I’ve been here during their first year of operations. I loved everything especially the Pad Thai and Catfish Salad. I would definitely go back to eat here again. Been missing their food!

All restaurants in the milkway building are so good. Pricey yet so good. And just a walking place to where I live every time I stay in makati. So Azuthai is one of my got to thai places. Since people’s palace quality change, and i figured this thai restaurant, this has been my favorite. Really good food, service and the staff are very attentive.

This is my ultimate favorite place to order Thai food. Their Pad Thai is my daughter’s favorite. My favorite is their Massaman Curry which has no equal anywhere. I eat it with the fried catfish salad and rice. All the food there is sooo yummy.

Our ordered:
- Azuthai Appetizer Sampler (5/5) P595
One plate there is fish cake, shrimp roll & thai shrimp roll, all have 2 pcs. Love the sauce for shrimp roll! However the fish cake not quite good taste.

- Chicken Fried rice (5/5)
Good for 1-2 person
Super yummy fried rice!

- Shrimp Padthai (3/5)
Good for 3 person
A bit disappointed with the taste, I already have high expectation it’s should be good taste but it’s too sweet and not really original padthai taste.

- Chicken Pandan (4/5)
5 pcs chicken tight (small)

- Tom Yum Goong (4/5)
Good for 3 person
We can choose the level of the spiciness (none, mild or spicy), I tried the mild and it’s good enough, unfortunately the filling not much at all.

- Mango sticky rice with ice cream (5/5) P295
Good for 1-2 person

- Thai ice tea (4/5) P100
Good taste. No provides pitcher.

Overall the taste is good (wisely choose the best one!) and for the price is expensive enough.
Ambiance is elegant and comfortable. There is 2 private rooms for 10-12 persons.
The server is quite friendly, but they lack of the service time.

Yam Sam O (Pomelo Salad) - best I've ever had.. balance of sweet, salty, sour, everthing works well together. The only downside I can think of is the price, almost 600php for a small serving.

Prawn Cakes - really fresh

Khao Soi - a bit of a disappointment, creamy, well seasoned, has enough heat but it lacked flavor plus chicken was tough

One of the quartet of premium restaurants located at the corner of Arnaiz and Paseo de Roxas, Azuthai stands out as a destination for sumptuous and authentic high-end Thai cuisine. Even selective eaters like my wife found plenty to enjoy here, from the spare ribs to the pandan chicken, while I scarfed down servings of pad thai and a Thai take on crispy pata. Admittedly some of the dishes taste like they’ve been fine tuned for the Filipino palate, but there’s no complaining about the quality and style of cooking on display. Service is also polite, receptive and unobtrusive, which is ideal for the setting. Lastly, interiors are warm and elegant - great for family gatherings or a date night.

Why not a 5? Mainly the lack of a wow factor or some truly exceptional dish in spite of the great overall experience. Still, with a drought of good Thai restaurant options, this is a solid pick.

Azuthai is a lovely place that serves authentic tasting Thai food with attentive and friendly staff. Every dish is well balanced and very tasty. Loved everything but my favorite dishes are: fried spring rolls, catfish salad, duck salad, pad Thai, masaman curry, chicken fried rice, and the Thai halo halo.

Azuthai takes Thai cuisine in a whole different level.  Prices may be something you need to allot budget for, but they are very much worth it given the ambiance and the food. It was a Thai friend who recommended this restaurant for us to try, so I guess that really says a lot right?

Why 5 stars?
It was a "soulful" experience dining here in Azuthai. Ingredients seems really sourced well with how the flavors came out. There are subtle differences, but these pile up into something that differentiates each dish from other Thai restaurants.

Food Recommendations:
Massaman Lamb Curry (P695), Pad Thai with Prawns (P495), Thai Milk Tea (P100) and Tako Desserts (P175)

We had their crispy duck salad and their Tom kha gai to start, the duck salad was a pretty small serving, but it tasted good. The duck might have been better if it was a little less crisp, but overall it's good. Their dishes are generally good, though I don't know if any particular thing stands out as extremely notable. Their pad Thai is good, their curries are good though they could stand to be a bit thicker, their Jasmine rice is perfectly cooked and is a joy to eat. This is a solid albeit upscale Thai place that you can definitely go to on nice occasions.

After an inordinate amount of planning, procrastinating and subsequently rescheduling I have finally had the pleasure of dining at Azuthai. My curiousity about anything associated with Thai cuisine has created this monumental build up for the visit and though it was not the magnum opus I thought it would be, I wasnt disappointed.

