Out go to chill out place! Dinner, drinks and live performances!
Chill spot in the morning, party hub at night. Better bring your friends here for a pre or post-drinking sesh. There's plenty of alcoholic beverages and cool bar.
Great variety off food! Big servings! Friendly staff. Value for money!πππππ
We got to try several dishes paired with Jufran's special sauces.
The Plantation's 3 Sausage Platter with Jufran's Sriracha Ketchup. This is the first time I tried a Sriracha Ketchup. Not bad. The Sausage Platter alone is good but the sriracha ketchup made it better.
Fish & Chips - it looked plain to me but with Jufran's Banana Ketchup, it somehow added flavors
Lechon Kawali paired with Jufran's Sweet Chili Sauce is too good and I can't get enough with it. It was juicy and has that salty flavor in the skin. The meat was tender. Jufran is famous for this sauce and it has a good combination of sweet and spicy elements as a dip for fried food like shanghai, lechon kawali, and more.
Fall-off-the-bone Baby Back Ribs paired with Jufran's Red Hot Chili Sauce gives a spicy kick to the food while maintaining the rib's savory hickory taste.
Crispy Pata - crispy and crunchy pata that's good with toyomansi. I paired it with Jufran's Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce and it gave me that spice with similar to catsup but has a more liquid and thinner consistency. Their crispy pats should be consumed immediately or it'll get chewy.
You can even mix and match them with your favorite food to make perfectly delicious combinations.
The Plantation bar has a lot of beer pairings as well.
Just discovered a gem of a place, literally a stone's throw away from my office building, along Valero. Check out The Plantation!
After a few years in the Ayala Legazpi Village area, they found a new home here at the Ayala Salcedo side. They serve Filipino dishes made more awesome, and yes, they are open 24 hours! Fit for lunch outs for graveyard shifters like me, or for those who want a nice cold beer with their dinner after work.
I was fortunate enough to be invited to try a different pairing - - The Plantation's bestselling dishes with our alltime favorite Jufran, with its arsenal of new sauces and dips.
Check out this list of pairings you must try when you visit The Plantation!
πΆοΈ Baby Back Ribs with Jufran Red Hot Chili Sauce - The spicy Red Hot Chili Sauce gives a different dimension of flavor to the Baby Back Ribs and the sweet peppery barbecue sauce it comes in.
π Fish and Chips with Jufran Banana Ketchup - The trademark sweet blend of the Banana Ketchup enhances the tender fish. Dip your chips in the ketchup too for a sweeter finish!
π Crispy Pata with Jufran Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce - Sriracha has always been a taste of its own and it lends a hotter spicy flavor to good old Crispy Pasta. Very appetizing!
πΆοΈ 3 Sausage Platter with Jufran Sriracha Ketchup
- Sriracha Ketchup is definitely a new favorite for me! Hot spicy goodness perfect for flavorful sausages!
π
Oragon na Liempo with Jufran Sweet Chili Sauce - Who doesn't love Sweet Chili Sauce? It's the perfect dip for the crunchy liempo!

Chill nights are a must have for anyone, especially for anybody living in the busy town of Makati City. Which is why The Plantation Bar & Bistro is the popular choice when my friends and I just want to chill and unwind after a long hectic day. The Plantation Bar & Bistro gives off major chill vibes right away. Its interiors are bright and breezy. If there were a hammock or a duyan, it would not look out of place at all. Itβs definitely a cool place to hang out. The place however, is not as serene or as quiet as it looks. Itβs a bar after all, so expect loud music, excited conversations and bursts of laughter everywhere you turn. Be sure to come a little bit earlier if you want to get a table on weekdays, because the place is the go-to place for a lot of people after work.
The Plantation Valero has relalocated at their current location at 102 Valero Street, Salcedo Village, Makati City. I still remember the old Plantation location at C. Palanca Street. Do not make the same mistake as I did because I still have their old Legaspi Village location in mind. For this dining experience, in partnership of The Plantation, we had a sampling of the NEW SAUCES FROM JUFRAN. It is more than your classic Banana Ketchup! Now in an assortment of sauces to spice up your meals and make it #TaraySaSarap! Together with Zomato Philippines and The Plantation, we embarked on a food pairing afternoon to taste test these combinations.
