Went there on a Sunday at 8:30 AM to have a breakfast. Took us a while, maybe 5-10 mins, before we got a seat. Still a bit early but the resto is packed. Ordered their Vigan Longganisa and Gourmet Sausage Kantostyle Breakfast, served with 2 eggs and a garlic rice: 132 pesos for each meal. Their serving is generous, and well presented in the plate. Also ordered a waffle with mixed berries for 132 pesos, very soft and delicious to eat, though there are just few bits of berries on it. For the drink, we ordered Iced Caramel Macchiato for 65 pesos (from Batangas, tastes good)!
We liked that they used a whole tomato as garnish. The New Zealand Beef Tapa was flavorful and tender. We asked for the eggs to be well-done. However, the first one arrived completely runny and when we sent it back, it was still runny in the middle. The Crispy Corned Beef was not worth the price. It was more like corned beef croquettes and was really nothing special.
It's a great outdoor restaurant not far away from the center of Poblacion. The prices are relatively cheap (eggs benedict around 120) and the preparation is really good. Also the service is always friendly, even at nighttime because they are open 24hrs. One of my favourite spots for some light bites whenever I am hungry.
Love the New Zealand Beef Tapa and Champorado
Bago kami nag- National Museum, nag-breakfast muna kami. Siempre, san pa? Kanto Breakfast! First time nila mag-Kanto kaya I suggested their bestsellers. We had Tapa, Honey Garlic Chicken, Champorado, and Vigan Longganisa.
Maliban sa rice meals, um-order din ako ng Pancake Platter as dessert!
Talk about great value! I thought this was just another silogan, but wow, they definitely put their own touch to it. Huge portions. You will not go wrong with their honey garlic chicken. Staff is accomodating. I always leave this place with a big tummy and a big smile.
Went here for dinner and lunch the next day and was satisfied both times. Everything we ordered were very filling and affordable--- value for money indeed! 👏

My absolute favorites were the iced mocha (SUPER SULIT! They use kapeng barako so the flavor is so rich, ugh I just love it), the tomato pesto side on all the dishes, and the crispy corned beef. I liked the others, but they were "just okay" for me. I thought I was gonna love the honey garlic chicken, but it was too sweet and too oily for me. Still good, though--- and big. No wonder it's one of the bestsellers.
Ambiance and service were good, no complaints. The CR could use some more cleaning--- too many small insects flying while doing your business lol.
Will still come back for more food! I have yet to try their churros with tsokolate eh, which was unavailable when we were there.

For the price, you can't go wrong with Kanto. They offer an extensive menu so it would be difficult to choose something to eat (because everything sounds delicious tbh) although my go-to order is the honey fried chicken which is reaaally good. Their coffee drinks are not bad. Service is great. And they're 24 hrs!!!

Kanto Freestyle is my go-to all-day breakfast place whenever I visit Makati. My recommendation is to try their premium beef tapa which is very tender and savory. Their other menus are ok.
Early breakfast after a good night out with friends. The pancakes were delicious and I like that it’s in the smaller side with three different toppings. There are other toppings you can choose from depending on your cravings. They also have other savory breakfast items available.
Been eating in here since it first open in Mandaluyong. We've tried their branches in Kapitilyo, Marikina and Makati. The owners of this resto also owns chef arch lime 88 in Mandaluyong which also serves gourmet streefood meals. You can choose a variety of meals to have it customized on your own, from a sunny side up egg to scrambled to omelette. They serve breakfast gourmet meals at an affordable price all day. Must try: Tuyo with kesong puti, champorado, beef tapa, longga vigan and lucban, chicken, bacon and ice scramble.
Always satisfies my cravings! Pinoy breakfast with a twist. Although at times overcooked, most especially their chicken,still,it doesnt affect the taste just a little bit of the texture. But that's understandable due to the fast influx of customers.
The perfect place for breakfast. My favorite is the Honey Garlic Chicken. It has a LOT of chicken for its very cheap price, and it's one of the best fried chicken I've ever tried. The Eggs Benedict also has a nice twist, where Kanto uses pandesal instead of a muffin. If there was a branch near me I'd literally eat here everyday. Food: 5/5