The first thing I noticed is how elegantly designed the interiors of the restaurant is. Ambiently lit and sophisticatedly ornate with Thai themed pieces and artifacts you can really feel the elegance and pomp that comes with the price tag you pay for your meal. Although not the sprawling establishment one has imagined, Azuthai maintains its spacious distancing of tables creating that intimate dining feel you would want on a special date night.

Their version of Thai cuisine is a tad bit subdued compared to People's Palace or Benjarong. The subtleness of the hints is not due to the lack of condiments but rather the exceptional blending of flavors that happens during preparation.

Except for the Tom Yum, which is unapologeticaly raw and powerful (I love how spicy and sour it is), no other dish had the earthy and herby contrast that traditional Thai dishes would normally have.

The Pad Thai for one had all the subtle hints of cilantro, peanuts and thai fish sauce, blended into a symphony flavor of texture that would make you want more with each morsel.

The pandan chicken was prepared more or less in the same way, injecting the tender and most chicken with deceptively addictive flavor of lemon grass.

The sticky rice also had the under the radar hints of cocunit milk and milk that fused well with the sticky rice forging a palate pleasing dessert.

Overall, though I wouldnt rank Azuthai higher than Peoples Palace or Benjarong, I would put it in its own special place of being that go restaurant if Im in the mood for Thai food that is a little subdued but still authentic.

My thai friend says the food is excellent. I suppose it is true. Indeed this thai food is pretty authentic and tastes great. That the main point after all in a restaurant. Pretty similar to People Palace in this respect but the service is less nice although still acceptable. Tried seafood soup and duck salad. Both are worth trying. Wine wine is spanish and rather expensive but also good. I like the decor and the quiet atmosphere. Worth trying.

Went there with wife on Sunday at 1:30pm. Restaurant looked busy but ambience is nice. I ordered Roast duck red curry and wife ordered Seafood egg noodle. For those who like spicy please order extra spicy. Wife said rice noodle would have tasted better than egg noodle. The seafood portion is quite a bit. Roast duck red curry also taste good with pineapple, grapes and tomatoes, portion is just nice for guy. Would say it’s value for money and would visit again.

Azuthai for Dessert! I was surprised that were heading to Azuthai after our dinner at Soms. We have a Thai themed dinner today. And consistent pati dessert. Love it!

✅mango with sticky rice (P265). Good for 2-3pax. Not sweet and enjoyed it!

✅Tako or tapioca and coconut cream in pandan cups , 3 pcs for P150. First time to try this one. Its interesting, reminds me of maja blanca. It also has corn in it. I like it too, coz its not that sweet.

✅brewed coffee ☕️- perfect match for dessert.

Verdict: two thumbs up for these yummy desserts in Azuthai. Their coffee is also good! Nice ambiance too! Lakas maka romantic feels (hehe)

This is one of the best Thai restaurant I've tasted. For the 2 of us, we ordered the shrimp cake and spicy papaya salad for starters. The shrimp cake was great. When it was served, the fragrance of freshly cooked shrimp cake was so inviting. And when you taste it, you would really go back for more. For the spicy papaya salad, we ordered medium spicy (thanks to our server who suggested it). Even if it was medium spicy, it was still a bit spicy for us. Otherwise, it was a really great dish.

For the mains, we ordered the US angus boneless beef ribs and chicken fried rice. The ribs were soft and tender and the chicken fried rice was really tasty and I loved it.

Finally, for dessert, we got the mango sticky rice sundae. The mango was not that sweet but it was ok since the sticky rice made up for it. The dessert was good.

Overall, I loved the food. The ambience was great and service was superb.

Ordered take out from here and really enjoyed it. We had the Pad Thai with Chicken and one of the red curries. The Pad Thai could've used a bit more spice but the curry was right on.

I have read and heard about this restaurant from friends and relatives. So when 3 of my cousins suggested that we meet up at Azuthai, I anticipated a good meal.

We had the prawn spring rolls for appetizers and it was simply good. We had the pomelo prawn salad that was clean tasting and sweet. The mains consisted of Thai bagoong rice with a strong bagoong taste, the phad Thai was nice and the crispy pork with kale was simply good. The unexpected dish was the boneless beef ribs. Now that was delicious.

The prices though was a bit on the high side. But I didn't mind paying for good food.