βοΈ MUST! Crispy Pata paired with Jufran Sriracha Hot Sauce.
βοΈ Fish & Mashed Potatoes with Jufran Banana Ketchup.
βοΈ Sausage Platter with Jufran Sriracha Ketchup.
βοΈ Baby Back Ribs with Jufran Hot Chili Sauce.
βοΈ Lechon Kawali, Pinakbet & Laing Platter with Jufran Sweet Chili Sauce.
The sauce pairings worked well. Each has its own distinct taste that complimented each dish. The Fish and Chips + Banana Ketchup was a nice combination. Since it was deep fried, it reminded me of the classic chicken pairing which another restaurant made famous.
The Plantation is also a nice watering hole and a hang out while waiting for traffic to die down before heading home. Recommended.
Spice up your meals with pair of your favorite Jufran sauces #taraysasarap (Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, Banana Ketchup,Sweet Chili Sriracha Ketchup and Red Hot Chili Sauce). Perfect combo meals of @theplantationvalero with Crispy Pata,Baby Back Ribs, Lechon Kawali, Fish & Chips and Sausage.
I like the big serving of their foods, good for sharing, the quality of food and worth for the money and perfect for their Jufran sauces for their meals.
Definitely will come back again because the good taste and passed by taste buds.
Ambience is good. Atmosphere is chill. Food menu is diverse and good. Service staff are also polite and prompt.
Plantation is one of the well-known after-office hang-out places around the area so expect a surge of people after work hours.
Today, my officemates and I had dinner here. We ordered from their famous pork chops selection. The servings were generous, in fact each plate may be shared by two not so big eaters.
Since itβs also an inuman place, the resto can be quite loud. So if youβre okay with that environment, this is a good place to be. ππΌ
A fun place for group hangouts. Food/drinks are affordable, quality is okay. When we went here, they had a guess-the-song game. Will surely come back as i havent tried their specialty drinks yet.

Nice place to spend the night with friends. I enjoyed the sausage platter.
I really wanted to try seafood so i visited this cafe famous for its fresh seafood dishes. I ordered fish and chips and salmon plantation.
They were amazing in taste and finely cooked.
Had a happy day!
I visited this cafe in makati city which is is famous for its chicken and beef I I ordered chicken in a basket and I wanted to try beef so I ordered bulalo. Beef boys ok in taste and chicken was awesome.
I tried this amazing pasta with mixed sea foods black olives and fresh white onions in tomato sauce. It was the best i had in past days.
Loved the food.
Highly recommended.
A go-to place for late night drinks as itβs open 24 hours. Spicy spare ribs, chicken fingers, and fish and chips are my favorite food here.
The 5 shots of Cuervo for 500 pesos on Thursdays is a good deal... if you can make it to work the next day π
We had our team lunch here earlier and I ordered Bolognese Sausage, I loved it! Price and serving were reasonable! Will definitely come back here and try their other best sellers! =)
We had the Herb Crusted Dory, and the Fish & Chips for lunch.
Both were amazing and perfectly flavored. The Herb Crusted Dory looked bland but prepare to be surprised by how delicious it actually is. Slightly wishing they served it with Pesto Rice like described in the menu, but I can't complain anything about the Pilaff Rice they replaced it with. Just add Php60 to your order to get a Mango Shake with whipped cream.
Servers are attentive and accommodating.
Will definitely come back! But not after work because I hate the manual queueing required here at night.
This is one of our after-work hangout places. The food is good and cheap - favorite is their chicken in a basket (so good!) and roasted garlic shrimp and chorizo pasta.
Drinks are priced reasonably too, and another great thing about the place is that it is open 24 hours.
I bought Kiwi Shake and Watermelon Shake as my plus one. They are both refreshingly satisfying. I can drink these everyday. Perfect summer drinks.
