staff were polite. there are good selection of beverages however the food choices are more for lunch and breakfast. i hope they can have more pica pica selections
This is my go to place when I need to get some work done since they have free WiFi and their menu is perfect for any time of the day.
It was such a hectic week, so I wanted to have drinks after dinner.
My boyfriend and I decided to go here, since we prefer to have cocktails (plus it’s a bonus that they have 2+2 on drinks!). He got the Classy Jamaican, while I had the Darjeeling Sour.
I really loved my choice of drink! It’s actually interesting how the darjeeling tea was infused with bourbon. The slice of lemon just made my drink even refreshing.
In the middle of our drinks and conversation, I kinda felt hungry so I ordered the White Truffle Fries. It’s good, but I think the oil can be lessened a bit. I love how thick the fries are though :)
Overall, my first experience at this location was great. It was convenient, we got our seats immediately, and we did not have to wait too long for our orders to arrive.
Single Origin is known for their coffee, yet me and my gals had a tea party here! After having dinner at a restaurant nearby, we decided to catch up on our lives here since it's more cozy and homey.
Using Zomato Gold, we had the Organic Rooibos Bourbon Loose Leaf Teas and Crimsonberry Iced Teas. Both teas compliment each other since both are sweet and tastes like berries. Would love to try their Eves Rose Petal soon (since it was out of stock when we dined here)!

Sweaty, tired and cold. To be in the construction business and live in humid tropical Philippines. It was a near perfect concoction for us to simple keel over from exhaustion. That's also a perfect situation for pizza and beer... however instead of going for a certain brick over pizza place, while we were waiting for the rain to stop, we saw a quaint looking place that simply looked cozy and warm.... and that's how we stumbled upon Sinhle Origin Osteria around Salcedo.
I've had my doubts as my friend mentioned something bad but we were undeterred... and too tired to move to another place. We wanted comfort food and alcohol... and fast. Luckily they also had Zomato Gold privilege of 2+2 on drinks! That definitely sweetened the deal.
We were too tired to load up on a full meal, so we got truffle fries and a sausage platter. Beer was 150/bottle while wine was 180/glass.... in terms of value for money, ambiance and food pairing, we opted for wine.
For dessert, we got fiery chocolate cheesecake that gave the meal a smooth and exciting finish on the palate. Perfect ending to a productive day.
Ambiance is rustic and cozy. Love the interiors and the attention to detail. Especially the contrast of materials used in the loft bathroom.
Overall, it was a memorable impromptu after work date that delighted us.
Nice place to chill with good craft beers and Italian fare.
I had a fizzy Americano Perfecto while waiting for my friend. This is a good daytime drink! Had this with House Pate with Tomato Marmalade & Pane Rustico. Excellent pate on toasted bread.
Love their Truffle Chips complimentary dish. Goes well with beer. We had a couple of glasses of Holgate Little Heifer draft and a couple of bottles of Kona Big Wave. Nonna's Wagyu Polpette - tasty meatballs in a thick tomato & cheese gravy. Classic Gnocchi is another light pasta dish in Pomodoro sauce.
My friends ordered Reuben sandwich, and the meatball made of wagyu, and I had the classic pizza (which was covered with fresh arugula). For the drinks we had salted caramel milkshake, and the peach tea. A bit pricey for the serving size I think. Cozy place. My friends weren't raving about their food, so I guess ok lang 😜
I’ve only had the breakfast sausage here for brunch and it is good. The mustard is especially piquant and goes well with it. The coffee is also excellent. Love the hot mocha here and even their iced tea.
It is a nice chill and relaxing place for Saturday brunch.
Aside from the great ambiance, I really love that they have such accommodating and friendly staff! Their Perfect Serve Gin and Tonic is the best! A must try! I just wish they serve breakfast all day. Love their coffee! Will def come back!
What a great selection of food and cocktails. The perfect place for a date or to get away from the 6pm makati traffic in the rain. All the better with their 2+2 on zomato gold without restricting any drinks. The food is definitely not for the non discerning palate. The wagyu braesola is amazing.
There's a special coziness to the look and feel of Single Origin in Salcedo. We settled down and ordered a shared pizza (the Romana, with truffled potato), which had a great pizza dough.
Then amongst ourselves we shared an Amatriciana pasta, a sausage platter, and some pretty awesome crispy fried chicken.
We ordered milkshakes and a Peruvian chocolate (not chocolatey enough for me...), and a lava cake a la mode.
I expected a menu that was more thoroughly Italian. It is, in parts. The rest that isn't is nicely executed.
Can't wait to return during the day and sample their amazing collection of single origin coffee beans.
Single Origin Osteria is a great place to really unwind and catch up with friends on a Sunday afternoon. They have a variety of good cocktails and coffee drinks. Loving their Italian menu and my favorite is the Pumpkin Malfatti. Think gnocchi but with pumpkin puree inside! Paired beautifully with cream sauce and almond slivers, it gives a nice texture in the mouth! Their dishes for sharing so you can have variety. Other dishes we enjoyed but ate so fast we didn’t take any pics of are the House Pate and Arancini. Already planning my next visit back. :-)
Came in for a light dinner of a mushroom soup, proscuitto sandwich and strawberry basil lemonade
Everything was good. However one star deducted for the fact the first mushroom soup they served us tasted like water. No amount of salt nor pepper was giving that thing taste. Turns out they forgot one important step of the cooking process (likely the part where they season it or add the stock for flavor) and they happily replaced it with a new, much tastier bowl.
Mark, our server was attentive, helpful and fast. Overall a good meal.
New favorite go to place for coffee! I normally go to their BGC branch but found this place to have a more quiet and chill vibe. Staff here seems to be a lot more polite than the one in BGC.
Went with my usual Iced Vanilla Latte and tried their Carrot Cake which was to die for. 😁

