave 4, seafood tofu pot which is also 4 from both of us, rice which was very good and melon sago which is 4 from and 3 for me. Although the place is small, the service is very good. The manager even approach our table to ask if the food is okay. The girl service named Lorraine gave an excellent service too. They also have jasmine tea they serve before the meal which was very nice too. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Went to dine again in this small restaurant in Makati today, 3/10/2018. Me and my Taiwanese friend were again not disappointed. We ordered deep fried intestine which is surprisingly so good! Seafood tofu pot, beef with broccoli and misua soup. Everything is good! According to my friend the food really tasted the way they are cooked in Taiwan. Excellent service again.
First of all, I would like to say that they probably have the friendliest staff ever. Anyway, I ordered the Taiwanese Beef Noodle and the Buchi. The noodles were okay but the beef was very tender and tasty. My only complaint is that the serving could have been a tad bit bigger. Medyo bitin yun noodles. The Buchi was good enough. Same as other Chinese restos.
I would have given 4.5 stars if the chili was spicier (it was mild at best) and the serving was slightly bigger.
Xiaolongbao is a must to try menu in tienme. Kungpao chicken is too salty probably adding salt and the fermented bean is the cause the extra saltiness. Price for the vegetables is expensive but the taste is ok
I've always wanted to eat at Tien Ma's because I love Chinese cuisine, but it took me almost a year to finally try it out - because of my schedule, mostly. I really loved my experience here. Food and service? Just excellent! 💯

I give the food a 9/10. Tried the xiao long bao, salted egg prawns, taiwanese chicken chops, and taiwanese beef noodle soup. Everything was good expect the chicken chops which could be improved using Hot Star (Taiwan) as a standard. I think the taste of the food is close to their Taiwanese counterparts. The staff are very helpful and attentive.
I recommend for you to try Tien Ma. It's a cheaper alternative to other Taiwanese restaurants in Manila (Din Tai Fung and Lu Gang) but the quality does not suffer.
authentic taiwanese cuisine. small dish to maximize tasting all dishes. place small but well lighted. service average. value for money. delicious & very unique taste. 2 parking slot only. try come early for dinnerm reservations is chaotic at best due small place.
Taiwanese Cuisine Foods ...
this Place is so small parking can be only have 2 , but the food are goods naman all foods are so yummy!!! 😃😃😃
Shockingly, this small place along Makati Avenue serves decent Taiwanese food with good portions at a reasonable price.
So I got to try their:
• Classic Xiao Long Bao (P200 for 10pcs) - I think it was just okay compared to other restaurants;
• Stinky Tofu in Special Sauce (P199) - definitely not for everyone but for me, it was yummy;
• Stir-fried Beef with Broccoli (P219) - a staple Chinese food so I don't have any comments to it;
• Steamed Lapu-Lapu in Soy Sauce (P350) - delicious! First time I got to see a lapu-lapu served without the bones;
• Crispy Pepper Shrimp (P199) - 👌🏼value for money! P199 for a 10-pc. nice-sized shrimp dish;
• Three Cup Chicken (P219) - not really memorable but still a good dish;
• Taiwanese Style Beef Noodle Soup (P200) - the broth was tasty, not oily and the beef was really tender (not in the photos);
• Mango Sago (P65) -a nice take to this iconic Chinese dessert where they made it parfait-like which actually works plus, it's not too sweet; and
• Salted Egg Custard Bun (P65) - Only comment for it is that I just wanted the salted egg inside to be bursting from my bite, which it didn't. That could have been magical!
Will definitely go back to this place for a quick fix of Taiwanese food!
Came here on a Saturday for lunch with friends. We ordered Taiwanese fried rice, salted egg prawns, 3 cups chicken, salt and pepper squid and garlic broccoli. We had mango sago for dessert. As for dimsum, we had siewmai and Xiao long bao. The food arrived within 10-15 mins and it was really good. We loved everything we ordered and my personal favourite was the salted egg prawns and mango sago! Will definitely come again!
good food friendly staff. assorted xiao long bao was great. wifi was fast and they didnt mind that i was working on my laptop. went there 3pm, half full restaurant.