Experience: We had dined in at Kanto Freestyle since we wanted to eat breakfast at 2 am. Luckily, kanto freestyle in poblacion was still open. The Ambiance is nice. Very Filipino-ish. And the location of the restaurant was really private. So if you wanted to hang out with someone with the intention of getting to know someone while having a good breakfast, then this place is for you. i can also see families hanging out here. The place was really windy since it looks like a nipa hut with wooden chairs. Its chilly at around 2 am. The crews are great but, I just expected them to offer their helping hands during taking group photos. Lol i havent heard anyone offering their hand to take pics even if they have seen someone getting a hard time holding their phones for groufies.
I recommend their peanut butter and banana pancakes. Their pancakes were super fluffy and the peanut butter really compliment the taste of banana.
I've always wanted to go and eat here since I've heard a lot of good reviews about this place, and I was not disappointed. The price is so affordable but the food tastes real good. I will definitely try the silogs when I go back.

A hidden gem in the heart of Makati. A good selection of menu items. A very healthy serving size which makes good value for the money. Another must-try in the city.
I try to do a staycation when I can. And I normally stay at hotels within the Poblacion area as it's a walk away from work. And when I wake up, Kanto Freestyle Breakfast is my normal go-to place. Even years ago, when I lived nearby, I would dine-in, even in the very early morning hours.
I like everything they have. My food orders change, depending on what I am craving for. And if it's 2 dishes, then I order 2 dishes. LOL! 😂😋😅 In most cases if I order 2 dishes, one is savory, while the other is sweet.
Food: 5.0 - Food that satisfies!
Price: 5.0 - Affordable!
Service: 4.0 - Friendly, but it may take a few waves before someone comes to the table.
Ambience: 4.5 - Not as cramped as the other branches.
I might go there later. Thank goodness it's open 24hrs and near work.

I used to work in Ortigas and, my workmates and I frequent their Kapitolyo branch aftershift for breakfast. Stayed in Makati Ave for a bit and was happy to find out that there is a branch of Kanto nearby where I used to live.
I have since visited more than once here and it never failed me ever. Not even once.
◾Spicy Kanto Fried Rice - This is a staple order for me. It has everything on it, you dont really have to buy ulam anymore. It's that fried rice your mom (or dad. Or lola. Or lolo.) used to cook for you with anything and everything they find inside the ref. And ya'll know how much you loved that.
◾Bacon and Eggs Pancakes - Super fluffy pancakes with generous amount of eggs and 2 slices of bacon. No complaints!
◾Tapa - i believe they advertise this as angus beef. And yes, meat was tender. It was good. Though, small serving.
◾Danggit - I just love danggit. I have nothing bad to say about this.
◾Vigan Longganisa - meh. Pretty sure this aint homemade but, they could get/serve better than this. Also, 4 pieces for how much it is was kind of a rip off.
◾Honey Garlic Chicken - Big slab of sweet and garlicky chicken. Very sulit.
◾Berry Pancakes - Small. Nakakabitin.
I guess the only downside I can say is that their ala carte "ulam" servings were small and, "nakakabitin sya". But the place is clean, their wait staff are courteus but were at times unattentive even though the place wasn't that busy. Not really anything would hold me back from coming back here.
New Zealand Tapa was the best. They serve complimentary desserts as well. The only problem that needs to improve is the outside dining, a bunch of mosquitoes almost ruined my day.
Who does not want a breakfast all day food? This place also has an option if you are on a keto diet (they serve separate viand and just choose your side dish).

We got here by 3AM early Sunday morning so it was easy to park. Kanto was still busy eventhough it was that late.
I got the New Zealand Beef Tapa (Php150). Really good. Bug serving of beef tapa, rice and 2 eggs. I had my eggs poached just to see how it is. The poached eggs were a little overcooked, I like my poached egg with yolks that are still runny. But it was a really good deal.
I tried a little of the waffles and Tinapang Galunggong. I'd go for the tinapa. The waffle was just ok.
Overall, I'd go back to Kanto for some freestyle breakfast.
After trying the food from the Kanto Freestyle in the Taft area, I thought I’d give this one a try. The Honey Garlic Chicken was actually very good, especially when you consider that it’s only 138 pesos. I tried some of my friend’s Beef Tapa too. It was nice and tasty.
Always my go-to place after drinks around Poblacion. They're open 24 hours! Try the New Zealand Angus tapa and the honey glazed chicken! Staff service is okay. No air-conditioning because it's outdoor dining.