I got pretty curious of why they called this particular branch "Osteria" so I immediately asked them... and I was pretty impressed but since I was craving for their Bacon and Eggs, I immediately went inside and ordered it together with my 18-Hour Cold Coffee.
Ambiance - 5.0/5.0
This is really different from the other branches, for me this branch is more vibrant in a way but the experience is still the same.
Service - 5.0/5.0
The staff were all excellent and very polite. I enjoyed talking to them and I even learned a lot of new things. Osteria literally means Italian lunch so that is why their Breakfast Menu is available from 7:00-11:00am only. And 11:01am onwards, they will serve the Italian pizzas and appetizers.
Food - 5.0/5.0
I am really happy with my Bacon and Eggs *heart emojis* 'coz it was well balanced. The lettuce and tomatoes are fresh and the vinaigrette makes it more enticing to be eaten. While the Bacon is crunchy and thick and I love how the egg melts in my mouth.
My coffee is good and really strong. Even the ice starts melting, its still strong.
I would definitely come back for the Osteria experience.
Great place. Went yesterday for an office party there and wow - what a place. They aced all departments - wine and drinks, food, service everything.
Ambience was good though place felt cramped for our group of 10 which swelled further.
We tried their craft beers and also the house wines which were on happy hour. Was not happy as they chilled the brilliant Abruzzo red there. So we switched to Rosso - which was great. Ordered their appetisers and they were to die for -especially the fried mozrella. We lost count of how much aricini and fried mozrella we ordered.
Could not wait to go back for a proper main course and coffee as well.
The new single origin in town. It was a real pleasure seeing this new branch pop up in Salcedo village. The atmosphere is nice, relaxed and the food was really good too. Myself and my partner shared a few of their dishes and each one was tasty, and met expectations. Mushroom soup to start, gnocchi pasta and salmon fillet for main. Everything came out hot and tasted fresh. So we will be coming back again, even just for a glass of wine and a dessert. :)

I always say that Single Origin is the best place for my needs: yummy food, delicious coffee, great cocktails.
The nearest Single Origin branch from my office is the Greenbelt branch. When I found out that another branch will open at Salcedo Village, I was ecstatic.
I visited on a Thursday night while on a date and I was telling my companion all the things I love about the place. We arrived just in time for the last 30 minutes of happy hour so we had to have a glass of wine.
Single Origin did not disappoint me and I was happy that even my date enjoyed his first time here. However, I found the Carbonara a bit expensive and less creamy compared to my favorite truffle pasta from the original branch.
Nevertheless, Osteria is still a branch that I will come back to at any time of the day.

Went here during their first day of operations. We ordered their Classic Italian pizza as it's not available in the other Single Origin branches. One of the best pizzas I've tried. Thin crust which offers good bite. I think the ends are stuffed with ricotta as well. The greens (basil and arugula) may seem overwhelming visually but complemented the rest of the ingredients.
Will definitely be back.
