This is my 6th day in Makati Diamond Residences and I'm loving every minute of it. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. You can really tell that they take pride in their work and love their jobs. Service is impeccable! A little overkill on the Security detail at entrance but understandable. Albeit a bit intimidating at times. Just love the 4th floor where the lap pool and gym are located. Had some Mojitos at the bar but a bit weak. The bartender/ reception attendant who made my drinks should smile more. He's the only one who didn't seem hospitable. The room is beautiful, love the ambiance and Earth tones decor. Love the modern and convenient straight line design. I applaud the interior decorator. The room size is ideal and segregation of space is very practical. Love the kitchenett and wet bar. May I suggest a dish towel, so we can dry the dishes when we wash them. Or provide paper towels and coasters in the kitchenett. The room is cleaned very well each day. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. I try to tip every day when I see them. You have a gem of a hotel, your location is to die for. Across the street from shopping mall Greenbelt, you could never go wrong. I work in the hospitality industry and I am very particular about hotel and service and you have managed to impress me. Please continue to provide excellent service and keep up cleanliness always. You can put to shame any major hotels in the US with the quality of service you provide. I hope to stay here again the next time I visit Manila. Thank you for providing a nice home away from home.
We are currently staying at Makati Diamond Residences and are very impressed with the hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is great. Room sizes vary to price but my wife and child are very comfortable in a 42 square room.
We have extended our stay because of the experience and because of the close proximity to the city and surrounds.
I can unreservedly recommend the Makati Diamond Residences to anyone
Just had a Holyweek staycation here and although the hotel wasn't as big as other 5 stars hotels in Makati/ Manila that we stayed in, we really enjoyed our time here. The members of hotel staff were polite and helpful- from housekeeping, bell boys, security, waiters to the top management. Room we had was big and clean (we got the studio type), and with complete toiletries and freebies (soda, bread, beer etc). Great buffet breakfast selection, and we had a delicious dinner at Alfred's with our friends. Really great for family bonding. Pool was very clean. They also prepared holiday activities for the kids. My only issue was the smell of the K9 dogs in the lobby- it wasn't very welcoming. I think you should do something about it. Great that you have K9 dogs for security but maybe you should feed them something that wouldn't make them smell that much? Other than that, it was perfect. The epitome of great customer service. We will be back.
Since we’re already decided that we will be holding our wedding and reception in Makati, we want our wedding preparations to be in a location close to both. So we inquired in different hotels in Makati. After comparing all the rates and details, we decided to stay in Makati Diamond Residences. Why? Because some of our guests will also stay in the same hotel, MDR is just steps away from Greenbelt. When we had our ocular, MDR is fairly new and very well maintained, and when you get their suite, you get access to the Club Lounge, where you can eat snacks in the afternoon for free. I also love the ambiance and their lobby is big. The day we’re checking out, we realized that we’re so tired to bring home the things, so we extended our stay for another day, and luckily they have a Christmas promo for a Deluxe Room for as far as I can remember. We got 2 1-BR Suite, 1 1-BR Suite and extended our stay in a Deluxe Room. I found their breakfast downstairs better than the one at Club Lounge. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Their uniform also looks good. My husband even submitted a letter to the management to commend their staff. I was just quite sad because we weren't able to use their swimming pool because we're busy and tired. I hope next time we will be able to use it. This hotel is highly recommended.
Truly the place is like a second home. I was impressed by the cleanliness, the staff were very courteous and facilities were well maintained. The rooms were very spacious will surely come back.

Superb , Exceptional, Marvelous ! We highly recommend this hotel .! Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spotless clean ..., facilities are truly amazing . We love the club lounge and the 29th floor breakfast venue . My family enjoyed every minute of our stay there!
My first time in Makati Diamond Residences for a forum of heavy inputs and insights. And I was like carried in a carousel while carrying the heavy loads. Makati Diamond Residences comforted me during my stay. I would love to be back here and recommend to others who are looking for a temporary a home.
Worth every cent. Can't ask for more. Wish all hotels I paid decent amount of money for were like this.

Best place and service! Just opposite of all the malls! The area is super safe and super clean! The service is beyond expectation for real. The waiter named IAN for breakfast was great, I was asking about the mango. Just asking. Voila! I got it ! It was a perfect service for me.
This hotel exceeded my parents' expectations! What a great place to celebrate my Mom's 64th Birthday and Parents' 43rd wedding anniversary. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
I love their suite room (that was our room last night) the food (you gotta try their version of tapsilog! Its love!) The customer service and the location are thumbs up for me as well. Not to mention the hotel rates no wonder we keep coming back to MDR

Paella, Truffle Pasta, and Burger are the favorites!