One of our favorite go-to place for all-day breakfast. Our usual orders here would be the NZ tapa, honey garlic chicken and the crispy pork belly for our mains. The ube and white chocolate pancake is something you should definitely try at this place because it is heavenly.

This place offers a variety of authentic filipino breakfast dishes. It is cheap and filling and the service is very fast. I was just underwhelmed by the iced latte.

Been enjoying the food here. Most of their food on their menu are SUPERB! We also tried deliveries just to satisfy our cravings. Their NZ Beef Tapa and their Honey Garlic chicken, a MUST TRY! Super yummy. And for sure, you will definitely want to try it again and again and again.
Nice service, nice ambience! I ordered their famous Honey Garlic Chicken, it was way too sweet and heavy for me. Couldn’t taste the garlic too even after I dipped the chicken to the sauce. I’ll definitely come back and try other stuff!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Staff got my order wrong (ordered daing and got served danggit) so I asked for it to be replaced and they served it in 10 mins. Our server was superb. I wish we had more waiters like him. Iced choco reminds me of chocolate milk I used to have as a kid. My favorites are the champorado, daing na bangus, and iced choco :)

Good! When I first tried kanto freestyle at Tomas morato it was good. I was shocked because its so cheap! I tried the vigan longanisa before and when I went to have breakfast at poblacion branch I tried the tapa and it was so good. And the champorado is to die for
3 words: HONEY. GARLIC. CHICKEN. I would sell my SO for a nightt for a serving of this fried poultry wonder. You must try this, I swear. Sadly, it's not always available due too popular demand (yeah, people like me can basically just live off it, sorry!)
Just. Three. Words. Honey. Garlic. Chicken. It’s godlike, the food of the boss, where the boss is you. I always come here after it. After the meal be sure to drink the scramble to provoke the inner batang pinoy inside yourself. Fairly priced, works 24 hours! On the less positive side, the Honey Garlic Chicken is not always available.
Attentive staff, fast serving time, good portion size. Overall, great place to go for great breakfast selections if you’re on a budget (and If you don’t mind dining al fresco.)

Kanto Freestyle Breakfast is a 24-hour breakfast place that's well-worth your money. It's fully customizable with options for those who want the Western and Filipino classics. My ultimate favorite is the salmon egg benedict which costs only P150 but you won't be disappointed by their other offerings.

Food here offers quite a variety. They have added a twist to some classic Filipino dishes, and I love how they mix and match the flavors. The price is very reasonable, food tastes good. I always opt for having the food on the go because it gets too crowded at times if not full. Place should improve on its ventilation, you will have no issue if you dine at night, but at day or noon it gets really hot since it is an open area. Staff should smile more often, they look tired and they show it to the customers that they look unhappy, kind of affects the overall dining experience.
My only comment about the food is that sometimes the Fried chicken gets way too oily and greasy, the garlic rice and the eggs too, too much oil. Pancake recipe can also be improved.
Please order their beef tapa, vigan longganisa, and tuyo with kesong puti. Their blended coffees are good too! 😋👌
This is actually a meal from Kanto’s newly opened Leon Guinto branch, near CSB. Had vintage tapa and oreo butter pancakes to share. I have to say, Kanto rarely disappoints—arguably one of my most favorite Tapa meals around Metro Manila. Generous portions, good food, good ambience, friendly staff—good dining experience without breaking the bank.

