Their cocktails are one of the best that I have had. Definitely a must try! Their place is quite cozy, perfect for date nights. My only issue with them is that they have limited food selections to choose from. Definitely a must try for drinks and cocktails, but go eat somewhere first before going there.
One of the best speakeasy that I've been to. Although the place is really pricey, like really priecey; you get peace and quiet in return. If you're like me who would rather cradle a glass of Jim Beam neat at the bar and just be alone and have Ella Fitzgerald on the background then this place is for you!
Just near the corner of Salcedo Street. Just look for the braille signage and knock on the door.
Cocktails ranges from PhP 395 to PhP 700.
Tried White Daiquiri (PhP 395) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and Kowloon (PhP 395) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Liked Kowloon better I think because of the coconut flavor 🤤
This place is amazing. I found my haven. They play jazz music which is so delightful. I am a fan of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald to name a few. The cocktails are good though the price is steep. It is worth it. I will definitely go back.
An awesome little speakeasy that's hidden in an unassuming building near the hotel strips. The establishment has a list of rules for its patrons and this adds to the amazing vibe of the place.
The drinks all sound delicious and the 3 we chose were smashing!
The atmosphere here sets the place off. Its small and cosy. Friendly staff and just a cool little place.
Found in an unassuming building along Salcedo St. is this speakeasy that has been (and still is!) our go to watering hole for the past couple of years.
The first speakeasy I've ever been to and this was in 2012. The interiors, mood, music and impeccable service is a great base for the true star of this place: their cocktails.
Do not be afraid to experiment and discuss with the bartenders (my favorite is Joey) what your alcoholic preferences are - they are trained very well and will hand you a drink that will pretty much wow you.
Prices are quite steep but still reasonable considering you're getting a customized drink made with the finest ingredients.
Don't forget to make a reservation and abide by their rules (it's written on the menu). Also worth noting are their food offerings: the Truffle Fries and Shepherds Pie are lush.
I was surprised by the different cocktails they have available, an interesting mix of flavors in a speakeasy environment. I went there with a visitor and She liked it however the place only had 1 more table occupied and the ambiance was too smooth and easy for our mood that day. It's a place I recommend but be aware that it will not be a real speakeasy (Please read: Quiet) experience.
Perfect place for dates as it's really quiet. The cocktails tasted like pure shots but I'm not complaining, it's a bit pricey but overall great place for people who don't like clubs and prefer to talk the whole night.
This is one of the best speakeasy bar to cap the night, to catch up, to cast those bad vibe of the day or to kill time. I've tried other speakeasy bars and I deem that this is the most private and exclusive. Plus, the ambience is associated to a Prohibition era bars.
I usually order from the bar list but this time I tried the Bartender's choice. Our steward approached us and introduced himself. I described my mood and inspiration for my cocktail. In any minute, my drink came. It is well-prepared and so good!
Without a doubt, this is the best speakeasy in the metro. It's the perfect place for conversations with old friends, potential lovers, and anything in between. Blind Pig is home to the friendliest, classiest, and smartest bartenders, as well as the best cocktails in town. Ask for a glass of Gold Rush. You're welcome.
Love the menu! The ambiance was really lovely. There was a naughty/romantic/intimate feel about the whole set up of the place. Definitely one of my favorite hidden gems in makati
Great atmosphere, great drinks. The Godfather is a man's drink, crisp yet flavorful. It's a good place to make a deal or have a rendezvous.
Wow! Fits the speakeasy concept to a T! No signage, really dark inside ...... but mixes the most amazing cocktails. Just give the bartender a hint of what you feel like drinking that night ..... and voila ... he comes up with the perfect cocktail.
I told the bartender I wanted to drink amaretto that night. He asked what base, I said vodka. He made Almond 42. With 42 Below, the vodka from New Zealand and Disaronno Amaretto, lime juice mixed with orange juice. Not many bars in Manila would even have that brand of vodka and amaretto. A short drink which tasted superb with just the right potency. This bar doesn't skimp on its alcohol content!
We ended up having 4 drinks each in 3 hours!
For eats, we had crudites with blue cheese dip and truffle fries. Both were good.
The drinks are expensive (PhP 370 a shot), but well worth the price
No reviews. The mystery of this place is part of the foodie's journey and must experience it. Although the misty shroud that it has makes it more enticing for the customer, I'll leave it at that.
Seriously this place is really something. They'll serve you drinks based on what you feel like and they will surprise you with the best cocktail drink ever! A friend of mine introduce this place to me and I did get a chance to go back and hide from Makati!! Lol must try!!!
Blind pig is as much about the atmosphere as the drinks. It's a speakeasy... So expect darkness, high prices and quiet. Which is great for dates or if you just want some alone time.
If there's a drink to try, it's the smokey old *******- It's a visual feast that you can smell and taste, also it suits the look for the place the best.
At the end of the day, its the cocktails prepared based on your preference counts most... From the base till the last bitter, its all personal...
It was only a matter of time before we'd pick up on the speakeasy trend; Blind Pig was probably the first or second to do so.
This bar is a few steps away from Stockton, in the same building where Amoroma used to operate. Ring a doorbell, wait (give them a minute). We were let into a very dark room with candlelit tables and booths, with Billie Holiday tunes playing the background.
One can tell that by day and with the lights on, the decor is probably nothing special (oh, those tiles...), but there is interesting food on the menu, and the drinks are stiff enough to match the prices. I liked mine.
Definitely worth trying at least once. Probably not good for big groups. Since space is limited, book in advance, or they'll shoo you away when someone who did book comes to claim your spot.
This place is unusual. Inspired by the speak easy concept of the US 1920-30s, this place is meant for you to truly enjoy your drink. Dim lights, everything under a candle, served by name.
Great experience. Strongly recommended