But the Salted Caramel Ice Cream is a MUST! It’s the signature Homemade Ice Cream of Makati Diamond and Diamond Hotel and it’s not always available so make sure you ask the waiter immediately. You’ll always crave for this once you’ve tried it. 😉

We decided to have our date here for valentines. At that time, a la carte orders aren’t available so we opt for their buffet.
The selection is a bit small for the price you pay. I wish there would have been various food selections like pasta. Also, they just have 3 desserts to choose from.
But aside from the selection, the foods were great. The roasted angus ribeye was juicy. The lamb was tasty and did went well with rosemary. The prawns was to die for. The sautéd mushrooms and eggplant was cooked perfectly.
I just didn’t like the caldereta rice because It didn’t compliment the taste from the rest of the food. Although the bagnet strips that went with it was crunchy, there was nothing special about it.
Their cold cuts and salad was also good especially the Jamon Serrano and the raspberry vinaigrette. As well as the cheese fondue. It was so light and airy. On the other hand, the tomato soup needs improvement because for me it tasted a bit bland.
We also availed their unli alcohol and wine for 500 pesos. As an alcoholic I can say that the mojito and smash tasted good.
For the service, the waiters as well as the manager were approachable and accommodating. They also set up a rose for every table.
Well, there’s a new buffet that just started last Friday! It’s called the Cheese & Charcuterie Buffet, and it’s at Alfred, the in-house restaurant of the Makati Diamond Residences. Makati Diamond Residences is a relatively new luxury hotel / serviced apartments located along Legazpi Street, just across from Greenbelt 1.
The buffet is only available for a limited time, and features grilled Raclette!
Perceptive palates will be in for a solid treat when they visit Alfred at Makati Diamond Residences every Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., from July 27 to September 28. Enjoy an amazing an astounding Cheese and Charcuterie Buffet for only P1,800 net per person. They have recently introduced a grazing buffet menu as part of their banquet offers, and the cheese and charcuterie is part of the variety of what they have to offer. I am a big fan of bubbly and I could drink it all night if paired with some good tapas. And a homey hotel in Makati seems to be my new favorite with its remarkably great spread perfect for a relaxing night after moving around the city to find the perfect gifts this coming Christmas.
Hello, Makati Diamond Residences.

I love to travel every now and then, but when it comes to unwinding, I'm more than happy to just enjoy a "Staycation" in the city. One place that I highly recommend staying at, is one of the newest in Makati, and is strategically situated right in front of the Greenbelt Complex, making it possibly the best location in Manila. I'm talking about Makati Diamond Residences, one of the most impressive hotels in the country today.
started the day right on our anniversary and tried the breakfast buffet of Makati Diamond Residences. It was an amazing experience, elegance interior and world class food! worth the price really, not too much selection but come on, it's breakfast so for me the menu is ok.
if you happen to be in the Greenbelt area at around midnight, and all restaurants are closed, please proceed to Alfred's Makati Diamond Residences. I had enough of Mcdo that i decided to gift myself with a decent meal after a tiring day, while billeted in the hotel. I ordered Hainanese chicken and it was delicious! The chicken was tender, the rice was so flavorful, but the free clear soup that came with it–was too salty, that I had it returned. They fixed it, and it was much better. I grade the Hainanese chicken:4.5
In the morning, I tried the buffet breakfast. It was not as bountiful as served in other hotels, and I kinda missed that. Rate this as fair. 3.0
Ambiance is excellent, and so was service. Consistently friendly, attentive, efficient crew —whether midnight or morning.
Had a reservation for their cocktail buffet and it was one of the better decisions I have made when it comes to promos. Service was excellent, although I felt sorry for the guy that prepares the pasta and the other guy stationed at the queso and jamon section as there was a constant flow of orders. The caipirinha was a surprise for me and I think I prefer it over mojito now. I just wish they have more wine selections as red was limited to cabernet sauvignon and white was a chablis. But it was a great way to cap off a rainy Friday night.
Unlike most of the reviewers of Alfred, we went here late night (actually early morning) 'cos we didn't want our Saturday night to end too early.
Had a couple of bourbon-based cocktails - Boulevardier with bourbon, aperol and sweet vermouth and East New York Flip with bourbon, honey syrup and egg yolk. The latter was good if you're into milky, eggy cocktails. I didn't' much care for the former- would have preferred an Old Fashioned instead.
We had the Beet Soup with Curry Essence which was ok and the Slow Cooker Beef Cheeks in Cabernet Sauce with Pomme Puree. Though they did a commendable job of making the cheeks soft, I didn't much care for the taste of the meat.