Delicious food, big servings, and the nicest manager! We held our xmas party here and he gave us the best deal. Just avoid Fridays, because it is really jampacked!
Makatiβs hideout for the YUPs - young urban poor, bucket of san mig light and pulutan at an affordable prize at the heart of the central business district of makati where the YUPs usually go after a long day at work just to chill and let the traffic die down and enjoy acoustic music and chat with friends.. good place to just chill and drink.

Always a nice place to catch up with friends. Good food. Good ambiance. Good deal with their beer promos. I will recommend this place to my workmates. But I think, they need to add manpower during lunch time, other than that, all good!!!! Will be visiting again soon!
Really good food and cheap! Known as a drinking place but they do serve really good food! Try their signature laing and kare-kare! Delicious!
Gotta love their Oragon GRILLED LIEMPO and their Sisig mixed with bell peppers and onions! Value for money! Also a good place for hanging out after work :)

We went here on a Saturday night and we became part of their Magic Night featuring Magic Manila and The Story Circle. It was an amazing night. We ordered their pesto and rib poppers. They were all yummy and their servings are really generous! Will definitely be back.
This used to be my favorite place for lunch & after-work drinks, when it was still in Legaspi Village (near my then office)
Chicken Parmigiana - Super delicious with its bacon-wrapped chicken fillet, mashed potato, marinara sauce, and (omg) baked cheese, plus roasted veggies--this dish is basically all my favorites in one plate!
Lechon Kawali w/ Pakbet - This is the first dish I've ever had in Plantation--and it had me coming back over and over. The thing is, I rarely eat Pakbet...but I had one here because I liked it. I wonder if they can also serve the Lechon Kawali with Bagoong-mansi for complete Ilocos feels?
Kare-Kare - Our usual six-man table is normally filled with six orders of Kare-Kare. In some occasions, I can change my order into something else, but my lunch buddies can never do that. Plantation's version of this popular Filipino dish is unique: less sauce, with beef chunks, ox tripe, and ox tail, served with their delicious Bagoong.
Fillet Mignon - liked everything about it except one. I liked the tender and juicy tenderloin surrounded by bacon. I liked how it is grilled and then drizzled with mushroom gravy. I liked how it was placed over a mountain of mashed potato and sided with buttered veggies. I just hated that it was served cold. I do not like my food cold. The cold just took away all the excitement.
Fish & Chips - Although the huge cut of beer-battered dory fillet could use some "twist" (like garlic flavor, perhaps) I still find it better than other fish fillets I had in the past. Konti nalang, Fish & Co na sya. The fish is served with thick-cut fries, aioli dip, and coleslaw. Perfect for light lunch or pica-pica.
Calamari Romana - It's a perfect beer-match. The battered squid could use more flavor (salt and pepper perhaps?) though. But the Marinara sauce that goes with the squid rings will fill the space.
Margarita Grilled Tuna Steak - It's a big cut and tastes fresh! According to Plantation, their Tuna Steak is delivered daily from General Santos City. One java rice isn't enough, especially with the lemon butter sauce which gives extra kick to the tuna. I requested for toyomansi, though, and I enjoyed it so bad.
Seafood Puttanesca - Big serving! Even for the price, you won't feel cheated as there are lots of seafood in it. It's a bit sour due to tomatoes and olives, but overall...love it! Almost every dish in Plantation, actually!
Crablets - Not such a fan of small crabs, but this is nice with a beer.
Love their flavored beers, by the way!
I like how cozy this place is. Still spacious even on a busy weekday lunch. One can find solace in a spacious bistro especially with delectable meals.
TLC - Deep fried Tilapia fillet with Laing and Ensalada
Crispy Tilapia fillet served with vinegary soy dip, a generous serving of Laing supposedly as a side dish, but heck, serving was GOOD, and ensalada of chopped tomatoes, onions and chives. I just found the ensalada too overpowered by lots of onions.
Grilled Mediterranean Pork chops with Mushroom Pilaf
2 huge pieces of Grilled pork chops perfectly marinated and tender enough considering pork chops are tough cuts. Mushroom pilaf is good except that I find the rice a bit undercooked, loved the flavor, though.