This place is costly but they sure know how to make some good Tom Yum. Pad Thai is also very good and the prawn cakes are tasty.
I do not think they know how to make Milktea, just avoid that.
I have tried most of their expensive items, and its enjoyable.
Good place to bring your date!

I can see why a lot of business meetings and other gatherings take place here. It's spacious, relatively private and a nice atmosphere. The food is good but in my opinion, does not beat People's Palace.

They have a vegetarian menu section with good variety including all curries - yellow, red and green.
I had the green curry and was delighted to see it have a good amount of broccoli and cauliflower... Whereas they normally skimp on those veggies and load up on the carrots, baby corn etc.
The pomelo salad was filling with deep fried tofu bits.
The crispy bean curd was more like agadashi tofu because it was soft tofu cubes battered and fried. The tofu was still very soft and mushy. I prefer the crispy and chewy fried tofu cubes.
A nice experience but rather pricy for the moderate serving sizes.

Beautiful and picturesque fine dining Thai resto. A little pricey for my usual dining budget range but the authenticity and taste will keep you coming back for more. The fresh spring rolls came with a tasty sauce. The chicken with chestnut was surprisingly a delicious combination. But my favorite was the chili garlic prawns. The prawn size was generous and the sauce perfectly with rice! A truly delicious and worthy treat for your family and friends!

My 2nd delivery order from Zomato and it arrived on time again!

We ordered grilled eggplant salad, beef panang curry and pad thai with chicken. The pad thai was one of the best we've had in the Metro on par with a couple of other famous Thai restaurants. Noodles were cooked to perfection and subtly spiced. Grilled eggplant salad was surprisingly good - pieces of eggplant with tofu and tomatoes. Panang curry was the typical thai curry comparable to most Thai restaurants. Succulent pieces of beef in a spicy curry.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Makati. It offers great food choices such as Pandan Chicken/Gai Ho Bai ,Azuthai Fried Chicken served with chili sauce, thai bagoong fried rice, among others. Their steamed fish was also good and fresh. The place has a very relaxed ambience . Excellent service and food prices are affordable. Definitely worth a second visit.

I absolutely love Azuthai not only because it's situated right outside my village but because the food is spot on!!!
For this visit, we got the Tom Yum Goong, Green Chicken Curry, Pandan Chicken, Fish Cake, and Fried Spring rolls. We had to be careful with our orders because my companion was severely allergic to shrimp and all shellfish. Yes, I had the Tom Yum all to myself.
Dish of the night was definitely the Tom Yum for me, followed by the curry. The curry was mouthwatering! Perfect balance of spices. Azuthai never fails to satisfy my palate

Azuthai is one of the best places serving authentic Thai cuisine. The interior of the place is very neat and it's a perfect choice for dinner dates. I high recommend the pomelo salad, shrimp pad thai, bagoong rice, tom yum soup and mango stick rice here. Aside from the delicious dishes, service here is also great.

Azuthai is a fine dining restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine. I actually heard about this place from a friend who said that the Thai dishes here are really good. Thus, I decided to have dinner here one Saturday night. I ordered pomelo shrimp salad, tom yun goong, pad thai, pineapple fried rice with cashew nuts and chicken pandan. Everything was good. So if you are craving for Thai cuisine, then check out this place.

Excellent Thai food but can get quite pricey too. Crispy Catfish salad was amazing with generous servings of both catfish and green mangoes. Couldn't get enough of their Panang Beef Curry as well. Beef was tender and sauce was very rich. It wasn't that spicy which was great because I'm not into spicy food. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their dishes!

Authentic Thai food, good ambiance, nice interiors are what makes this Thai restaurant stand out from the others. Dishes are presented and plated very well which makes diners wanna take pictures of the food before devouring it. I like the fact that the interiors are so cozy and comfy, it adds up to a memorable dining experience. Will definitely go back here for sure. A bit pricey but definitely worth it! Thanks Azuthai!

One of the better Thai restos in the city. I actually. Enjoy their food more than the bigger Thai restos in Makati. Their green chicken curry is heaven for me. And it's one of my favorite Thai dishes.

After sampling most "Thai" offerings In Manila, this is the only restaurant that serves anything close to Thai quality. Far from perfect, but eons ahead of the others. Go when their Thai chef is in the kitchen - the quality suffers when either of them (there were two, I believe) is not there!

For the reader: I lived in Thailand for six years and Laos for two and ate street and restaurant food every day. My ex-girlfriend was a chef.