Should try their champagne buffet if it's still on offer
I managed to return back to one of my new favorite spots to work and grab a quick midnight snack. I managed to order their Reuben sandwich even though I'm expecting hotel prices, and yes it didn't disappoint. Enough flavors with fries on the side to give that good feel of eating heartily on a rainy Saturday night. I love as well the very hands on prompt service that they provided, it is something worth paying attention to and would give customers a good impression on how their staff is trained.
I would definitely go back to this place and try their brunch buffets and Makati Diamond residences is one of those hidden gems in the Metro Manila area
Nice and quiet, condusive for business meetings or get together with friends. Food is good though a bit pricey as compared to other hotel lobby cafés. Will definitely good back to try other items on the menu.
We were lucky enough to have availed of their champagne everyday weekend brunch promo.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience at Alfred. The spread was limited but every dish was delectable. Most notable were the prawns, the seabass, the raclette, the cochinillo-best paired with pinakbet rice and the angus steak.
They definitely showed quality over quantity. (But hey everything was unlimited including champagne 🍾)
The only dessert we had was their ice cream and man, one round of one scoop each of 3 flavors was not enough. Best hotel buffet ice cream I've tried!
Service:
They were all attentive and all smiles. It was like they actually have thought ahead of what you need even before you say it.
Overall, best hotel brunch buffet I've had(plus of course including the value which was only 1000php per head when I felt like what I've eaten should have been thrice the price haha).
The unlimited champage deal at Alfred's is such a steal for Php850 nett. They had very good selection of Champagne that can cater to both new Champagne drinkers and seasoned enthusiasts and two premium Spanish Jamon - Iberico and Bellota.
The space is small, but very elegant and intimate (read: Jazz music, mood lighting) best for small groups of three and no more than five per table. The service is attentive but unhurried, leaving you to enjoy your drinks and company.
The menu selections of light tapas and small plates are fantastic for noshing while sampling a number of French Champagne and house cocktails. It was a simple yet fantastic spread and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Alfred's is the perfect place to spend some quality time quaffing great bubbles with a little nosh on side. Make sure you take advantage of their Champagne Buffet before it's gone!!

I treated my sister to participate in the #ChampagneEveryday promo with me. Unfortunately the weekend brunch was sold out already so we went with Tapas and Champagne buffet php850/person nett.
There were four types of jamons (jamon serrano gran reserva montevado, jamon iberico, jamon iberico bellota and extramadura.) The brighter the redness the saltier. These piggies only eat acorns thus its deliciousness. For the first round of drinks I washed down my first plate of jamons with red wine. The meatball pasta and truffle cheese pasta was delicious too! The cheese pasta goes well with their Delamotte champagne which I had 3 glasses of. (Sulit) hehe For dessert there's ice cream and cake. I had the limoncello tiramisu, so so good! Such a cute dessert!
They could improve on the service of their waiters, a couple of waiters just forgot what we asked for and never delivered.
I went for waitlist on their holiday brunch. Fingers crossed hihi!
Alfred at the Makati Diamond Residences is Legaspi Village's secret no more.
The hotel itself has been operating quietly for a year now, accepting functions and business events. Alfred, which operates as an all-day restaurant (open 24 hours, people), is the small lobby-level restaurant that can, with loungey round table cubicles, tables for couples and big groups alike, and partitioned areas in the back.
It was the start of the month when we caught wind of their weekday Champagne Buffet (P850 net!) and Champagne Brunch (P1,000, or P2,000 on Easter Weekend, also net!).
It is a limited deal for a reason. On weeknights, it runs from 6-9pm, after which it reverts to regular menu service. The promo itself runs till the weekend of March, into Easter.
The weekend brunch is admittedly a better deal, with a wider spread, including a meat carvery (lamb, roast beef). We went for the weeknight buffet, which when we visited had three kinds of champagne, and two kinds of jamon from Spain, provided by Txanton, a wine bar and deli purveyor in P. Tamo, Makati, and managed by the former F&B manager of Vask Manila.
Normally there are four hams to choose from, and I'm sad to say they were out of Jamon Iberico Bellota, which I looked forward to trying. Nevertheless, we sampled sumptuous hand-carved Jamon Iberico from Extremadura and Jamon Serrano Gran Reserva Montenevado from Segovia. The spread on this evening had lamb kofta in tomato sauce, pintxos with ham, sliced melon, veggie fritters, and tagliatelle cooked lightly in olive oil, butter, and bechamel. Many diners smartly laid copious slices of the nutty, milky Iberico, and the delicately dry and salty Serrano on top of the pasta.