Chicken Teriyaki
Tender chicken teriyaki fillet with java rice. Served with corn salsa. Chicken is tender and not overcooked.
Price a bit on the high side but, hey, it pays to treat yourself once in a while. πβ€οΈ
So despite of the inclement weather (#Indayph), we still decided to go out for lunch. We went to Plantation in Salcedo, actually my nth time going there since my office is located very near the site, so I guess, this post has long been over due. On my personal view, I always enjoy whenever I go here not only because of the ambiance, staff but of course the food! Foods were so great - always order their pasta and breakfast meals because of their quite huge serving - adequate enough to fill my tummy and also the reasonable price. We'll definitely go back for more and try everything in their menu. Go there too and experience for yourself!
A good place to have your night cap or just to hang-out with your friends. Love the new place because of its almost all white interior space.
A friend recommended the deep friend nachos and it is good perfect if paired with alcoholic beverages. Also sampled morning sunrise (not sure on the name) that is tequila based drink which is on the strong side. Seems like they changed their menu, I'll probably come back to try other dish.
Atmosphere, food and drinks (well, most of the drinks) were absolutely great.Β They switched the liquor to a bottom barrel scotch on my third and final drink. I did not say anything because I figured what would it it accomplish and I usually err on the side of caution as I do not want to be "that" kano.Β To add insult to injury, when the bill came, they tried to charge me for six drinks when I had only had three.Β In their defense, when I brought it to their attention, they quickly corrected it.Β I was drinking Johnny Walker Double Black so there could have been a miscommunication as far as the bill was concerned...again erring on the side of caution.Β This would have been an easy five star visit and I am disappointed as I thought had found an incredible, 24/7 hour place with great food to eat close to my office.Β I will go back, but now I will have to audit my bill like it is an important financial statement lest I be taken advantage of.Β In spite of all this, they still deserve 4 stars and you should check this place out whether for the food or the drinks.
Good Food , Good wine, Good Place, Good People.. Love Putanesca, IΒ have never love shrimp coz I have an allergy but never mind! and Chicken with Mashed Potato filled with Cheese.. you're right that's all i need to know ! :)

Upon going here on a Friday night, I begun to understand why most of my officemates were raving about The Plantation. Food is very affordable, generously served and deliciously satisfying too! We ordered their Sisig, Beef Salpicao and Chicken Teriyaki.
Service is great; as the waiters are fast, attentive and warm. The restaurant is usually filled and cramped especially on friday nights so expect some waiting time before being given a table.
Staff- awesome customer service! Friendly staff and not hesitant to make conversations. They are also good with product knowledge. I asked for the liquor base and mixture of their signature drinks and the guy attending to us was able to answer without blinking, without stuttering. ππ»
Spicy spare ribs- very good! not too spicy, just enough spice to excite the palate. Meant for sharing. π―ββοΈ
Summer Sunset - base liquor is Tequila. Itβs not too sweet and not too strong. I shared a pitcher with my colleague and it was just enough to make us both feel light headed, not drunk. π₯
Ambience- the place is not too big, but spacious. It is clean but there is a lingering smell in the air that distracts me... smells like dirty clothing. We are the first customers inside so I dunno where the smell is coming from (not from us im sure!). It was also a bit warm. πΎ
Price- very reasonable. 1 pitcher of Summer Sunset is for 350. An order of Spicy Spare Ribs costs 195. π€
Worth another visit so we can try other items on their menu! π

π Spicy spareribs
β I liked this best amongst our orders. Crispy with the right amount of seasoning and spices.
π Crispy Pork Sisig
β It was okay. Not bad but nothing really special.
π Chicken Fingers
β i didn't like it. The beer batter lacked flavor. I felt it was coated with too much bland batter and even the chicken weren't seasoned well.
This place has a very warm and comfy ambiance plus I love their version of the porkchop, sisig and laing. I will sure be back for other Filipino favorites. PS: Super love their ice tea.