Been here several times already my favorite dishes are the new zealand beef tapa and the ube and white chocolate ganaches pancakes.
On my last visit, tried their chocnut champorado for a change. It tasted great as well.
The pancakes are really the reason why I love this place. Iced Scramble is also a must try. This is the only place where I’d dared to try ice scramble and it taste good!
It’s a sweltering night when we got here. The staff are nice enough to place the electric fans near us (read: this place has no AC) so that we can dine comfortably. I appreciate that we didn't have to wait that long for our food to arrive and I can tell that the dishes are freshly cooked.
Orders we loved: Spanish Sardines Tempura (P110), Deep Fried Oreos (P70), Champorado (P110), Pancakes (P80-110). The Spanish Sardines Tempura is a hit for me. It's simple yet tasty. The pancakes are not the fluffy kind but they are good as well!
Underwhelming food: Vigan Longganisa (P110) and Churros with Hot Tsokolate (P100). The churros’ texture is almost similar to bread; the tsokolate was a letdown.
This place is known for its unpretentious vibe but tasty and well-presented food. Will definitely be back.
I always order for Honey Garlic Chicken, simply the best. Staff are attentive and fast. One thing i dont like about the place is the location though, loud jeepneys are storming every now and then making it very hard for me and my girlfriend talked to each other.
They have a wide assortment of breakfast meals available all day. All of their food are value for money and very filling. Quite basic but it will definitely fill you up.

What we love about Kanto is that their menu is just your typical simple “kanto” or pambahay (what you eat at home) breakfast meal but with a “sushal” (classy) twist! That is why perhaps most of us come back to Kanto because of that familiar simple taste with a little add-on that makes it special and memorable.

• Hash brown topped with poached egg and tomato pesto, just a normal hash brown dish but that presentation and tomato pesto brings it to another level
• Spam and eggs, cuz who doesn’t love spam right?
• Chocnut Champorado with tuyo, perfect combination of sweet and salty! You can really taste the chocnut and goya chocolate in that “chocolate porridge”, our fave comfort food
• Oreo Cookie Butter Pancakes, ang sarap ng pancakes! Dagdagdan pa ng oreo cookies, omg! Must-try!
• Tuyo Flakes with Kesong Puti, one of our usual orders since we love the combination of those salty tuyo with the cheesy and earthy flavor of that kesong puri
• Crispy Corned beef, a unique yummy twist on our boring crispy corned beef, sarap and the presentation is on point
• Daing na Bangus, as one of the healthy options

The La Salle branch is one of those pretty neat branches. It has a second floor which is quite roomy compared to the first floor. It also has a VIP room which you can rent for your private events! :) Green Archers are so lucky they now have this awesome branch very near them. I am not sure about their other parking spaces, but the parking space at the front of the store lacks parking spaces. Overall, this new branch is my fave branch yet :)

My go-to whenever I have a craving for pancakes/waffles. Food here is good and worth its price. The ones that look/sound new or weird to you? You have to try them because they’ll blow your mind. First food here was their crispy cornbeef and I loved it!
Only thing that kept me from rating 5 is the service. It’s pretty slow but if you see the amount of customers, you’d understand. Place is always packed.
Finally had a chance to dine at Kanto Breakfast! I heard and seen it through my friends. They offer breakfast meals whole day! As people say, they serve their dishes in a fancy way. Who would’ve thought that this gourmet-ish kind of plating costs less than 200 pesos! Their pancakes and waffles are a must try! Also love Honey Garlic Chicken! 😬
I just love that I can always run to Kanto Freestyle when I'm in need of comfort food. Not only is their food worth craving for, they're also really affordable. I just bought a cup of latte for only Php 50.00 and my caffeine needs are already satisfied. Their bacon and mushroom omelet only costs Php 88.00 and it's way cheaper than most omelets I've had but the taste is very competitive. After all, you can never go wrong with cheese and bacon.
Their restaurants always have this "carinderia" vibe but with a more sophisticated touch. Perfect for a dine out with family and friends.

After eating here for the 4th time. Its time to write a review! Kanto Freestyle a haven for breakfast lovers! Imagine a bfast store open 24 hours? Now that's a store to good to pass up. If you want to enjoy your experience here kindly order either their Vigan Longanisa (P110), Chocnut Champorado (P90) which would be perfect if they used sticky rice! I wouldn't mind paying extra money for that and last but not the least, my fave dish, the one, the only Honey Garlic Chicken (P110) which you could really taste the honey!
We stayed at LUBD hostel for the holyweek vacation and this resto is super near our place, walking distance lang.
I had a hard time finding it first because the front gate was covered by a tent that would be used for the procession since it is situated near a church.