We also enjoyed free-flowing Champagne Brut, Champagne Extra Brut, and Rosé Champagne, Chablis, a very drinkable Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon, and as noted by other reviewers, a number of trays with giveaway appetizers (truffled fries with soft boiled egg) and lipsmacking cocktails (mojitos and Margaritas).
Juice is passed out if you are thirsty for non liquor drinks, and a limoncello tiramisu was served for those who wanted it. Ask, and they will bring it.
It was a lovely evening with piano bar entertainment. Alfred is small and intimate, and I felt as we were leaving that we had just come out of a private party.
Alfred is not a restaurant, as you will have read from a few internet press, this is a buffet bar which incidentally serves quality tapas, and since there are limited sit-down tables, it operates a strict bookings policy.
In the early days of summer, we finally got to Alfred's early enough to squeeze into an unoccupied corner by the buffet table, naah we actually did an advance booking just to be sure that we get a good space for three. It was a warm day, but it was warmer inside. Space was so limited, I ate this meal standing up, rubbing bums with the women beside me, our bodies becoming increasingly sweatier, our laughs increasingly louder as the alcohol levels in our bloodstreams climbed and our hands getting increasingly dirtier as we tucked into the wave of small dishes. Alfred's offer an introductory promo for the month of February - a smashing P850 nett/pax for champagne, wine & jamon all you can! Yes, you read it right. Can it get any better? Yes!
The night of our visit, a selection of two jamon iberico are offered - Extremedura & Bellota. Tapas are something that’s coming into (Manila's) fashion these days, it’s so tender, fragrant and rich in flavour that aside from some heat, little else is needed. These jamons were served pretty much naked, but melons are on the spread too for that traditional prosciutto á mellona liking. I got to sample all the champagne selection - Besserat de Bellefon, Jean Vesselle, Delamotte, and Pierre Peters; but Vesselle simply won my heart too many times!
Make no mistake, the godfather of tapas is here, but this is merely a herald for greater things to come, the flashes of brillance at Alfred were inspiring, and I really cannot wait to see what sort of grand design Makati Diamond Residences is planning for the sustainability of this resto. I do wonder if this is set up as a testing ground to tinker with all the fundamentals before the official roll-out of which market positioning it would like to maintain. Whether this is a mere incidental observation, or completely on purpose, I for one think that the kitchen is headed down a very exciting path.
TIPS: Dessert is indeed part of the buffet but you have to ask the servers to whip 'em for you - ours was Limoncello Tiramisu. You may also need room for the signature Truffle Fries with Poached Eggs as an in-between appetizer on the house. Cocktails and freshly squeezed juices are served too! Hurry and book a table now before the promo runs out!
Fun night with my co-zomatitas! #ZomatitosxZomatitas #TheFoodCrawlers
Get in quick!!! The weeknight 6pm - 9pm all you can drink French Champagne (and some cocktails) with unlimited Jamon off the bone for only 850php! Will only last till the end of Feb.
We found this on spot.ph and went to check it out last night. Makati Diamond Residence is across the road from Greenbelt 5 walking in you're greeted by an army of smiling staff members. We booked a table for 11 and we got the "presidential -like" table behind the carver, perfect setting for our friend's going away party.
The champagne is free flowing we had the Dalamotte all night with their version of a caiparinha/mojito cocktail. Both lubricatingly delicious! You just have to remind them top up the champagne glass to the top so that they dont have to keep walking around. hehehe ;)
At the tapas bar we were indulged with a selection of Jamon! Yum yum! A carver stood there all night cutting up fresh pieces of delicious ribbons of glistening piggy. It was the best!!! Trust me we kept him busy all night. They also had melon pieces to accompany the jamon and seafood croquttes, merguez sausage and napolitana penne pasta prepared on the spot.
During the night they suprised us with random cocktails all delicious except for the red one, they called it a bloody mary but it was more like a campari. Very tart and bitter. Just watch out for that one if you're not used to that flavour profile.
They also served us an amazing truffle fries with jamon and poached eggs!!! This was a very impressive dish indeed I'd go back over and over again just for this.
Overall an amazing experience staff attentive, food drinks and ambience top notch and only 850php for maximum indulgence. Will certainly take advantage of this before the offer ends.
Great value on champagne buffet night! For only 850 pesos we had endless champagne, various cocktails and plenty of food. From 150 yr old meat to home made seafood croquettes and pasta the food was all tasty. Then to our surprise they even bought out individually served desserts of lemon cake which was a little cold but the flavours were good. The actual building Makati Diamond is beautiful, the chairs were super comfy and the service was up there with the best Manila has to offer. Overall I would recommend going on one of there buffet deal nights as it is great value. (If you don't eat meat maybe go on the weekend as they serve more seafood then so you'll have more choice)
